Why is Lana living in the loft? It's a freaking BARN, not some magical paradise where you can live through a typical Kansas winter.

Hahaha. I thought that was funny. I'm guessing she moved in with Mr. Stompy since those events that scared her from horse riding never happened.

A lot of allegory in this episode.

Yeah, Lana was insufferable this episode. Far worse than in Justice. Can we have the Lana from Justice back, please?

Well - you could always look at it like this....

Lana's room was kinda fairy tale like - meaning that Clark thinks she's sweet and can do no wrong etc

Chloe's room was all work and little play - similar to how she is in the show - she's always working

It was all in Clark's mind - so those mental pics came from somewhere.

I thought that they were using the scenery to enhance what Clark's impression of the character's were/are. imo

Right, I said earlier that there was a significant amount of allegory in this episode.

Hagen is the one who kills Sigfried, the immortal hero who slayed the dragon Fafner (Der Ring des Nibelungen).
You know, sometimes a great hero who dies young is better than a ridiculous hero who keeps on getting on and on and on and on...

And sometimes a hero needs to suck it up and become a hero - and stop playing high school.

I still remember my first girlfriend and first kiss in grade 11, Sharon. She was gorgeous, but I should have realized that under that cute blonde exterior a pit viper lurked. I kid you not, when I went home not too long ago I learned she married some horrible looking guy named Brent that everyone hated, lives in a trailer and has the same job she did in highschool: grocery store cashier. I stopped thinking about her, oh, about a year after we broke up. Christ, I was a teenager. You learn.

Looks mean nothing.

Czarnecki. Close. I was 5'11 at the time and she was an inch taller than me. Eventually I got that inch on her, but that wasn't until after we broke up.

So by the looks of Chloe's room, does it mean that Clark think's she's obsessive, may go crazy, or just messy?
And the Lana in his mind is creepy with poor decorating skills

Chloe clearly WAS crazy in the AU.
Still, she believed Clark and that's what was imortant, IMO...

Clark wouldn't listen unless there was a massive krypto-slap to go along with the words while the person doing the slapping was holding jor-el handsoap.

:D

All heroes need help....but what help can the supporting characters possibly give if the hero won't help himself!
