The first thing that came to mind when Linda Lake was hit by Lana's car was that there was no way she's dead. You could see the water moving as it was "alive" instead of just dripping, so I'm certain she's alive.
But where will she go? She knows Clark's secret and can easily tell anyone. I'm not sure if Lex will find out about her or if she will willingly go to Lex to be a part of 33.1.
I'm interested in hearing what others think.

I thought about that too. I thought at the end of episode that she would go to Lex and tell him about Clark and Lana's past or even about Clark's little extraterestrial traveller secret which would set up Justice but it didn't happen. Guess we have to see next week.

I really hope she does come back she would make a good villain for Clark to face(she can call herself Hydra). And it would be great if we got Chloe VS Lake Part II.

I would love to see her in 33.1; there was really no resolution with Lake, at all.

On the season 6 dvd in the deleted scenes section, you will see Lex and his team of specialists crawling around in the sewer looking for Lake. Do they find her? Stay tuned because the answer will be found in season 9.
Totally joking by the way.

With Tori Spelling pregnant, I doubt she will be back this season if at all.

I noticed they left it open ended too...I'm expecting her to never be mentioned again, though, given the show's track record. She has accomplished her purpose as a plot device. And now Tori Spelling is doing another reality show according to that AOL interview she did about Hydro.

I think we can see her popping up in season 7. Tori is preggers in real life so we will have to wait until after season 6.
I always enjoy character returns, personally.

Yeah, same
I heard about Tori being pregnant. I was hoping for her to spill to Lex at 33.1 and thats how the army starts but she won't spill till the baby is out.. Im expecting her in Season 7 as well.

YEa i thought that sucks about not showing us what happened with her. I also believe she is not dead either with the water moving at the end of that scene. It would have been cool as others said to have a scene with lex and his team of sciencists trying to find her and then take her to 33.1 trying to try her back into a solid form and all that.

I agree.
But I think they want to keep the door open to her coming back one day...

Where did Linda Lake go? Now that Chloe can expose her and Chloe is the reason she has to get lost... perhaps she'll lurk around gunning for Chloe.
If I were Linda Lake I'd change my name to Sara Smith and start again in Star City. No water cooler is safe when I'm around. She'd be at the top of the leading gossip column in no time.

maybe she'll go to Gotham since she's been staring at it from her office window

I'm certain she's alive. Things are just too unresolved with her. 33.1 would be a shelter for her, and we do know that she was collaborating with Lex since he was paying her.

I imagine she may pop up in season 7 to cause some more drama. But this time she will be out purely for revenge.
She told in an interview that she was to be in this one episode only. But I loved it that they didn't definitely kill her. She was a goor character actually. She added to a Daily Planet atmosphere kind of like the gossip columnist in Lois&Clark. Her fight with Chloe was a thing of beauty too. And she had a cool role that could be used again.

She's probably gone to find Pete, and see what he has to say about Clark.
Oh the magical world of Smallville where people fall off the face of the earth quicker than Clark can run.

Whew! Thank you for telling me that she was pregnant! The entire episode I was like, "duuuuuude! she twinkied up, no DOUBT!" In her 90210 days, she was just a stinky little daddy's girl in a show, and was all weird. But as a woman, hubba hubba! Glad to see the reason for all the extra poundage is another life. LOL
I know, ladies, I know - "how rude and stereotypical of a man". I'm cool with that....LOL

On the topic of "Linda Lake", that name appears as a character in the live-action series about the Flash. Other than that, I could find no information about her. Which I found rather odd at the time because I thought she may have been a DC character before hand.

So Lana hit her with the car head on and she burst into water. Maybe Tori changed to water before getting hit, so she really wouldn't be dead. I thought she was still alive after that hit, when they emphasized her going into the sewer. Did anybody else feel that way too?

ehh, how can you really 'kill' water?...my guess is the only way is to dry it, like fire, bright light, etc.. lol .. no hitting it

I bet she is still alive but can't go back together because the water that went down the drain was like her head and the rest of her body is on the road and lana's car so technically I guess she is dead.

I don't know whether she's dead or not but I hope she won't reappear in the coming episodes ... :D

I would like her to reappear next season and Clark to freeze her with superbreath to contain her.

That would be cool... and Clark might 'accidentally' break her into pieces
