Shouldn't he do his training before capturing or killing all the Zoners? I mean that would make it easier to capture them.

I think the training is a bit of everything, like learning how to throw a punch which Clark hasn't mastered since all he does during fight scenes is stand there and get hit. Would be nice to learn more about Kryptonians. Hopefully if there is a season 7 we get to see some of the training.

The training in the Fortress of course! He barely started it in Arrival but then he stopped to save Chloe and never returned to hang out with Lana. I'm so excited to see him start his training! LOL!

The training is to learn all the knowledge of the universe that Kryptonian intelligence was able to gather before it's destruction. It's the reason Superman knows every language in the world, etc.

Remember in Superman the Movie (only place other then Smallville where this happens btw) he leaves Martha, builds the FOS and Jor El educates him for 12 years. At the end of the training, he's Superman.

You have to be very well educated for a career of lifting big stuff, punching people, and bouncing bullets off your chest.

I think he will be taught how to summon his powers to defy gravity. How to use his will to accelerate, decelerate, and maneuver. Because obviously that part of the training was programmed into KAL-EL when he was reborn. He will also be made aware of how his powers fully work scientifically. And how they can be applied to manipulate the elements of this world . . . aw heck with it. . . i'll be happy when he learns to throw a decent punch and glass jaws somebody through the barn wall!!

I'd love to see more super-breath scenes here and there, but I guess they're just giving it time. Remember when they first introduced the heat vision and Clark would be using it like in every episode afterwards? The writers couldn't get enough of it; they even showed him making toast with the power!
