Freak Me Out!!

I went yew when the sword from the roof impaled the guy.
I jumped when the car ran over the other guy.
I jumped when the arrow went thru Olivers arm!!
I jumped when I thought Oliver was going to get another
arrow in him?

Did anyone else jump or did you see it coming?

Ofcourse CK wasnt gonna let that 2nd arrow hit...the arrow.
I loved the expression on Lex's face when that guy got impaled,bloodsplatter and all.I was thinking if the opening credits didnt kickin right there Lex would be smiling.:)

I totally jumped as well. Well the first scene where the sword impaled him, I went "Hoooly ****! and jumped" the other times I just jumped lol

I jumped ten feet in the air. i thought that the cement falling was goinign to be it then the sword freaking impales him! It was crazy....crazily awesome!

yea i jumped a bit..but yea you always kno something wasn't gonna happen 2 times to Oliver, Clark finally rushed in on time lol...
but I think it was a terrible way to die for Duncun...man

The sword thing made me jump a little. I was surprised by how graphic they made it (with the splatter). I thought the car running down Duncan was as obvious as possible... the whole "somebody backs into the street without looking and gets hit by a vehicle" thing is REALLY worn out. Plus, they were showing just enough of the street that you'd see the car for a second before it hit him. I wish I could say I was surprised by the first arrow hitting Ollie, but the hero getting shot (usually by a bullet, but I guess an arrow works) in that part of the chest, then basically being completely fine is one of the only things older than the car one.

But I'm pretty critical. I still think it was a great episode.

I didn't jump but I couldn't watch when the sword started falling. Grossed me out but made an excellent beginning to the show.

I couldn't believe that they actually showed the sword go through the guy. That surprised me even more than the blood splatter!

I thought that was pretty funny. I liked Lex's comment about his suit that he wore when that happened and how cleaning it was the only problem he had with that guy's death.

I forgot how long the "Duncan getting run over by a car" scene continued after he was hit, but I don't recall the driver getting out of the car. What, did that MB Lionel create a self-driving car like the Knight Rider so he could kill Lex's one and only friend? Or did Lana have a hissy fit when she was 9 years old and steal Nell's car for a joyride?
