Are you just going to superspeed out of the Daily Planet!?

Sure alot of the people around are very busy. BUT what about..
Security Cameras? Jimmy?(lol) Heck and the fact many REPORTERS are around.

Heck, just go jump out one of the windows sometime Clark :p

Supposedly, Clark can move at speeds faster than the human eye can process. Although you’re right, Clark’s been caught on film a few times before. Lex was seen looping a barely discernable video clip of Clark super-speeding through, I think it was a museum. Even so, Lex couldn’t positively identify him. Lionel managed to acquire the warehouse footage that clearly revealed Clark using his abilities but—Smallville’s inveterate continuity issues aside—that may have only been due to the fact that Clark threw on the brakes just prior to squatting down to scoop up the perpetually unconscious Lana. It is safe to assume that no one notices Clark’s twinkling-of-an-eye exits from the Daily Planet. Remember Jor-El’s narration from the Donner films, stating that Clark would be able to propel himself at “virtually limitless” speed? Human beings can’t see objects moving that fast, ergo, Clark’s not just a blur; he’s literally imperceptible to the human eye when traveling at top speed.

Jimmy, a DP secretary, a nother basement level journalist, etc. might not see him move, but they would certainly notice the huge guy that was standing next to Chloe disapeared. And so would the camaras, Clark would be next to Chloe, then sudently he is not, so even if people dont acually see him move, they "might" notice he was there one second and the next he was gone.

Lets just say a nother girl in the DP thinks that the tall guy that visits Chloe is cute and she was staring at him from a far and sudenly he disapeared, or Jimmy showed up and he was as well, watching Chloe and Clark from afar, maybe to see if Clark acts like he is atracted to Chloe and sudenly Clark fades.

This are only hipotetic scenarios but posible non the less. He should be more carefull, I know its up to the writers and no one will ever notice Clark vanishing, but still Its OOC when he is constantly worried someone might find out about him and then in the next scene he takes off in superspeed in a room full of people.

I had a chuckle when Clark showed up again at the Lex mansion uninvited. Clark would make a ****** neighbor.

Smallville has become somewhat of a parody of itself.

As much as I love Clark, gotta agree with this. It's a hypothetical scenario that, if I didn't know how SV is a lot of the time, I'd be surprised that someone hasn't already noticed him 'disappearing' right before their eyes by now.

And, on a related note, it's kind of funny how whenever he does his superspeed disappearing act, that papers and other things surrounding him don't flutter about in his wake. I guess they only save that kind of thing for the comical scenes.

It's not the fact that Clark would be a blur, it's the fact that he's there one second, and has disappeared the next.

Even if you're not directly looking at someone, you can tell if they're there one second and vanished into thin air the next.

If you were looking right at someone, and then they weren't there, you would probably just think you were seeing things. Clark has left the normal way several times too, so I'm sure people saw him leave those times and just think they are zoning out the others.

Yeah thats what I always think of. Most of the times people will be like "I could have sworn there was a man just standing there...oh well must be my eyes playing tricks on me again..damn I need to go get some coffee."

That is just Superman/Clark Kent iconic...superspeeding out of the daily planet to save the day! Pretty soon he's going to be trying to come up with an excuse to leave the DP. lol.

seems pretty lame that none of Chloe's co-workers have asked her who her friend is, who's always there! All those ladies at the DP and no one is eyeing Clark-no one is that busy at work when a cute guy is around.
Although in Clark's defense, he has mastered quick exits.

Yes, but that is asuming NOBODY, EVER IS ACTUALLY FOCUSING THEIR SIGHT ON CLARK, thats why I wrote specific posible scenarios scenarios, its one thing if you sudenly see someone in the back of your eyes, or a quick glance and then they are gone, but its diferent if someone was specificaly looking At Clark, which given his size, his good looks and the fact that he doesnt work there but constantly show´s up(which could arise both suspicion and/or curiosity in Chloe´s coworker, who happen to be reporters), we can asume that its highly posible that someone might be looking directly at him, when he disapears.

Just as an example : Jimmy sees, Chloe laughing alongside Clark, he feels a little insecure and decides to watch their interaction to see if he can see some sighn as to what is going on between Chloe and Clark. His eyes are FOCUSED ON CLARK, sudenly the tall farmboy disapears. I dont think JO would question his sanity, I think he would question WTF is up with that Kent.

Like I said, its only a matter of the writers choosing not to have someone notice, but it is bad writing and OOC of Clark, considering he has in more than one ocation did everything with in his posibilities just to avoid exposing his powers and sudenly he starts superspeeding in plain sight, I never saw Iconon Clark, spining into his costume in front of everyone and hoping everyone would think "Hmmm... I thought I saw a guy in a suit, but it turns out it was superman, I must be imagining things".

He didnt superspeed, at least not in plain sight, he usually found (and they showed it many times) he looked for abandoned alleys and stuff where no one would actually see him take off or speed away.

I completely agree.
I would gladly take a break at work to watch the tall hot guy with my co-worker.
Especially if he doesn't work there, but is constantly there.

Good point, Clark would stick out like a sore thumb, and he has shown his powers to so many people.
I wonder what the government has on him.
Like spy satellites pictures of clark. One second in Metropolis, one second in smallville.
Don't tell me he does not give off a sonic boom once in awhile.
