Hey.. i have been looking for pictures of the "10th kingdom" mini series like mad. i was wondering if anyone had any good pics from the show.. that is.. if you have heard of it. Specifically good pics of wolf and virginia, and virginia singing "We will Shear you."

i know.. i love it... She was kind of a B!tch to him though... i loved her and her character, but she kept turning him down and being mean and i was just like.. AWW... i wouldnt have been able to resist him.. he was so adorable.

I agree was mean, but that was part of her arc. She turned cold, and shut herself off so not to get hurt like the way her mother hurt her emotionally. From the gyspies to Snow White to Wolf they all told her she turned cold. Now she isn't anymore :).

Ya.. i know that.. but i love wolf lol... And i love Virginia's character though.. she was amazing.. i could so feel her you know? And that scene where shewas crying (i know it almost by heart, its sad) she says something like .. "I want to grab someone and tell them 'my mother left me when i was seven' as if that would explain everything." I have the whole monolouge somewhere.. ill post it later.. but i love it. Its amazing and Kimberely Williams didan amazing job protraying her. I fell inlove with Kimberely in that show. She was amazing. Its unfortunate we dont see her in much anymore though. Waisted talent.. it sux.. all the ppl now-a-days are crap, and she takes my breath away and doesnt get enough credit. Its not fair. :(

Yea. I loved the main four characters, and they were so different from one another. I loved that monologue very much, and really emphasized Virgina a lot. Kimberely Williams is still around, and helped made the show on ABC According to Jim one of the networks big success. I wish she would be more involved in drama again though. One of my favorite scenes from her was when she had to kill her mother, and she is crying saying "Please don't die.....Mom" :(. She did a great delivering I thought.

YA... that was amazing.. her and her mother through the whol thing.. it was brilliant. And that whole mirror scene, with the choking, and "You'll never be as beautiful as me" and stuff.. wow.. i was like omg! it was very well done. Im so happy to have someone to talk to about this.. lol. Kimberely really should be in more Drama.. i know about that show and stuff, but i meant Drama, and movies.. using her abilities to better the crap acting world lately. She is very talented. I cry everytime i watch that scene, and i barely ever cry, .. but when she starts crying, and saying how.. **** i cant remember that last line.. umm.. something like she feels like she is all alone and everyone is just abandoning her.. but in better words. Thats with the other scene i was talking about. I never cry during things usually but.. when she starts crying. It seems so sincere, and real, that i cant help it.

Gotcha on the drama and movies ;). I thought you meant like wasn't around period lol. What gets in that scene as well is when her mom says "My sweet Virginia" that's when I start crying :lol:. I tried getting caps from that scene, but grrr it's hard to find. Not very many people talk about this mini-series since it came out in 1999 :\. It's nice to know some still remember it :D.

OMG! I love this miniseries! If you guys can wait two weeks or so (my final is next week) i could go make some caps from my DVD, that is if you could tell me specific scenes you might want, i don't wanna just keep clicking for all of it, i might go insane.

I LOVE WOLF!!! Didn't like kissing town much though.

that would be awsome if you could cap it though... i would apprecuate it. i love this series so much.. its so good! And i had thwe biggest crush on wolf.. kissing town wasnt really a favourite scene of mine either.. there were plenty of scenes i loved more. I loved the Bo-peep singing scene.. i dont know what its called, and all her and her mother's scenes, and her monolouge scene. I liked the whole thing.. its just great. I wish there actually WAS the ten kkingdoms.. that would be amazing.

I had crush on Wolf as well. For some reason I thought when he came back in the end in the Swamp. He just seemed more sexy to me. I think it was the way he carried himself.

Yea, the second part was the marriage proposal and the Huntsman. What I liked that came out of the Kissing Town was a great plot twist when the mirror broke into pieces. I remember watching think "omg.........that did not just happen :eek: " lol. Then had to wait until the next day to find out what happened :lol:.

I liked the dream too. The coloring of the dream was really white, and the apples falling on the bed was neat. I been trying to find fanart of that scene. Well...heck any scene :(.

Then they have to go back to Wendell's castle to get the other mirror. The mirror was a great to way to travel to all these kingdoms.

Ya the mirrors were a very nice touch.. i always wished that my mirror would just suddenly glow and invite me there. If it was me i wouldnt be trying to go home.. id stay there..

He was VERY hot in that movie.. im weird and like the Phyco thing though. Ppl should have remembered it.. maybe i would have saw it sooner.. i really love it. I think its funny and true, they talk about how the B!atch they kill is suddenly a saint because it was supposively "Suicide". It is so true.. when anyone dies in real life.. suddenly they are a saint, and they could have been horrible ppl. i mean.. suddenly everyone as a good kid, with a good heart who played sports and liked video games and thats all... never did a wrong thing in their life. but in reality they were probably complete A$$holes.. You never know. that bothers me... anywho... Christian Slater... this is one of the first movies i actually paid attention to him in.. and i noticed how much i love his voice.. its so weird but for some reason i love it!!

I agree. That movie really emphasized how people behave about the people who pass away, and I thought they did a great job on the representation of cliques. Not the younger generations. I was born in the '80s, so it's like my pop culture. But I seen some of the younglings have not seen The Goonies either :eek:. I first noticed him in Robin Hood lol.

well.. i was born at the end of the eighties.. 89... but my head is still there. Trust me. I need to watch Robin Hood I guess... lol.. they did a good job of the cliques i found too.. the groups are slightly different, but basically the same. I hate it. It drives me mad.. if im like anyone im actually like him. I dont fit in anywhere. ...I love the goonies lol.. i need to see it again... refresh my memory, but... man i loved that movie.. lmao..

I used to have a HUGE buffy poster on mywall and always bought those buffysuckers with the stickers in them .. lol.. never thought about that in a while. I love remembering things that i havent remembered in a while. Anyway.. my sister used to be obsessed with Angel when he was on the show. I love Spike. She changed to Spike later as well.. He is just awsome.

He's great in Robin Hood especially with comedic timing "they cleared it" lol. I really recommend that one, and it's a really great movie from the late 1980s.

I'm the same way. Buffy Summers is actually the character I can most relate to on many levels, so I would buy all these Buffy merchanise :lol:. Still do :). My little sister was the same way. Spike didn't win her over until she saw S5 and S7(that's my favorite Spuffy :D ).
