View Full Version : This episode was more of a Chloe episode than a Lana episode...

The episode started and ended with Chloe and the title "Thirst" was more driven to the thirst Chloe had to make it big at the Daily Planet then anything else.

Also it was Chloe who was telling the story throughout the episode.

That was truly a plus in my mind. I liked the fact that it was Chloe focused, but didn't really like the narration aspect of the episode.

I didn't like the narration either. It seemed very out of place. This episode had it's strong and weak points. Weak point, vampires. Strong point Fine & Lex.
Strong point Clark as Zorro costumes referances.
Strong points Daily Planet building and Carrie Fisher's guest apperance.

If it wasn't for the character building for Chloe and Fine, this would probably been the first episode that I could have lived without.

too bad it wasn't advertised as a Chloe episode. I'm glad it was a Chloe episode though.

Chloe did a great job. It was pretty centered around her.

I liked how chloe was telling the story in this episode. and when they cut to her typing on her laptop after the interview at the DP. It kinda had a sex in the city feel ( to me)// chloe and clarks scenes ( together or separate were awesome)

That would be true if TPTB actually used Chloe to promote Smallville, they use Lois before they even think of using Chloe.

I personally favor Lana over Chloe and favor Chloe over Lois.

Well, I suppose it brought a few male viewers onto the show.

Course I'm a Clois fan anyway, so it doesn't make much difference to me, but I was glad Chloe got a lot more attention. She's always been one of my favorite characters on the show.

They use sexuality as a sell in general.

The episode just brought us closer to Chloe, which was a total plus in my books since she's dealing with Clark's secret and everything. Made for a more interesting episode.
