Alright since you guys liked the first episode I decided I'll put up the 2nd episode starting Friday. But here is a synopsis to tide you guys over until then :).

Synopsis: Drake's brother comes to town for a visit. But is it more then that? Also Becca and Drake go to dinner at Becca's house where Drake must meet her mom. And more :D

ACT 1

INT. DEREK CONRAD'S CONVERTABLE-EARLY MORNING

Derek Conrad drove down the road seeing familiar buildings now flying buy him. Yet he was glad to be home. Kansas had been fun but there was still nothing like Florida plus it was a lot warmer.

Derek was the oldest Conrad son and he had moved out a few years back and found a girl at college and they'd gotten engaged. Until a few months ago when she.....

Suddenly his cell phone rang.

Derek(picking up his cell phone and answering it confused)
Hello?

Suddenly a strange voice answered it sounded like a some computerized voice.

Voice
Hello Derek.

Derek
You again?

Voice
You remember me,I'm flattered.

Derek
Cut to the chase.

Voice
Alright,well we're in need of your services again.

Derek(now a bit angry)
What is the job?

Voice
I need you to "borrow" a little something from the museum.

Derek
What museum?

Voice
Don't play dumb with me I know everything about you and your family remember. Also know that your going home for some "alone time" yet I know your still searching for your precious Jodie so if you don't do this for me looks like you won't get the new clues I have on her whereabouts. But if you do the job for me you'll get your reward.

Derek(calmed down now)
Alright,what am I "borrowing"?

Voice
Your borrowing the most expensive item in the place or at least it is to my...employer.
It's some egyptian medallion.

So do we have a deal?

Derek(glancing toward his parents house and parking in the driveway)
Yes.

INT.CONRAD HOUSE

Drake heard the doorbell ring as he walked downstairs.

He opened the door sleepily but was suprised to see his brother. Derek was a bit early.

Drake(awake now)
Hey Derek,what's up?

Derek walks in and punches Drake's arm softly.

Derek
Hey little bro so where are mom and dad?

Drake
Where were they always on a Sunday morning?

Derek
Kitchen,reading the paper.

Drake
Yep.

Derek then walked by Drake into the kitchen.

Drake noticed his brother hadn't changed much still cool as ice and still way better looking any girl would still be going mad for him if he wasn't with someone.

Also he still was into wearing solid colors and he had on a red long sleeve shirt and jeans.

But it was in the 80's outside. But that's what he gets for living up north for a few years.

Also he still had that same light brown hair and this time a short beard the same color.

Drake shook his head smiling as he followed his brother into the kitchen.

But before Drake got very far his cell rang. Mustv'e forgotten to take it out've his jeans after he changed out've his dance clothes last night.

He glanced at the number. It was Becca he'd better take this.

But before he answered Becca's call he saw a weird disk on the ground,what could that be?

Drake slipped it into his pocket and turned back to the phone after the call he'd check it out.

INT. CONRAD HOUSE-LIVING ROOM

Drake answered his phone hearing Becca's voice.

Becca(over the phone)
Hello?

Drake
Hey

Becca
Hey Drake,last night was a blast.

Drake
Thanks.

Becca
But I was wondering if you'd like to met my mom to make this dating thing a bit better for us.

Drake
Well alright but if she kills me it your fault.

Becca(laughing)
I don't think she'll kill you maybe rough you up a bit.

Drake(sarcastically)
That makes me feel so much better. But Becca I'm gonna go I've forgotten my brother was here.

Becca
Alright Drake...oh and dinner is at my house around 7 if that's cool with you.

Drake
Yeah sounds fine I'll get a ride over there tonight.

Becca
Alright I'll see ya then. Bye.

Drake heard Becca hang up and he placed his cell phone back in his pocket.

Then he remembered the disk in his pocket.

He pulled it out and looked it over. It was a sleek black disk and rectangular shaped like a regular floppy. Yet it had a strange red insignia on it.

Weird,what was the symbol?

Suddenly Drake heard someone and placed the disk back into his pocket.

Derek walked up behind him.

Derek
So Drakey were you talking with your girlfriend?
Don't worry mom and dad,mostly dad,told me about Becca.

Drake
Well yeah as a matter of fact. She invited me to dinner.

Derek
Man dinner already. This girl must really like you.

Drake
Yeah and I like her too.

Derek
Do you really? I remember before I moved out you were just beginning to crush on that redhead.

Drake
Rachel? No Becca is my girlfriend now.

Derek
Alright little bro. Hey I got a few errands to run but I'll be back.

Drake
Alright,but hey maybe I could come with you.

Derek(looking a bit nervous)
No,you don't have to if you don't want to.

Drake(a bit suspicious yet not letting on he is)
Let me come I can help you get those errands done faster.

Derek(sighing)
Alright,come on.

Then Drake and Derek walk out to Derek's red convertable and hop in and Derek starts up the car and soon the car is out've sight.

INT.CONRAD HOUSE-KITCHEN

Carlos and Alicia sat in the kitchen.

Alicia(after sipping some coffee)
I think the boys are gone.

Carlos(putting down the paper)
Really,well I guess we can chat then.

Alicia(smiling messing with her black hair a little)
I guess so.

Carlos
Well how's work going?

Alicia
It's going alright but the mutant thing is swamping us and all the tv networks too. But the good news is I've heard I might be getting my own tv show.

Carlos
Wow tv,at least I get to tell my teacher buddies Hey guys my wife's on tv what about yours?

Alicia(smiling)
Your gonna use me for bragging rights,you're bad.

Carlos
Sometimes I can be.

Then Alicia sat back and glanced at old pictures of the boys together. A few from one of the many Disneyworld trips.

One inparticular was always Alicia's favorite.

It had Drake and Derek in it and Drake was a cute two year old and Derek was a strong looking ten year old and they stood close to Disney Castle Derek holding Drake close and they were both grinning well Drake was grinning about the ice cream he had but it was still a prety good picture.

Then Alicia just spoke what was on her mind.

Alicia
Do you think the boys are doing alright? I mean I have a feeling I'm a bit of a bad mom I mean how many other mom's work pretty much everyday?

Carlos(smirking)
Quite a few mom's work everyday hon. But the boys are great so far either I or you must be rubbing off on them. But you better at least get a mom's day with Drake I think I'm rubbing off on him a bit too much.

Alicia(smiling)
Alright.

Then the two parents smiled and kissed.

Carlos(saying jokingly)
So do you think we should have another kid since we enjoy the other two?

Alicia(smiling jokingly)
Nah........

Then they both laughed glancing at a few old pictures.

INT. WAREHOUSE

A few thugs were inside a darkened rom barely lit up with one lightbulb. And a gaunt brown haired man sat in a chair behind a desk that seemed strangely out've place inside an old warehouse.

Suddenly a phone rang.

And the man in the chair otherwise known to his "friends" as Weaver answered.

Weaver
Hello?

A low voice answered,it was Tony his spy.

Tony
Boss I saw Derek's car looks like he's gonna try and get that thing for ya.

Weaver
Alright thanks for the tip Tony. I think I'll send some guys over there to make sure he does what he was told.
Thanks again Tony.

Then Weaver heard Tony hang up.

Then Weaver spun his chair around and he picked out about 5 people some of his best.

Weaver
You guys go to the Millten museum. And if Derek doesn't do what he's told...punish him.

ACT 3

EXT.MILLTEN MUSEUM-AROUND NOON

Drake and Derek had reached the museum no problem since it was Sunday. Yet Drake wondered if he should confront his brother about the disk. Also what errand could Derek be running at a museum?

But Derek just walked inside. Drake followed him into the huge metallic building but he thought he saw a few guys behind them in gray. But he looked again and there was no one there.

It must've been his imagination.

INT.MILLTEN MUSEUM

As the two walked inside they saw the huge bonelike structure of a T-rex and some other fossils and such.


Drake
Looks like the dino exhibits in town.

Derek
Yeah looks that way. Hey buddy could you stay here while I ppick up something in the Egyptian exhibit over there.

Derek pointed off to where he was going and Drake saw the small pyramids around acorner and also a gold plated sphinx statue.


Drake (still covering his suspicion)
Alright but I wish I could go in there and maybe get something for Becca.


Derek
No,I mean....I'll pick something out for her okay. You just stay out here I'll be back any minute.

Drake
Alright.

Then Derek walked off into the Egyptian exhibit.

Suddenly Derek was pulled into the shadows of the exhibit by a man in gray.

Derek
Let go I'm doing what the boss wants.

The man let go and nodded.

Derek
What's up with you can't you talk?

Man in gray
Yes. It just makes my assassin job easier if I don't talk.

Derek
Oh okay well at least let me do my job.

Man in gray
Alright but we're waiting outside. And if anyone sees you we've been ordered to kill.

Derek
No one will see me.

Then Derek pushed past the man in gray and walked into the empty Egyptian exhibit. He turned to see if the man had followed but he had vanished as suddenly as he'd appeared.

Then Derek spotted the object he was looking for. It was in a glass container surrounded by mummies and a basket full of fake yet colorful looking burial jars.

Derek smirked as he passed the basket $2.00 for a cheapy jar. Tisk tisk.

Suddenly Derek looked at a jar he could use this.

He grinned and slipped one into his pocket then he waltzed over to the glass case quietly. And he tapped the door causing the door to fly open.

Then he grabbed the necklace and placedthe jar inside.

The security system wouldn't know the difference this jar was around the same size as the necklace.

Then as Derek made his way out to the exit of the exhibit he glanced at his prize. It was an odd looking thing the neckalce was a deep bronze color and attached to the band was a rather large golden looking disk with a stone in one of four slots.

One was green,another blue,and the final two white and black.

Then he placed it around his neck and hid part of it under his shirt.

And soon he was out and walking about the dinosaur exhibit.

Drake walked over to him soon after.

Drake
So where is the trinket you said you'd get me?

Derek
Oh there was nothing in there I thought she'd like,sorry.

Now Drake was a bit suspicious.

Derek suddenly broke the silence though.

Derek
Okay now lets get going home for lunch.

Drake
Home already,well your the boss.

Now Drake was very suspicious at this point and he saw an odd bronze band around part of Derek's neck.

Suddenly as they were at the door Derek dropped his keys by accident and as he bent down to get them Drake saw a strange medallion.

Drake(shocked)
Woah,what's that Derek?

Derek (looking down)
It's nothing.

Drake(now angry)
There is no way that that is nothing. This was the "errand" wasn't it you came here to steal that.

Derek(sadly)
I'm sorry Drake I'm doing this to save Jodie and I won't let you stand in my way. I have to save her.

Then Drake stared at his brother and he saw Derek's eyes shift to a golden yellow.

Then suddenly Derek pushed Drake sending Drake flying out the museum door onto the top of a truck and Drake looked up and saw his brother was....gone.

ACT 4

EXT. MUSEUM PARKING LOT

Drake struggled to his feet his head pounding he felt like...well... he got hit into a truck.

Suddenly he spotted something famiiar on the ground he picked it up.

It was the disk it's familiar insignia gleaming in the sun.

Drake smiled and put the disk in his pocket again.

Now he knew what he had to do.

First he was going back home to use his laptop. Then he'd save his brother.

EXT. OLD MILLTEN WAREHOUSE

Derek had left with the men outside quick as a flash. But now it was time to see Weaver.

Yet Derek still wore the medallion around his neck just in case Weaver tried a double cross.

Soon Derek and the others were inside.

INT. OLD MILLTEN WAREHOUSE

Derek then walked until he rached a small room in the place.

Suddenly a light clicked on and he saw Weaver again.

Derek(smiling)
Hey long time no see bud.

Weaver(tossing a piece of a cigarette to the floor then crushing it with his shoe)
Yeah yeah. But enough small talk did you bring it?

Derek pulled the medallion out've his shirt the golden ring and the stones gleamed in the dim lit room.


INT. CONRAD HOUSE-DRAKE'S ROOM

Drake looked at the disk on his laptop and found blueprints for the museum and a bunch of other stores,shops,even banks.

Man Derek sure could run with the wrong crowd when he wanted too.

Suddenly as Drake was about to give up he accidently clicked a small map looking sign and a large map showing these gangs hideouts appeared.

Drake smirked and clicked on Florida in one of the many columns on the screen and then a list appeared.

Drake scanned the list. The only one around here was.....a hideout at the old warehouse downtown.

Then Drake got up from his desk and shut his computer off. He glanced at his clock and sighed.

It was almost time for his date. He sighed and turned to the phone but turned toward the stairs instead and ran towards the front door.

He had to save his brother becasue if he didn't he oculdn't live with himself.

It took Drake a while to get down town after he'd left he had to take the bus most if not all the way. Luckily he had plenty of money to give the driver. But is was all the money he'd been saving for that video game,oh well.

Also as he got to downtown is was just starting to get dark which would be perfect for him and his powers.

Drake crept toward the warehouse and saw a few guards around the outside. Each held a pistol at the ready and were dressed in gray gving them the look of mist in the dark.

Suddenly overhead Drake spotted something that could help. If he could get it down that is.

He made a quick hand gesture to see if he could lift the broken part of the roof.

It was lighter then he had thought but still when he dropped it it hit the guards posted outside knocking them unconsciouss.

Then Drake ran for it and got inside.

Then he worked his way down a long hall until he reached a door.

As he got closer to the door he saw the room had some light thanks to the door that was cracked ever so slightly.

He peered through the crack and saw Derek chatting with some thing guy behind a desk. Then he decided to listen in.

Derek
Alright Weaver you've seen the medallion and it's the real deal. So tell me where Jodie is.

Weaver
Not until you give me the medallion.

Derek(sighing and taking off the medallion)
Here,take it.

The medallion made a thump on the desk.

Weaver(picking up the medallion)
Thanks kid now it's time for your reward,boys get in here.

Suddenly guards were walking toward the door.

Drake swore quietly as he ducked into the shadows.

Luckily the guards didn't see him and walked straight into the room pistols out.

Suddenly Drake heard his brother getting angry and he heard some guards grab for him.


Derek(angry)
What? No tell me where she is Weaver or I swear I'll crush you and your playmates here like grapes.

Weaver(laughing)
You might be that tough kid but we have guns.

And Drake heard the sound of guns loading.

Drake then got up and was wlaking inside when he heard a yelp of a guard and the guard flew through the door creating a big hole in the wood and slamming into some newspapers stacked in the hall.

Drake smiled as he saw his brother had done it.

Maybe now is was time for Drake to help.

Finally got caught up myself, JD. Great follow-up to the pilot :D. I really love the idea as having some of the SV cast take roles in this as well. I can easily picture them saying your dialogue.

Can't wait to see how it ends, man. :cool:

ACT 5

INT. OLD MILLTEN WAREHOUSE-NIGHT

Drake walked into the room just in time to see the last guard fly out've the room and hit into the wood.

But Derek shocked Drake by breaking Weaver's desk and pulling the helpless crimeboss off his feet.

Derek held him fast by the throat and Drake could already see Weaver's face beginning to turn read.

Then suddenly the broken door flew into the room knocking Derek over.

Drake steps into the room.

Drake(softly)
Let him goes he's not worth it.

Derek got up staring at his little brother whose eyes were different as well,a dark red.

Derek then got angry.

Derek
Drake you don't understand I love Jodie and I have to know where she is. I was just gonna rough up that dirt bag a bit.

Drake looked cooly at Derek.

Drake
No I saw you no matter how much you wanted to get info from him you wanted to kill him.

Derek looked at the ground and got up.

Drake
And if you had killed him you would've turned into what you hated most.

Suddenly Drake heard a gun being loaded and saw Weaver holding a pistol aiming it at Derek.

Drake then shoved Derek out've the way. Drake saw the bullet fly and reflexively put his hand out and soon he saw a bulet floating in front of him.

Then it dropped to the ground,useless.

Drake then saw something he could use to his advantage some old rope was in the "office" he called it too him.

As he caught it he felt a bit woozy but managed to steady himself.

He forgot how much practice his still needed with his telekinetic powers.

Then he saw Derek grab him but Drake froze his shadow by touching it. Then he tied Weaver up. Then he let Derek move.

Derek turned to his brother confusion yet thanks in his eyes.

Derek
How did you do all that?

Drake
I'm sort of a...mutant. But what about you last I checked I never saw you throw a full grown guy before.

Derek(smiling)
I guess we're really are brothers. I'm a mutant too.

Suddenly Derek heard Weaver sputter and cough quickly.

Then Drake walked over to Derek and put his hand on Derek's shoulder wanting to calm him a little and keep him steady.

The Derek looked Weaver straight in the face.

Derek
Where is Jodie? And be honest because you definitely don't want two mutants as enemies. You've seem X-Men I'm sure.

Drake smiled watching Weaver squirm a bit.
Suddenly he spoke.

Weaver
Alright,you two got me. Well the guys found Jodie had been sighted around Canada and it seems she's with this guy all the time. He's some tall guy with a scar under his eye and he has...like brown hair or something. That's all I know I swear.

Then Derek walked away toward the door.

Drake followed and smiled at his brother who couldn't help but smile back.

Suddenly sirens were heard outside.

Derek looked at Drake happily.

Derek
You called the cops?

Drake
Yeah I thought we might need some backup.

The two brothers smiled and were soon gone by the time the police got inside to see Weaver the infamous crime boss and a few of his best and brightest either tied up or knocked out. And it looked like whoever had caught 'em had also found the stolen medallion from the museum.

Some of the police wondered who could've done it. Especially officer Kim Briggs.

Derek and Drake made it home at about 8:30.

Their parents were still enjoying a movie and the front yard lights were on for now.

Drake glanced at his brother before asking him something.

Drake
So when are you leaving?

Derek smiled at Drake sadly.

Derek
Not sure maybe tonight or in the morning.

Drake
For what it's worth man...I hope you find her you deserve some happiness.

Derek smiled and hugged his brother.

Drake(laughing)
Woah,personal space.

Derek let go smiling.

Drake
Also watch your hugs superstrength hugs are NOT fun.

Drake said.

Suddenly Derek dug into his bag and tossed Drake something.

Drake caught it it was...a baseball?!


Derek(smiling)
Well if I'm leaving tonight I thought we might as well do something since I ruined your date.

Drake
Yeah you owe me for saving you butt.

Derek laughed.

Derek
I'm sure you can call her tomorrow. Besides you have an excuse. "It's my brother's fault becasue he made me do errand with him and he lost track of time."

Drake (smirking)
You better hope that one works. Then Drake threw the ball.

Derek caught it and threw it back.

And soon the two were playing catch as more stars gleamed in the sky.

*begin end credits*

Nice episode. I like the ending with the brothers. Like i said before, i like how your write these. Wish there was more background on the characters though, this episode just felt too brief somehow. I think you really need more on the characters.

That is the perfect follow up episode to a pilot. A good balance of cryptic, adventure, and giving the basic structure of the show. I reallly like how you give some back story and are very descriptive. You make it really easy for an actor to get in the role and to understand their character's inner thoughts, motives, turmoil, etc.
