Why was the episode called 'Hidden' ?

Because I hid the remote from my girlfriend while I watched it.

Maybe Jor-El was "Hidden"

Or the silo was "Hidden"

Well maybe since Lana and Clark "hid" their relationship from the Kents, or maybe because the writers are hidding the direction of the shows plots with this whole losing powers crap.

Mmm ... interesting. Well there was a lot of hidden things. That base from where the rocket was launched was "hidden" ... and like somebody said, Jor-El was hidden inside Mr. Luthor.

i thought hidden ment the missle when i first heard about it but maybe if it is something else they can say it in an other episode like last week was mortaland this week they explianed that it was clark being mortal and not what some people thought it ment mortal enemies between lex and clark.

They did refer to silo's hidden all over smallville (JK) and the Military officer stated there were still many hidden and active around here. IMHO

The hidden consequence of getting back his life and powers. Clark got his life/powers but at the expense of the life of a loved one.

okay hidden I think means that now that his powers are back he has to hide them from Lana! ok dumb answer...but seriously what was hidden? Jor el in Lionel body...Lana hiding out in Clark's bedroom...with Clark...

not a dumb question... I was thinking the same thing... Most likely it represented ALL the mystery within the episode... Lion-El, the Silo, Clarks revival, Lana's investigation... all are possible choices why the show was called hidden..

well....here's some things i thought of:

-lex is keeping the spaceship hidden

-clark is keeping his secret hidden from lana (he's still not gonna tell her)

-the missiles were hidden all over smallville

-jor-el was hidden inside lionel

-clark and lana kept their bedroom relations hidden from his parents and everyone else

-since brainiac was a no-show last night, he's still hidden ;)

-chloe knowing clark's secret is still hidden from his parents

-lionel's knowledge of "krypton and kal-el" is still hidden deep inside him, since he can't remember anything from when he was inhabited, thus that knowledge is, in a way, still hidden from lex

-gabriel's dad was the meteor freak, not gabriel. that was hidden from everyone til midway through the episode (since chloe and clark thought gabriel was the FOTW)

this is all i can think of right now. i'm sure there's more. i couldn't find just one thing that was the key "hidden" item. but this is a good thread though, because i thought about that last night when SV came on. someone always says the title of the episode during the episode, but i didn't catch who said it. gonna have to go back and watch it for the 3rd time :)

Another dumb question... what does FOTW stand for?

Freak of the Week and i got the impression that it was either lana and clark hiding from the kents....the missiles that were hidden around smallville...or jor/el hidden in lionel's body

uh. yeah. all of the above makes sense and i can't think of any one line in the ep that indicates only one thing in particular thats hidden. unless... the title has a double meaning where on one level it means everything said in the above posts, including and maybe most importantly the hiding of the remote, and on another level, as has already been suggested, the hiding from the fans of the meaning of the title "Hidden" until some later as yet undetermined time? or not.

ok, i've now seen Hidden 5 times...
i've seen every episode of SV several times, and, as far as i can remember, in every episode, except the Pilot, the title of the episode is said by one of the characters. (someone correct me if there's another episode where the title is NOT mentioned). i kept waiting for someone, anyone to say something about "hidden," but it never came. the word was never uttered. so i'm sticking with what i said in my earlier post here, ^^ #12, along with what others have said, that "hidden" could be referencing a number of things. that's the best i've got :D

2 things, Jor-el was hidden in Lionel is one, but the other I think is the Hidden Consequence with CLark gettin his powers back. They coulda just told us, but they hid it from us. Who will die, we dont know.
