If this turns into another negative Lois thread, then I tell the MODS to close it since she wasn't in this episode and there is nothing to say about her in this episode thread.

I bet oliver is teaching lois how to bake oreo cookies!!:rotfl:

they were having sex of course... that's what all ships do when the cameras go off

but seriously,

the point is that it doesn't matter and that lois and ollie are doing something just not something worth showing right now. they'll most likely allude to it later to confuse us though

I rather have sceen Chloe and Lois rather than Chloe and Jimmy....I missed Oliver in this one, and Lois, I missed her too:(, I miss the lighter side of things...And the less Jimmy side of things, am I the only one who still dosnt like the guy! I'm starting to feel along on this one:\

But, I really dont know what Lois and Oliver were doing............................................. ........
....................................:p............ ...............I have an idea maybe...........................They just wanted some alone time, I mean, the didnt get to finish their date last episode, so um, well, they are probly doing what they were about to do befor she couldnt find him, and he was gone then whent on a drug spree, but also after the thanksgiving dinner, but hey, I dont know, they could be finger painting and watching Veronica Mars....because well, thats just fun to do, AND Veronica Mars is pretty flippin awesome

Horry for what gos on outside of smallville!!!! Boo for the stuff I'm stuck with watching:(

chloefan5
11-16-2006, 08:43 PM
i bet MamaKent could go for a VM marathon... the only time the phrase "DVD" has ever been spoken on this 21st century, sci-fi show, was by her, during Sneeze. thats ironic

They were playing Guitar Hero II at Ollie's place. Not only did he lose to a dude with a cast but he lost to a chic too!

Women and video games . . .oh yes :)

to tell you the truth, this ep was so PACKED with things as it was (albeit Lexana nontheless), so adding in Oliver, Lois, Martha, and Shelby (aka the dog I hope they feed occassionally- where does he go?) would've been a waste of actors, resources, and MONEY. that last one... it's uh, important to most of the people you see listed right after the intro sequence...

They were somewhere laughing at me because I thought Martian Manhunter would have a bigger role than this.

I feel cheated...

I realised how stupid this episode was when Clark spent half his screen time staring intently at an Oreo Cookie. It was nice shout out but this episode was just . . .off. Clark was barely in it and when he was he wasn't really doing much of anything that made him progress except when he finally decided to go out in the world and do something instead of just concentrating on those in his general vicinity and how he did that without Chloe showing him how to go potty and tie his shoes. Way to go . . .Superman :)

To make a long story short . . .thank goodness Lolliepop wasn't in this episode, it would've been a pointless scene anyway. Better to save those two love birds for a better episode . . . but I still say they were playing video games.

Absolutely true, I am with you biaaly.

I think Lois was with Martha performing some COS duties for her and Ollie was bringing her dinner.

And Shelby sat right there near her feet, making her allergic.

Oh, I missed Lois Lane!!:(

I voted teatime with Martha...

But visions of yachts, hot tubs, champagne and strawberries danced through my head. LOL! Is it the wrong time of year to ride around in a yacht?

Honestly Oliver's running his business by day, fighting crime by night and squeezing in time for Lois on the weekends. Lois is running around with Martha as her chief of staff (if she still is her CoS), looking for her next story, and squeezing in time for Oliver on the weekends.

That's my guess.

Maybe next episode will mention how green arrow held up the local gamestop demanding a ps2.

No seriously, what were they doing? They weren't getting paid for the episode so they wouldn't come out of stan's closet because John Travolta and Tom Cruise are back in there, not getting paid for smallville either.

Wouldn't that kind have been a cool reflection on modern times? Ollie having a ps3 or Wii early (wow that is such a stupid name) and talking about how he bought it off ebay for $53,000 or something.

The best article ever spoofed the unvailing of the Nintendo Revolution (the original name for the Wii) in which Game Informer had painted the old style PS2 purple. That rocked a lot.

Right!:D

But that makes me think, Lois is having two careers at the same time, Oliver is running a whole business empire, um... when is Clark Kent going to enter his career, i.e., journalism. Honestly, I am getting more and more eager to see him as a full fledged journalist..

Who gives a crap where they were? Not me. Had they been in it, I would have been convinced that Tom Welling does have super speed, as I wouldn't have seen him once in this episode.

Ollie was probably at a meeting for Queen Industries and Lois was probably working on a paper.

Some episodes are Climmy centric like Fallout and Static, others are Lollie, like Rage, Reunion and Arrow.

Me too! Maybe a little rift with Chloe will do the trick.

I agree that there was no room for Lois and Oliver. They didn't belong in this episode. There was barely any Clark in the episode as it was.

I wouldn't like it though, but I can see that coming.

I mean, I wouldn't want rift with anyone to be Clark's reason for becoming a reporter. He has relied too much on Chloe in the past, I wouldn't want this major development to be attributed to his fight with Chloe.

^You're right. But maybe being forced to do it for this reason will make him remember how much he likes it. (See end of Season 1 or was it 2 - he tells Lana he's thinking about being a Jornalist when he grows up). Or maybe a barn door will hit him. *giggle*

I voted for Shelby, but I think they were really playing the PS3 after a long hard day of working, which Lois was camping out in front of Best Buy for in "Fallout" (since Rage was Thankgsgiving, and the PS3 comes out today, which is about a week before Thanksgiving) under the guise that she was writing a story, while she was really working on a gameplan for Martha's week that would allow her freetime to play that PS3 she was about to buy :-P.

ginnyfan
11-17-2006, 09:21 AM
^I like that idea Katarite. Oliver got a PS3 early through his inside connections. And as we saw in "Fade" and another episode at the DP with Chloe, Lois loves video games. :)

I would had though that everybody by now should had now that rule: all ships have sex offscreen that is the only way we can make it trhough this cheating show fanwanking sex for our favorites ships :D...So my guess is that they retook what was interrupted in Ollie's tower ;)

I voted for the tea time thing with Mama Kent because it was funny. ;) It also seemed like a cosy and pleasant thing to do, in contrast to the gore and Lexana drama of Static.
Missed all three of those characters in this epi, even the officially present Clark.

I don't think they were sitting. When people get angry, then tend to be on their feet, often stomping.

Afterwords, Ollie probably tried to take himself out with his own arrow.

I never miss Lois and Ollie, while bearable, means he'll drag Lois along so all in all, any ep with no Lois is a good one and always flows better, IMO. However, since they presist in having this awful excuse for Lois on the show, then they should have someone speak a throwaway line to indicate where she is. She had to stay in Topeka or something.
