01/16 - Tim Kring revealed: You'll see the inciting incident that allowed [H.R.G.] to gain possession of [Claire. The episode is] framed in a very tense, present-day story where the family is forced to deal with the past. Source: The Ausiello Report
There's gonna be a kickass flashback episode. According to H.R.G., aka Jack Coleman: "We're about to film the H.R.G. origin episode—where he comes from, how he got to where he is, how he adopted Claire and who his partner used to be. Also, the crisis comes to a head between his family and work in a very big way….By the origin episode you will have a very, very keen understanding of who he is, and it's wonderful, because there's a sympathy for the character that he's never had before and also a certain horror. They've managed to walk that line."

Tawny Cypress, Santiago Cabrera, Noah Gray-Cabey, Ali Larter, Masi Oka, Adrian Pasdar, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Leonard Roberts and Milo Ventimiglia also star. 01/31 - A female Hero will get shot during sweeps, and you're never going to guess by whom. (Hint No. 1: It's another Hero — and a good one at that. Hint No. 2: It may be tied to this teaser NBC just released for the Feb. 26 episode: "H.R.G.'s past catches up to him as Matt and Ted Sprague come to Texas looking for answers, and take him, his wife, his son and Claire hostage.") How would you shoot Clarie...she would never die no matter how many times you shot her right? Maybe its Nikki and Jessica lives the rest of the time....Oh i bet its Claires real mom...she could get involved right?

Hana either gets shot or does the shooting , purely a guess but it kinda makes sense. She is coming for HRG with a vengeance. Although in the teaser for this week Matt does have a gun pointed at Nikki/Jessica. Should be a very exciting rest of sweeps as this show just keeps on amping it up

02/20 - Jack Coleman, who stars as the mysterious Mr. Bennet (aka Horn-Rimmed Glasses) on the hit NBC series Heroes, told SCI FI Wire that fans can look forward to more emotional fireworks between his character and Bennet's perceptive and distrustful daughter, the invincible cheerleader Claire. "Certainly, the relationship between H.R.G. and Claire has been very strained lately. In episode 17, there is a crisis situation that brings it to a head and possibly a temporary resolution." 02/21 - [Jack] Coleman said that "Company Man" focuses on his character's backstory and will answer some of the questions fans have been pondering about Mr. Bennet and how he came to adopt Claire, the invulnerable cheerleader played by Hayden Panettiere. "It reveals that he took the job and then came into custody of Claire," he said. "It will show you how that happened, and then the journey from how that changed everything and eventually brought everything to a crisis where he has to choose between them. The end of the episode is very emotional, and it stuck with me for a while. Of all the scenes that I have done—and there are many that have been fun and memorable—but the end of this one has really stuck with me." Source: Sci Fi Wire

This episode sounds awesome. I'm especially interested to see Matt's reaction to everything, as he is a good guy playing the bad guy's role, at least for Claire.

With this show you tend to get alot more exposition from the flashback episodes. I am curious to see if they do a fast forward episode anytime soon.

Flashbacks are the ones that give you the answers. It's the fast forwards that make you question the when and how!

Ooh, I had no idea it was on last night! I was watching the Oscars (while hoping for a snow day :p), but sadly I fell asleep a little more than halfway through, and was not able to see Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst present an Oscar together. :D
