She's still so important to Clark...he said it himself after the break-up that he'll always love Lana. Her presence in certain situations seems to change the whole way Clark looks at them IMO.

i agree shes very important to clark but does anyone agree with me when i say shes so corny and honestly i think shes a horrible actress lately

I hate her lines at times and the way she plays them. The character of Lois is so much better with the dialouges and etc.

She's always been a medicore actress, but they never asked her to do much. The Lexana is more challenging (in part because they have less chemistry) than the Clana was and she just doesn't have the chops.

That said, I thought she did pretty well in two of her three big scenes tonight. She really sold the effects in the field scene and she was a totally unsympathetic when she told Clark off. The roof scene was mostly Lex's reactions, but she wasn't great in it.

What was more shocking was the MR didn't bring more to the table as Zod. I mean, how is Zod different from 'bad Lex' in his performance? TPTB needed him to save a bad premise and he really let them down.

I kinda figured that either he'd get stuck in the Phantom Zone...OR Zod would come out of the Phantom Zone...then both happened and I was like, 'SH**'...

I hope that after he gets out, he seperates Zod from Lex and the two characters(of Zod and Lex) stay seperate from here on out and Lex becomes a villain on his own.

Also...I know I'm going to laugh and roll my eyes when Lex does come back and...of course...remembers nothing about Clark's powers.

Other than the fears of Zod being a primary reason Lex turns evil...I think season 6 is going to ROCK.

I thought she was 100% dead to right there. Clark is asking her to betray her man. But he still won't come clean with her. That scene summed up the Clana.

Still, Lana is becoming a caricature of herself. The world is coming to an end, Metropolis is burning, and she is only wrapped up in her relationship with Clark?

Yeah ... I think that is the point. For whatever reason, TPTB have decided to destroy any sympathy for Lana. Let's hope there is a reason for it next season.
