Why was there no media present during this at all? This is a
huge story. I'm sure that someone would have leaked to a reporter somewhere. Think about all that happened, any one of these would be major news.

Nuclear threat on US soil.

Teenager kidnapped by crazed terrorist.

Highly placed military men killed.

Teenager shot and killed rises from the dead and disappers from hospital.

Local Billionare miraculously escapes mental institution and regains sanity.

At the least I would think that Perry and X-Styles would be interested.

Although as the sheriff says, it's just, "Another day in Smallville."

On the humorous side, can you just imagine how Pa Kent would react to the press at his front door asking about Clark?! :eek:

well there not going to make a big deal about it cause they dont want the world to worry plus it is only going to blow up smallville so the rest of the world doesnt need to worry only the town does. i think also smallville is a type of area 51 thing where strange stuff happens and they dont need a bunch of alien cults coming and ruining the town and stuff

That's a nice idea but...

Ever hear of Chernobyl? The nuclear radiation wouldn't just affect Smallville but a good deal of Kansas and the surrounding states.
