I TOTALLY KNOW IT WAS LILY!!!!! My mom just told us on Thanksgiving that she was having ANOTHER baby! lol , and she said if it's a boy, she wants to name him Alexander, and if it's a girl, she wants to name her Lily. This was TOTALLY NOT PLANNED!!! She said this literally three weeks ago. I know it's a girl, so when I heard that she named her girl Lily I screamed. So did my mom, and now...she's having second thoughts.:rolleyes:

In the various Lex origin stories, Lena has been Lex's sister, foster-sister/love interest, and first girlfriend. In most versions of his story Lena dies tragically, and Lex turns to evil in order to gain the power that would have enabled him to save her.

His daughter in the comics, Lena Luthor, is named after her.

It's always been my theory that the writers were blending the characters of Lena and Lana together (after all, you just need to change one letter). That explains the so called "sibling" relationship the writers talked about in the early seasons, which is now very clearly "Lexana." The Lexmas dream sequence seemed to bear it out (death --> Lex's turn to evil).

Clark said in an earlier episode that Lana's favorite flower was Lillies. so good continuity here.
