Momma also has to realize her alien boy is what now in Earth years? 21? And she has to rely on clark's sense, of what he has. He has been through more things than anyone else can imagine. And look at all the illegal aliens he let slip onto Earth through the phantom zone. He has some explaning to do to the INS himself for the ones in the US. Besides, that kid spoke english so well, without an accent, if he was stopped, I would not think he was from another country. (why did they not get someone with a spanish accent-I could not believe that he was Mexican or Latin American at all, especially when his mother had a thick accent and everyone around him did too.)
