Title/Link: Telling and Loving It

Short summary: This happens right before season 3. Some things go just like the show but some stuff I kind of had to make up. Lana is living in the apartment above the Talon already. Clark finally asks Lana out and Lana asks Clark about his secrets.
Chapter 1:
Lana stood alone in The Talon wiping down the counters. The doors were all locked and the chairs were put on the tables just like every night. As she finished wiping down the last area of the last counter, a knock came to the door. She knew who it was even though nothing was officially planned for tonight. It was the same person that came to see her every night after The Talon closed. She quickly walked over to the door and unlocked it.
“Hi Clark.” Lana said as she opened the door even without seeing who it was.
“How did you know it was me?” Clark asked as he walked through the door.
“You come to see me everyday after The Talon closes.”
“No I don’t.”
“Yes you do.”
They both walked away from the doors and sat down on a couch.
“Ok fine, I do but only because I want to make sure you are okay.”
“Well thank you very much. Now what movie do you want to watch?”
“How do you know I want to watch a movie?”
“We end up watch a movie every night, so just pick one.”
“Why don’t you pick one?”
“Ok, I will. How about ‘The Notebook?’”
“’The Notebook’ it is.”
“I will put the movie on and you can go find us some seats in the theater.”
“Will do.”
Clark and Lana walked into the movie theater. It was one of the perks of owning part of The Talon; she had her own movie theater. Lana went to put the movie on as Clark went to get two seats in the middle of the theater. Soon after, Lana took her seat next to Clark as the movie started. As the movie went on, Lana grew more and more tired. She soon fell asleep with her head resting on Clark’s shoulder. Clark soon realized this and decided to carry her up to her apartment where she would be more comfortable on her bed. He slowly lifted her off her seat with one arm underneath her legs and one underneath her back. Lana put her arms around Clark’s neck even though she was still asleep. Clark carried her up the stairs leading to her apartment. The door was always unlocked now since Lana always fell asleep during the movie and Clark always carried her up to her room. When he reached the top of the stairs, Clark opened the door and walked into Lana’s apartment. He walked over to her bed and laid her down. Clark pulled the covers over her body and smiled when she smiled. He walked back down to the movie theater and turned the movie off as well as all of the lights before walking out of The Talon. He had been going to see Lana every night for two months now. Lana thought it was before he was worried about her living by herself but what she didn’t know what the real reason that he was going there every night to ask her out but never got the courage to do it. He finally got enough courage and decided that he would ask her out the next night. If he didn’t, the he told himself he would never do it. Tomorrow would be the night that Clark Kent asked Lana Lang out.
Tell me if you like it. It gets better in the later chapters, trust me.

Chapter 2:
The next morning, Clark awoke to the sunlight beaming through his window in his room. He slowly lifted himself off the bed and landed his feet on the wooden floor as he looked around his room to see pictures of his friends on his dresser. Clark walked over to the pictures and quickly looked at all of them but when he got to a picture of Lana, he stopped and looked at it a little longer like he was looking at her for the first time ever. After looking at the picture, he super speeded around his room making the bed and getting dressed. He then walked downstairs to see both of his parents eating breakfast.
“Good morning Clark.” His mother said after finishing her cup of coffee.
“Good morning, mom. Good morning, dad.”
Clark walked over to the coffee put and poured himself his usual cup of morning coffee.
“Aren’t you guys usually having breakfast way before me?” Clark asked as he took the seat that his mother was sitting at before she got up to put her dishes in the sink.
“Yes but remember that we are going to Metropolis for the weekend?” His father answered and asked.
“Right. I forgot about that.”
“Hopefully you didn’t forget about the no party rule.” Clark’s mother said.
“Of course not. You remind me every time you go away for the weekend.”
“Good. We should get going now. We will be back Monday afternoon. All of the phone numbers that you will need in case of an emergency are by the phone. If you need anything just call and…” His mother explained.
“No parties. I know, I know. Go now. Everything will be fine. I promise.”
“Ok Clark. I love you. Bye.” Clark’s mother said as she walked out of the door with her husband following.
“Bye.”
The parents were off to Metropolis. Clark ate his breakfast and went off to do his chores. He decided that he didn’t need to use his super speed since he really didn’t have anything planned until later that night when he would ask Lana to be his girlfriend. Clark had a million different ways that he could ask Lana out but nothing seemed right. He finally decided that he would just come out and tell her how he felt. As time rolled by and the sky grew darker, Clark realized that it was time to leave. He got into the car and started to drive while replaying everything that he was going to say to Lana tonight. He also thought about telling Lana about his abilities but didn’t seem like the right time but then again, when is the right time to do anything? Clark pulled up in front of The Talon and parked the car. The sign on the door said ‘CLOSED’ but for Clark Kent it was never closed. He walked up to the door and knocked one, two, and three times before he heard footsteps approaching followed by the sound of a key unlocking the door.
“Hey Clark.” Lana said.
“Hi Lana.”
Clark walked in and then turned around to face Lana.
“Can we talk?” He asked.
“Of course. Come on, let’s sit down.”
Both of them walked over to the same couch that they were sitting at yesterday and took a seat.
“Is everything ok, Clark?” Lana asked touching Clark’s arm.
“Hopefully after I say this it will be. Just listen and don’t say anything.”
“Ok.”
Clark took a deep breath before beginning at the beginning.
“Lana, when we were young, we used to play together…”
Lana smiled as the wonderful memories passed through her mind.
“…and since then, since I was five years old, I have liked you. Like soon turned into love. Everyday I see you I want to be with you. Everyday I hear your voice, my heart melts at the thought that you are talking to me.”
Clark got up from where Lana was still sitting and walked a couple feet away from her.
“That’s the real reason I have been coming here every night. It was to ask you out but I always got so nervous and thought that you would say no.”
Before Clark could say anything else, Lana stood up and walked towards him. She took his face in her hands and kissed him. It was the most passionate kiss they ever shared or even had in their lives. Clark put his hands around Lana’s waist and Lana put her arms around Clark’s neck. When they both pulled away, they were both out of breath.
“Does this mean that you like me?”
“No, it means that I love you.”
“Good and I love you too.”
“Can I ask you something?”
“You can ask me anything.”
“You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to but if you want, you know you can tell me your secret.”
“You mean the one about me thinking that you are the most beautiful woman alive?”
“Thank you but no. I am talking about the other one.”
“Your very welcome and I thought about telling you but I don’t know if I should.”
“Can I ask why?”
“Yes, you can.”
“Then why?”
“I am not sure that you will love me after I tell you.”
“So which is better, me knowing and probably accepting it or you always having to keep it from me?”
“The first one but what if you don’t accept it?”
“We will figure out what to do when, or even if that happens, when the time comes.”
“You really want to know, don’t you?”
“Yes I do.”
“I will tell you, on one condition.”
“What?”
“You have to kiss me.”
“Ok.”
Lana leaned in and gave Clark a kiss but when she pulled away and opened her eyes, Clark was not in front of her.

Chapter 3:
Lana looked all around her and couldn’t seem to find out where Clark was until he revealed himself.
“I’m up here.”
Lana looked up at the top of the stairs next to her apartment door where Clark was standing.
“How did you get up there so…”
Soon Clark was standing right in front of her.
“…quickly?” She asked.
“It’s part of my secret.”
“Are you telling me that you can run super fast?”
“Faster than a speeding bullet.”
“Were you infected by the meteor rocks?”
“No.”
“Then what are you?”
“Let’s just say that I am not from Smallville.”
Lana took her seat on the couch as she just stared at Clark.
“Then where are you from?”
“A planet called Krypton.”
Clark sat down next to Lana.
“I’ve never heard of that planet.”
“No one has.”
“How can that be?”
“It exploded shortly after I was sent to Earth by my biological parents.”
“You mean you were sent to Earth by yourself?”
“Yes.”
“What happened to your biological parents?”
“They died when the planet exploded. That’s the reason that I was sent to Earth. My parents wanted to protect me.”
“That’s nice, I guess.”
“I guess.”
Lana stared at Clark, who was looking at the floor, for a moment before Clark began to speak again.
“Wait, are you ok with this?”
“I guess. I need to process all of this though.”
“Then maybe I should tell you the rest later.”
“No. I want to know everything now.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes I am sure.”
“Well here is the part that I think you are going to hate me for. I came during the meteor shower.”
“What?”
“My father used the meteor shower to mask my arrival on Earth.”
“So what you are saying is that the meteor rocks came with you?”
“Yes, because of me, all of those people died including your parents and tons of people became meteor freaks.”
Clark stood up and paced back and forth.
“Just like me. I am a freak.”
Lana got up and took both of Clark’s hands in hers.
“You are not a freak and even if you are, you are my freak. You can’t blame yourself for what happened. You were just a little boy. I am sure that your parents don’t blame you and neither do I. Look at it this way, because of that meteor shower, you were able to come to this planet. If you stayed there, you would have died, your parents would have never had a son and I would have never met this wonderful and handsome man standing before my very eyes.”
“So you aren’t mad at me?”
“No but let’s get this all straight. You were sent to Earth by your parents so that you wouldn’t get hurt when the planet you came from, Krypton, exploded. You arrived on Earth the day of the meteor shower and you have super speed?”
“Yes but unlike the people that got infected by the meteor rocks, I have more than just super speed. I also have super strength, heat and x-ray vision and I am invincible.”
“Wait, x-ray vision?” Lana said as she put her arms in front of her.
“Don’t worry Lana, I have never x-rayed you except once and that was when the ability was still developing and I couldn’t control when it happened.”
“Well ok but I am only letting you off the hook because you said that you couldn’t control it. Do you mind telling me where this happened?”
“Maybe I shouldn’t.”
“Maybe you should.”
“You were in the locker room after gym.”
“I don’t need to hear anymore.”
Lana turned back to sit on the couch.
“Don’t you want to hear what I saw after the towel fell?”
“Clark!”
“I’ll stop but I would like to say something else. I did like what I saw.”
“Well, thank you. Moving on tell me about the super speed. When did you get it?”
“The super speed and the super strength I always remembering having.”
“What about the heat vision?”
Clark once again started laughing.
“What’s so funny?”
“The way I got that ability.”
“What happened?”
Clark too his seat next to Lana.
“Remember the first day of sophomore year?”
“Does this have anything to do with the heat wave?”
“You could say that. Remember how we had a different teacher that day and the sex ed film?”
“You mean the teacher that married Lex?”
“Yes. Well, how person plus sex film.”
“Are you saying that every time you got, well, excited the fire would start?”
“I guess so.”
“So that night at the Talon at The Talon you were the one that started the fire?”
“Yup.”
Lana started laughing.
“That is funny.”
“Don’t you remember that you were the only person here?”
“Oh my gosh. I made you start the fire. I make you excited.”
“I am not going to say anything.”
Lana straddled Clark’s lap.
“That is very good to know. Let’s just hope that you can control it now.” Lana whispered in his ear.
“Don’t worry, I can.”
Lana kissed Clark softy.
“You said something about being invincible.”
“Yes I did.”
“Are you saying that nothing can hurt you?”
“Almost. There is only one thing that can hurt me.”
“And that is?”
“Green kryptonite.”
“What’s that?”
“Sorry, you know it by its other name, green meteor rock. Kryptonite is the real name.”
“That’s what can hurt you?”
“If I am around it for a very long time, I can actually die.”
“My necklace was made out of the meteor rock. All those years I was killing you.”
Lana put her head on Clark’s shoulder.
“It’s ok. I am just glad that you finally took it off.”
Lana lifted her head and looked into Clark’s eyes.
“Me too otherwise I would have never been able to do this.”
Lana kissed Clark once more which left both of them smiling.
(There is a second part to this. I will post it in a couple of hours.)

Chapter 4:
“So is that everything that I need to know?”
“There is one more thing.”
“What?”
“The class rings.”
“What about them?”
“Do you know what they were made out of?”
“No.”
“They were made out of red kryptonite. The green kind affects me physically so the red kind affects me emotionally causing me to forget the consequences of all my actions.”
“Is that why you acted so differently when you put the ring on and when we had our first kiss?”
“Yes but that wasn’t our first kiss.”
“It wasn’t?”
“No, when you were infected by the nicodemus flower, you kissed me right after stripping down to your bra and underwear and jumping into the pool.”
“I didn’t.”
“Oh yes you did and as I said before, I liked what I saw.”
Lana kissed Clark very passionately.
“What was that for?”
“For telling me everything.”
“I am glad that you are ok with it.”
Clark kissed Lana before he picked her up by the waist and put her down next him and then getting up.
“Where are you going?”
“Home.”
“Why?”
“Because it’s really late.”
“Oh ok. Can you at least carry me up to my room like you usually do?”
“Of course I can.”
Clark picked Lana up the same way he had been doing for two months now. Lana put her arms around Clark’s neck and just looked at him as he slowly carried her up the stairs. To both of them, it seemed like it went by too fast.
“It’s good to have you awake while I carry you up the stairs this time.”
“I guess I should tell you my secret then. I never actually fall asleep. The first couple of times I did but after I realized that you would carry me up to my room, I pretended that I was asleep just so I could have you hold me.”
“Sneaky, sneaky.”
“Well what can I say?”
Clark reached the door and slowly opened it. He walked over to her bed and attempted to put her down but Lana wouldn’t let go of him.
“Lana, you really have to let go.”
“Why?”
“Because I should get going.”
“Didn’t you say a couple of days ago that your parents were going to be out of town?”
“Yes.”
“I don’t want you to stay by yourself.”
“I have stayed by myself before.”
Lana rolled her eyes because Clark couldn’t figure out what she was talking about but soon realized what she was trying to say.
“Oh, you want me to stay here with you?”
“Yes, I do.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes, I am sure.”
“Ok, I will be on the couch.”
“Why don’t you stay with me on my bed?”
“I don’t know if that is such a good idea.”
“I won’t try anything, I promise.”
“It’s not you I am worried about. I don’t know if I can control myself when I am alone with you in a bed where I know that no one will walk in on us.”
“Clark, come on, if you try anything I will push you off the bed.”
“You promise?”
“I promise.”
“Ok.”
Clark put Lana down on the floor before he walked over to the other side of the bed. He took off his shoes, his white t-shirt and got underneath the covers. At the same time, Lana had gone into the bathroom to change into her pajamas. She too got underneath the covers when she came out. Lana got very closer to Clark and put her head on his bare chest. Clark wrapped his arms around her and kissed the top of her head.
“Lana?” Clark whispered.
“Yes Clark?”
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”

Chapter 5:
Yesterday, Clark woke up to the sun shining through his window but today Clark woke up to the sun shining through Lana’s window, along with the soft kisses that Lana was placing on his chest.
“Good morning.” Clark said as Lana got closer to his lips.
“Good morning.” Lana said before kissing him.
“How did you sleep?”
“Fine and you?”
“Great because I was near you.”
Lana blushed as she looked away for just a moment.
“I wanted to ask you something.” Lana said.
“Go ahead.”
“When are your parents coming back?”
“Tomorrow afternoon, why?”
“I was wondering if you wanted to stay here again.”
“I guess that is ok but I do have to go home today.”
“Why?”
“I have chores to do and I need to change my clothes. I also have to take a shower and eat breakfast.”
“I have to do all of that too except instead of chores, I have to work.”
“I should get going then.”
“Ok.”
Lana lifted her body off of Clark’s. Clark lifted himself off of the bed and made his way to the chair where he put his shirt on the night before. He then walked over to Lana, who was still wrapped in the sheets and gave her a kiss on each cheek.
“I love you.” Clark said with a smile.
“I love you too.”
Clark walked towards the door when Lana called him.
“Clark, wait!”
Lana walked towards him.
“One of us has to tell Chloe.”
“I’ll tell her.”
“Ok. Bye.”
Clark gave him another kiss before he walked out of the apartment. Clark walked down the stairs getting numerous stares from the regular Sunday morning coffee drinkers. A pair of those eyes belonging to none other than Chloe herself. Clark saw her by the counter and walked towards her.
“Chloe, do you mind telling me why everyone is starring at me?”
“Maybe it’s because you just came out of Lana Lang’s apartment with your hair all messed up and your shirt inside out.”
Clark checked his shirt realizing that Chloe was right and tried to fix his hair so it didn’t look so messed up.
“It’s not what you think. We didn’t do anything.”
“Then why is your shirt inside out and your hair is messed up?”
“I slept over because I was here pretty late after hanging out with Lana. She saw that I was really tired and she didn’t want me driving so I crashed on her couch. The reason my shirt is inside out is because I didn’t check it before I left and I never sleep with my shirt on. My hair is messed up because you hair tends to mess up when you are sleeping.”
“Ok.”
“I actually wanted to talk to you about something.”
“What is it?”
“Would it be too weird if Lana and I started dating?”
“No, of course not, why?”
“I asked her out yesterday.”
“It’s about time.”
“Thanks, I think.”
“I better get going. This was just a pit stop.”
“Ok, I will see you later. Bye.”
“Bye.”
Chloe walked away heading towards the door when she bumped into Lex who saw her wiping tears from her eyes.
“I hope I didn’t hit you that hard, Chloe.”
“It’s not that. Sorry Lex, I have to go.”
“Bye.”
Chloe finished walking out of The Talon as Lex walked towards Clark.
“What happened to Chloe?” Lex asked as she reached the counter.
“I think that it was me.”
“What did you do?”
“Started dating Lana.”
“You finally asked her out?”
“Yes I did.”
“Tell me that’s why you shirt is inside out.”
“I am not like you, Lex. I don’t sleep with every single woman I date.” Clark started before leaving his side.
While heading towards the door, Lana came down the stairs.
“Hey there, handsome.” She said.
“He beautiful.” Clark said before pulling her in for a kiss.
“I told Chloe.” He added.
“What did she say?”
“It’s about time but then Lex saw her crying on her way out.”
“Do you think I should talk to her?”
“Wait a little bit. I also told her that I slept on the couch.”
“That’s a good idea.”
“I thought so but I think Lex thinks otherwise.”
“Why? What did you say?”
“Nothing except that we are going out but have you noticed the way that I am dressed?”
“What is wrong with the way you are dressed?”
“My shirt is inside out.”
“I should have told you that.”
“You knew?”
“Yes but I thought that you were going straight home.”
“Oh well. What’s done is done. By the way I forgot to mention yesterday that you can’t tell anyone my secret. The only people that know are Pete and my parents.”
“My lips are sealed.”
Lana kissed Clark and he just smiled.
“I will see you later at the same time?”
“You bet.”
Chapter 6:
Clark walked down the main street of Smallville with a red rose in his hand for his new girlfriend. At the same time yesterday, he was asking Lana to be his girlfriend. The whole way from his house, he smiled thinking of the way she accepted him for who he really was and the way that she wanted him to sleep in the same bed. He thought that she was the best woman in the world and nothing would ever change that. When he approached The Talon door, he knocked three times before he heard a voice coming from behind.
“Who is it?” Lana asked.
“Lana, you know who it is.”
Lana began to laugh.
“No, I don’t. Now reveal your identity.”
Clark smiled and decided that he better just play along. It was worth it to see his beautiful girlfriend sooner.
“It’s your boyfriend, Clark Kent. The one that you love and spent the night with yesterday. The one that also loves you and has something to give you.”
Lana quickly opened the door when she heard that Clark had a gift for her.
“Oh now I know who it is.”
Clark walked inside and Lana locked the door behind him. She threw her arms around Clark as he put his arms around her waist. She jumped up and wrapped her legs around his waist.
“Well this is a very good hello.”
“I haven’t seen you since this morning. I missed you.”
“I missed you too.”
“Clark, can you do me a favor?”
“Anything.”
“Give me my gift now.”
“What gift?”
“Outside, you said that you had something for me.”
“Oh right. I forgot about that.”
Clark brought the rose from behind Lana’s back up to her face.
“This is for you.”
“Oh Clark, it’s beautiful. Thank you.” Lana said as she took the scent of the flower in.
“Your welcome. There is one more thing I want to give you.”
“What?”
“This.”
Clark gave her the first kiss of this evening before gently on the floor.
“That was a great gift.” Lana said out of breath.
“Thank you.”
“Come on, let’s go and watch a movie.”
“Which movie?”
“You can choose.”
“How about ‘Red Eye?’”
“I have wanted to see that.”
“Great.”
Lana and Clark walked over to the movie theater. Lana went to put the movie on as Clark picked out the seats. Lana quickly returned to her boyfriend of one day and sat to the right of him. Clark put his arm around Lana as she put her head on his shoulder, both ready for the movie to start. Every so often, they would love at each other and kiss each other’s cheek but they mostly watched the movie. When the movie was over, both of them got up. Lana turned off the movie before both of them made their way to the top of the stair. Lana kissed Clark very passionately. Clark didn’t know what was going though Lana’s head and neither did Lana. She didn’t know why she suddenly felt the urge to be with Clark in more ways then just kissing and hugging. Lana was now in the same position that she was in early. He arms were around his neck, legs wrapped around Clark’s waist with his arms wrapped around her back holding her in place. Clark reached for the doorknob and opened the door. He moved both of them inside, closing the door behind them. Clark carefully walked, with Lana still attached to his body, over to the bed where he placed Lana on the bed.
“Clark, wait.” Lana said trying to catch her breath.
“I am sorry. We are moving to fast. I’m sorry.”
Clark got off Lana and stood up.
“No, Clark. It’s not you trust me. I am the one that started kissing you remember? I just wanted to know if you want this.”
“Of course I want it. The question is if you want it because if you don’t then we can just stop and continue kissing and not move from there.”
“Clark, I want this too.” Lana said as she moved off the bed towards Clark. She took her hands and placed them on Clark’s face.
“I want you Clark.”
They were soon kissing again. Lana moved Clark towards the bed, pushing him on it. Lana straddled Clark, who was lying down on the bed. She slowly pulled Clark’s shirt over his bed revealing his very well built body. Lana ran her hands over Clark’s body reaching his neck and then kissing him on the lips. Clark turned Lana over so she was on the bottom now and unbuttons her shirt. He peeled it over showing her red push up bra. Soon, all the clothes were off and the two were extremely satisfied. They were now underneath the sheets of Lana’s bed.
“Wow.” That was the only word that Lana could come up with.
“So it was good for you too?”
“Wow.”
Clark let out a small laugh before kissing Lana on the top of her head. Clark had his arms around Lana as Lana had her head on Clark’s bare chest just like the night before.
“I hope I didn’t hurt you.” Clark said.
“Clark, you could never hurt me.”
“Good.”
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”
They soon fell asleep in each other’s arms once again.
The next chapter will either be up today or tomorrow.

Chapter 7:
Clark and Lana have been dating for about a year and a half now and they were inseparable. Clark’s mom, Martha, feels like she has another child now, even though she really does. Eleven months ago, Martha and Jonathan had a little boy named Adam. Clark is currently on his way to pick up his girlfriend so that she can spend Christmas with his family. He parked the car outside The Talon and walked inside. Lana had left the door unlocked so that Clark could just walk in just in case she was still getting ready and couldn’t answer the door. He quickly ran up the stairs and opened the apartment door.
“Lana, honey, I’m here.” Clark yelled as he closed the door behind him.
“Hold on, Clark. I just have to finish putting my earrings on and I will be ready.”
“Make sure that you choose your earrings carefully. You know how my little brother has a fascination with earrings.” Clark said taking a seat on the couch.
“I know. I think he almost ripped off part of my ear last time I saw him.”
“I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be. It’s not your fault.”
Lana walked towards Clark and sat on his lap.
“Lana, you know that I am not Santa Claus.”
“Shut up.”
“What? You know it’s funny.”
“Yes it is but do you know how many times you have said it already?”
“Nope, how many?”
“Since Thanksgiving was over.”
“Have not.”
“Yes you have. Now let’s get going.”
Lana got off of Clark and pulled him off of the couch. She picked up the Christmas gifts and both of them walked out of the door. Lana locked all of the doors leading to her apartment and The Talon since it was closed for Christmas Day. Clark opened the passenger side door of the red truck and helped Lana in before getting in the driver’s seat and then they were off to The Kent Farm. When they reached the door of the yellow house, the smell of home cooked food greeted them. Clark opened the door letting in Lana first.
“Hi Lana. Merry Christmas.” Martha said as she went in for a hug.
“Merry Christmas Mrs. Kent.” Lana said returned the hug.
Lana and Clark walked over to the beautifully lit tree and put the gifts that Lana brought for the Kents underneath before sitting on the couch waiting for dinner. Before they knew it, dinner was eaten, gifts were exchanged and Clark and Lana were about to leave.
“Mrs. Kent, I want to thank you for inviting me to dinner. It was wonderful and I had a fantastic time.”
“You don’t have to thank me. You know that I consider you my own daughter. You are always welcome here.” Martha said hugging Lana.
“Goodbye Mr. Kent.” Lana said giving Jonathan a hug.
“Bye Lana.” He said returning the hug.
Lana bent down and hugged Adam before giving him a kiss on the cheek.
“Bye Adam.”
All Adam did was wave goodbye before Lana and Clark walked out of the house and drove back to Lana’s apartment. They walked inside the apartment.
“You know that my mother loves you.” Clark said as he closed the door behind both of them.
“I love your mother too. I love your whole family.”
“Do you know who else loves you?”
“Who?”
“Me.”
“Really?”
“Yes.”
“How about you show me how much.”
“Ok.”
Clark kissed Lana very passionately.
“Do you want to stay here tonight?” Lana asked.
“Sure.”
Clark and Lana moved into the bedroom. Clark removed his shirt and his shoes and put himself underneath the covers while Lana changed into her pajamas before getting into the bed.
“Clark, I’m cold.”
“Let me warm you up.”
Clark pulled Lana very close to him and put his arms around Lana’s body as Lana put her head on Clark’s chest.
“Maybe I should turn on the fireplace.” Clark said.
“Maybe you should.”
Clark used his heat vision and started a small fire in the fireplace.
“I love that you have that ability. You can start the fire without leaving my side.”
“Thank you.”
They watched the fire for a little bit before they fell asleep both dreaming of each other.
Sorry that it is short but I needed it for another chapter that I am going to post tomorrow or the next day.

Chapter 8:
Lana awoke to the sound of the shower running in her bathroom. She smiled at the thought of Clark naked and wet. Lana pulled herself away from her bed and found herself walking into the bathroom.
“Good morning, Clark.”
“Good morning, sweetie.”
Lana walked over to the sink and started washing her face. She grabbed a towel that was close to the sink and began to wipe the water off of her face. The mirror in front of her wasn’t that fogged up from the steam of the hot water, so when she saw what was in the mirror, she screamed.
“Lana, what’s wrong?” Clark said sticking his head through the shower curtain.
“What is this?” Lana said sticking up her hand to show the diamond ring.
“It looks like an engagement ring.”
“Why is it on my finger?”
Clark turned off the water and pulled the curtain to the side. He got out and put a towel around his waist. Clark walked up to Lana.
“I put it there when you were sleeping.” Clark whispered in her ear before walking out of the bathroom.
Lana stood there confused before walking over to her bedroom where Clark was putting on boxers and jeans.
“What do you mean you put an engagement ring on my finger when I was sleeping?” Lana said.
Clark walked over to Lana and got down on one knee.
“I put that ring on your finger because I want you to marry me. So what do you say, will you marry me?”
A single tear fell down Lana’s cheek. She was speechless. Clark stood up from kneeling and look into Lana’s eyes.
“Lana, I know that you probably can’t talk right now but could you maybe nod or do something that would signal your answer.”
Lana jumped up into Clark’s arms with her legs around his waist and kissed him so passionately.
“I am definitely going to take that as a yes.”
“You should because my answer is yes. I would love to marry you, Clark Kent.”
“I am so glad you said that.”
“I am glad too.”
Lana kissed Clark once more before they fell on top of the bed.
I am sorry for the delay. I hope that you like it and that it was worth the wait.

Chapter 9:
Lana awoke a couple of hours later. She looked to her left and saw Clark sleeping. She smiled when she saw his smile. She looked to the right and outside the window. Lana looked at her right finger on her left hand. The diamond ring sparkled. She was happy. She was in love. She felt an arm reach around her waist.
“Good morning, again.” Clark whispered in her ear.
Lana let out a small laugh.
“Why Clark?”
“Why what?”
“Why did you purpose? Why do you want me to be your wife?”
“I want you to be my wife because you are the most beautiful woman I have ever met. You are kind, sweet, caring, intelligent and most of all you love me for me.”
“That was nice, Clark. Thank you.”
“What about you? Why did you say yes?”
“Because you look really good naked.”
“Lana, really, why did you say yes? And thank you.”
“Your welcome and I said yes because you are also very kind, sweet, caring intelligent, and you trusted me with your secret. Also because you look really good naked.”
“That was nice too and thank you once more. You look very good too.”
Lana laughed.
“What about your parents? What are they going to say about us getting married?”
“I think they will be ok with it. We can go and talk to them right now.”
“I would like that. Clark, weren’t you supposed to be home yesterday night instead of this morning?”
“I told my parents that I wanted to spend Christmas with you and I told them that nothing would happen last night.”
“But something did happen this morning.”
“I said that I told them that nothing would happen last night, not this morning.”
“Sneaky.”
“I did learn from the best.”
“Who?”
“You.”
“How am I sneaky?”
“When I asked you out and told you my secret, you invited me up here. The first night nothing but the second night, you took advantage of me.”
“How did I take advantage of you?”
“You kissed me and that made me weak.”
“Really? So I guess I took advantage of you just now and all of those other times we had sex.”
“Yes, you took advantage all of those times.”
“Then when do you take advantage of me?”
“How about the honeymoon?”
“Sounds good.”
“I think we should get dressed and go.”
“Go where?”
“Tell my parents, Chloe, Lex. Everyone.”
“Right now?”
“Yes, why not?”
“I just want to stay in bed. Can we tell them tomorrow?”
“Sure.”
Clark kissed Lana on the cheek.

Chapter 10:
Jonathan, Adam and Martha Kent had been told, so had Chloe, Pete and Lex. The Kents were excited to get a daughter and sister in law, Chloe and Pete couldn’t stop smiling and Lex offered to pay for everything as usual. Lana and Clark hadn’t started planning since Lana still had two more people to tell. She drove down a dirt path on her way to tell them thinking of what she would say. Lana didn’t tell Clark who she was going to tell. She just said that she had two more people to tell. She parked the car and started walking on the grass that led her to her parents. Lana kneeled down next to the headstones and began to speak.
“Hi mom. Hi dad. It’s been a long time since we last talked. I think the last time might have been my freshmen year. That was about three and a half years ago. I am now a senior. I will graduate in June. I don’t live with Aunt Nell anymore. She moved to Metropolis with Dean, her new husband. I now live in the apartment above the Talon. I got it back up and running. I couldn’t see it falling apart. It is where you two met and I want to keep it forever. The real reason that I am here is to tell you both some very important news. I am getting married. Remember Clark Kent? You met him freshmen year, well, we have been dating since our sophomore year and he proposed yesterday. I said yes as your probably already know. Clark is a really nice guy. He is smart, kind and loves me very much. We haven’t started planning anything because I wanted to tell you first. He doesn’t know that I am here. I didn’t want to tell him that I was going to talk to my parents because I thought that he would think I was stupid for talking to the dead.”
“Your not stupid for talking to them.”
Lana turned around and saw Clark leaning against a tree.
“Clark, I didn’t know you were there. How long have you been there?”
“Since you first got here. I was wondering where you went. I am sorry if I scared you.”
“It’s ok. Next time just tell me that you are here please.” Lana said getting up and walking towards Clark.
Clark embraced Lana in a warm hug and they both walked over to the graves.
“Mr. Lang, Mrs. Lang, I want you to know that I will take care of Lana. I won’t let anything happen to her because I love her very much and I know that she loves me very much as well. I won’t ever hurt her or leave her.” Clark said.
“They said that they believe you. My dad says that you sound like a great guy and my mom wants to know when grandchildren are coming.” Lana said.
“Trust me Mrs. Lang, when we are married, we will get right on that. What’s that? Lana, she said that we could get started now.”
“Sorry mom but not now, maybe later.” Lana laughed.
“I think we should get going. It’s getting late and we have dinner plans.” Clark said.
“Right. Sorry mom and dad but my fiancée and I have to have dinner with his parents, little brother and our friends.” Lana said.
“Come on Lana.” Clark said.
Lana bent down and placed a kiss on each headstone. Clark and Lana both started walking to Lana’s car. They got in and started driving towards the Kent farm. When they got to the farm, Clark helped Lana out of the car and they both walked inside. In the living room sat Jonathan and Martha Kent, Chloe Sullivan, Pete Ross and Lex Luthor with little Adam sitting on his lap.
“Finally they get here.” Chloe said.
“Sorry but we had a couple more people to tell.” Lana said.
“Let’s all sit down. Dinner is ready.” Martha said from the kitchen bringing the last tray of food to the dining room table.
“Mrs. Kent, I have to say, the food smells wonderful as always.” Lex said as he took a seat.
“Thank you Lex.”
Jonathan took a seat at the head of the table with Martha at the opposite end. Clark and Lana occupied one side with Adam on the high chair next to Lana. Pete, Chloe and Lex were on the other side of the table.
“Everyone please dig in.” Martha said.
Everyone started to pile Martha’s wonderful food on their plates. They shared smiles, laughter and stories. When the dinner was done, dessert came.
“I made chocolate cake because I know that it’s Clark and Lana’s favorite.” Martha said as she went to the fridge.
“Thanks mom.” Clark said.
“No problem. It was nothing.” She said.
Martha brought the cake to the table and cut a piece for everyone.
“Cake, cake.” Adam said clapping his hands together.
“Do you want some cake Adam?” Lana asked holding a plate in front of him.
Adam nodded his head up and down as everyone laughed. Lana gave a piece of cake to Adam who, of course, made a mess. With everyone eating their cake, Clark and Lana thought it would be the right time to announce something.
“If I could please have everyone’s attention, I have things to say. As all of you know, Clark and I are getting married and we need to start planning soon if we want to have the wedding during the summer. So, Chloe, if you don’t mind, will you be my maid of honor?” Lana asked.
“Oh Lana, I would love to.” Chloe said.
“Lana has her maid of honor and now its time for my best man. It was a really hard decision because it’s either Pete or Lex. I couldn’t choose so would both of you mind being my best men?” Clark asked.
“Sure.” Pete and Lex replied in unison.
“That means that we need a ring bearer, which of course will be Adam.” Lana said.
“Does that mean that you have the whole wedding party done?” Martha asked.
“No, I need another bridesmaid.” Lana said.
“How about Lois?” Chloe asked.
“That’s right, I forgot about her. I will call her when I get home.” Lana said.
“That means the wedding party is done.” Clark said.
“What about flower girls?” Pete asked.
“I have two little cousins that are about the same age as Adam.” Lana said.
“I am sure that all three of them will look so cute.” Martha said.
“Dresses.” Chloe said.
“What about dresses?” Lana asked.
“You need a wedding dress, bridesmaids dresses and the flower girls’ dresses along with tuxedos for Lex, Clark, Pete and Adam.” Chloe said.
“You have thought about my wedding a lot haven’t you?” Lana asked.
“No, I just have been watching too many wedding shows.” Chloe answered as everyone laughed.
“Well then Chloe, you can help me plan everything.” Lana said.
“What about me? Do I get to help plan anything?” Clark asked.
“We can talk about that later.” Lana said as all three women started laughing.
“What was that laugh supposed to mean?” Lex asked.
“Nothing, Lex. It’s just that even when I was planning my wedding to Jonathan, he couldn’t plan anything. I would ask him something and he would just say ‘Martha, I don’t know.’” Martha said.
“I think what I said was ‘Martha, I love you but I don’t know.’” Jonathan said.
Everyone shared another laugh before they finished their chocolate cake.
“Mom, this dinner was wonderful. Thank you but I have to take Lana home and we have to discuss a couple of things with the wedding.” Clark said.
“Sure sweetheart.”
Martha, Clark and Lana got up and went towards the door.
“Thank you Mrs. Kent, for everything.” Lana said as she gave Martha a hug.
“Lana please, call me Martha.” Martha said.
“Sure Martha.” Lana said with a smile.
“Bye everyone.” Lana said looking into the living room where Lex, Chloe, Pete and Jonathan were all seated.
“Bye Lana. Bye Clark.” They all said.
Lana walked out of the house and towards the car leaving Martha and Clark at the door.
“Clark, can I talk to you outside?” Martha said.
“Sure mom.”
Martha and her son walked onto the porch.
“Clark, have you and Lana discussed where both of you are going to live?” Martha asked.
“No but I will talk to her tonight.” Clark answered.
“That’s good. You still have a week of vacation so try and get some planning today this week.”
“We will.”
“If you need to, you can stay over at Lana’s house for a couple of days. Just make sure you come by to do your chores.” Martha said.
“Thanks mom.”
Clark gave his mom a hug and walked to the car. Martha watched her son help Lana into the car and drive off.
“What did your mom say?” Lana asked grabbing Clark’s hand and holding it in her own.
“She said that we need to discuss where we are going to live. She also said that we should get some planning done this week since we have vacation and that I can stay over at your house for a couple of days.”
“Did your mom really say that?”
“What part?”
“The party about your staying over.”
“Yes, she really said that.”
“Your mom doesn’t know what we do at my house, does she?”
“I hope not.”
Lana started laughing.
“It’s not funny. I don’t want my parents to know that we have had sex already.”
Lana laughed again.
“Why are you laughing?”
“I don’t know. I think it was the sugar from the chocolate cake followed by the conversation of your parents knowing what you do between the sheets.”
Clark looked at Lana when he was stopped at a red light.
“Did you just say between the sheets?” Clark said.
“What’s wrong with the phrase between the sheets?”
“Nothing. Nothing at all.” Clark said as he pulled away from the red light that turned green two seconds before.
“What is wrong with your parents knowing that we have had sex? I am sure that they know already.” Lana asked.
“How would they know? I don’t do it at home so they possibly couldn’t know unless you have told them and I doubt that you have done that.”
“I haven’t but come on, Clark. Do you really think that you are at my house playing patty cake all the time?” Lana asked laughing.
Clark parked the car in front of the Talon and got out. Before closing the driver’s door, he turned around and spoke.
“Some version of patty cake.”
He walked to Lana’s door and opened it for her.
“Patty cake was a really fun game growing up. I loved it.” Lana said walking hand in hand to the front door of the Talon.
“I still do.” Clark said.
“Shut up.”
Lana opened the front door and let Clark inside. She closed the door and they both walked up the stairs to her apartment.
“Do you want something to drink?” Lana asked placing her things on the counter.
“I don’t think I can eat or drink anything for at least another couple of days. I think I ate too much food today.”
“Me too.” Lana said sitting next to Clark on the couch.
“My mom said that we should try and start planning since we have another week off from school.”
“I think that, that is a very good idea.”
“First, I think we should take care of the most important things.”
“Like what?”
“The honeymoon.”
“We will get to that but if you talk about it one more time, there will be no more honeymoon.”
“I won’t talk about it anymore, trust me.”
“Good now I think that the most important things are where we are going to live.”
“Me too. I think that we can only decide that once we know what college we are going to.”
“What colleges did you apply to?” Lana asked.
“Central Kansas State and Metropolis University. What about you?”
“Metropolis University and UCLA.”
“UCLA? You mean the one in Los Angeles?”
“Yes, Los Angeles.”
“Oh.”
“Don’t worry Clark. I probably won’t take that one. I just wanted to see if I could get in.”
“I am sure that you could get in anywhere.” Clark said giving Lana a small kiss.
“I am sure that you can too.” Lana said giving Clark a kiss.
“Now, I guess we should wait to see where we are going to live when we find out what college we are going to. Right?”
“Right.”
“What else do we have to decide?”
“I don’t know. I have never planned a wedding.”
“Then do you want to maybe wait until tomorrow so we can talk to my mom? Maybe she can help us. I mean she has planned a wedding before.”
“Sounds good. I will call her right now.”
Lana got up from the couch and went to the counter where she had the phone. She dialed Martha’s number.
“Hello.” Martha said on the other line.
“Hi Martha, it’s Lana.”
“Hi Lana. What can I do for you?”
“I am sitting here with Clark and we are trying to plan something but I have no clue what I am doing. So, I was wondering if you could possibly help me plan.”
“I would love to. Why don’t you come by tomorrow?”
“Sure. I will be there tomorrow.”
“Is that it?”
“That’s it. Thank you.”
“Bye Lana.”
“Bye.”
Lana hung up the phone and thought to herself. She didn’t know how long it was going to take to plan a wedding but she was excited that she was going to marry the man of her dreams.

Chapter 11: (College Choices)
With high school almost over, colleges started to accept and reject students left and right. Waiting patiently for Clark, Lana sat in her apartment with two envelopes in her hands. She hadn’t opened them yet but knew that they were acceptance letters by the size of the envelopes. Clark had received his college letters that morning and the two of them decided to open them together. A decision like picking a college was crucial for the both of them. Not only did this decide where they were going to college but it also decided where they were going to live. Lana applied to Metropolis University and UCLA, not thinking that she would get into UCLA. To Lana’s knowledge, Clark applied to Metropolis University and Central Kansas State. When Lana heard the door being opened, she put the envelopes on the coffee table and stood up. Clark walked through the door with three envelopes in his hands. Both were looking like acceptance letters.
“Hey honey.” Lana said walking towards Clark.
“Hey.” Clark said before kissing Lana.
“Come on. I want to see what colleges we are going to choose.” Lana said pulling Clark onto the living room couch.
“All right. Keep your pants on or not.” Clark joked.
“Shut up you sick minded person.” Lana said slapping his arm.
“I was kidding.”
“Just open your letters.”
“No, you open them.” Clark said handing them to Lana.
“Fine but you have to open mine.” Lana said handing her letters to Clark.
“All right. You open mine and I will open yours.”
As they opened each other’s envelopes, Clark and Lana both started getting more and more excited about college even though neither of them knew which college they were going to yet. When Lana had finished opening Clark’s two letters and Clark had finished opened Lana’s two letters, they looked up at each other.
“You got into both.” Clark said.
“You did too.” Lana said.
“Which one are you going to?”
“I guess I am going to Metropolis University.”
“Why?”
“Because that is the only school that we got in together. The only other school I got in was UCLA and I don’t think that being married to someone and living on almost the other side of the country would be good for the relationship.”
“All right but answer this. If I wasn’t here and you got accepted to UCLA and Metropolis University, which one would you choose?”
“But you are here.”
“If I wasn’t. Just pretend for a second and answer my question.”
“I don’t know. I guess I would want to go to UCLA.”
“Then go to UCLA.”
“I already told you I’m not going to do that because I don’t want to live away from my husband.”
“I think you forgot to open one of my letters.” Clark said pointing to an acceptance letter on the coffee table.
“I thought you only applied to Metropolis University and Central Kansas State.”

“Oh yes and we will live in a huge mansion.”
“I’ll talk to Lex about that but what do you say? If we don’t like it, we can transfer to Metropolis University.”
“Are you sure? I mean, I don’t want you to make this decision just because I want to go there.”
“I’m not. I also want to go. Lana Lang, also known as the future Mrs. Kent, there is just a big bonus.”
“Lana Kent. I like the sound of that.”

Chapter 12: (Housing)
Lana had gone to the Kent Farm shortly after their conversation. As Clark was leaving Lana’s apartment, Lex called and said that he needed to talk to him about the wedding. Clark drove over to the mansion and walked into Lex’s office as Lex hung up the phone.
“Hey Clark.”
“Hi Lex. You said that you needed to talk to me.”
“I did. Let’s sit down.” Lex said motioning towards the leather couches next to the fireplace.
“Can I get you anything to drink, Clark?” Lex asked.
“No, I’m fine.”
Clark sat down with Lex sitting across from him.
“As one of you best men, I have been pondering what to get you for a wedding gift. I know that you don’t need help paying for the wedding since Lana’s aunt is paying for that, as you told me already but I was wondering if I could get you something else. Is there something that you and Lana need? Help paying for college maybe?”
“Lana and I applied for financial aid.”
“I can help you there.”
“Lex, really you don’t have to.”
“Clark, you and Lana are my friends. I don’t want to get you the ordinary wedding present like a blender or a toaster. I want to get you two something big. A car? A house? College? Anything that you want.”
“Fine but promise not to tell Lana what I want. I want it to be a surprise.”
“Sure Clark.”
You will probably know what the surprise is. If you check the chapter before this, you will probably figure it out from something Lana said.
