She had the most screentime by far in tonight's episode and for what? What are they doing with her character? I'm really fed up with seeing Lex and Lana and after seeing this episode, I don't even care if Lana finds out the secret or not. These two characters are absolutely destroying this show right now. I actually want both Lex and Lana off this show, and I never thought that I would say that. Clearly they are going in the direction where Lex is going to lose his precious little Lana and then go nuts. Meanwhile, they are wasting countless episodes showing this crap this late in the series. It's going to make the ending of this show suck because everything will change in the final few episodes of the series and we'll get a rushed ending. Just terrible.

I want them off the show too. I hate them. I'm so tired of watching their dreary, boring soap opera relationship. I wish both characters would get killed off the show and stop taking screentime away from other more interesting characters. I'm not even interested in seeing Lex evil anymore. Maybe they could kill him off and put Lionel in his place or something, ala Chlois. I just want him and Lana off of my screen because they are seriously making this show a chore to have to sit through.

Lionel stepped it up this episode. Any chance that he can get hit by a meteor and lose his hair so that he can become Lex Luthor?

I've been saying it all along. Lana dying is going to be the reason why Lex goes totally evil.

As for lack of TW, I hear he's prepping "Hydro" right now, so that might explain it. Hopefully we'll get more of him in January.

tptb have been pushing alot of lexana time and it really is not superman centric plot line. I don't get the fascination that the writers have with lexana, how are they not aware of how much lexana has overshadowed clark time.
I guess TPTB are bored with clark and its easier/more fun to write lex time.

Lexana is the new Clana for them. I'm convinced AlMiles planned this relationship all along.

Well first off, al/miles have always hated clana. They love lexana, hate clana.

Lexana is trash. There screentime made the episode horrid. But it doesn't dismiss the good stuff about the ep. Such as MM and the return of MB plus Clark getting off his ass and hunting the zoner.

I don't usually complain about the lexana screen time but I was seriously wondering what was the purpose of clark being on the show this eppy. The kryptonite criminal of the week sl seemsed completely out of place this episode was disjointed IMO.

the last episode better not be about Lexana. After all these years lana's screentime SHOULD gradually decrease from now on, because clark SHOULD be the show's focus. but hey, AlMiles love lexana. theyll probably have even more screentime now. ugh...

Like I said, TW is prepping "Hydro" right now, so they had to write an episode full of Lexana, and Chimmy and little Clark, though from now on, I want to see more Clark and less of the other.

*sighs* Where is all the Lexana love here? I love them, and tonight was a really good ep for them. It was so sweet--all the weepy love and the proposal. Personally, I really didn't like Clark's storyline. It wasn't the worst storyline ever--it's just that the sole purpose of it seemed to be to introduce the Martian Manhunter.

I just don't like Lex anymore. He has lost , I don't know, some character. The show is supposed to be about Clark becoming Superman, not Lex finding true love (which we know he won't-'Lana-Lex-you are the only one that has ever been truthful to me') So we know something bad will happen. Unless, she continues to get knocked out every episode (she was unconsious for a while when she shanged frequencies-not good for a pregnant woman-I don't know if it was concussion #35 or not) and her mind turns to total jelly and just nods up and down when Lex talks.

I love the Lexana stuff too, and don't mind it, but I agree the shows needs to convert more to its routes. I dont mind occassional episodes focusing more on other characters, but Clark's power and he himself have been more amiss this season. Maybe since the family life isn't there as much they dont have more chances for 'conversation time', I don't know. Either way, I did love this episode and regret so many people here didn't care for it :(

What I WOULD like to see is more Lex/Clark time. One of the more interesting things in Smallville - alright, bar none, my favorite aspect - was their weird relationship. I'd like Lex obsessed about Clark again, not just the box and everything alien. Trying to earn the trust for ulterior motives, something!

No, no. Don't get me wrong. I don't mind the Lexana. I think their scenes tonight were nice. I just think they need to focus more on Clark and his storyline :)

Maybe I could tolerate lexana if they were any realism to it.

Lexana would've been realistic if it was done in season 3. It's a storyline that is absolutely loaded with some of the worst writing that you are ever going to see on television.
