I was wondering that too. If I took a couple of swings at one my friends, I don't think I'd be walking into his house again anytime soon thereafter, let alone getting his membership ID AND him bailing me out of jail !

Gotta love that line from Lex: "I don't think a 'hello' is too much to ask for". You'd think Clark would still use some courtesy and manners...

I don't like this whole Clark and Lex dynamic... their relationship in the beginning was intriguing... now the writers make it like a sine curve... up and down, up and down... it's getting rather old.
In this episode, I found Lex to be a bit too brotherly... and it seems as if he forgave Clark fot hitting him...
Either that, or Tom Welling doesn't know how to convey anger across the screen. It doesn't seem like he truly distrusts Lex or hates him... then again, it doesn't seem like he knows how he feels...
To me, I think it's as if they were a married couple and Clark is the nagging wife... no offense to women, but I'm only referring to those sitcom dysfunctional families

It's the same as Clana for the past 3 years. I never understood why, in a small town, you can barge in a mansion with no security jumping you, but you have to knock on a farm house(aka Kent farm). The town's slogan should be
"Incredibly rude citizens who expect more from outsiders, and we also hate billionaires, so tick them off as much as possible, thank you for entering Smallville"

If only Pete was around. Then he could say, "this yo-yo thing with you and Lex has gotta stop".

I don't like to see Clark barging in, either. I know they're supposed to be like brothers, and these days they seem to be like brothers who are on the skids, but even so -- every time Clark barges in for a favor, I feel like he's taking advantage.
