View Full Version : Fine's not really dead, right?

Something besides the fact that I heard Marsters was scheduled for 13 episodes tells me that Fine's not really dead, more like just "gone".

Am I right? Does anyone know if/when he'll be returning? More important: Can Brainiac actually die?

Thanks, I appreciate it. Professor Fine was (is?) such a cool character I'd hate to have him dead not even up to mid-season.

So far he's Clark's greatest threat, there's no way they'd end his reign of terror after a single episode battle!

Doubt it. He disappeared with the spaceship. Now that's interesting...

Maybe the Spaceship is still there... just invisible, like in 'Signs'... LOL, just kidding.

Yeah, hes probably weakened, but Brainiac's known for being unkillable. he's definately going to come back sometime somehow.... but maybe not now\

it would make a cool season finale, clark killing brainiac again himself

I just posted this in another thread, but I wrote that I thought it would be funny if next week, Clark goes into school and Fine is just there, teaching his class like nothing happened.

The look on Clarks face would be priceless.

James still needs five more episodes still.

Brainaic will return because for one thing he basically somewhat kinda immortal. He'll come back stronger, smarter and upgraded :D.

Wouldn't that be funny if Clark just goes to school the next day and Prof. Fine is there lecturing as usual. And after class instead of friendly talks he gives Clark a dirty look.

Fine's not dead but I'm pretty he's gone, for now, and so is the spaceship.

Just wait, when Clark least expects it....

Clark comes into class and his jaw drops when he sees professor Fine.

Fine: You're late, Mr. Kent. Extra homework for you.

I agree with Summers. Prof. Fine/Brainaic is a computer and therfore doesn't die because some crystals go through his shape. Not sure what if anything could "kill" him.

And it's definitely not green kryptonite.

Brianiac to me is an annoying character, it always cracked me up how it was always...

Jor-El: Clark, you are the last son of the Kryptonian world...

Clark: Gee wow, you mean there are no others like me? *sobs*

Jor El: *sigh* Very well, here are a few others for you to have some fun with. 1. A sexy girl with your power 2. An annoying Big sister to beat you up and a new and improved Pete!!

Clark: Thanks Daddy!!!!!

Well anyways, my point is that these people are always popping up with Clarks powers. I hope Brainiac stays gone.

I read in an interview that Marsters was contracted for 8-10 episodes.

LOLOL!
I was thinking that before and yes that would be priceless, cause aside from Chloe and the Kents, who is Clark going to tell that could actually do something about Fine's tenure at the school? And what would he tell?

(CLARK to the School board): "You don't understand! He's not who he says he is. He's a super computer from the planet Krypton on a mission to destroy Earth by releasing a renegade Krytonian named Zod from the interdimensional prison known as the Phantom Zone! Please, you have to believe me!"

Afterwards you see Clark getting carted away in a kryptonite laced Straight Jacket and OFF to Bell Revue he goes! :D

Maybe its the same actor playing a different Brainiac, or version of him. Brainiac is a super computer, and maybe he killed off this version but another version is out there. Like in the matrix, when Neo kills one program, another one comes back. I am thinking along the same line.. Brainiac is a supercomputer and can calculate all angles, I dont think he would have gotten beaten that easily without knowing he would, and could come back, unless this was not a "new" version. Perhaps Marsters will play a new updated version of Brainiac that wouldnt be so stupid to fight him head on, but rather stick to manipulating people around him, and perhaps masses of people. He seemed to be successful at that, and lost it when he tried fighting Clark one on one.

*SPOILERS*

brainiac will come back later in the season and theres rumors that he might become a regualr cast member which could be false, and in an interview with marsters he mentions that he will indeed morph into brainiacs true self, cant wait for that! and hopefully they will call him BRAiNIAC at some point on the show

Brainiac (http://www.supermanhomepage.com/comics/who/who-intro.php?topic=brainiac)

Maybe Brainiac's storyline is being loosely followed to the story in the link above. Also ties into the different version theory, I had and posted in another thread.
