well, I like Clark's interaction with Maddie I thought he was very sweet and kind to her and very affectionate with her. I love that side of him.

I liked all of Clark and Maddie's scenes in general. Tom Welling seems to have such better on-screen presence when he's playing the older sibling, and better chemistry with those who share the screen with him.

Yes, in many ways this episode was a shameless duplicate of Stray, just with a different gender and a different power.

I loved Clark's relationship with Maddie. Tom works with kids so well and I thought his performancce tonight made him shine. Clark would make a good dad one day and with the way Tom is able to act with kids I think he himself will make a good dad one day. Not everyone can play a guy with 9 screaming kid siblings after all like Tom did on Cheaper by the Dozen.

When he was with Maddie it just made Clark/Tom seem more attractive. His personality was cute and it was nice to see a happy Clark.

Unfortunately it was. I thought that Lexana kiss happened way too early and was upset we got to see only a few video clips of Fine on Lex's laptop. I was really expecting to see some good Lionel stuff, but alas there was none. I really hated what they did with Chloe. This probably bugged me the most. Just another filler episode that was an inferior copy of an old episode.

yeah, yeah ; very true, very true, i think he must have a pretty patient/ good temper to be working with children. I heard that he also worked great with maddie off -screen while directing which was really nice

Oh yeah and the conversations about the differences in fathers and dads, and how Maddie doesnt have to be like her father was really great. Clark had a lot of Jonathan in him. It was heartwarming to hear. While watching this I totally was able to believe that this Clark really can be Superman one day.

I loved the Clark/Maddie stuff. He was wonderful with her, and gave off a really great heroic, compassionate vibe. And it was so nice to see an episode where Clark wasn't miserable. I doubt we'll get another for the rest of the season.

Yes...I liked Clark and Maddie too. I loved it when he drew that little stick man picture and then at the end of the episode she drew herself and Shelby into the picture, lol. So cute.

My absolute favorite part will have to be when Clark and Maddie are sitting in the living room and Clark says that he is an artist too. He is telling her that his drawings are hard to tell apart from photographs. I was expecting him to draw something using his speed abilities. But then when he revealed his stick figure drawing that what made the scene so much better!

For me the Maddie and Clark scenes.

Those demonstrated the tender caring side of Clark Kent, even as Jonathan Kent said to Clark in 'Void' episode....

".....you don't belong here, you have to go back....you are going to touch the lives of so many people, not only just as a man (mild mannered) but as a symbol...."

Pre-episodic to this next episode of 'Fragile' indeed

I liked the little picture Maddie drew of the farm, Shelby, Martha and Clark holding hands with Lois under the rainbow.

I also loved the biting conversation between Chloe and Lex. And of course, I loved the Clois banter.

I really liked when Clark brought Lois back to her apartment and she told him how wrong she was about Maddie. I also liked Matha telling Lois that she thought her destiny was greater than working at the coffee house. :)

I liked the part where Clark listened to mattie with his super hearing and found out that she did talk and so he tried to get her to open up. I just like it when clarks uses his powers in little sweet ways like that.

I have to say, my favorite part of the episode was either when Chloe was evil to Lex (yeah Chloe, tell that evil baldie where to go!), or the end credits. I really didn't like this episode AT ALL!!!

When Clark saved Martha's life by using some sharply aimed heart-vision blasts to that piece of nasty glass (yikes!) hovering directly in front of her throat.

There's nothing like a son (especially a Superson) protecting or rescuing a parent..

The scene following in which Maddie took control (and was talked into not losing control and killing her dad) of the situation was good too.

This was pretty damn funny right here

But in all seriousness, I did not think the episode was as bad as a lot of people are saying. While it is not a great one, it had enough things in it for me, to enjoy it. My favorite part of the episode would have to be the Chloe/Lex verbal sparring match. That was just awesome.

I liked the previous 2 episodes way more than I did Fragile. The main thing I liked about Fragile was the music at the end, and of course as I stated earlier in this thread, the ending credits.

The music stressed the darkness of what just happened. But the episode as a whole was just not my favorite. I would call it the Ageless of Season 5 (why do they have crappy episodes like this so late in the season when things should start getting tied together), though it was far better than Ageless.

I am really looking forward to Mercy. They better not be jiving us again with that trailer.

Definately not bad enough to be considered S5's Ageless. I will agree that it was not the best episode. But Fragile at least had some redeeming qualities - Chlex interaction, getting to see a more heroic side of Clark, a decent Lois appearance, etc.. Ageless had no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

The worst episodes this season for me have been Reckoning, Tomb, and Aqua.

I didn't like Reckoning because of the outcome and how it made Clark look bad. I also didn't like how they went back into time (was very cheap).

I guess you're still too busy to have made any new videos, right? That Invincible one is still my favorite. S5 has some great scenes that can be used to make one. If I had a decent PC, software, time and skills, I would make some.
