Clark regressing to a 5 yr. old child is probably the biggest goof.

Seriously though, I can't think of any "goof" goofs, other than plot stuff.

Well I don't remember Lana and Clark being back together after the 100th. That confused the hell outta me. I don't remember what happened to Fine when he and Clark duked it out in the Fortress so his being back was odd for me. Lex should remember Clark throwing him across a room but doesn't mention anything. And I was on the phone when Fine pulled a T-1000 and turned his finger to a knife right in front of Lex. I don't know what the reaction was but it didn't seem to be knowing his secret.

All the driving and superspeed by nearly everyone in this episode.

How in the heck did Clark get hypnotized. I mean they never really clarified he can. He's a kryptonian not a human.

Lex even said "You're hypnotized, Clark. That's how you can throw me across the room like that."

And Lex did not see Fine do the T-1000, he only had it ready in case Lex knew the truth, not what he had constructed as such.

The amulet is magic, which is why Clark is susceptible to it, when it comes to magic, Clark's as defenseless as the rest of us.

HOW DOES HYPNOTIZING PEOPLE CURE CANCER????

Really, that's bothered me since Chloe mentioned it.

Yeah I hated that about curring cancer too and just as sad is that I so saw that line coming. I saw it coming from a mile away.

Clark and Lana have been together in Vengeance, she finds his dads watch and tells Lex that she needs to be there for Clark. They were together in Tomb, Lana even says something like "why didn't we come together as a "couple" - meaning they were still a couple. And they were together in Cyborg, that one is pretty obvious, LOL all I can say is rewatch it.

I don't remember exactly what happened to Brainiac, but I do remember that after Clark defeated him in the FOS, the ship disappeared which meant that somehow Brainiac took it and therefore was alive and therefore was bound to come back and cause more havoc.

Lex thought Clarks superstrength was a side effect to being hypnotized by Simone, he flat out said so when Clark was laying the smack down on him in the one roomed mansion.

And lastly, Lex said that he knew what Fine really was, so Fine made his finger into a "Spike" behind his back - Lex doesn't have X-ray vision so couldn't see - ready to strike out if Lex truely knew "what" he was, but Lex just found out some bull story about Fine being a government agent dude.

 I think Superman has always been susceptible in all the mythos. And....Hey! I liked IsoLana, those eps were better then most of the season 4 eps.

Uh, I know that :p. I know Superman is vulernable to magic, but I just forgot hypnotizing could be a part of it. Considering the fact Lois & Clark had Superman hypontized as well. So this isn't very original of SV. I liked Isobel, but the storyline was pure crap due to the bad continuity and ending of it.

It's a magical amulet. It's plausible it could have healing powers as well as hypnotic powers.

Meh, that was only because they messed up and wasted so much time on meaningless filler eps in Season 4, like Lucy, Krypto, Devoted, Ageless, Bound, Recruit - just to name a few on the top of my head. Non of which progessed the "season arc" at all and are totally forgettable. Well, Clark got Shelby in Krypto, but I don't care 'cause that ep sucked! :p

But I guess this really isn't the time or place to talk about season 4.

Did it cure cancer? Or was it like a treatment for cancer? So that the patient could more easily endore the radiation treatments if they are "hypnotized" that it all that unpleasent.

Those episodes had nothing to do with it. It was how the storyline was writtened, and executed within those episodes. The witch storyline was the B Plot just like the Brainaic arc is. They screwed up, and since roughly "Solitude" they are slowly screwing up this season's main arcs as well. More fillers to come, and quick rush rush to the end. Just like usual. It wasn't executed well at all, and they are doing it again.

I'm bitter about the Brainiac stuff being the B-plot. Not surprised, mind you, just bitter.

I'm just wondering, the ship is supposed to be a frictionless surface, said by Lex in the begining of S5. But in Honduras, it was all dusty and dirty. Umm..... if something has no friction, nothing will ever ever stick to it. And it wasn't shiny anymore. :(

Bothered me too. And especially at the end, when they dedicated the episode to Dana Reeve who just died from lung cancer!!!::/: Poor taste - should have changed the line before airing.

I totally agreed where you say since Solitude......(I liked 1/4 of Reckoning and then Cyborg). Filler, crap, destruction of Characters, and leaving fans in their wake so they can have Lexana,Chlark, or Clois. Why bother to have the first 3 seasons? Since Lois arrived TPTB think everyone expects Clark to dump Lana. It's SV and they should know better and for god's sake write better. Dr. Fine should have been the A plot.

Lex asks Simone if Clark has shown any powers. She conveinently says 'no'.

Then, Clark throws him around and picks him up, and Lex attributes it to being hypnotized.

Everyone expects Clark to dump Lana for Lois ever since the pilot episode of Smallville, because well...he does, Lois is Clark's true love not Lana. Lexana has been foreshadowed for a very long time, ever since Metamorphasis, peeps can't say I am crazy anymore and reading too much into things because Lex flat out said that he has always loved Lana and Gough said that Lana has always had an attraction to Lex.

Fine, personally, I think his story is evolving just fine. ;) Brainiac slowly eased up to Clark in the beginning and gained his trust, violated it and got beat and now is working on building Lex's trust..to violate it most likely. Its nothing like the witch arc last year where there were little snippets that by the end of the season didn't make sense and only two eps dedicated really dedicated to it.
