Anyone else catch that Chloe said Clark can't get cut by Obi-Wan's lightsaber

Anybody catch the Star Wars reference?

When Chloe and Clark were walking in the hospital down the hall by themselves Chloe said

"Which begs the obvious question since not even Obi-Wan's lightsaber can ginsu your superdermis"

Watched it about 5 times, that ruled! :D

LOL, I totally missed that. I remember Chloe talked pretty fast though and noting to pay attention in that scene next time I watch it because part of me just "knew" it was good for some reason. :lol:

lol, no I totally missed that. Geez thats a funny line though! Gotta be one of my favourite Chloe lines. She's so adorkable!

Very cool. Mentioning a character name owned by Lucas Film LTD. pretty tricky. Don't you have to ask and sometimes pay for that permission? I bet they just slipped that one by without asking. Allison had the hyperdrive set and was going at light speed during the delivery of that line. She said it so fast I almost missed it.

Thank the Gods for DVRs :) I'll watch it again tonight!

Chloe ruled in this ep! And looked better than ever, if such a thing is possible ;)

Technically, I think mentioning a name of a well known character isn't copyright infringement, more of an allusion to that.

If Obi-Wan showed up to challenge Clark next thursday...that would be a different matter...

...but it would be sweet.

I'm starting to feel like too many of Chloe's lines are way too forced. It's like the writers really want her to ALWAYS be witty but most times now it just sounds stupid. In the first, second, third seasons I used to chuckle at her double entendree and stuff but now they've done everything that a person might actually say so they're down to way forced lines just in the hope of making her sound witty. Ha, way "Force"d lines. lol.
