If this is a joke, it really isnt funny....If an Aquaman seried develops, it will flop like a fish out of water....OHHHH I can write for Smallville too!

I'm hoping it happens, but they would seriously have to add some more layers to the character besides what we saw onscreen during the last episode.

Yeah and change the actor.

Sorry, but I think Aquaman is the most lame super hero out there. If they give him a series and don't give the Flash, then well I won't be a happy camper here.
The episode was just okay, not great or good, just okay.
And I didn't like the guy they had for Aquaman at all.
and I agree with other poster's here, if he would have said bro one more time, I was going to shatter my T.V.

Aquaman isn't popular enough to get his own series. I mean, if "Flash" couldn't, what hope does A.C. have? :\
I'd watch it though. I know lots of people didn't like the episode, A.C., or the Alan (the actor), but I thought they did great with this. Alan fits the image of Aquaman perfectly to me. Chop off his hand and put him in the orange and green duds and you've got Aquaman as far as I'm concerned.

I've got to agree with the posts that if Aquaman could get one Flash should get one... i am not a huge Aquaman fan and i haven't seen this episode yet, but in my opinion both characters should get a show and give a chance to see if either character will have a good show or not, but A.C don't got what it takes.

Hah, yeah for sure. That guy that played Aquaman wants somethign to happen so bad though I sor tof feel sorry for the poor guy reading his interview where he says before he did the show he only worked out three days a week or something now he works out everyday and hopes something will spark for him on screen. If only the guy could act he might get more work but I dont see any chance that a aquaman series could spark, Bart from run had a much better chance of getting his own Flash series and that was never even really talked about, so for this to even be considerd would be a joke.

Aquaman is one of the most useless heroes in the DC universe.
PLUS the show, if some idiot actually made it, would be up to the chin in annoying environmentalist propaganda, Lord have mercy on us all.

Where did you read that they were making an AquaMan series?

Just keep in mind the Flash tv series didn't have as many good characters to draw from and didn't have the same level of plot developement or funding that we have now in Smallville. Plus the Flash was in his prime, which honestly makes it harder to make virtually realistic fights. Seriously, what's competition to the Flash? Nothing that can be put in a low-budget tv series. :p
Someone on the level of Aquaman would have a greater chance of having a realistic series, with the one drawback of him having to be in the water much of the time. And what a budget that would need. But I am sure someone could go all "Battlestar Galactica/Stargate/Farscape and make a go of it with enough of a supporting cast, but honestly I just don't see that happening either.

I think he'd make a good character in a series but I wouldn't base the entire series on him. I wouldn't mind seeing him again on Smallville.

That would be hard to do cause every episode or bad guy in the episode would have to have something to do with water, and that would get tiresome real fast. I think aquaman wouldn't work for a longer period of time. The flash would be very nice to see do, and doable. And the fact that it has been done before makes it easier to imagen.
I'd really like to see a new series of the flash tho :)

The Aquman character should just become the next Arnold S. Body build, make some Conan movies, make millions on them, make a movie about robots time traveling, and run for governor, and everybody would not vote for him because they think he is acting, and they've seen him act b4 (LOL)

If they do make an Aquaman series, then there is no way that they can have any crossovers with Smallville. If they do different actors, how are they going to be able to explain it?
CLARK: Who are you?
A.C.: The name's Arthur Curry, but you can call me "A.C."
CLARK: That's weird. I met an Arthur Curry from a while ago. You look nothing like him.
A.C.: Yeah, I do.
CLARK: No, you don't.
A.C.: Just go along with it if you wanna get paid.
