The hype on http://www.wwe.com about Batista guest starring on Smallville should help gain viewers. And they just might stick around.

The director's cut definitely gave him a boost in my book. I think he'll pull off a 4/5.

Nice performance... accurately showcasing a serial, alien killer.

too small of a role. I wish he his character was flushed out further, and I did not like the bone marrow eating, why does he have to do that? could clark give him something else to eat in phantom zone, etc... something, just more plot .

I am confused, he said he wasn't a phantom?? what was that about?? Where did he come from?? Does that mean he was like that when he arrived?? Like Raya? What are the two different types of Aliens in the foz??

The character was incredibly boring. No opinion on the acting.

I don't know why they bother promoting guest spots when the guest has such a minimal role. I was so disappointed. I thought the main plot was going to involved Batista and the FOTW would be a sub-plot but I guess the title 'Static' should have informed me otherwise.

There is more than one alien in the PZ. Kryptonains, Phantoms and other alien species. So is Earth the only planet without super-powered beings? Is there a planet out there where if we go there, we get some sort of superpowers?

He did his part. The character being played is something you can't blame the actore for, but yet the horrible writers of the episode. I hope they never right again.

His role was a phantom zone escapee. If u rmember what raya said in "Zod" only the very wrost crimicals bodies where destroyed and turned into phantoms. Bastita's character i guess was not the wrost kryptonians saw so they just traped him in the zone for his crimes. I did think he looked pretty good in the episode. His few lines where ok and performance wise was good and the lifting and throwing was good. Yea it would have been better if the episode was more center on him and clark then lex/lana and the static fotw character.

Was Batista in this episode? I didn't notice. ;)

Nah. He was good. He had few lines, but he was scary.

He was hardly in it at all. Same as Clark.:(

His acting was OK. I thought the back story was weak from it being so short. If it was the main feature with the 33.1 story as the back up it [the episode] might of been better. This ep was definately about LEXANA and CHIMMY.

He was OK, but died a little too quickly, IMO... But hey, that's nothing new these days...
