I'm afraid this might be right, I thought the very same thing. I suspect that Johnathan will die and it will be at the hands of Lex...which will be the FINAL wedge to come between Clark and Lex....FOREVER!

I don't think Lex will *kill* JK "with his own hands", but his "Lexmas" decision will indirectly lead to JK's death, methinks. As for Lionel, he's a goner.

I don't think that Lex will kill Jonathan. I think he may be indirectly responsible for his death. I also think that this won't be the final wedge between Lex and Clark. I think it is going to be up and down between them for a while before their friendship ends. I think one episode they will be at each other's throats and the next they will be semi-friends.

Yeah the wedge between Lex and Clark because of JK's death would be too dramatic and big of a change. He will die, but because of stress esp with what Lex is up to in bringing him down; maybe that's what you mean by responsible for his death? And we'll get another Clex scene where Clark accuses of Lex of dishonesty and cheating and Lex will of course, deny it. That way it'll put the wedge between them but that big of a wedge that will confirm everything and really push Clark off the edge.

I guess Jonathan will die but indirectly by Lex's choice causing the final rift between he and Clark :(
I think Lionel's death is set to be at season finale remember the first time during the storm Lex saved his father the second time during the meteor shower he let him as his luck and I think the third time he will kill him :(

I didn't want to believe that JK would die, but after seeing how SV follows the movies more closely than the comics, (Crystal FOS, Essence of Jor-El, etc.) it's definitely possible.

Lex uses that guy to try and frame JK clark and Chloe are having a fight because Clark feels that Chloe is abusing her Knowledge of Clarks secret to much keepng him away from Lana and pushing her closer to lex. (which is evident in Lexmus when she make it sound like it was a dire situation, she could have just told him the truth instead of tricking him like that). clark tells Chloe to leave him alone and to stoping trying to use me as u pattent super powered slave boy. because of the fight Chloe decides to make it up to clark by clearing JK name and starts investigating Lex and his secret partner. Because she decides to do this alone she gets caught by that guy (i don;t remember his name) Lex decides that she has snooped into his business one to many time and wacks her, or the criiminal just kills her on his own without lex's knowledge. When Chloe's body is found Clark is so devistated about it that he blames himself for not being their and that if he didn't fight with her telling her that she is a nuisance then she would sitll be alive. Thus the future death is sovled and the prophecy is forfilled, Clark decides to complete his destiny.

Lex decision to smear JK name to win an election doesn't necessary mean that he gonna kill JK. he just gonna destroy his reputation.

everyone should stop being so one dimensional and stop letting there love for one Character blind them from the possibility that the character might die. For all we know they might just bring pete back to the show and kill him off. Just like they did all the other characters that found out about Clarks secret. that would still be jacked up

If Lex is responsible for Johnathan's death and Clark finds out, Lex is going to be used as a bowling ball again.
