Latin night on 'Smallville' ?

First there's Chloe's roomate who says something in spanish ( which I didn't understand and I speak spanish :eek: ) then Clark dresses up as Zorro and to top it all off, Chloe calls him Carlos. Latin night on 'Smallville' ? I think so.

i speak spanish too and didnt understand her as well, mabe she spoke it to fast or it also could have been portugeas, and thanx to this thread i just realized smallville was having a latin night, niiiice, finaly some more diversity

Had to be in some other language b/c I'm hispanic and even I didn't understand it. Of course I was probably zoning out from watching Chloe's school girl outfit but thats beside the point.

I've listened to the scene several times and this is what I've heard.

Karen: "Can you please tell ? brio gato over here this isn't the Betty Ford clinic."

Before brio is sounds like " es som"??. The brio and gato are distinct.

Now I don't speak spanish or portuguese, but in checking the dictionary, "Drunk" in spanish is ebrio and it's bebedo in portuguese.

How about umbrio?

I speak spanish too, and I just couldn't catch what she said...however, drunken girl sounds like something she would've said.

Roommate girl wasn't actually speaking Spanish, but Italian. She called Lana "quest'umbriacato", which means basically, "this drunkard".

Her accent was all wrong though. It sounded much more Hispanic than Italian.
