About the ending scene with Clana

When they apparently finally were 'doing the deed', and the camera was panning over to the window, who was expecting Lex to be standing there with an evil/sad look on his face?:rotfl: That 'good sex, bad Lex' poster had me dreading in my mind the whole time the camera was panning that we were gonna see Lex standing there.

i didnt think that while watching but now that u bring it up it would have been funny. i wonder if thats all for the clark and lana sex and its over with or will they still be doing each other next episode too. i do like how the filmed it tho cause the didnt show them and it was implied unlike with lex having sex they show everyone moving around and bouncing and all that stuff. guess that just shows how clark is the good guy and its private and romantic but lex is bad and its only about screwing.

I was thinking the exact same thing!! I was waiting for a creepy Lex to stare at Clana and smile or something. That would have been really weird. I would be like, "he's a FREAK!!!"

I completely agree...VERY disappointing that TPTB would tarnish Superman's purity for the sake of Clana ratings...it sends a TERRIBLE message (at least you could blame his other misdeeds on red or black kryptonite). Somehow, I'm hoping (in futility) that they didn't go all the way so that Clark won't lose his purity until after he consumates his marriage with Lois, but alas...

Hmmm, Lex set up the filming of Chlark's breaking into LutherCorp, and he does own the Talon...ewwwww.....but I wouldn't put it past him at this point. :\

Up untill last night I believe that they have trenish Clark's image with Clana sex but then I thought about it for a second after seeing the last sene in the episode and realized that Clana are in love at this point and that it makes sense for them to loose there virginity to one another. It was done tastefully and shows that going all the way is meant to be romantic and shared with somebody you love. I'm saying this and i'm a Clois fan.

as much as i hate clana i thought the fact that they both expressed their love for each other and pretty much commented on the fact that it was special. both, more lana than clark, have had meaningful relationships that lasted a long time and still didn't have sex, so i thought the episode was done tastefully.

comics, and art, reflect the time and culture it lives in. a majority of people don't wait for marriage to have sex, and while you may think that's morally wrong i don't think it was done badly, and if gets ratings and keeps a great show on tv i don't care!!!!!!!!

I'm with MBCorp, I expected cameras to be there when they panned out. I was so greatly anticipating it that I actually thought I saw a red light the first time I watched it :lol:. I was just that convinced, but that would be creepy, I shudder at the thought.

Yes. Sex before marriage IS morally corrupt. However, since we live in a corrupt society, most people seem to think its ok.

Based on YOUR morals maybe. But I have had sex and have yet to even become engaged yet I seem to feel pretty good in the moral spectrum of things. In my view your morals are your judgement between right and wrong... not somebody elses.

If you would like to state WHY you think it is morally corrupt we can have a discussion about it rather then you simply telling us what is and what isnt. Because as much as I trust you in all your internetty wisdom, that isnt the kind of statement taken at face value.

In my experience in pre-marrital sex, Ive been able to get rid of some of the tension life throws at me, share an intimate moment with someone I really care about, and get some well needed excercise in the process. I don't feel corrupted or darkened in anyway. So please, explain to me if you will, how the act of sex before marriage has corrupted me.

I just watched this episode again and Clark and Lana's love scene was done tastefully. It could even be watched as a family and young kids would never know what was coming next.

I'm not sure how they got from the Talon to Clark's bedroom, but I think they drove a vehicle. It was a little odd though how they ended up some place different.

As far as the moral question: Those without sin cast the first stone.

I had the same question. I think we are incorrect with the assumption that Hidden is the night after Mortal. During Mortal the Kent house is undergoing renovations. In Hidden that house is totally back to normal. I am certain some time has passed from Mortal to Hidden?!?
Back on topic. I loved Mortal. It was great to watch Clark and Lana freely expressing their feelings for each other. Totally at ease with no angst.
Chloe was also awesome! I loved all her gadgets from ebay!
