Latest news:

Actor Milo Ventimiglia has signed to play Rocky's son in Rocky Balboa the forthcoming sixth installment of the boxing franchise, according to today's Hollywood Reporter. Ventimiglia is perhaps best known for his role as Jess on The WB's Gilmore Girls.

Really looking forward to this movie.

"Blast his dentures out Rock!"

"You don't need a mouthguard, you don't have any teeth."

"Rock, you can chase a turtle. If you can catch a turtle, you'll be as fast as...well..faster than a fly stuck in amber!"

"George Foreman did it Rock! Now you just need a glass-jawed opponent that sticks his face right at you and moves slow just like Micheal Moore!"

I love Rocky, but I thought the doctors said he had too much brain damage to fight. Perhaps, Sly is reaching a bit in order to make a comeback. I watched the clip and didn't find it that exciting, but Paulie was looking as cool as ever puffin on his stogie.

I have to admit...the last thing I expected to hear about is a 6th Rocky movie.

I'm intrigued. The trailer doesn't look too bad and the write ups on IMDb sound pretty good. I'm actually amazed Burt Young is still alive, personally.

Anyone know what the release date is supposed to be?

Yeah... saw the preview for this before Pirates the other day. The first five were terrible... I don't know how he expects to make money on this. Every single Rocky movie is exactly the same...

He's back people !!

Oh yes, he is back !!

Older, slower, a tad on the wrinkley side, but he is back !

In Rocky Balboa, Rocky takes on the current HW Boxing Champ. Mason "the Line" Dixon ( Played by real life and former HW boxing Champion Anthony Tarver).

It is getting great reviews and is bring back the Rocky from Rocky and Rocky II.

I must say I hated Rocky 5, I tolerated Rocky 4 and got a great laugh out of Rocky 3.

At the age of 60 Stallone is still in great shape for a man of any age ( ah to have the free time and personal trainers).

Stallone's boxing has gotten better and better and almost carries himself as a boxer, though he probably will never be able to carry the "aura" of a fighter ( not his fault).

I must say I am looking forward to seeing this movie and seeing Sly gets his face used as a punching bag again :D

I am sure we will have some very cool training scenes, even if none of them ahve anything to do with boxing per se :p

I saw it opening night. If you liked Rocky 1 then you'll LOVE this movie. It is a very well done ending to the story.
