Seems like it, I heard somewhere that she wouldn't be in 2 eps this year because she was finishing up her movie, so after this, she should be in every one again! Yeah!

I like AM and all, but WHERE THE HELL IS KRISTIN?! She hasn't been on 2 episodes!!!! All we see lately is AMs face!

They should at least put a warning before an ep when there'll be no KK so we dont have to waste our time

I agree, I was hoping to see Lana and more of the ship and Lex. But No.. No LANA!!

I agree with tmkfan put a warning if No Lana let me know so I wont get my hopes up. I've been waiting to see Lana all week, now I have to wait 2 weeks more for the Next one..

Personally, I thought the Lana-less episode was refreshing. She's in college at Met U, and doesn't have the reporter gig like Chloe does. Really, she has no reason to come to Smallville every ep. Gas is expensive. ;)

It was indeed a Lana-less episode. While I'm a Lana-fan, I didn't miss her either. A Lex/Lana/Spaceship scene might've been nice, but they just wouldn't have had time for it.

I'm not saying you shouldn't be mad about the Lanalessness (tongue twister!). But it's just that this episode had so much going for it! Sure, the plot resolution was a bit of a deus ex machina, but it was pretty fun getting there. I mean... Brainiac!

Sorry, getting off on a tangent. I'm not trying to offend you, and apologize if I accidentally did so. I've spent a day lurking in my nutcase fandoms, and am rather anti-shipper at the moment. Sorry to accidentally take it out on you. :)

You guys should be happy about it, if you really like KK. As far as I know, she wouldn't be in some episodes this year because of her movie carrier. She can't hold back it because of Smallville. This show is not going to last forever.

But I do understand that you missed her. I miss my favorites characters sometimes. But I really believe that sometimes is better not to have my favorite character in an episode than having him wasted in a pointless small scene. At least you can say that, with the exception of Aqua, Kristin was the main focus of every episode she appeared so far.

I tell ya, Lana-less episodes are a great thing. No annoying voice, no stilted delivery, no Clark/Lana scene that just drags down what this show is about. Good times. Too bad she'll be in "Lexmas". Damn. :\

I'm kind of fed up with people making senseless comments about Lana not being in Exposed or in tonight's episode as TPTB not caring for her or Lana not being needed on Smallville anymore.

The fact is, Kristin was away in India doing a film when these episodes were being filmed! If she wasn't, guess what! She would have been in these two episodes!

I did miss Lana but I can see why she wasn't in it. I rather have her in a good episode than in a bad episode. Not saying this was a super bad eppy but all we saw was bye bye Brainiac, Lex is mad at his dad AGAIN and Chloe saves the day AGAIN. Which is refreshing that it wasn't Clark, but she has been stealing the hero spotlight from him a lot recently and getting no credit.

As much as I'm a fan of Lana/Kruek, I didn't miss her in this ep. Her role in SV, which is as important as any other character, was not central to Clark battling with Brainaic.

So whether or not she was in India, she doesn't have to be in every episode, and there is no truth that TPTB (what does that stand for?), either not caring for her or Lana not being needed. She is central to the whole Clark/Lex story, and as such is as or more important than any character other than Clark himself.

she really doesn't have any place in the storyline now, the ship's gone, and her relationship with clark will be over in a matter of time. the only thing i would rather see than tptb killing her off would be pete coming back and getting together with lana. looks like their steering her toward lex though, which i guess is ok, evil ***** would be a nice change for her character. i like lana in some episodes, but when they try to get her more involved it seems to just ruin the show.

this actually woulda been a pretty nice episode for Lana to be in instead of Lois... She woulda had Chloe to confide in instead of Lex about the spaceship...(sidenote: Where the hell did it go?)...

Then she'd KNOW that Chloe didn't take it... so it left only Lex to hide it from her... and then NO MORE LEXANA! YAY!

A lot of the people complaining about the lack of Lana don't realize that the show didn't suffer at all without her. The last two episodes have showed that this season is too good to be true. And while Kristin Kreuk is always a breath of fresh air, if you've been watching the show the whole time because of her, you really don't know what Smallville is about.

Yes, most people would be mad if there was no Chloe for whole two episodes, cos as supposing to Lana, that character has a substance and a purpose!
I know that Lana is the lead female on the show, but had the writers known then what is so painfully obvious now, namely that Chloe is a far better written and far more interessting character to watch than Lana, they would have never made Lana the lead female on the show!

I don't think there is need to get nasty about the actress (saying she can't act) just because you don't like the character and believe me I am not a Lana fan! I'm Lois all the way and Chloe too, but I don't think KK should be criticized or insulted... if she couldn't act I doubt she'd get any kind of work.
TW probably filmed The Fog and Cheaper by the Dozen 2 during the summer when they were on hiatus last year since one movie has already come out and CBTD2 is coming out soon....
I didn't think that Lana had a place in the epi... school reasons so it made sense to me not to see her, but I don't like the character anyway so I wasn't disappointed and there have been PLENTY of episodes w/o Chloe so that's they way the writing goes... it's just a show... and to watch the show for 1 girl only, well, that has all kinds of sadness about it, especially since the show is about a young man discovering his powers... TW is THE STAR of the show... right??? right??? :)
