Ok - guess it's up to me to talk about Mondays ep (its now Wednesday guys - what’s happing?? :mad: )

It was a good ep (number 99 if anyone’s counting) - had some great moments, and the superman theme was in there if anyone was listening VERY closely (at the hospital with Lex and Lana)

I was wondering if the sheriff would die - the minute she said to Clark "did you drop out of the sky?" then "hey another hunch? You get a lot of them!" - And the look on her face when Clark disappears she was going to die, since she was starting to question why Clark is always in the right place at the right time.

Lex and his panic room was so dumb, being a millionaire you think he would be able to install air conditioning, and its own air supply, and electricity supply - most panic rooms have a panic button to call the police - it was stupid that these thing could be controlled from the outside, it defeats the purpose - but makes a good story, so hey!

In addition, a dramatic turning point - again Lana seems to be a major reason for Clark and Lex turning on one another, will Clark tell her his secret to stay with her?? I hope not - though I do know the answer to my own question (sucker for spoilers)


Expect big things for the 100th ep - its gonna be a MAJOR story arc!! :eek:

Hey psycosis, where IS everybody? I know i haven't posted cos of a new job. That's my excuse and i'm sticking to it :D Maybe the UK Smallvillians have integrated in to the larger forum? Let us know if you're still out there people!

On to the ep.....

I too had more than the usual issues around suspension of disbelief starting with the fact that the cop had turned evil/psycho. They hammered home the fact about seeing his colleagues burn etc. but talk about grasping at straws :(

plus his fiancee, also a police officer but did not see anyone burn was convinced to turn murderer/saboteur/extortionist???? :eek:

Coolness for the week....Clark diving through the explosion. Can't get enough of that effect. However, his 'found Lana outside' excuse came along and the question wasn't raised regarding his ripped/burnt clothing? (yes i know it's a tv show about a super-powered alien ;) )

I like the 'human' aspect to Clark over his jealousy of the apparent Lexana but this won't be the ultimate reason for emnity between him and Lex surely.....he's above that. Although Lana sure is cute :p

Bad/hammy acting of the week: Ma Kent and her shifty eyes when she mentions that everyone has secrets for which they pay a price..........special mention to some of the dodgy music cues though. How corny was that at the end? I thought it would never finish! :lol: There was another one a couple of eps ago for Jonathan Kent which had me going :rolleyes:

As for Lex, the episode had him in it but was never much about him which is a shame. Who doesn't love those Lex-focused storylines? :D

Overall a below average episode for me. :\

Since they closed down our forum, I have been a wandering spirit, only posting very occasionally. I tend to just read for I feared that no-one would reply to a UK poster as this was a long time ago for the US peeps.

Anyway, enough rambling. Great episode!!! Clark jealous, Chloe stuck in the middle, Sherriff dead :( , Lexana, 'the dive' and general moving up the story awaiting the next episode!

WOW, roll on #12. I haven't read any spoilers but was unfortunate to see someone's avatar and read something in somone's post a few weeks back in the Ep7 forum - they really have to cut this out, I complained about post but nothing. Oh well, it was a minor thing and not the biggie!!!

I tend not to read that much anymore either because of that - inconsiderate posters posting in previous ep forums and spoiling it for others.

You're right, it's been happening since Ep 3. Clana was doomed from the start.

Does anyone else think its a little strange that Martha Kent has now been offered the senators position, since Jk popped off?

You wouldnt get that happening in the UK HO NO!
