Ok, I'm sorry:o, *not really alll that much* but Jimmy, he still hasnt really done anything for me....Tonight I just found him rude and very in the mood, like, Glenn Miller riding a unicorn in the mood:\.......*clears throat*....
And whats with the being rude to that little mexican kid huh:mad:
I mean, no wonder he ran away:eek:, after being insalted like THAT, I'm surprized Jimmy still had his bird lips to spread the word about him still having his life! If I'v been taught one thing, it would be not to upset a person with faimly members....I mean, he must not watch the Sopranos
Anyways, I just thought that was stuipde, and was pretty insalting, I have had that happen to me befor, not a very happy place to be, and I LOVE being in happy places...just because, I dont get good grades dosnt mean I dont know how to say "Screw you" or some other articulate.....words:(
I just dislike Jimmy a whole bunch, and frankly, I few close friends of mine will be throughing a party when he leaves...Just dont like the guy, and I feel like I'm the only one who dosnt:o I havn't heard anyone els complane about him! "Not supporters of Jimmy"....Where are you!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!
And, I also felt like Jimmy couldnt talk about anything other than untastfull fell sorry for my photo carrear pitty sex and pizza:\
I hold him personaly responsiable for leting Heavear run away:mad: along with why there is no world peace and the paper cut I have on my finger:mad:

He was being in love with his girlfriend and wanting to be physical with her. He was also being playful, much as I would expect Jimmy to be. If you have seen Lois and Clark, he very much reminds me from Jimmy on that, except this Jimmy can actually manage to get and keep a girlfriend. He wasn't being a jerk at all, he was just being playful and perhaps doing so at the wrong moments. Chloe clearly found it cute, though, and if it makes her happy, that's what's important.
ETA - I love how you have only one positive-towards-Jimmy option and even that one seems to be somewhat negative.

jimmy was always a nerdy bowtie does not fit in well character. smallville's jimmy really is not bad as actor, he just suffers from bad writing.

If it makes you feel better I really don't like him either, and Chloe can do way so much better, and deserves so much better. :)

Kiddish !!! There' nothing romantic about his relationship with Chloe. Is Jimmy's character supposed to be like so....

Well, it was out of character of him to just be like "let's go home for dessert" (pull out whip cream) At first he was cute, with the flower and the nice idea of going out... but he wasn't that bad, I thought he was cute when he was trying to be friends w/ Clark and just came out very dorky and strange. lol

I thought his performance this episode was the most L&C-Jimmy-like yet. And while I don't particularly love the character, I can deal with him in the episode.
My biggest problem is that I fail to see what he brings to the show. Like Midgard mentioned earlier (I don't know why I'm quoting you in every topic I find, really), this Jimmy is very similar to L&C's Jimmy... but in L&C, Jimmy had a place! He was Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen. And this isn't me complaining about Smallville screwing up Superman canon by making Jimmy the same age as the others... that doesn't superbother me (no pun intended). What bothers me is that he was just thrown into the show to add a bit of mythos, supposedly, and I have yet to see an episode where he actually serves a valid purpose.
On a somewhat related note, did anybody else notice a look of sadness in Chloe's eye when she said "That ship is firmly docked" (or something to that extent, regarding her and Clark being just friends)? I thought I did, but it was so fleeting I may have imagined it.

Really the look on her face period when jimmy brought up clark bein in luv wit her,and havin to reassure him clark doesn't feel that way.Plus what I thought was funny was her comments about define bf,and even jimmy hesitant wit sayin gf when walkin in the DP at the end.He looked at her and hesitated like he didn't kno whether to call her his gf or what  .The whip cream part was ooc for them but then again it wasn't cause chloe shot him down again, which is odd to me.She turns down his advances at her alot lately, since the makeout point I always see chloe havin to back away from him.Plus what harm is it kissin ur bf when the guy in the room knows u 2 r datin, their scenes tonight jus showed jimmy to be alil 2 paranoid but hey who knows wit the upcomin epi he may have a reason to be :D
O yea that ring the bell line was too funny, clark looked at him crazy

That was probably my favorite scene of the episode, and ranks pretty high on my favorite SV scenes ever. The expression on Clark's face was perfect. Jimmy's behavior was an equivalent of thinking the Kryptonian power source was Egyptian lol. Everybody around him knows how off he is, but he has no clue.

I cannot stand him. I don't find him funny at all. What I do find -- he's an IDIOT.
Chloe deserves better! I just don't understand how TPTB could give her one of the lamest characters ever.

I don't mind this JImmy.
But he isn't for Chloe. She admitted it today, so Ch(l)immy is over, IMO...

Jimmy is lovely. If Chloe doesn't appreciate him and would rather babysit/to secretarial work for Clark in the hopes that some far off day he'll fly back to her...
Jimmy's better off without her.
So far it seems that she appreciates him and then some. She just has problems with the girlfirend/boyfriend labels for some reason.
Yay Jimmy!

Sounds to me like you'd be the better match for Jimmy.
;)
Don't worry people have said the same about me and Chloe... But they're wrong, of course. Or are they?!?

Jimmy's okay. I guess I don't mind him that much. After all he is just a filler boyfriend....until Chlark :D

Smallville's Jimmy is a pretty funny guy. I like his character.

wow. lots of Jimmy hostility. "Sex addict"? Really? because he's attracted to his girlfriend and wants to be with her? Sounds like, I don't know, a college-aged guy. "Sex addict" may be an overstatement.
Honestly, I like Jimmy's character. He's funny and sincere, and he obviously adores Chloe. He doesn't manipulate or lie. That puts him one-up on most of the guys in this show, right? (...Kidding. geez. put down the pitchforks and torches.)
And seriously, the scene with Clark at the DP was one of the funniest Smallville scenes I can remember. The confused look on Clark's face during the entire exchange was priceless.
"I think we should play a little one-on-one and just...leave it out on the court. I mean, we're bros--not foes." *fist bump*

I thought Jimmy was very ignorant in this episode.
The real Jimmy Olsen is a lot more considerate and polite ... the character is being altered into an ass.

I see him trying too hard to be Chloe's guy. And JO hasn't been written as a worthy bf for Chloe.
The insecurity Jimmy feels is not coming from Clark IMHO but from Chloe herself. Every time he tried to call her his girl, gf, etc. She doesn't agree. She seems to be OK with him in private, but with others around she's almost indifferent. That should be a sign to anyone that the relationship is going no where. If you're a secret or near one, you're not in a true relationship.

I'd snap up Jimmy in a heartbeat if I were Chloe! LOL!
But perhaps Chloe's a bit masochistic and I get it... Clark's a hunk-sicle... but FIVE YEARS AND COUNTING. Sheesh! I'm not convinced that Chimmy's over... Jimmy delights Chloe, he makes her blush... she knew EXACTLY what the whipped cream is for... she's attracted to him (Wither) she just doesn't quite know what's going on. Which is really fun to see in love. Sometimes it's crazy and unpredictable and not at all what you thought it would be... but... still yummy. So...
Long live Chimmy!
And if Clark makes the first move... fine lets see about some Chlark but no more PINING CHLOE!!!
At least after all the babysitting and secretarial work Chloe got a byline.

Mr. Action has been comic relief since his creation way back in 1941 as a copyboy.
I just wonder if Clark will give him a signal watch soon.
I think Ashmore is doing a great job with what he has to work with.

Yeah, it's nice to see that her career hasn't suffered too much. Well, I guess her college career might have - but whose on SV hasn't...?
