A call from the future warns Clark and friends that Lana may soon be in danger. The truth about Adam Knight is revealed, and he is desperate for more serum to keep himself alive. Also in this episode, we learn Lionel Luthor is dying of a rare liver condition, and the FBI closes in on the Luthors after the murders in "Resurrection."

this is an amazing episode. and plus it was the first episode i saw of season 3 since that is when i started watching the show. the whole phone call from the future idea i liked very well, and Adam dying and Lionel sticking the gun in his mouth before the episode ended was crazy!

Eh, the ending scene of Lionel sticking the gun in his mouth was the only really good part of this episode.

I liked the whole episode. But I must say that was an amazing recovery for Jonathan after just having a triple by pass.

But no really it was an exciting and interesting episode.

this was probably the only episode of the series that kept me in suspense. i never knew what was going to happen next.

I remember when this episode originally aired, they put it on 30 minutes early so I only caught the second half of the episode. This is one of my all time favorite episodes!

Ok, so this episode is entertaining. Still kills me how easily Lana can just brush off the fact that Clark got across town in a SPLIT SECOND and she never questions what happened to the bullet? So, I don't know kinda lame.

While the main story lacked any sort of logical coherence, it made up for in closure with the blood storyline, decent special effects, and one of the most shocking endings I have every witnessed.

Well she did ask and he said it had something to do with the time warp thing. I know you are probably like "why would she believe that" But if I was in her shoes I would belive him.

Anyways I think that she may have just been happy that she was still alive. I would care less how he did it
I would just be like " You saved my life thank you so much I don't know how you did it but you did it thank you.":D

I would never say"You saved my life Great whatever How did you do it, it is not possible blah blah blah...."

Ok, mabey you wouldn't care, but I would at least wonder. I mean the man didn't even have his car there. But I understand your point.

But again, it is Lana, she could be the most clueless person on Smallville.

I didn't care much for Crisis. While the mystery was somewhat interesting (how they got from here to there, as it were), mostly I was just waiting for something to happen. Not one of the better eppies.

FAVORITE EPISODE! Every time I watch it it creeps me out. Great climax to the Adam story arc. ver dark, similar to reckoning.

If Adam fired, and neither her or Clark were hit (of course Clark did get hit but Lana didn't see that) I guess she would have assumed that Adam missed.

but if Adam missed, then Clark didn't really save her, so what would she have to thank him for?

Well, he still put himself in danger to help her. But yes, I guess if Lana believed Clark didn't get hit by Adam's shot, then from her POV he wouldn't have actually saved her.

What did I think of Crisis?

What I liked about Crisis was Clark super-speeding to save Lana Lang from Adam Knight. He shot a few bullets and they hit Clark, and bounced off of him. Clark was trying to protect Lana from being hit by the bullets. That was the best part of Crisis. Clark asks Lana if she is okay. Adam Knight witnesses Clark Kent taking the bullet to protect Lana.

Adam says to Clark, "You took the bullet." And as usual, Clark plays dumb and answers Adam, "That's impossible."
Adam disagrees with Clark and says to Clark, "I saw you. Now I know why Lionel sent me to watch you. I guess I found out what I was looking for...just a little too late." Adam goes on to say to Clark, "He's not going to stop, Clark. I couldn't escape him. How long do you think you can?" Then Adam dies. (I felt so sorry for Adam. I really liked Adam at the beginning of Asylum, when he first met Lana at physical therapy. He was one of my favorite characters from the 3rd Season of Smallville. Lana and Adam were a cute couple).

I loved this Clark and Lana scene at the end of the episode. It was a nice conversation between Clark and Lana. This was my favorite part of the episode, Crisis:

Lana: "Clark, there's sometthing that I don't understand. How did you get from the Teen Crisis Hotline to the storage unit in a split-second?"

Clark: "It took me more than a few minutes. Maybe it had something to do with the weird time anomaly. You know, there's something that I don't understand, either. Why did you call the hotline instead of the police?"

Lana: "Because I knew you'd be there. Looks like we cheated fate."

Clark: "Barely. I was so afraid that I wouldn't get to you in time."

Lana: "I know. I spent the last 24 hours terrified of what might happen. But it all turned out okay. It made me realize how many decisions I make because I'm scared of how things will end up."

Clark: "We both do our share of that."

Lana: "Maybe it's time to stop being so afraid. I've always thought that my life was so mapped out for me, but...you know, maybe we have more control of the future than we think."

This was a good one. I was thinking Adam might be weak to green K sense we had Clark blood in him. What I don't get is why Lana waited until she was alone to fight the dude. Why did'nt she fight him in front of Clark house. This way Chole and Jhonathan could have back him. Yeah Lana kick ass in this eposide. I saw this eposide for the frist time last night. Wonder if Lana will ever get to kick Lex ass like she did Adam

I don't understand one thing about this episode. For several episodes there is this Adam character, that is actually resurrected and has to take a serum shots every 12 hours so he could live. Vince and him died of a liver disease. And taking the fact that Lionel financed the project, I assume he 'resurrected' those guys so he could cure himself. Am I right or have I misunderstood ???

I re-watched S3 a few weeks ago and there is one thing that really bugs me about this episode. The second time around, Lana knows that she dies from getting shot. When she is trying to escape near the end of the episode, Lana knocks Adam down twice. Both times she has more than enough time to grab the rifle and run away with it. Why didn't she just grab the rifle so that Adam couldn't shoot her??!! Both times she knocked him down and ran away without getting the rifle, I wanted to scream out "Just grab the gun you moron!"..LOL
