Tell me I'm not alone here. I can't be the only one who enjoyed how they got caught by John and Martha and then by Chloe LOL. I was dying in my chair watching that. That has to be one of the most classic moments in Smallville history. She was wearing Clark's trademark plaid haha. I think it was even better then "The crown is mine b*tch" moment in Spirit.

I don't know...."The crown is mine" had me on the floor laughing hysterically for 5 minutes. Although this does rank up there! I had quite an amusing chuckel!

I must say that the moment was comically enhanced by the background music playing at the time.

I was soooo uncomfortable during that scene. So embarrassed for Clark, and to some extent Lana. Really, for everyone.

Clark was so busted!

btw what scene are you referring to with "the crown is mine." I just can't place it.

GatorTex

"The crown is mine" comment came from the episode "Spirit" in season 4 where Dawn took over Clark's body from Chloe and she through Clark makes that comment. Funny as!

While the "Crown is mine *****" line will be the funniest for me, I do agree that this scene was totally funny.

Lana's reaction was too funny when Pa Kent was like "I'd like to speak to my son alone"
Lana's expression was like "Okay, whatever, your on your own Clark, later"

Martha's reactions were pricless.

Chloe expression was totally like "Okay, this is kinda of funny and awkard"

Funny scene all around.

I found that scene very funny ........ I liked how Dad had his hand on Clark's Shoulder when Chloe walked in.......all around great scene........was ROTFLMAOPIMP

Ah yeah I remember that! I was blown away by the intro to that show actually. I was like "Chloe have you lost your mind?!" :p

Yeah, that was great. I got a kick out of Jonathon's reaction; his hand clamped to Clark's shoulder--did anyone notice how when Chloe came in, Clark tried to get up, and Jonathon held him right on that chair. Oh, that was beautiful.

I could not stop laughing...totally felt for both of them, but it was funny! And Chloe's reaction when she came in. Awesome.

Tom was funny but the situation wasn't. They were wrong to do that in his house since his parents wouldn't approve and becasue Jonathan knows Clark is not normal no matter if he's power down. It was disrespectful from both of them and I'd have reamed her for it, too.

Well I don't know if Pa Kent would have felt comfortable yelling at Lana for the situation. But he did take advantage of it with Clark. I missed some of the part when Jonathan was yelling at Clark so I don't know what he said. But I'm sure it would have been quite uncomfortable for the both of them.

And at least they addressed that Clark used protection with Lana. That was pretty responsible of him, if it counts for anything.

I really enjoyed watching TW (who is about 29 years old or so), play the teenager who lowers his head in embarrassment at being caught having sex. What was forthmost on my mind was how he was going to portray that. It was comical.

I'm really pissed off with this scene. Its pretty obvious that what Clark did was stupid, the parents were obviously going to have a heated talk with him. But with all that happened after, this thing will not get talked about again, esp as Clark has his powers back now.

The funny thing is they didn't even try to lie or come up with an excuse, Lana just piped up defending her man! Also if they started out in Lana's place how did they end up at Clark's?

i'm guessing it's a different time.
I think we can assume some time has passed and they've gotten the opporunity to hang out like a normal couple for a little bit.

smalltowngal;

They didn't start out at Lana's.. If I had to guess, I'd say you misunderstood Lana's "I told you we should've gone to the Talon".

Anyways, about them not trying to come up with an excuse.. I was really annoyed with.. well, not that, but kinda that. :)

Why does Jonathan and Martha automatically assume they had sex? I mean, come on.. It's perfectly possible that Lana had just stayed over, or whatever, you know. I mean.. sleep is sleep. Not sex. Perhaps some "accidental" touching, but still... ;)

I guess she was expecting an atomic bomb to go off in johnathans mouth.

Bo Kent ruled in that scene! :D Classic!

Lana: "Clark & I made this decision together, so you should be angry at both of us" (spoken as though no-one would dare get angry at pretty pink Lana)
Bo Kent: "This is about a whole lot more than just you. Get out of my house".
<Lana runs out of the house, fearing the power of Bo>
Bo Kent: "You. Sit down"
<Clark carefully steps around Bo, knowing he'd get a whipping if he got too close>
Bo: "I never thought I had to have this chat with you"
Clark: "Because you always think I'm not normal"
Bo: "You're not normal, you freakin' alien"
<Clark tries to leave> "Nope, you're not going anywhere, powerless boy".

Admittedly I added a line or 2, but the sentiments were there in the scene nonetheless!

I thought the moment was priceless....it reminded me a little of the moment with clark and lois in "Gone" last season. Chloe's reaction was priceless. It was just such an awkward moment!!! I thought Bo Duke was gonna haul off and hid Clark upside the head when he used the excuse "Oh, like you never did it."

Actually, he probably should have....

Yeah I loved those scenes (Lets just say I can relate to the situation) ;) but nothing can touch " Crown's mine b**ch!".
Although the funniest S5 line for me so far is
"Pipe down old man!" from Tommy Lee in 'Mortal'. Its just the way he delivered it:lol:

i was watching this eps at a friend's house and her mom and dad were in the room at the time. they've watched seasons 1-3 on abcfam, but no s4, arrival, or mortal, and my friend's mom goes "so now Clark can.....perform?" so this scene was interesting b/c:
1. Clark and Lana got caught by his parents
2. i watched it with my friend's parents in the room.
3. my friend's mom's question

all in all very awkward, definately memorable!

Oh, and it is funny and interesting to note that all in one episode:

He's chewed out by pa Kent for the Lana morning incident and next toward the end, he's riding a nuclear bomb into space to save the town!!!!! (loved the effects!)

Well, I guess even 18 year old "super heroes" must walk the path!

He seriously said that! Did he have a straight face or was he smirking? How could Tom say that while keeping a straight face - if he did. Must have taken a lot of takes on that line. Again, I haven't seen the episode yet, not till tomorrow when it airs here (Vancouver, Canada) but DAMN, I can't wait to see it! I'm definitely setting my VCR for this episode

The Clana getting busted by the Kents was so funny. This show is so serious most of the time that it is nice to see a bit of humor.
Clark hitting his toe on the bed, Jon Kent being totally pissed off, Martha not knowing what to say, and Lana's expression of "I'm outta here, see ya later Clark".

I'm sure I'm not the only one here who thinks this, but how can anyone have sex when the parents are in the next room or at least down the hall? It's bad enough when it's your friends, but your parents? How can you? I'd be so afraid that they'd hear, whether it's us or the bed squeaking. I mentioned this before but it's not something easy to keep silent. Did Clana really think his parents wouldn't find out?

Oh well, it's just a tv show.

They might not have had sex, they might have just slept.

Of course, that doesn't explain why Lana was shirtless and her shoe was flung onto the dresser. They musta been doin' it ROUGH.

When it's their second or whatever time at having sex? It's possible I guess, to get really good at it that quickly. Man, I getting really naughty thoughts in my mind right now. :D

And that's true, they could have done it in the barn and then snuck into his bedroom to sleep. But wouldn't the Kents wonder what they were up to?
