yea the egyptians line was funny,and his interaction wit lex was cool.I didn't like his first interaction wit chloe but liked when he was scannin pics and talkin to her.I had a tossup wit him in this episode.I guess since he's been gon for awhile and then comes back like he never left(The bf line which wasn't define yet in wither),but he was watchable tonight.Nothin too big to make me dislike him like in wither,so I agree wit the rest.Plus his scene wit lex was jus too funny

I was in Chimmy heaven (almost) all of the episode... It urked me that Chloe didn't work as hard to help Jimmy as she does to help Clark. Then again, she doesn't work as hard to help Lois as much as Clark or for that matter ANYONE.

But besides that... she called Jimmy her boyfriend and he called her his girl!

Finally Jimmy shines on his own. Before this I didn't really know Jimmy at all except as that guy who enchanted Chloe back when she was a high school intern. That is a good recommendation... but it's nice to see how cool he is with my own eyes.

Doing the dirty work to get a scoop... pulling a fast one on Lex... working hard to move up the pecking order... (sigh) I love Jimmy!

I agree,fallout showed jimmy in a good light for the jimmy character.Sv has done a decent job wit showin us jimmy that we're familar wit,but as u said the only flaw is the chlimmy ship.Its not believable and the only thing lackin from him,ur right she talks down sumwhat to him.Fallout showed signs of a rocky ship later on,but jimmy alone is good.I jus disagree wit the ship,but hey tptb felt it was needed to test the chlark ship(Whether romantic or friendly)cause now we'll see if the dynamic duo(No pun intended)relationship take a turn.Sum anti's say tht clark will be jealous of chlimmy because of him losin chloe's time(Which we haven't seen),and she'll be jealous because he'll start to leave her out of things(Sum can argue its over chlimmy,others could say its because he's learnin on his own).So imo jimmy is a roadblock for chlark later on,but for now the chlimmy ship isn't worth it.But the jimmy character is good

I don't think it's the fact that Chloe brought up the point that he was wrong as much as the fact that Chloe doesn't seem to ever fight for her man Jimmy. Chloe sided with Clark in Wither and is always running of with him to uncover some mystery but when Jimmy has something that they can work on together, what did Chloe do? She scoffed at him and insinuated that he couldn't handle the Luthors. I say he handled himself well. If it wasn't for Jimmy, Chloe would have never have known about Lex having the black box AND even though Lex tried to Jimmy fired - Jimmy was able to save his job by taking a demotion.

LOL, he didn't return her messages cuz he was too busy sparring with Lex Luthor and then devolping his sneaky photo's in a dark room. Like I already said, if it wasn't for those photo's, Chloe wouldn't have been able to tell Clark/Raya about Lex having the black box.

I agree with MBCorp and chlarklove. Jimmy is just not cutting it as Chloe's boyfriend. He's so childish, dumb and naive, I really don't think he is enough of a man for Chloe (heh he's even 'not special' in the sack).

Its unfair to say Clark is stupid, he is mopey/emo!alien/whiney but not dumb.

Watch any Chlark scene and you'll see a partnership. They can keep up with each other like no other pairing on the show.

I've watched them and what I say stands.

But Chloe isn't going to have the big career with the DP or bag Clark Kent. It's just not in the cards for her. Chloe is either going to die or go crazy.

Most likely die and her death will be the all important death that pushes Clark to enter the FOS to start his training for the 12 years or however long it's suspose to be. Which would suck, because JONATHON'S death was should have been saved for that purpose. Or at least put Lana, you know his love interest for the first five seasons, somewhat into that role that pushes Clark to become Superman. The Egyptians line was indeed very funny. I laughed out loud. AA's delivery of it was perfect.

I didn't like the first Chimmy scene where Chloe dismisses Jimmy's story leads outright. Fine, he didn't have any solid proof but hey, he's your boyfriend and co-worker too, try to encourage him!

Lex's line in Fragile to Chloe about I know why you never had a boyfriend fits here. Chloe is an intellegent woman but sometimes, that intellegence takes away her own charm, but the last scene was a pretty good amend for the first one, where Chloe shows her softer side and consoles Jimmy.

AM/AA chemistry has been explored for the first time, it is good, not great, but I am sure in episodes to come, they'll improve.

I am beginning to like Jimmy now. For the first time, he showed the hints of the comic books cute and adorable Jimmy. I loved it.

Which is the prime reason why I think Chimmy won't work. Infact, even if Chloe was paired with Oliver, even that won't have worked. Simply, because Chloe would never get over Clark.

Ever since she has learned Clark’s secret, it is like Chloe has lost any chances of an independent life she had. Now the focus of her life is digging information for him or being his search engine or protecting his secret which has become her self-proclaimed duty.

It is the reason why Chloe can never have a boyfriend, because she won’t simply pay any attention to him unless he is working on something that involves Clark. Chloe’s world doesn’t exist outside helping Clark. She never shows any interest in something that is not Clark-related.

Her recent disinterests in helping out her cousin or boyfriend shows she doesn't want to even talk about anything that is not linked to Clark.

Chimmy is a very good way to break Chloe free from her Clark obsession and give her a life of her own, but I seriously doubt that would happen. It seems like even the writers want to write Chloe this way now. It is evident by the way they showed Chloe’s behavior with Jimmy. It seems like Chloe is destined to remain Clark’s sidekick and she’ll probably never have a life of her own.

Jimmy is not dumb, and Chloe isn't Einstien either. She is intellegent but it is not that she is some kind of genious who shouldn't interact with normal guys of her age. Jimmy suits her personality well.

In a way, Chloe has moved on. Romantically Jimmy fulfills her. She calls him her boyfriend.

But career wise, Chloe is still sacrificing a lot for Clark with nothing in return. I mean it is great that she's saving the world with Clark, acting as his sidekick/secretary/search engine... but she really should be writing an article about Dark Thursday! She should be running around for the next scoop like Lois and Jimmy are and so I think she's sacrificing her career, in a way, for Clark. There was a good article in what Jimmy had, even leaving Clark out of it. That disc caused Dark Thursday... I mean... I'm baffled.

Chloe? Hands off where the Luthors are concerned? I'm baffled.

I'm glad she's saving the world I am... but it's at a very dear cost.

Anyhow I'm fully convinced that Jimmy is on Chloe's level and then some! Not everyone has the same gifts. Jimmy is not a male carbon copy of Chloe and nor should he be. I get it if people don't like him. But to say he's dumb and that Chloe has to dumb herself down for him? The truth is that not everyone is angsty (like Lex) and/or proving themselves every second with some zippy one liner.

Jimmy isn't cocky like Lex. And I like it. I don't have to compare each character to every other character to find their value. Or rummage through the comic books and make a point by point analysis to like Jimmy. He's dorky and charming and fun. He's sunshiny and he's really driven to be a great photo-journalist. I fell in LOVE! I think Chloe's pep talk to Jimmy was 100% true. Lex wouldn't have bothered to throw his weight around where Jimmy was concerned if he hadn't done his job well. Yay!

And I was happier with Jimmy in this past episode than Chloe! She disappointed me big time. I'm not saying she shouldn't have saved the world. I think she should have super multitasked like she usually does for Clark. (sigh)

Maybe next time Jimmy will take his idea to Lois. :D

Except for the FIRST SENTENCE, I think a lot of people would probably not argue this......but many of the people who feel otherwise, won't agree that Jimmy is on Chloe's level (not even close). And it will take a lot more than a couple of episodes to change minds.....especially if the TPTB do their usual "Lightswtich" trick......called the "Disappearing Dork"....here one minute....gone the next. This kind of black magic is very possible on this show.

yea well I doubt they give him more this season since he doesn't really serve a purpose but bein chloe li.Maybe next season he'll get more,but I see them usin 2 before Jan,and maybe the last 2 in April,so they can stretch out the ship sum.Even if they added 3 more they would be up by april.Cause the last part of april/leadin into may follows more into the cliffhangers for the finale.So he's not that important for that,so I doubt they give him more,if so it jus means we'll see more of him between jan/april.But nothin after april I'm bettin :D
