I know most of you hate Clana, but I dont think its wise in ANY show to have the main two characters apart, it's just lame.
We've had a 2 minutes Clana scene in over 200 minutes of the show so far..
We're back to S4 and the last arc of S5, and we know how well that worked out for the show

Um, the "main two characters" are Clark and Lex. Lana helps comprise "the big three," but the main chars are definitely Clark and Lex.

What is with DC and "Big Threes?" They have them in, like, everything

The credits were guy girl guy girl way back in the beginning if I'm not mistaken... "Smallville" is at its core a show about Clark and Lex. Lana eventually fades into the background.
That being said, what exactly would you like to see Clark and Lana doing at this point? They're not friends, they're not lovers, they're not anything right now. They don't need screentime to do nothing.

I hate Clana-ites.
Face the facts, Clana does not happen in the future, and that's something that WILL not change.

We had five seasons of constant Clana. It's very refreshing to finally have a break.

It was way too close.. Clark needs to stop caring about Lana.. Dont goto the Hospital ever again when shes there.. just stop it

yeah he needs to factor her out of his life forever and move on. he needs to relise that she is a lost cause.
not to mention that she has now had sex with lex, which inturn means she has had sex with all the ladies that he has. so she is most likely damaged goods.

I thought it was cool we didn't see one,it wasn't needed as lex pointed out to clark. He came runnin to the hospital as usual knowin that they aren't on good terms and it was possible she might not wanna see him.But lex stepped in for her really lol,but I'm not suprise they seem to be keepin clana away from each other alot this season.Guess they think if they r around each other will get more question about secrets from lana and more lyin from clark. So if that's the case then its good for the time apart

Clark and Lex didn't interact at all in 3 episodes in a row during season 4. That matters more than Clana.
Lana has her story with Lex now, it would be forced to start having Clana scenes just for the sake of it, the way they used to do

im glad, i hope beyond hope, Clark and Lana never have another barn/sunset scene again. The producers of the show apprently have gotten the idea that no one wants to see repeated lines and a ever present sunset to end every episode.

I dont think he will ever stop caring about her, although he needs to switch his focus...shoulda been a deleted scene.

Speaking of Lana this episode... how many concussions can a person have, seriously... I had a friend who got a fairly major concussion and was told to be extremely careful as getting another one in the near future would be... well back in the hospital at best. Lana's had how many now?
I saw Lana getting KO'd coming as soon as Lex grabbed her...

Lana getting a concussion is called "Thursday night." Same with Lex getting shot. :)
