This week, Lana says she understands the need for 33.1 because, you know, we need to learn all we can about meteor freaks so we can better protect ourselves. Next week Lana will say, "Lex, you've become obsessed with it. It's either 33.1 or me."
Sound familiar? :\

 That's exactly what's going to happen. This whole Lexana thing is so inconsistently written, especially Lana's role in it.

You're 1,000 percent right. IMO, bad writing is what they used to start Lexana in the first place, so it's only fitting that even worse writing would be used during their relationship. It's called "characters spinning their wheels", that way, TPTB don't have to take any risks/chances with the storyline, they can just leave it alone and continue to mail it in when it comes to the scripts that they write each week.

Not only that, but she was a complete and total skank to Chloe.
Chloe is the only one that believed her about Lex, helped her save Lex, and in the end, all Lana can say is: "B!tch, please, you don't know Lex the way I do."

She already flip-flopped from last week when she asked Clark if he ever regretted a choice he made (by which she meant her choosing Lex). This is amazingly stupid. Too bad Chloe didn't tell her that he risked her life during the 2nd meteor shower just to get answers.

*sighs* Unfortunately, that's what I see coming too. I can't insist enough on the fact that TPTB need to make up their minds once and for all about Lana. Make her dark or make her good.

Yeah, but once Lex disappeared, all she wanted to do was see Lex again. The fact that Lex just went poof, that changed everything. Personally, I cried when she said that. That was very emotional.

Well Lex continues to lie to Lana. It appears to me that Lana is the type of person that will pick a fight with out first considering what someone is telling her. Te me she reflected afterwards and had doubts. Her comment about the metor freaks to Lex seemed to me like a badly written ploy to get Lex to spill the beans. To this Lex countered with the proposal and side stepped the topic. Lex is in love but he is still MB jr.

Honestly, I think you're right.
Lana did a total 180 in this episode and I don't see why she won't do one again by the new episode.
Who wrote tonight's episode and were they told what happened in the past three episodes before this one?
It's like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

She did the same thing with Cyborg last season when he said that lex was involved in what happened to him and that was before she and lex were even romantically involved. Lana is a user same with Clark lately.

Last week Lana was a disloyal idiot, but this week she stood by her man, so that was good. At least she flopped in the right direction this time. I think Lex's disappearance shocked her into some rational thinking. If she kept up the same behavior she showed last week Lex would probably have to have her killed.

I agree. I think his disappearance shocked into some rational thinking, like you say. I guess I understood where she was coming from in that part, cause usually when you find yourself in a situation where you're close to losing someone you love or care about, you come to your senses and start thinking more rationally.
Meh, I don't know what to think about Lana to tell you the truth. :\

Actually, we had two new writers AND a new director this week. Maybe that explains it?

Lana's "character" is so freakin' inconsistent I truly have no idea whether she will accept Lex's proposal.
This is the problem--she has no discernible character b/c the writers (and most likely specifically AlMiles) haven't defined it at all. I guess they're too concerned with how wonderful and gorgeous and perfect she is (I say this with just a hint of sarcasm). After six seasons I still don't know who she is, except a lame character.
And before I'm labelled as a "Lana basher" I have to say I really want to like Lana, but I just can't. :(
