Dude. That video was awesome. Made me smile the whole time! I actually have A LOT of fave parts. The whole part from 0:10 - 0:18 was so fitting from the song and is probably one of my fave scene. I loved how you had Buffy in sync with the "well". Cool job.

The effects were great too and as usual your editing was great. LOL. I still can't believe you said this video was retarted to me the other day..(think back..umm.Well, yesterday, but whatever)

So yeah, I heart this video. And now since you've done one with this song, perhaps you would stop mentioning it every 3 mins while we chat? YAY! :p

This was definately not what I expected. I didn't visit the thread before downloading so I had no idea what song you used, or what type of video it was. I was expecting a more serious action video.

This was such a nice suprise to see all the funny and light hearted moments. Now granted, I am not a big fan of Smashmouth. Especially All Star. But it worked really well for the theme of the video, and your scene selection made me appreciate the song. You should definately take that as a compliment

I was really happy to see scenes from all the seasons in there. Especially the first season, since it is a very underappreciated season. The cheerleading stuff with Buffy was hilarious. Nice use of the scenes from Once More with Feeling too.

I especially liked that part as well. When mouth movement is synced to the lyric it is very cool.

My favorite part was - "Ain't the sharpest tool in the shed" and you show Xander in the Pilot wiping out on his skateboard after he hits the railing. I always loved that scene, and it went so well with the lyrics. I know I probably would have done the same thing if I had been in his situation seeing Buffy. :)

I also really liked Spike's camera poses.. :lol: and Anya's driving was very funny and went well with the song at that point because of how well the scene hung on the lyric.

I think I have watched this video like three times now.

Great editing, timing, and especially awesome scene selection.

I really hope we can make a video together Kristen!

I'm never really got to watch buffy that much, but I really liked your vid! You did an awesome job with the editing and scene selection (the vid was very cute :D).

I really liked how you started it with the "first day of school" (i think) scenes and the introduction of all the main characters. That was clever! And it was very funny with the L arms at 15, and the well mouth/lyric match :lol: Awesome stuff Kristen!

44-54: This part was really funny too! :lol: You do the best cute/funny vids Kristen. Awesome lyric matching and loved the "gold" :) effect/lyric match!

120-130: This was a very clever lyric match too. I assume this was a dream sequence LOl!

229-240: This was another really cute/funny well done section! Really clever scene selection and editing!

308-the end was very cool! Awesome ending Kristen! It was very clever and looked awesome!

Ryan: Thanks for the awesome feedback Ryan! Yeah, I don't know if I'd do that great of a job with a serious/action Buffy video because there's too many scenes to chose from :lol: And there's a lot of videos out there that's like that, so I chose comedy. ;)

Sorry it took me so long to comment. I wish I had had the chance to watch this video earlier because it's fantastic! I was smiling the entire time. I loved the entire thing, but here are some of my favorite parts:

*Cheerleader Buffy with the 'L' and "Well" to the song.

*Anya and Dawn dancing with the money.

*Loved Willow and Xander on the couch, reading and holding up lighters to Giles' "rock star" performance.

*Spike posing for the papparazzi.

*The shooting star at the end with Anya?'s "Hey you, have a nice day."

*My all time favorite segment begins at 1:30 which included the Snoppy dance, Xander & Harm's slo mo fight, and the briefing sequence from "Hush", which is probably my fave sequence in the whole series.

This was fantastic! Definitely a keeper that I will watch often. :)

Awww. That video makes me miss Buffy a lot. I remember that show as action packed and fast paced but also pop-culturally savvy and an excellent laugh a great many times. This video was an excellent representation of what an excellent laugh this show was and I simply sat back and enjoyed it.

Obviously, I loved this vid much like I love all of your videos. I do believe that you are probably one of the best video makers on the site, and what Ryan said is completely true in the other thread; people don't give you enough credit for your outstanding skill and talent.

I haven't seen many comedic videos truth be told. People usually find the appeal of a fast-paced action video far better than one of a laugh out loud comedic video so they make fast-paced action videos. It was nice to see a comedic video for a change.

I’m not a fan of Smashmouth. I didn’t think that you’d be able to pull this song off seeing as they don’t have the best of lyrics. However, after watching the video, I found myself laughing out loud and singing to the song the second time around. Great song choice for a comedic video.

I have to compliment your ability to match up the beat even with a comedic video. I suppose that the song helps a whole lot but honestly, I was blown away by the color changes and the scene changes that you did on beat.

My favorite parts:

- “I ain’t the sharpest tool in the shed” obviously with Xander skateboarding and falling on his back. Too funny :lol:

- Both “shape of an “L” on her forehead” and “well” of that sequence with Buffy and Giles. I loved the lyric matching on the first one and the mouth-movement matching of the second one.

- Loved Giles singing and the flashes right before he stepped up the microphone. I also loved the mouth-movement matching on “paid”. The perfect wrap-up to the scene was Willow and Xander holding up their lighters while reading and the color change kicks in. Truly brilliant.

- Loved the shots of Spike being photographed by the paparazzi. You also matched the scene changes on beat here and I thought it was hilarious to see some of the things that he did while being photographed.

- I loved Cordelia jumping up from behind the cake. Seriously, it was my favorite small part in the entire video. It’s so great that you included her seeing as people don’t really seem to think of her as a Buffy character (more Angel, no?)

- All the cheerleading stuff was absolutely thigh-slapping hilarious. Season 1 is probably one of the most overlooked seasons in Buffy and I’m so glad that you put it in there. Seeing Sarah Michelle Gellar dance was so great.

- Xander’s Snoopy dance xD

- All the scenes with Oz were great. He sort of faded out at the end of Buffy and he wasn’t appreciated as much as he deserves credit.

- “I need to get myself away from this place” was absolutely hilarious with the zoom ins of Buffy’s face and the zoom in of the sandwhich and Willow’s mouth :lol:

- The car driving scene with Anya and Willow was great, especially at the end when you thought to include the color changing flashes on-beat.

- That “head gets dumb” with Anya standing at the microphone is hilarious. I loved her waving her finger around trying to remember something.

- “Once More with Feeling” clips were edited well and placed in the correct places. I thought the episode overall was hilarious and upbeat. Seeing you use that episode in this video was nice to see.

- Loved the Buffy/Willow/Xander stuff at the end. Those are the originals of the Scooby gang. I always love seeing the three of them together. It makes me cry.

- Nice conclusion with a shooting star running through many of the clips that you used in this video. Very strong and very nice.

One part that I wasn’t too fond of what “The ice we skate is getting pretty thin” It seemed like the scene you stuck in there was just to match “ice we skate”. The Bangel kiss seemed totally out of place and it seemed to break the flow a little bit.

Still, great video overall. I loved all the clips that you used and I thought that everything was edited incredibly well. Great job on this video on keep those comedic videos coming.
