View Full Version : WOW . . . no Ma Kent or Lana?

I just realized that the episode is pretty much over and no Ma Kent or Lana. There was that one reference where Lana is supposedly on a field trip with her class, but if Pa Kent has a friend come in shouldnt his wife also be there??

I always miss Ma Kent--she's *so* incredibly under used. :\ Some of my fave moments are scenes of she and Clark.

But a Lana break I have to say I don't mind so much...

Lois is just too much fun with Clark. No sugar overload. :p

I still miss Ma Kent and Lana!!!

I know plenty of Lana haters but I feel some void when she is not in an episode.

Also, how can you be in the Kent Farm with out seeing Ma Kent she's the one that holds the house together.

I didn't understand at all why Martha wouldn't be in this episode. Is just one scene with her, Jonathan and Jack too much to ask for? :confused: Kristin had to do "Partition" work, so even though I missed Lana terribly, I was willing to live with it.

There's like 10 threads on Lana not being in it already. Here's what I posted in the others.

Clark Kent and Lex Luthor are the main characters. Everyone else is just a supporting character. They are used to help further develop the main characters into what they will become. In spite of how much some people may like Lana or Martha there is no reason for them to be in every episode.

The problem is she's been gone for three episodes now. Same with Lionel. It kinda bugs me how sometimes they'll take a break from a plotline for one episode or so. They haven't picked up what's going on b/w Lex and Lionel and it was as if Fine didn't exist in this one. But its ok, as long as they continue it in Splinter.

actually I don't think she was in memoria either... it was focused more on Lex and CK... She WAS on the deleted scenes though heh

Actually, Al and Miles have said that there are three main characters, and Lana is one of the three.

Lana's doing the college thing in MET U but they didn't even say where Martha was. Guess the Talon was Reallly busy

she was in memoria (lex on top screaming on the balcony she comes in and pulls him off/ after she comes to clark and tells him about it) this was the first episode that she wasnt in.

Letīs see, Clark, Chloe, Lex and Lois, donīt really see the problem! We have the only characters needed to make a good episodes! As for others, not that the Kents arenīt important, but once in a while without them wonīt harm anyone, and as for Lana not being in the episode, well let mine just get a tissue so that I can wipe away my fake tears! Ha, Ha, Ha!

i think that was scary that lana wasn't in it. I mean it was good but usually in episodes when she's not that important they usually throw her in for at two or three scenes like memoria

No Lana was fine with me. martha is always nice to have around though, so I sort of missed her.

thank God for the lana break and the ma kent break...ma kent was the old love fling for clark in older superman series....i dont even think that she should be clark's mom now.

No Lana was a godsend, wasn't it? Actually, I don't think the wife has to be there necessarily but we got no explanation for her not being around at all. Not even a "Martha had to cover for someone at the Talon," or anything. It's like they forgot she existed. If only they could do that with Lana and Lois the show would be much imporved.
