Aqua was a fantastic episode, but it just seemed flat and uninteresting. I could watch this episode many times and not hate it, but it was just like ok. I was at the edge of my seat during "Arrival" and "Hidden," but Aqua left something to be desired!!! Anyone else feel this while watching the episode!!!

Aqua was a dissapointment in my opinion. Now it was not a terrible episode, as it did have things in it that I really liked - The Clois forshadowing, the JLA reference, the reference to Bart, the start of the Clark/Brainiac storyline, and insight into Lex.
However, the appeal of this type of episode is the introduction of a new hero and the interaction that hero has with Clark. That is where the episode suffered, which is why it was a dissapointment to me.
Run set up a better entrance for Bart
Run gave us a much better look at Bart's power
Run had MUCH better interaction between Clark and Bart
Run had a way better send off with the race at the end.
I think that it comes down to the fact that Bart was pretty much the focus of the episode in Run, which is why we got a lot of interaction between him and Clark, and cool displays of his power.
In Aqua, there were other storylines going on, which took time away from the interaction and display of A.C.'s power. Although, there is only so much you can show underwater. But the least they could have done, was make the battle go on for longer.
Not to mention the fact that the actor who played A.C. was not that great of an actor, and the word "bro" was used way too damn much.

Plus Aquaman isnt that cool. I just love how him and Bart are mentioning Leagues and in "reality" Clark founds the JLA with Batman and WonderWoman.
