You know, it wasn't until after that scene was over that I realized that we haven't seen much of Chlex since the beginning of the season... and it's too bad! They have so much onscreen chemistry, I could feel my TV crackling! :lol:

at the end of s.4 lex also manhandled her and forced her to show him to the caves. he was a complete ass that whole episode but lana seems to be the only one who has forgiven him

Now back on the subject at hand, TPTB have actually been pretty decent with continuing plotlines this season... I actually believe that based on the escalating interaction of Lex and Chloe that they would HAVE to continue the storyline of Lex's suspicions...

Though, I must say I think the Chlex died mid-late season 4 when the writers decided to shift Chloe's view of him from potential threat to decidely evil villain based on... well nothing stated. Not to say there isn't any chemistry, because they've got that in spades. But I didn't get the slightest whiff of romance in their scene tonight.

I don't care if they snarl at each other or get hot at each other or get together in some twisted fling, they are just good together. They are smart and energetic and I find them irresistible.

The Chlex was the best scene of the episode by a lot to me. I am glad that Chloe didn't fire back at Lex. I thought she seemed classier becauses she didn't.
