Yes homework and college are both important. I completed a masters and bachelors degree in 6 years, I'm the first to admit that.
But really...invite your girlfriend over to do homework. That's not for real. No guy invites his girlfriend over to do homework. To fool around with, do homework and then fool around some more is another story. If he really wants to do homework, he can do it on his own. They don't even have the same major! You just don't invite your girlfriend over and expect nothing to happen. That's just not real!:lol:

its not that she is having sex its just that she is always looking for sex when she is with clark. there is more to dating then just sex people usually go to movies or out to dinner and a concert and a bunch of other stuff. people just dont stay in bed 24 7 when they date. thats why everyone is busting on lana (get ur head out of the gutter) because she doesnt want to do anytyhing else.

It's NOT immature because that wasn't the first time Clark pulled away from her while in an intimate situation.. He keeps pulling away from her every time, anyone that was INTO their relationship would find their significant other constantly pulling away to be very odd and disturbing.

4 months is a long time and I can't think of anyone who studies EVERY single day for 4 months straight.. Within that time just about every sexually active couple would have found the time to be together. They have both loved each other for quite some time but couldnt be together. Now they are in college, dated for several months, and had sex once. Its only normal, and the show is just trying to be realistic.

The show highlights portions of thier lives that are the most important. We aren't going to see Lana and Clark going out on every single date or everytime they pick up a book to do homework. We haven't heard that either or them is failing classes, so we can assume that they are both doing well in school. Lana obviously doesn't only think about sex. She obviously has other concerns. We can see that when she visits a friend in the hospital or researches the space ship with Lex. Lana has plenty of other things on her mind besides sex. However when her boyfriend refuses to really kiss her...her concern is less about the sex and more about the fact that he is rejecting her. Clark can't even kiss her, let alone sleep with her. And Lana doesn't know why. It's not about her being horny or about being a slut. It's about her functioning like a normal human female and wondering why Clark can't. So get your minds out of the gutter and look at the reality of the situation. Perhaps those of you posting are too young or inexperienced to understand sex or have moral issues with regards to sexual behavior. But the truth of the matter is that Lana is acting the same as any other intelligent, independent and strong 19 year old woman would, if pushed away by her boyfriend.

Perfectly well said. You've just conveyed everything I was uncapable of doing but was very much thinking. Now if everyone could grasp that, we can get on with the show and move pass the Lana issue and the fact that it's not about just the sex. If they didn't press on this issue before, we would've thought everything was normal and she hasn't notice anything weird about Clark, like you well said. I personally thought this scene was funny.. when Lana was sitting there starring at Clark all bored to death and she said, "When you called me over here to study.. you actually meant study" Or something like that.

But has anyone noticed their first Clana fight in Fanatic in Lana's dorm after Lana said.. "If feels like you don't even want to touch me anymore" And Clark was like, "It's complicated.. that inccident (in hidden) it... it changed me." and Lana went up to Clark in this serious but almost whispery tone... I understand that sex isn't all that's on Lana's mind. I understand that she has some doubts and fears because of Clark's behavior.

HOWEVER,

if Clark or Lex was exhibiting her behavior, they would be called pigs or sexists.

I don't hate Lana or anything. I am also glad that they are at least acknowledging the Clana sex or lack thefor. Perhaps I should stop my fanboy whining and enjoy the show.

I loved this scene, found it hilarious. Could you imagine giving your virginity to a guy and then he's suddenly not interested in sleeping with you for months and won't say why? Talk about heartache and confusion there.

I'm preparing to watch the final two episodes of season 5. With Reckoning to come, I would not have guessed after this latest loft scene that this would be the last time we would see Clana kiss this season. A long horrible fall from Hidden, the best episode this season.

anyhow, although I'm usually ALWAYS on Clark's side in Clark-Lana fights, this time I really got to hand it to Lana - she's right. Clark's being horribly confusing, and she must be feeling awful, with the way he behaves. It can't be easy for her, having him push her away all the time without offering an explanation. I'd be mad too.
