Yeah, that went by WAY too fast....
At least the rest of the episode has been good so far, in my opinion.... so I can live with the "fight"...

Totally, not going to let this spoil the rest of a great episode.

It couldn't have been that easy..... except maybe on Smallville.
Shocking isn't it?
It is over? I was waiting for it to start.... Too many things going on at once.
Sigh. Better luck next week.

Anticlimactic is EXACTLY what it was! What a waste of a good character too. That had to be the lamest showdown in Smallville history. Seriously, if that's all the PZ escapees got, then please bring back the FOTWs. The impaling part was nice, but the final battle - weak.
And I agree with the above - the CGI was horrible.

The fight was way to easy, omg.
Chlimmy making out at the start, I was like, omg, this is straRTING PRETTY BAD. I liked the end, but no one was there for Clark after he saved the world, not even Chloe, sad moment :(
Oliver and Lois was a cool angle. I hated the Lexana(and I am not a Clana fan.)

Took two seconds to beat her, except for when she kicked his butt earlier.

I hope future Phantom Zone escapees will be better. This episode was good, but its no hidden, like sneeze was no mortal.

No flights..No Tights..And no punches(from clark).. Way to go writers!
It would have been cheaper to let clark get some hits in, or how about a superspeed grab of electrical wires. Is it just me, or is it ever time clark fights a non- kryptonite freak he gets his head handed to him? Supes in the comics fought cosmic baddies and cleaned their clocks, like mongul and darkseid! I see in the preview he cleans green arrow's clock. Big deal, a regular human with arrows vs. superman, what a showdown!

The fight between Clark and Gloria was whack. But why did electricity kill/vanish her? Gloria was kryptonian, even if she luvs nature, wouldn't it take more to kill her, or did Clark have his family medallion or something?

Gloria was not Kryptonian, as I understand it. She mentioned a planet coverted in steel and concrete, not like Krypton and FOS.

She was not Kryptonian, she was something else. The Phantom Zone prison more than just Kryptonians. She is a plant based organism and therefore could die the same way that the plant died in the hospital that Chloe killed.

It's too bad Clark was able to actually reason with Gloria, maybe find out where she came from and how he could help her. Then again, she was in the Phantom Zone so it's not like Clark should pull out the welcome wagon.
Another thing, anyone else think it was lame that we have to add alien influences to the list of Clark's weaknesses?
And that fight was mucho lamo! Married sex lasts longer than that fight.

So the Phathom Zone is an inter-galactic/ multi-planet prison...okay, my mistake. But the fight between Clark and Gloria was still whack.

Here I agree completely - *zap*, *gone*
They should have drawn it out a bit more.

This episode was mainly about the relationships. The FOTW was just something they threw in to make sure the show had a little action. It wasn't really important.

She gets electrecuted because water falls lands on a lamp that is laying on the floor, and this water reaches her along with the electricity from the lamp...
Hmmm I still think it's way too easy.
Somehow a lamp that it just laying on the floor doesn't cut it for me. Please... Even though the lamp blinks a bit, the lamp looks harmless. There could have been a better source of electricity.
And the fact that everything just goes *POOF* in less than a second,
Don't get me wrong, I love Smallville. There could have been a much better fight in this scene.
