Short summary: Yes, this is a Clark/Lana fiction so don't go and kill me when I don't give ya insta-clana! I like to take things slow...
:D
Anyhow, this story is going start out after Asylum when Lana tells Clark that she thinks that they shouldn't be friends anymore due to all the accidents that happen to her. She never meets Adam though and recovers after two months.

Two Months Later:

Lana is busy sweeping up the Talon after a long busy day. She finishes up and puts away her broom and makes herself a large espresso. She sighs and walks up to her apartment and sits down on her bed staring out the window while she takes small sips from her drink. She wonders to herself why she tried to push away Clark. He was always there when she needed him, just never there when she wanted him. He was always there to pick her up when she was injured, sad, or in danger. Yet, he always seemed to have vanished whenever they started to get anything near intimate. She also wondered if one of the reasons he pushed from her was due to her constant prying into wanting to find out his secrets. She knew that she wasn't the only one. She knew that Lex has launched numerous investigations on the Kents and Clark's life. He always seemed to have stayed near Lex even after numbers of times that he's discovered Lex's little passion for Clark's history. That's one of the things she loved about Clark, he was so forgiving. He'd give you one, two, as many chances as you needed. He always stuck up for someone who was being picked on. He was the ultimate good-guy in her opinion, always putting others in front of him.

She was about to turn out the lights and fall into another one of her deep unsettling slumbers that invovled the Kents, Chloe, and Pete pushing her down into the dirt and telling her that it's all her fault that Clark ran away again. He's done nothing but been there for her so she pushed him away, that he deserved much better then her and in the back of her mind she agreed. She heard a knock at the door and shouted out, "I don't know how you got in here, but the Talon's closed, sorry!" She heard the door creak open slightly as a voice laughed, "Well, having a key helps me get in, just wanted to come see and make sure you were alright." She turned and saw Lex standing at the door. "May I come in?" She sat up and pattered her hair once, "Sure Lex." He came over and sat down on the bed with her. "I know we all took Clark running away hard, but I think I've figured out where he is, or make that the entire government of Kansas has." She was taking a gulp of her coffee and when she heard him mention him knowing where Clark was, she gulped down the entire drink in one quick motion and begin coughing when the hot liquid flowed down her throat. Lex looked at her concerned then when he decided she was ok he got up and grabbed her remote. He flipped through the channels till he got to the Metropolis News. "And in today news we have discovered the face behind the multiple bank and jewel robberies all throughout town. This suspect has gotten away with over seven million dollars worth of jewelry and bank rolls. He is one of the most notorious criminals since Morgan Edge vanished from town and is on the FBI's Most Wanted list. We are now going roll a picture onto the screen from a tourist's phone who was at the Metropolis National Bank doing the robbery today. If you see this man please don't hesitate to call the police. When the enlarged photo flashed on the screen Lana could do nothing but stare in wide-eyed horrer. "But... but, no it can't be. There's no way he, but. No, no. I can't believe he'd do something like that." She just shook her head while muttering after seeing Clark's face pop up on the tv screen.

She tried to stop the flow of tears, but couldn't hold them as they begin to flow down her cheeks. Lex turned to her and scooted closer to her, their sides almost touching. He placed his hand on her cheek and wiped away a tear while turning her face toward his. He stared down at her for a minute before saying anything. "We're all sorry for what happened to Clark, he was such a good kid and he had a few mental problems. He has had personality splits and has ran away from home before. He might of just let lose this time, his mind finally bursting. It wasn't your fault Lana." She just muttered and noticed that his hand was still on her chin but for some reason decided not to push it away. "Lana, I'm always here when you need me. I'm always here when you need to talk or anything else." He said that and begin moving his face closer to hers. She felt his lips touch hers and she closed her eyes lost in the only compassion and trust that she has in her life right now.

Clark was casually walking through the streets of Metropolis as though nothing in the world was wrong. He glanced down at his class ring admiring the power it gave him, the courage to do whatever he wanted. The strength to not be the bumbling idiot who got pushed away from Smallville. They pushed him away because of his secrets. He always told his parents he was afraid if he told 'her' his secret that she would push him away the second she found out. It looked like he didn't even have to tell it to get pushed away. It just took him being near 'her'. There's no reason for him to continually save the lifes of people in that dreaded little town, all they did was push him away at the first chance they could, or they'll just investigate him. He's sure Lex would of loved to expirement on him. That's the only reason Lex was probably friends with a lil farm boy. He just wants to figure out his secrets. That's all people care about when it comes to him, his damn secrets! His best friend moved away because of his secret! His secret ruins the life of everyone he ever got close to. Two months ago he decided to end this little adventure in smallville. Now he's rich, stress-free, and no one is close to him, so he can't hurt anymore people. Now some idiot snooping into his life can't just walk into him on accident like Chloe Sullivan did. The security at the building where his pent house is located is too good for her just to flash her press pass and walk in. 'Those bribes help too. Ha.' He noticed someone looking at him and fumbling around on their phone. They were probably calling the cops. He smiled over at them and waved. They freaked out and dropped their phone and ran off. He laughed at this and smiled knowing how happy he was to have all the power he could ever want.

He finally got to his pent and walked in. He sat down on his bed and was about to fall asleep when he felt it. The burn of the scar on his chest. After he started wearing the red k again the scar came back. He ripped open his shirt and saw the menacing orange glow flash around the room. He pulled off his ring and waited until the orange glow stopped and placed his ring back on. He grinned and flexed his wrist as he saw the veins in his forearms pulse red before returning to their normal color. He knew he couldn't let the ring be off of his finger for more then a few seconds or he might accidently let his paranoid side call Smallville again. That's what got him caught last time. It's not like Johnathon Kent could just get superpowers again and stop Clark. No, Johnathon already has a debt that's still not paid. No one was going to stop him this time.

"Look kid, I can get you out of this mental wasteland. I have an army of lawyers that could easily beat out any rule that the judge or government throw at us. You could be out of here by tomorrow if I wanted."
"Then, what's stopping you?"
"Well, how am I supposed to trust you? You say you know the secret, but yet you won't even tell me? Why don't you just tell me?"
"Because I'm smarter then that Mr. Luthor, I know not to show my cards. You'd just take them and use them as your own."
"Good boy, you're smarter then I thought."
"Anyway, you don't trust me, he reigns free and there's chances she could run back to him or you get me out of here and his head will be on your doorstep within a week."
"Thank you for your time, my lawyers will contact you when it's time for you to be released from Belle Reeve. You will be sent back here in the snap of a fingers if you don't deliever in the time frame you suggested, though."
Mr. Luthor took out his hand and shook it with the other man.
"Welcome to the force, Mr. McNulty."

OK, ok! For all of you complaining about Lexana, it's the beginning not the end, do stories ever end the way they started? :p

Also, Mr. McNulty is Van McNulty from Extinction. Remember, he knows the secret to killing Clark.

Now the question is, which Luthor is trying to kill Clark, and how will Lana respond to Lex the next day. (The only reason she accepted Lex's kiss was due to her being vulnerable after seeing what's surcomed to Clark.

Only time will tell... Muah! :D

Lana was sitting in a chair up in her apartment above the Talon. She decided to take the day off knowing she would just zone out every order and be no help at all to the staff. She had so many thoughts swarming through her head. She had no clue what was going on in her life. Clark is gone, probably never return. He has no need for little Smallville when he has millions of dollars and the entire government is after him. He’s probably living large in some safe house with some beautiful girlfriend. ‘I’m sure I haven’t even crossed Clark’s mind once since he’s left. Well maybe sometimes, I mean I am the reason he ran away!’ She shook away those thoughts and wondered what she was going to say to Lex about the kiss. She didn’t really mean allow him to kiss her, but she felt so lonely, so unwanted at that moment, so she allowed Lex to swoop her up and provide her with a minimal amount of comfort. As on que she heard a knock and when the door opened Lex was peeking his head in.

“Lana, how are you doing?” She noticed he was holding a bouquet of red roses and he walked over and handed it to her. She couldn’t think of anything to say that won’t make him sad or angry so she just muttered and went to put the roses into a vase. He came over to her and kissed her forehead. “Lana, I was wondering if you’d like to head down to Metropolis and have lunch with me? I could fly you to any restaurant in your heart’s desire.” She looked up at his eager face and that saddened her, not knowing how to break the news. “Lex, us kissing… it was a mistake. I felt so weak when I saw Clark, never thinking Clark could turn out like that. I needed an outlet to let lose on, to be comforted. I’m sorry, but I’d like it if we could just stay friends.” Lex looked away and she noticed a flash of anger pass through his eyes then it quickly was replaced by a fake grin. “That’s fine Lana, I’m glad I could be there when you needed me. Anyway, I need to head off to Metropolis before I miss a meeting, some start early, you know?” He walked out of the room before giving Lana a chance to talk and dialed in a number. A gruff voice answered on the other line, “I told you to only call me in emergencies, we don’t know who could be tracing this number.”
“Mr. McNulty, this is a secure line, do not fret. Anyway, I called to offer you an incentive on our deal. You have him dead and send me pictures by 11:59PM tonight and I’ll hand over $1,000,000 and erase all Belle Reeve records they have on you.”
“It’s a deal Mr. Luthor, he’ll be long gone by tonight and your pictures will be delivered promptly.” Lex closed his phone when he heard the dial tone come on and smiled knowing that Lana will soon fall right back into his hands.

Van was busy working on the formula for his meteor rock infused bullets in a small garage that he ‘borrowed’ from a man who sadly drowned shortly after giving him the keys to the garage. He pulled the molding set from the freezer and opened it up smiling firmly down at his creations. The green bullets that he created had a slight glow to them. He knew that these would soon be used to rid another freak from this world. He pulled the bullets from the set and loaded them into two separate pistols and placed both of them into his jacket and brought an extra clip along just in case. He threw a hoody over himself to cover any bulges made by the pistols and looked down at the directions he was holding. This was a lot more simpler then he thought when he took the job. He read a newspaper article talking about an apartment in downtown Metropolis that was rented out by an unknown man who was 6’3 and had black hair. They said that they found the apartment abandoned one day and bullet holes riddled through the bed with no trace of anyone sleeping in the bed outside of no bullet holes in the mattress. There were no blood stains on the sheets though, so it couldn’t have been a person who was shot in the bed. He went over to the apartment complex and staked it out till he found the Kent kid returning to his room after a late night excursion. He walked out the door knowing how simple this really was going be.

Lana was packing a small backpack with a change of clothes and a few other necessities for a trip when she heard the door creak open. ‘Don’t people ever remember to knock?’ She turned and saw it was Chloe holding an espresso and looking down at her with sadness in her eyes. “Lana, you’ve been holed up in this apartment ever since that news report about Clark came on, you sure you’re fine.”
“Yeah, I’m taking it ok. I mean, he was the one who ran off for the second time. Nothing I can do if he’s become some bank robbing maniac!”
“So where you heading to, girl?”
Lana saw Chloe looking over at her, so she quickly switched her vision back to her backpack before answering. “I’m going to Grandsville, I need to visit some family to talk about personal matters involving myself, and I’ll be back soon.” Chloe had a nose for when her friends were lying and could tell by the obvious discomfort in this answer that Lana wasn’t telling the truth. She merely gave a nod and said she hoped Lana would enjoy her time in Grandville. She waved and walked out the door and down the stairs.
Lana finished packing and walked down to her SUV and threw the gear in the back and hopped in making sure no one that she knew was around and drove off. After she was gone Chloe peeked her head from behind her hiding spot and noticed that the SUV turned onto the highway heading toward Metropolis not Grandsville. She had a puzzled look on her face and wanted to know what was going on.

Clark walked toward his apartment with a small black duffle bag full of money from the local bank. He whistled and opened his door and threw the bag onto his bed and started walking toward a chair when he felt a sudden sickness. The feeling he got when he was near green k. He stumbled and leaned against a wall. He heard a deep laugh and turned toward the closet. “V.. Van McNulty?”
“Good guess Clark, but I have no time for chit chat. I’m just here to say you may have lived once, but I’m making sure you don’t walk out of here alive.” Van pulled out his pistol and aimed it at Clark’s thigh. He fired a shot and Clark felt the bullet rip through his skin and get lodged into his muscle. He fell over panting and saw his veins begin to pulse green. He crawled toward the wall and placed his back against it and noticed Van holding two pistols and aiming them both straight at Clark. Clark moaned as he felt another pain come onto him. His chest began to glow orange but his black polo was blocking out the light so that Van couldn’t see. He groaned again as Van laughed and looked over at him with a mix of pity and hatred. Van cocked both guns and pointed them back at Clark. “See ya later freak boy.” He unloaded both clips onto Clark. All nine bullets ripped straight through his shirt and Van could see the blood flowing freely from Clark’s wounds. He noticed Clark black out and decided he must have died rather quickly. He pulled out his camera and was about to take a picture when Clark’s veins began to pulse orange. He looked out of the camera viewfinder at Clark to notice that it wasn’t a malfunction with his camera. Clark’s veins were really pulsing orange. He noticed the ring on Clark’s ring begin to shine a mix of green and red when suddenly all the flashing stopped. He just muttered to himself, “Freaks…” He took a few pictures of the slain body on the floor and headed toward the local internet café to send them over to Lex and get his paycheck. He failed to notice that the rock inside of Clark’s ring which was originally a ruby red was now a dull orange color.

Lana let out a long sigh and looked up at the door that loomed in front of her. She remembered last time she was here, she went off to a club with Clark and he walked out on her. She was sitting there thinking about the past when she noticed the door looked like it had been slightly tampered with. She knew Clark would never let something like that slip, or break into an apartment he already occupied before. She walked up the stairs and pushed open the door. She looked around uncertainty wondering if it was right just to walk into his apartment and look around. “Clark! Clark? You here? Cl… Oh my god!” She ran over to where she saw Clark’s body on the floor face down. His cheeks looked cold and clammy. She ran over to him and flipped him over. “Clark! Clark! Please tell me you’re alive! Clark!!!!” She looked down and noticed the bloodied shirt and the holes. She clasped her hands in between the slits of the shirt and ripped it open. She cried at what she saw. His chest was riddled with bullet wounds, nine of them to be exact. They looked like they have bleeding profusely before the caked blood dried up over the wounds. She went numb at the thought that maybe he was… dead. She sat there numb for a second at the thought before snapping out of her trance and running to her purse. She fumbled around for her phone and dialed 911.

Jonathon and Martha Kent opened up the door to the Emergency Room that Lana told them to meet her at. They arrived and opened the door quietly and noticed her sitting beside Clark with her face in her hands and her cheeks were red and puffy from crying. Martha walked beside her boy and let out a stream of tears as Jonathon put his arm around her to comfort her. A doctor walked in with a sad look upon his face. “Mr. and Mrs. Kent?”
“That’s us.” Was all Jonathon could respond.
“I’m sorry to report but, your son is dead. His brain is mush and would of died of blood loss if it wasn’t for the odd condition that killed him first.”
Lana looked up at the doctor and Jonathon asked, “Odd condition?”
“Well it seems whoever shot your boy used some type of material we’ve never seen in a weapon before. The bullets were solid green and it seems when they entered his blood stream they caused a disease to spread throughout his body that killed him almost instantly. We tried to run tests on it, but it must have vanished the second he died. Completely untraceable.”
After he mentioned the last line a police officer walked in and looked over at Clark Kent’s body before returning his gaze to the Kents. “I’m sorry about what happened to your son. Whatever happened to your son doesn’t happen everyday. He must have been in something deep because this is no ordinary drug that was induced into his body. This couldn’t just have been an angry bank owner poisoning a drink. This is a foreign operation. We’ve been trying to figure out everything about these bullets because this could actually be a threat to national security if they knowledge of what these drug infused bullets were made of. Whoever owned these would be practically unstoppable. Just know if we figure out who did this, your son died for the sake of America. He may not have led the perfect life, but he’ll die a hero if our scientist can figure this out.” Jonathon just nodded his head sadly and started to leave the room and asked if Lana needed a ride home. She just shook her head and continued to stare at Clark.

After a few more minutes Lana decided she couldn’t look at Clark’s lifeless body anymore and started walking to her car and heard the Kent’s hushed voices at their truck so she decided to stop and listen to what they were saying.
“Martha, someone knew our son’s secrets and he paid the ultimate price for it, there’s nothing we can do!”
“All the other times though, he healed up if we just got the kryptonite out of his system…”
“This is different Martha, the other times he wasn’t dead, just injured. Now his life is gone, not even Clark’s amazing abilities could revive him from the grave. Anyway, didn’t you notice his class ring? It was orange. The red kryptonite somehow turned orange. Maybe that was an effect of his death.”
“But, what do you think it can mean? I mean all the different colors of Kryptonite have special abilities, do you think the orange can bring Clark back?”
“No, I don’t Martha. I hate to admit it, but like I said Clark paid the ultimate price for sharing his secret. It just might be a sign of a kryptonians death.”

Lana just sat there wondering what the heck this kryptonite word they kept saying is. Maybe it was the green stuff they found in Clark’s body. Also the class ring, she noticed the dull orange shade the rock was too. That defiantly wasn’t normal. ‘Wait… Chloe said the material in the ring was meteor rock and they called the green bullets kryptonite too. Oh my god, the green meteor rocks. But, no one’s ever been killed by the meteor rocks before… They’ve caused people to act weird but nothing more. Clark even told me he wasn’t a meteor freak and I could tell that he wasn’t lying in his eyes.’ It all started to come together for her. She decided to go back to Smallville and do some of her own investigative reporting.

-A Week Later

She sighed as she adjusted her black dress and hopped out of the car at the funeral home. She walked into the funeral home and saw Clark’s casket at the back of the building. She walked toward his casket and looked down at his face. She thought about how much has happened and how this all tied into her. She held back a tear and looked down at his suit. He always looked good in suits. She noticed they decided not to take the class ring off his finger. The faint orange glow had her puzzled and even after a week of private research she’s yielded no results on this ‘kryptonite’ stuff. She also noticed how beautiful the casket looked. It was made of teak wood and had a small green cross made of the meteor rock etched into it. She sighed and walked toward the Kents and stood by them. A few more people came by and looked over Clark’s body. About an hour later they brought the casket to the grave site and lowered it into the pit. She sighed and looked at the far side of the graveyard and saw a figure in an all white suit. She squinted her eyes and noticed that he was Van McNulty. She gasped in horror wondering what he was doing here. He tried to kill her and even tried to shoot Clark. She looked down for a second and looked back up. She noticed that he was gone. She looked around to see where he could have gone but noticed he wasn’t anywhere. She shook it off wondering why she thought she saw him.

-Two Days Later

Lana went up the Kent’s porch steps and sighed sadly knowing all the memories that resided in this place. She would take every one of them and hold them close to her heart forever. She sat there for a moment and knocked on the door. Martha Kent came up to her and smiled down at her. “So good to see you Lana. How are you doing?” Lana just smiled but then her face turned serious. “Mrs. Kent, there’s something I need to tell you about the funeral. I think I saw Van McNulty there.” She noticed Mrs. Kent’s face turn to that of horror at the mention of Van’s name. She quickly regained her composure and told Lana that she would mention the news to Jonathon when he got back from the Kawatche Caves. He was down there exploring Clark’s old think spot.

Jonathon walked into the caves and flipped the key that was in his hand. He knew that talking to Jor-El was not going to be pleasant. He went over to where he was supposed to enter the key and watched as it ripped it’s self from his grasp and floated into the hole. Jonathon felt as the room went dark and felt the blue light zoom through him. “Jor-El, is there anyway to revive Clark?!” A booming voice directed it’s self through the light that engulfed Jonathon. “I am sorry but Kal-El is dead. His destiny was thwarted and not even a kryptonian can revive the dead. I did not intend for my… our son to die this way, I am sorry Jonathon Kent. In thirty days I am going to send a special rock to Smallville which when it pulses will cause all kryptonite on this planet to become useless. They will all become clear stones. There is no point in the Kryptonite if my son is gone. I do not know how man could have thwarted my son’s destiny.”
“We all make mistakes Jor-El, one of Clark’s mistakes was to trust people with secrets they shouldn’t know, I am sure that he told someone who became jealous or angry and used it against Clark.”
“Good bye Jonathon Kent.” Jonathon felt himself disappear from the little world that disk transfers him to and found himself standing next to his truck with the disk in his hand. He wondered how long he’s been out there when he noticed Martha pull up in her sedan and hop out and run over to him. “Jonathon, Van McNulty was at Clark’s funeral! Lana said she saw him!” Jonathon had about a million thoughts swirl through his head. ‘Wait… that was the guy who was attempting to murder every one who was effected by the meteor rocks. He thought Clark was one of them and tried to kill him but got sent to Belle Reeve for life. How could he gotten out? He must have been the one to kill Clark… The kryptonite bullets… this all makes sense.’ He just sat there staring off in space as he processed a few things and the murder of Clark Kent slowly became clearer.

Jonathon slammed a stack of papers he was holding on the desk in front of him. He’s been researching Van McNulty for the past twenty days. So far he’s gotten no information. It’s almost like someone completely erased Van McNulty from this earth. He just wanted to find him and put his hands around his throat and… ‘no’ was all he could think to himself. He shouldn’t be having those thoughts. As bad as it is what this person has done to their family, Jonathon has never killed anyone and promised himself he never would. He started to breath in and out of his mouth until he calmed down and started rifling through his papers again. He wanted answers and he was going to get them.

Chloe entered the doors of the Torch expecting another private evening at her favorite newsletter drowning out her sorrows of losing Clark on paper. When she opened the door she was surprised at to what she saw. Lana was sitting there fast asleep at the computer. Chloe thought to herself she doesn’t think she’s ever seen Lana at the Torch so late. She was about to go over and shake Lana awake when a thought occurred to her. ‘Lana’s been acting pretty weird lately, maybe I’ll find some answers on whatever she fell asleep on.’ She gently walked over to the computer and shook it out of sleep mode. She found that there was nothing up and cursed Lana for being smarter then she thought she was. It didn’t take long for an idea to come into her head though. She went into the internet and brought up the history. She noticed a lot of search engines, ‘Lana must be researching something. She’s defiantly got me curious now.’ She began clicking through the search engines and noticed a lot of searches revolving around ‘kryptonite’ and chemistry experiments. She’s never heard of ‘kryptonite’ before and found nothing came up when she searched it up on Google. She wondered what exactly it was that Lana was looking for and looked back on the history. ‘Almost half of them revolve around chemistry experiments. Oh no… She must be researching how to create some drug and that must be the name. It must be pretty new if it’s not on the internet yet. Poor Lana, she’s taken the news of Clark’s death so hard.’ Chloe just looked down at Lana and sighed. She decided that it was fine if she decided to spend one night away from her trusty computer. She packed up her stuff and walked out the door.

Chloe was driving by the Luthor mansion when a thought crossed through her head. She knew that Lex and her weren’t on the best terms but she was sure he could make an exception for what she wanted. She parked and noticed that the security team was missing as usual. She decided just to barge into the house like everyone else seems to do. She walked into his house and was about to open the doors into the living room when she heard voices. Her investigative reporting side took over and she sat by the door listening into the conversation. “Mr. McNulty I told you already not to call me on this line! If someone was to walk in at the wrong moment they might put two and two together and figure out I was related into Clark Kent’s death. I already paid you so I don’t know why you keep calling me anyhow. Look, I’ll give you my pent house suite in Metropolis until you can figure out what to do. Just don’t let anyone see you go into it; try to stay in it at all times anyhow. No one, I mean no one can connect the two of us together!” Chloe’s eyes widened in horror at what she heard. It was Lex who hired for Clark’s death? But how could he? He was Clark’s friend… Clark’s best friend. It just didn’t seem right. She quickly hurried back to her car and drove off as soon as she could, wanting to get away from everything that’s happened the past few days.

-Five Days Later

Chloe paced around her room. She finally decided it was time to tell the Kents that she figured out who the killer was. It was time they know, they need to know who would do this to their son. She drove to the Kent’s farm and barged into the living room. Mrs. Kent looked out and saw Chloe and waved. She smiled and asked Chloe if she’d like something to eat. Chloe just politely shook her head and got straight to the point. “Mrs. Kent, where’s Mr. Kent?”
“Oh, he’s out doing some chores dear, why do you need to know?”
“I need you to go get him and bring him in here.”
“Dear, what he’s doing right now can’t wait, mind waiting a few minutes?”
Chloe snapped impatiently at the thought of waiting to tell the news after waiting five days. “No, I can’t. I need you to grab him now and bring him into the living room. I think I know something about Clark’s death.”
Mrs. Kent gasped and dropped her knife at the mention of her son’s death. She quickly ran out and told Jonathon to meet her in the living room. She sat down next to Chloe and waited for him to come in. Jonathon came in and sat down across from Chloe and waited patiently. “Mr. and Mrs. Kent, I think… Van McNulty was responsible for Clark’s death.” She waited for the inevitable look of anger in Mr. Kent’s eyes and look of sadness in Mrs. Kent’s eyes. She was slightly confused when they both just looked down and nodded. “We know Chloe…. Jonathon has been researching on him ever since Lana told us about seeing him at the funeral.”
“Well Mr. Kent, if you’re searching for Van, he’s staying at Lex’s penthouse suite. Lex was the one who ordered the hit. I’m sorry Mr. and Mrs. Kent.” She noticed that after this line that they both took a horrified look in their eyes. She saw the anger flash in Mr. Kent’s eyes and he got up went over to the gun rack and grabbed a shot gun. Mrs. Kent hurried up and took the gun out of his hands and told him to sit down. All three sat in uncomfortable silence until Chloe excused herself silently and left.

-Five Days Later

Lana was still angry; it seemed no matter what she did nothing would come up involving the meteorites and what special purpose they served. She knew of the meteor freaks but it seemed no humanly instrument could correctly decipher what these things were made from. She picked up one of the chunks of green that she carved out of the meteor rock and went and shut the lights off in the lab. She closed the door behind her and locked it. She walked out to her car and threw the green chunk into the bag that had the red chunk and black chunk she identified as meteor rock too. She decided she was going try one final test before she called it quits. She pulled out of the lab’s parking lot and drove out to Evan’s field. She was about to test out the most dangerous experiment yet. The reason she drove out to Evan’s field was in case it caused some sort of explosion. She didn’t want to hurt any innocent people if that happened. She was about to pull the bag of different meteor rocks out of her car when she saw something in the sky. She squinted and saw something tiny flying through the sky. She looked again and saw it was coming down to earth. She saw it crash about thirty yards away from her. Whatever it was must have been pretty tiny because it didn’t leave an indention or any of that sort. She cautiously walked over to it and picked it up. She was surprised it wasn’t hot and she wondered where it was come from. She noticed it was just an ordinary ugly rock and was about to drop it and gasped at what she saw. The rock slowly transformed into a beautiful crystal. She was so startled that she dropped it and watched as it dissolved into the ground. She stood there for a few seconds staring at the ground and then quickly started to walk to her car. She wanted to get as far away from this spot as possible. She grabbed onto her car when the earth shook. ‘An earthquake? In Kansas? It can’t be…’ She looked over at the bag of rocks and was startled to see that all of them had loss all color. They were all as clear as glass. She felt a million thoughts crossing through her head wondering what the heck just happened before she fainted.

Jonathon told himself he was tired of waiting for this to turn out. It was time to resolve this conflict. He walked over to the shot gun racked and picked out his favorite hunting rifle and loaded it. He knew this was the perfect time to do this because Martha was out in town gathering groceries for the week. He ran out to his truck and got in and headed to the Luthor house. He arrived and barged through the doors. He went straight to the living room and saw Lex in there. Lex looked up with no expression on his face thinking it was one of the security guards or a maid. He looked up and saw Jonathon pointing a shot gun in his face. “Lex, you took away my son’s life and now it’s time I took away yours.” That was the last thing Lex heard before he heard the shot gun fire and Lex blacked out spiraling into death. Jonathon grunted as he looked down at Lex’s body. He stormed out of the house and got in his truck to head to Metropolis. About halfway across the highway he felt the ground shake. He quickly served the truck so it wouldn’t flip. He was surprised; he’s never had an earthquake here in Kansas. About an hour and a half after the incident he arrived in Metropolis. He quickly headed to the Luthor apartment building and walked in. The doorman looked up and cried out when he saw a man barge in holding a shot gun. Jonathon pointed the shotgun at the doorman’s head and told him to hand him a key to Lex’s Suite. The doorman quickly bent downward and picked up a spare and gave it to Jonathon. Jonathon traveled up the elevator and used the key on the door and barged in. Van wasn’t even facing the door’s direction. “Lex, back so soon? Decided to kick me out? It’d be a shame if the world found out what you did.”
Jonathon grunted once and stuck the barrel’s tip against the man’s head. “You killed my son, and now you’re going to know what death feels like.” Van looked upward and gasped in horror. It was the Kent’s kid farther. He closed his eyes knowing what was going to come next. Jonathon began squeezing the trigger when he heard a voice and released it. “Jonathon, no!” Jonathon turned at that voice and saw Clark standing at the door way wearing the tux that he was outfitted in for his funeral. Jonathon rubbed his eye once to make sure he wasn’t delusional and dropped the shot gun and ran over to Clark and started to cry into Clark’s shoulder.

A quick fix of information for this update.
Alicia Baker died in Belle Reeve from constant electro-shock testing.

Van just stared wildly at the scene that was unfolding in front of him. Clark Kent was somehow alive. There was no way that could be possible. He saw Clark die, he even saw Clark at his own funeral! He knew he had to think quickly if he wanted to stay out of police’s way. He quickly shoved his hand into the bowl where he kept his extra meteorite bullets and grabbed a handful. He then chucked them over at the two while they were still hugging and expected Clark to fall over in agony as the meteorites coursed through him. The bullets just harmlessly bounced off Jonathon Kent’s back and hit the ground with a thud. Clark saw Van throw something so he supersped over to Van and knocked him out. Clark turned to his dad to see what Van threw to notice his dad staring at the floor. “Jor-El wasn’t kidding… he really did destroy all the kryptonite in Smallville. Wait, it’s the thirtieth day that must have been what that earthquake was.” Clark was slightly confused at what Jonathon was talking about. “You talked to Jor-El after I died dad? And what do you mean by destroyed all the kryptonite?” Jonathon just pointed at the objects on the ground which Clark identified as clear bullets. He’d never seen anything like them. “Those must have been Van’s supply of kryptonite bullets, now they’re harmless. Did Jor-El know this was going to happen? Why would he lead us on the way he did about you being truly dead? Son, I need to go back to Smallville and talk to Jor-El.” Clark just nodded and supersped to the truck and they both hopped in. The three hours journey was spent in complete silence as thoughts spread through their head. Once Jonathon got close to Smallville he noticed an orange mist that has engulfed the entire town. He just shook it off thinking of it having something to do with the humidity.

Clark asked him to drop him off in front of the Talon so Jonathon did and drove on home. Clark got out of the truck and stood in front of the Talon’s doors. He told himself that he merely wanted to go in there since it was the most popular hangout in the town. But in the back of his subconscious he knew it was actually another reason. He straightened out his tie and let in a big breath before releasing it. He opened the doors and walked in knowing there was no going back now.

Lana was busy filling up a man’s coffee when she heard the bell signaling that a costumer has walked in. She was about to head back and fill up her coffee pot when the entire room went from a loud chatter to a complete silence. Not any silence, but a tense one. She wondered what sort of costumer could cause this to happen so she curiously lifted her head to see who it was. What she saw though was the last person she expected to ever walk through those doors again. She dropped her coffee pot and it shattered spilling coffee all over the floor but no one even turned a head at the sound. All eyes were concentrated on the man standing at the door. There he was, standing in his funeral suit with an unkempt amount of hair and he was standing there smiling at her. She felt as tears started to flow from her eyes and ran over to the man standing at the door and wrapped her arms around him and started to cry. She felt him warmly embrace her and hold onto her tightly while her tears rolled down his jacket. How she missed his embrace, his ability to make her feel safe just by wrapping his arms around her. She thought she would never feel it again.

She sat there for a few minutes just crying into his shoulder before backing away and giving him an once-over. She couldn’t believe that he was standing in front of her, like he never died. She had a million questions to ask him but knew she’d never be able to spit them out right here in front of everyone. She grabbed his hand and tugged on it. That was when she noticed that he was still wearing the class ring. ‘Odd the orange color is now… glowing?’ She just shook it off and pulled him up the stairs to ask him all the questions that were flowing around inside of her.

Jonathon looked at the key once more before deciding that he was going to put it into the key and tell Jor-El everything running through his mind. He wanted to know why Jor-El hid the fact that Clark was going to survive this and all it took was a damn rock to do it! Jonathon was fuming at the mouth. He so wished Jor-El was a physical being so he could break his teeth. He just sighed and pushed all those thoughts from his mind and walked into the cave in the direction of the keyhole. He felt once again as the key pulled it’s self from his grasp and entered the keyhole. Jonathon Kent felt the familiar tingling sensation as the blue light traveled through him. “Jonathon Kent, what brings you back to me?”
“Don’t play games with me Jor-El! I don’t know what type of mind tricks you have up your sleeve but Clark is not going to fall into your hands and conquer the world or whatever that destiny crap you say you have planned for him!”
“Jonathon Kent, I’m afraid you have gone delusional. Kal-El is dead. The depression may be having side effects on your mental self.”
“I said not to play games with me Jor-El! How can you explain Clark coming back to life? The orange mist surrounding Smallville after the meteor rock you sent to destroy the kryptonite? The fact that his red kryptonite has somehow turned into an orange kryptonite ring?!” Jonathon sat there for a second wondering why Jor-El hasn’t suddenly answered. “Did you say orange kryptonite Jonathon Kent?”
“Yes I did.”
“Bring Kal-El to me, quickly.”
Jonathon felt himself thrown out of the blue loop of energy and onto the ground of the cave. He knew that he shouldn’t trust Jor-El, but for some odd reason he had a nagging feeling that this orange kryptonite was a lot more powerful then anything else they’ve ever seen. He left and got into his truck to head to the Talon.

Lex gingerly stood up and rubbed the back of his head. He didn’t know what was going on. The last thing he recalled was Jonathon Kent storming in and holding a shot gun against his skull before pulling the trigger. There was no way anyone could have survived that. He didn’t even feel a scratch on his head. It was as smooth as ever. He looked around the room and then looked downward noticing the blood caked on the floor. It must have been his; there was no way he’d be laying in someone else’s blood. He searched his entire body for a wound and found nothing. He’s had some near-death encounters where he should have died, but this has to take the cake. There’s no way he should have survived a shot gun blast to the head from point blank range. His blood was even caked into the floor. It was almost as if his wounds simply healed up in a matter of… he didn’t even know how long it’s been. He checked his clock and noticed it’s only been seven hours. His body completely healed in seven hours. Healed from death. He’s risen from the grave.

Clark finished telling his tale about what happened in Metropolis, what he did, his death, and today when he suddenly woke up from it. Lana just sat there with tears soaking her cheeks and nodding at him. She explained to him about how she went to Metropolis to find him and instead found his body in his apartment bleeding to death. She said she’s never felt more scared or sad in her life. Clark felt another burst of tears were about to come onto Lana’s face so he bent foreword and wrapped his arms around her. He began to lightly rub her back and he felt her face rest in the nook of his neck. After a few minutes she took her face out of its resting spot and faced Clark. “Clark, you really don’t know how much you’ll miss someone until they’re gone. It’s something I’ve learned since you left.” She started to lean forward at this notion and Clark just responded, “Yeah, there are some people gone from my life I’ll never forget.” Clark began to lean forward too. “Does that include me?” They both snapped out of it and lurched backward. They looked up to see who could have caused the intrusion and both couldn’t believe what they saw. There was Alicia Baker leaning against a pillar in Lana’s apartment.

Seeing a dead Alicia return, it looks like the crystal did a "reset" on all that had happened as a result of the meteor rocks. Does that mean that all the meteor freaks will be returning, along with their victims, as if nothing had ever happened?

But Jor-El is genuinely surprised by the return of Clark, and of the orange stone. Does this mean that Clark was never to be part of the reset, or is the reset itself a complete surprise to Jor-El.

Anyway, shooting Lex, even if it wasn't permanent, must have felt good to Jonathan. And the fact that he "died" should have a profound effect on Lex and whether he will want to continue his plotting. A very good friend of mine - a disabled combat vet - always says that there's nothing that'll calm a man down faster than a bullet.

Clark just sat there dumbfounded, ‘What are the chances two people come back from the dead in the same day?’ He quickly stood up and wrapped his arms around Alicia. “Alicia, I didn’t think I’d ever see you again, I thought you, you…”
“Died?”
“Yeah, well it doesn’t matter now I’m just so happy you’re alive!” Clark gave her a slight squeeze and Lana finally spoke up. “Wow, two people resurrect from the dead in the same day. What are the chances?” Alicia flashed a confused look on her face for a second. “Two people?”
“Yeah, Clark just got up from the last slumber tonight too.”
“Clark, you died? But how could you die… I thought-“ Lana noticed Clark fire a warning glance at Alicia and she immediately shut up. Lana hated being in the unknowns of Clark’s secret. She didn’t know why Clark wouldn’t just tell her, it’s what slowly ripped apart their relationship. Alicia just put her face in Clark’s chest and smiled securely. Lana was about to make an excuse to leave because she felt very uncomfortable in this situation when Jonathon walked into the room. She saw Jonathon’s eyes glance around from Lana to Clark then to who Clark was holding. “Clark, I need you to come with me, right now. It’s urgent.” Clark released Alicia and just looked over at his dad. He could note the look of impatience waiting on his face so he quickly complied. “Ok dad, I’m coming.”

They rode in mostly silence. Clark was afraid that his dad would ask how Alicia was there, how could she be alive. He was relieved and partially confused when they arrived at the caves. His dad and biological father have never been exactly, what he would call friends. Jonathon just gave Clark the key and told him he needed to go speak to Jor-El. Clark sighed and walked into the caves and over to where he would insert the key. He placed the key in the slot and Jor-El immediately spoke out to him. “Son, it is true, you are alive.”
“Yes I am Jor-El, what do you want?”
“Son, lift up your right hand.” Clark was slightly confused at Jor-El wanting him to lift up his hand but did as he was told to. “Kal-El, this is amazing. Your stone has been transformed into the orange form.”
“What is so special about this certain color father?”
“Kal-El, the orange stone represents life and death. It is the rarest of all forms of kryptonite. The user who has created it controls the life of himself and all those affected by the kryptonian stones. As long as the creator of the stone lives, the ones affected by the stones, the ones you humans so bluntly call ‘meteor freaks’ live also.”
“Are you telling me that everyone affected by the kryptonite now possess the same seemingly immortality as I do?”
“Almost my son, there has been only one other person to ever create this form of kryptonite, a scientist I befriended by the name of Yal-Nk. It was during the great destruction of our planet. He was busy working on finding a way to stop someone by the name of General Zod from enslaving our planet. General Zod was able to discover that the only thing keeping the planet from its ultimate destruction was Yal-Nk and his orange stone. General Zod immediately sent him to the Phantom Zone, a ghastly prison and being in it somehow neutralized the power of the stone leading to the final days of our planet.”
“General Zod, Phantom Zone?”
“Son, come back in a week’s time and I will have all the information waiting for you.”
Clark felt himself thrown back onto the floor of the caves and walked out with a million thoughts swarming through his head.

Well, most of my questions regarding the orange-k were certainly answered. But is continuing life on our planet now dependent on Clark, or was that some peculiarity of what happened with Yal-Nk?

But it suddenly seems like Lana has questions and doubts of her own, especially some concerning a very cute blonde. ;)

At this point, I'm sure Clark is actually looking forward to meeting Jor-El in a week...

The only lifes that are dependent on the orange-k are the lifes of people affected by the meteor rocks(aka meteor freaks) and Kryptoians that are on planet Earth.

Clark looked around before relaxing and taking a sip of his coffee. It only took the town three days for the sudden occurrence of a couple of people who have died over the past few years to pop up suddenly in town to fade from their mind and for them to move on to the next great wonder of Smallville. You know you’re in a peculiar town when rising from the dead seems to be as common as a car accident. Clark looked over and saw Lana busy working behind the counter. He smiled at seeing her work; even in work garb she still looked incredible, more then incredible, breath-taking. He sat there and tapped his foot on the floor. The Talon revenue jumped 30% ever since Clark came back. Not only did people want to know how he raised from the dead, but what caused him to run to Metropolis and become a fugitive in the first place. He just gave them all a soft shrug and they moved on to their next set of business. A lot of people were spending more time indoors, so that was helping the revenue since The Talon was unofficially the most popular indoor hangout in the town. It seems a little orange mist that hasn’t vanished has gotten a few people spooked.

Lana sighed as her shift finally ended and wiped her sweaty forehead on her apron. She’s always wanted this place to be popular, but ever since it has it’s been a jungle. She can’t step aside for a moment without people complaining about their coffees being empty. She looked over and smiled when she saw Clark sitting by himself. She started walking in the direction of the chair sitting across from him when a blonde quickly nabbed the chair. She backed away when she saw Alicia walk in and sit across from Clark. Clark smiled at her and she gave him a big flirtatious grin back. A frown came across Lana’s face and she turned around and went back into the supply closet to take her break there.

Clark looked up when he heard someone sit down across from him hoping that it was Lana wanting to talk to him, but frowned when he noticed it was only Alicia. He thought Alicia was great and all, but he just felt more of a connection with Lana. Alicia thankfully didn’t notice his frown and he looked up and flashed her a smile before looking over his shoulder to notice that Lana disappeared. ‘Probably is still angry about me leaving suddenly on her and decided to skip over me on the way out.’ He sighed once before engaging in a conversation with Alicia. After about twenty minutes she told him she needed to go somewhere and walked out the door.

Clark left soon afterward and headed to the Luthor mansion. He waltzed in and grinned when he saw Lex in his office facing the other direction filing something. Must have not heard Clark walk in. Clark wondered what Lex would do when he heard his supposedly dead best friend talk to him. “Heya Lex.” Lex just turned and gave the once-over that Clark was now accustomed to receiving after his resurrection. “So it’s true, the farm boy pulled a Jesus. How’d you do it Clark?” Clark just chuckled, it seemed nothing ever fazed Lex Luthor. “I really don’t know, dead one day, alive the next. This town does have its share of oddities.” Lex just nodded and turned back to his files and began to shuffle through them. Clark turned away and looked around the room and noticed a rug on the floor he’s never seen before. Not only that but he noticed a something red caked under it. Some sort of thick liquid that must of caked when it dried. He curiously walked over to the rug and lifted it up and gasped at what he saw, there was what seemed to be a gallon of blood under this thing. Lex turned when he saw Clark gasp and saw Clark looking under his rug that he placed over the blood. Lex gulped and immediately thought of an excuse. “Clark, I’m sure your dad told you Van McNulty was at my apartment suite in Metropolis?” Clark just nodded wondering where this was going. “Well Clark, the only way he would of gotten that key would have been through me, the only way he would of gone through me would be to be err.. how to best describe it, ‘persuasive’.”
“Why didn’t you just call the police Lex?”
“He is a bit more cunning then the police, I’d be dead by the time they arrived at the apartment and he would have been long gone.” Clark left soon after that and once he was gone Lex narrowed his eyebrows. He was going have to be a lot more cunning this time around to make sure Clark doesn’t resurrect once again.

Clark sat on his couch up in the loft staring up at the stars thinking of all that’s happened in the past few days. He heard soft steps and heels coming up his stairs so he knew it must be a female. He thought it was probably just Alicia trying to push herself closer to him again when he heard a soft voice that he was dieing to hear. “Clark, I wanted to come by and ask you how you’re doing.” Clark stood up and walked near Lana. Her beauty always seemed to mesmerize him and this time was no different. “I’m doing just, just fine Lana.” Lana leaned closer to him and stared him up in the eyes with a look that he couldn’t recognize. “Clark, I know things haven’t been too great between us since your disappearance and all, but I need to know something.” Clark let in a big breath of air. ‘Was she really going to ask him what he thought she was?’ “What’s that, Lana?”
“Clark, I just want to know…do you still love me?” Clark just let out a big breath of air and looked down at her and smiled. “Of course Lana, I could never stop loving you.” She looked away for a moment and then looked up at him straight in the eyes. “Clark… that wasn’t really the answer I wasn’t looking for because-“ She gulped once. “I don’t love you anymore.”

Clark stood dumbfounded as he watched Lana turn on her heels and walk down the steps without another word. He couldn’t believe what just happened. ‘Did she really say that? Did she really mean that?’ He just kept rooted to the spot where he was standing when he heard heels coming up the steps again. He hoped it was Lana coming back to say she was sorry and didn’t mean it. Instead, it was Alicia who he noticed looked great in her plaid skirt. He gave her an once-over and she noticed him doing that, “Are you checking me out Mr. Kent?” she said in a flirty tone. He just grinned and responded, “There’s something I’ve wanted to ask you since you came back Alicia.”
“What’s that Clark?” He just walked over to her and gave her a soft kiss on the lips. She wrapped her arms around his waist and pulled him closer and they engaged into a deeper kiss. After a while they finally pulled out and they both grinned sheepishly at each other. “Of course, Clark.” Was all she could say.

Lana straightened up her blouse and looked at her hair once more before walking downstairs to the main floor of the Talon. She hadn’t seen Clark since yesterday afternoon here and when she came out of her break room he was gone. She decided that today she was going to tell him how much she’s really missed him since he vanished. She smiled when she saw him walk in and was about to walk over to him when she froze in her path at what she saw. It made her face completely drain pale and freeze in horror. Right after Clark arrived Alicia came in behind him and tapped him on his shoulder. He grinned and turned around and gave her a big kiss before interlacing his fingers into hers.
She stood there and saw Clark and Alicia approaching her and she quickly snapped out of her trance and put on a fake smile. Clark just walked right by her brushing his shoulder against her body and not even saying sorry like he usually does. She frowned at that, it seemed he was angry. ‘Did I do something to make Clark angry?’ Her face became tightlipped when she saw the way Alicia looked down at her. In a way that said, Ha ha, I got him first, you lose! She could see the taunting in Alicia’s eyes and she just ran upstairs into her room and shut the door.

Lex checked his clock for the fifth time in the past hour. Lana was over forty-five minutes late. She should have delivered the Talon’s payroll already. He looked forward to this time every week; it was one of the few times that Lana visited his house not asking for help or with Clark a week. Lana never missed the payroll delivery so he hopped into his Porsche and drove to the Talon. He walked in and noticed Clark and Alicia Baker engaged in a staring contest with their hands wrapped over each others. He raised his eyebrow at seeing this knowing that Clark always had his heart set on Lana and wondered why he would suddenly flip to Alicia so quickly. As much as he hated to break up their little fun he walked over to them, “Clark, have you seen Lana lately? She didn’t deliver the payroll today.” Clark just glanced up at Lex with a dull emotionless face that Lex has never seen Clark use when Lana was mentioned. “No Lex, I have not see Lana. I do not know where she is nor do I care.” He quickly returned his gaze to Alicia’s eyes and smiled. Lex was taken aback at what Clark said and wondered what happened.

He walked upstairs to where her apartment was and knocked twice. He got no response so he placed his ear on the door. He could hear a faint sniffling and decided to walk in. “Lana? Lana?” She was sitting on the floor looking over a picture album and he could tell she’s been crying for a while due to her blotchy and red cheeks. She looked up when she heard him calling her name and stuffed all the pictures in the album and shut it. “Lex, Lex… oh I’m sorry about not delivering the payroll. I was kinda busy.” Lex just gave her a big smile and walked over to her and sat down on the floor next to her. “Don’t worry about Lana, mind telling me what’s wrong?” She just shook her head and wiped her sleeve on her cheeks. Lex wrapped his arm around her back and began rubbing it and he pulled her closer. Lana felt her head fall into the cushion of Lex’s chest and didn’t pull away. She actually felt comfort in him, he was always there for her even when they hit a rough patch he would still be there to comfort her. They sat like that for a while before Lex sighed and told her he had to leave. Lex grabbed the payroll and walked out the door. He walked downstairs and went to his Porsche. He was about to unlock the door when he heard Lana walk up behind him. He turned around and she was standing there behind him. “Lex you forgot something.” He raised his eyebrow raking through his mind anything he could of left and couldn’t think of anything. “What’s that Lana?” She walked up to him and gave him a slight peck on the lips and ran back into the Talon and ran back into her apartment. Lex just turned and smiled. He always knew this day would one day come. Only two more things to do before his life was complete and Clark’s already died once, he surely can die again.

Muhahahah! The story continues to twist out of control.... :D

Surprising update, yet...

Wait, wait, wait. The timing of the events is all wrong. Lana remembered things Clark obviously didn't do, the same way she doesn't remember blowing off Clark . . . somebody is playing the two of them - maybe a shaperchanger? Did our friend Tina Greer also return?

How can this be fixed? ;)

Hmmm, can you give me a quote on what you're talking about? I've scanned my last two updates a couple of times and can't seem to figure it out... Sometimes I don't know my own stories! :rotfl:

Sorry if I implied something you never intended, but examples:

Lana at the Talon not remembering that she told Clark that she no longer loved him previously at the loft (she hadn't seen him since the precious day at the Talon).

The way Clark was acting the next day - I don't think he would have given Alicia the kiss at the Talon or just brush by Lana without a word.

Why was Lana so distraught if she had just dumped Clark?

I thought Tina messing things up was what you intended. :\

Well that was just an angry and surprised Clark, but all the Lana things I intended. Just thought you were saying I was making Clark all screwy, but he deserves to be angry at times. :D

:( I just wanted to make the story better by adding drama. :(

Excuse me for my fellow reader's rude comment. But seriously hon, I don't think Clana fans can take much more drama after the very gross and disgusting ending of Season five. Just wrap up the drama and give the reader's an explanation in the story for why everything is so screwy and we will be fine. Don't let the coments put you down, we are all just a little uptight over the Lexana(gross). I mean isn't it bad enough that they broke up Clana, but they had to put Lana with the evil baldy.

Ok here's the finale of the story...

Clark and Lana run into each other at the Talon, they stare at each other for a few seconds and both exclaim they love each other and start making out. Next thing you know they have 19 kids and they live happily ever after!

~Actually, that's not the end. But, if you wish, you can make it the end. :D

Update more soon!

Chloe shuffled into the doors of the Torch and shut it behind her locking it. She leaned against the door and let out a big sigh. Ever since everyone started resurrecting the town’s gone haywire. It all started this morning when someone was walking down the street and got nailed by a car that was going at least sixty miles per hour. The odd thing was, the person just got up dusted off and walked off like nothing happened. Ever since that happened the town’s been on the fritz. There have been three robberies in one day. The stores were basically emptying out their cash registers for the robbers whose bodies seem impenetrable. That scratched her theory that it was all about the meteor freaks because she knew a couple of the robbers had nothing to do with meteor rocks. She just sighed again and cautiously checked the hall to make sure it was safe. She ran out to her car wondering why she was going to go to his house. They pretty much hated each other, he tried to kill Clark, so what was she expecting?

She arrived and parked her Beetle outside of the gates and chuckled as she pressed the button on the as usual vacant security post. For all of Lex’s money, he doesn’t seem to be able to hire a security force that actually works. She easily walked into his house and was about to enter the living room when she heard shouting. “I told you to break the two up. Now you’re spending your days robbing every store in Smallville?”
“Look, it’s not me. It’s probably Tina. I got Tina to help me. She’s a psycho so I don’t really know what to expect from her.”
“Tina’s alive? She’s insane; she needs to be locked up!” Chloe couldn’t believe the conversation that was going on. She hit the speed dial that was the Kent’s Residence and when she heard Clark’s voice she sighed in relief. “Clark, I’m…” She felt a hand on her shoulder and turned to see Tina staring straight at her. “Bad move Sullivan.” Tina was about to karate chop Chloe when Chloe shouted out, “Luthor Mansion, help me!” and that was the last thing she said before she felt the blow connect and the world go black.

Clark looked at his phone once wondering what just happened. Chloe sounded like she was in serious trouble and then the line just went dead. Someone must have approached her and got her away from her cell. It sounded like she was at the Luthor Mansion. Clark immediately went to panic for a friend mode and supersped over to the Luthor mansion. He checked the gate and it looked fine and then ran inside. He heard muffled voices from inside of the living room and rushed into that room. He looked down and saw Chloe and Alicia wrapped against chairs with their mouths taped over. Chloe was out cold but Alicia wasn’t. He started walking over to Alicia to take off her tape when he felt the sick sensation of a meteor rock weakening him. He looked over and saw Tina standing over Lex’s still body and she was grinning as she held out a meteor rock and walked toward him. He gasped. “Why, why do you do this Tina?”
“Kent, you’ve been ruining my precious life when Lana for too long. I had fun pretending to be Lana and telling you she didn’t love you anymore. Ha, your face was priceless when I said that Kent! Now that I did what Alicia asked me to do, Lana’s already moved onto a new guy. I came here to kill Lex Luthor now that he’s taken my precious Lana away for himself but now I can kill two birds with two stones. Oh this is going be a blast!” She smirked and stabbed Clark in the chest with the meteor rock breaking a tiny fragment off in his skin. She then punched him in the face and felt the world going black. He heard a muffled scream before the world completely disappeared on him.

Great update!

Bad for our heroes, but still, Clark now knows the truth about Lana.

I was glad to see it was what I was hoping, at least with the imitation of Lana by Tina.

If I were Clark, I'd wait on the rescue until after Lex has been taken care of...

Sorry I haven't updated for a couple of days guys, I've been busy car shopping. I think I may of found one I like, so I should be done with that soon.

I found two cars I'm stuck on, a Lexus ES 330 with a custom sound system and a big navigation screen or an Infiniti G35 Coupe with a custom rim and wheel package. Why can't I just have both? :rotfl:
