Dude seriously the famous "Jump the Shark" episode was so truly bad that it coined the saying. Trust me when I say this episode does not hold a candle to that Happy Days toilet flush.

Put it in perspective, it's not that bad. It may just not be what you wanted to see, but it's not a show killing stunt by a long stretch.

What was so bad about this episode? The subplot about the seductive villainess was redeemed by the fact that LEX set it up. If it was just a random krypto-freak, it would have been mediocre, but the fact that LEX is out for blood... Ooooh, delicious.

This episode was just like Ageless, but a little better. The A plot was... meh. But the B-plot was great.

I wish the entire episode had been Fine/Lex. That was actually pretty darn interesting. The rest of the episode was Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

WHAT!?!??!? BLASPHEMY. It wasn't nearly as bad as "Ageless"!!! "Ageless" was the one with the exploding kid, right? Now THAT was terrible. Again, I maintain the A-Plot worked because it was all being masterminded by Lex........ Scary scary!

I know everyone is entitled to there own opinion but I can't believe as many peole loved the episode as they did I can understand Clana needed to die but the episode lacked any degree of thought provoking material whatsoever.

I thought "Hypnotic" was a definite improvement from the sub-par episodes this season. The Lex/Brainiac plot was awesome, and I actually didn't mind the sex slave plot. And the end of Clana(or at least I hope so) is a bonus.

I really liked "Hypnotic". It's given me hope for the rest of the season, and I only hope that Brainiac's role from here on out is expanded until "Vessel".

I dont even consider the Clana breakup to be that special here, because, well, didnt they do that already? In the episodes before Cyborg, they had already gone through this whole discussion of "if you can't tell me your secrets then let's just stop seeing each other".

So the plot with Fine/Lex was much more enjoyable, and yes there should have been more with that.

I liked this episode for three reasons...the lex/fine interaction, the Clana breakup and the Chloe/Lois scene after Chloe knocks out martha...the rest of it couldn't matter less.......well, the results of the Clana breakup (lexana and Chlark) were okay too!
