Wither VS. Rage

I'm only talking about the ending scenes, here. In Wither, we saw Lollie, Chimmy, and Lexana before we saw a lonely Clark playing with his ball. Yes, Clark was the sad and lonely BDA that he always is.

But at the end of Rage, as he looks around the table at Mionel, Lollie, and cellphone Chimmy, he seems quite happy and content that the people in his life have significant others. He's okay with the fact that he has to be alone for a while.

I liked that. Anyone else notice this?

Yes, I did Routh. I would agree with your whole post, except I get sick to death of the "BDA" alien thing. :rolleyes:

I thought it was really nice that Clark helped reconcile Lois/Ollie (as boring a couple as they are). I thought it was incredibly sweet how he paid tribute to his mom and dad. I liked how he smiled over at Chloe, and seemed pleased she heard from Jimmy.

I thought he was really cool in that scene. Surronded by family, and happy that they're happy.

Clark is a real genuine nice guy. I wish Lex and him were still friends. Clark was the one person that kept Lex from slipping to the dark side. I think Clark is ok with being alone for now and is happy that his family and friends are happy!

I noticed that too! And Wither and Rage in my opinion have been two of the best written eps this season so far. They both seem to have far less plotholes than the others.. but I don't recognize the writers for these two. Are they new? It's a sad sad day for Smallville when NEW writers can make a better script then the ones that has been there for awhile. :(

Still, he was mopey again today, which pi$$ed me off.

nice catch. he was single and aware of this at the end of both epsiodes. but atleast in Rage he was surrounded by people who care about him.
