I know someone'll post this, but when Chloe was fighting with Linda Lake, and she is on top of Chloe, and she kicks her onto Lana's car, she flies like, 3x more than humanly possible.

I guess it's cause she turned to water half way, so she flew further, I dunno . ;x

Chloe was just all around awesome in this episode. She defeats the freak of the week, confronts Clark and verbally "slaps" him into perspective, stands up to Lana and does the same, and has some fun with Clark about the Lois/Clark kiss. Great Chloe episode.

Rachel B , I love the idea of Action!Chloe :) And can I tell you guys why I will ALWAYS love that girl on Smallville? Because not only was the fight great, but it was even better because she was fighting to protect Clark's secret. Whats funny is no chlark DP moment/clark takin down the FOTW chloe actually had everythin in check.And it really cuts down the argument that they only show chloe at the DP as clark's info source cause chloe handle things on her own(Guess that A plot AM hinted at is comin true).So I thought that was a nice switchup,plus AM pulled it off tonight really everyone did in their own way.Chloe was jus great tho :D

I have definite love for Chloe. AM played so many cards tonight, comedy, action, drama. Loved it. She did it so brilliantly, I loved how Chloe-heavy the episode was! The fight surprised me tonight. We finally got a decent choreographed fight scene in Smallville that didn't end in two seconds with a push or a shove from Clark. Although I gotta say that I found the fight funny instead of how serious they were trying to make it out to be :lol:

I agree AM showed alot of diff emotions tonight,and her character jus kicked ass and had fun at the BDA expense,yea its safe to say she was great in hydro.

I do have to agree with most, that was one of the best fights SV has had in a long time. I suppose fights like these are easier because they don't take extreme/heavy stunt work or special effects and they're less expensive.

But on the other hand, they clearly gave us the impression that she is definitely still alive (and she knows Clark's secret!). I don't see how smashing her into a puddle would kill her - she was turning herself into water the entire episode, so how was that any different? Following the trail of water into the sewer, and the music that was playing as the did that, tells us that she is still alive.

Seriously, the only better fight I've seen on this show was between Chloe and Lana in "Delete".
What makes them good is that they're not only fairly long in length, which draws them out and lets us get a good look at the action, but they're RAW and natural.

Of course, in this instance, Linda had the upper-hand because she had a special ability, but that didn't stop Chloe from using her wits and strength.
A girl who can take on someone with an advantage and win in the end is a girl I can cheer for EVERY time.

This fight will go down in my books as one of THE best on this show.

I agree. It was a good fight. I hate when girl fights are just a lot of slapping - a girl can kick another girls butt just like a guy would kick butt.

Chloe is one of my fav characters on the show - she's got a lot of pressure on her to keep everyone's secrets, help Clark save the world, and keep a look out for all her friends - while at the same time kicking mutant butt and dealing with a snoop boyfriend. She's awesome.

And what's more - is that she had physical signs that she was in a fight afterwards - she wasn't all 100% prettied up again.

I don't think Linda Lake is dead(remember we saw a puddle of water go into the sewers). I would love to see Chloe vs Lake part II or Lane VS Lake(even though Lois would probaly kick Lake's @$$).

I am glad Chloe stod up for herself! Not just with Linda Lake but also with Clark! It's a good thing that she won't let others walk all over her! Good for her!

Yup she kicked butt on multiple levels which was nice to see. And I agree, MsS, as we've seen her fighting back since s1 - it's always in the same scrappy way. And it's funny but for having no Chlo-Fu she usually gets her targets pretty good.

No unreasonable martial arts tactics, just good ol' brawling. I wonder how much Welling had to do with choreographing that scene?
