Lionel with pictures!

This was short and in the middle between two commercials so it wasn't as obvious, but Lionel was looking at a bunch of pictures from the cave and other Kryptonian stuff. Actually the first picture was of the 8 and it kinda looked like it was a picture of Clark's chest when he had it on their in season 2 finale and 3 premiere. (I doubt it was from when it was burned on Clark but he was definatly looking at a bunch of pictures from the cave) Such a good character, still subtle hints at not having any idea what he's up to... Can't wait til next week!

i cant wait either. i dont know if you read the recent john glover article, but he says people will come up to him on the street and say, "Are you a good guy or a bad guy?" cause you honestly cant tell.

Yeah, he's been acting really weird. I thought he seemed kind of MB-ish in the Lex and Lionel scene in Lionel's office. He had a sort of evil smirk when Lex left.

Lionel clearly has something up his sleeve. I'm not sure if his connection with Jor-el is still there, but he has retained something and it has to do with the half of the kryptonian "black box" Lex and Lana (ugh!) have been working on. It's some kind of weapon (if used by the wrong hands) of unimaginable power as Zod used it to cause utter chaos. I'm especially intrigued as to why/how Bow Wow's charecter knows about it. Lionel's plan will be revealed in due time!

Yeah, I caught that look he gave Lex also.... after Lex told him to leave the research on Duncan on his desk and walked out, Lionel did give him a little smirk.... last week it seemed like Lex had the upper hand between the two of them, but now... Lionel is definitely up to something.

I am sorry if I am sounding like a lamer, but I do not understand when you all refer to lionel as an MB. Could someone please clarify? Thanks in advance. I am already slapping myself in the head for you guys.

You know, Lionel is a fascinating character! It's like he's good, because he has kept Clark's secret, but he's also bad because he is researching stuff that relates to Clark, in secret. I can't wait to see what he's up to!

Very true. He seems, however, to be looking after Clark though. I have a theory that the Lionel we see is not in fact Lionel at all, but it is still Jor-el, in full control of Lionel's body. In fact, I wonder if the Lionel persona is in fact there at all anymore. But then again, we still see the attraction to Martha. But everything still points to one thing. Lionel still has a very important part to play in the evolvotion of our Young Clark into the Man he is destined to be. Well, I have been wrong before. I thought I just knew that Lionel was going to be killed off by the end of season 4. I still believe that it is still going to happen. And I believe it will be in by Lex's own hands, thus cementing the Evil Lex Luthor we have all come to know and love.
