Alright everyone, this is my second fanfic, so if it's horrible tell me, I need to know these things. haha.. This one will have an interesting twist.. alot different than my last story, if you followed it. I hope it interests you, but if it doesn't just say so, and I'll discontinue this story.. Anyway, tell me your thoughts and imput and thoughts on this story so far. Thanks- Alex ;)

She had beautiful curves , and moved with grace, as her dark hair lightly bounced as she walked. She made her way across the floor towards him, and flashed him a nervous amile. Her eyes glistening, as she fluttered her lashes. Her dress was simple but beautiful, white with one black silk ribbon tyed around her slim waist.
Thier eyes met, and locked on each other. Both thier hearts racing thier chests. Faster and faster, it was hard to hear the music now. He took a step closer as she paused thier near the center of the floor, her hands down by her sides, not sure what to do with them.
He felt stiffened, and almost couldn't speak when he finally made it to her. He smiled weakly, and took a deep breath. She looked up at him completely mezmorized, rolling her eyes back and forth waiting to hear his voice. But, at this moment all she could hear was her heart.
He clinched his fists ,and slowly let them relax as he let the deep breath from his lungs. Their eyes still locked, and both standing in quiet awe of each other, he finally broke the silence.
"May I have this dance?" he asked nervous and whole-heartedly.
"I thought you'd never ask." she said grinning first and then taking his hand and letting him lead her out onto the dance floor.
She placed her small hands delicately on his strong strong shoulders, and he place his hands gently around her waist as they danced there in the middle of the floor. She looked up at him, right in his eye saying nothing and everything all at the same time. He just smiled genuinely back at her and gazed deep into her beautiful green eyes. And at that moment, time stood still for both of them, like this moment would never end. And neither one of them wanted it to.
"Forever holding you" he thought to himself ,but almost speaking with his eyes, "that's where I want to be." She layed her head softly upon his chest and slowly close her eyes. She felt so peaceful here in his arms. He gently rest his head on hers as they danced the dance they never wanted to end. He closed his eyes too ,and got lost in this moment that he could have easily mistaken for heaven. She let a small smile come over her face, that she could feel all the way down to her toes.
Clark opened his eyes and for the first time looked across the dance floor. And all at once he noticed Lois sitting at a nearby table with Chloe staring at him. He felt panicky. He didn't know what was happening. He was blinking now, really rapidly now. He'd squint and rub his eyes. Lana didn't seem to notice any of this and kept dancing.
"Clark?! Clark?!" he heard someone screaming. "Clark!!" he was blinking and he felt hot, and now he was even breathing hard. He took his head resesently, back and forth.
"HHhhhhh" Clark breathed out. He shut his eyes closed tight, and finally opened them again taking another deep breath out. "HHhhhhh" he pushed out from his lungs and violently opening his eyes wide. He looked up at the ceiling , panting for breath. "It was just a dream.." he whispered to himself, "it was only a dream" he said again.
"Clark?" came a voice he wasn't expecting.
"Huh?" he uttered surprised as he rolled over on his side to see where the voice was coming from.
"Are you alright? You were screaming, and sweating... did you have a nightmare?" said the voice as Clark's eyes widened in disbelief.
"Lois?" he whispered astonished, raising his eyebrows. She sat up and moved closer to him not taking her eyes off of him. She put her hand on his chin softly and looked into his eyes.
"Is everything okay?" she asked concerned. She moved her hand to his head and turned it backwards feeling his forehead for his temperature.
"Uhh.. I'm fine.. go back to bed." he said still not sure what to think removing her hand from his head. She gave him an odd look and layed back down beside him.
"What is going on?" he thought to himself, "maybe I'll wake up and this will all just be another dream."

Clark turned back over on his side from Lois, a little more than confused. He waited a few minutes until he thought Lois was asleep, he got up slowly and grabbed the keys resting on the night stand next to him. Then grabbed his tan jacket and quietly left Lois's room. When he was finally in the hallway, he didn't recognize the place he was in. He walked down the oak hallway with pictures framed on the walls. There was one of Chloe and Pete , but they looked older than Clark knew them to be. There was one of Lucy and the General. But , then Clark came to one that stole his attention. There hanging on the wall in a wooden frame was a picture of himself and Lana , with two beautiful little children, a boy that look just like Clark, and a girl with little pig tails that looked just like Lana as a child.
For a second, all he could do was stare. Then he slowly moved his hand up to the photo and gently touched the glass above the children. They were so beautiful, but who were they? And Lana, Lana was more beautiful than ever, smiling there beside Clark with her hand on the little girl's shoulder. For a moment Clark's heart just stopped beating.
He turned away from the picture and headed for the door. He opened it and stepped outside with out looking back. He pressed the unlock button on the keychain ring with the keys. As he pressed it a car in the driveway's lights blinked on and off quickly.
"Wow" Clark said quietly. He walked over to the black Lexus sitting in the driveway. He opened the door and sat down in the driver's seat. It was a beautiful leather interior, and dark tinted windows.
"What's going on?" Clark said to himself. "Who's car is this?"
But, right now he didn't care, he just wanted to get home. He didn't know why he would be with Lois. Did something happen that he just couldn't remember? Had he been drinking? He just couldn't seem to figure it out. He drove to the interstate, and realized he was in Metropolis. He was so confused. He drove straight home to the Kent farm.
When he got there he immediatly stepped out of the car. He leaned against the car hood looking at the farm. It wasn't the same the last time he saw it. It was more wethered and wore than just the other day when he saw it. Nothing was making sense to him. He walked to the front door and walked in.
"Mom?" he called, "Dad?.. hello?" his voice was shaking. He called up the stairs again and then stepped back and sat down in the corner near the door. He put his head in his hands and closed his eyes.
"Make this go away" he whispered his sincere wish softly.

"Clark?" came his mother's voice from the stairs. He looked up and stood beside the doorway. "Sweetheart, what are you doing here? Are you alright?" she said rushing down the stairs to him. She hugged him gently. "Clark, what's going on?" she asked looking up at him.
"I don't know. I just.. I.. I don't know." he said hugging his mom. They walked into the kitchen and sat down at the table. She made him some tea, and then she sat down too. "Mom, where's Dad?" Clark asked. She didn't say anything for a minute, she just looked at him and for a second , really questioned his sanity.
"Clark, your father has been dead for three years now. You know that." she said just staring at him in disbelief. She was really getting worried. Clark just sat there and focused really hard on the table. He was biting down hard and his jaw was visiably moving inside his mouth. He was trying so hard not to cry. But, then finally tears slowly streamed down his face.
"When? Why? What happened?" he said through his tears. He was shaking his head back and forth. "It can't be.." he trailed off.
"He had another heartattack, and this time... he didn't make it." she said almost starting to cry.
"Well, what are you doing here alone?" Clark asked without thinking.
"Well, after you and Lana got married.." she started but Clark interrupted her.
" I got married to Lana?" he asked shocked again.
"Yes, about six years ago.. Clark, what's this all about?" she asked putting her hand on his. "Clark, I think you need to go home, see Lana"
"And where exactly is that?" he asked raising his eyebrow.
"I'll call Pete to take you home, I know he won't mind." she said picking up the phone. Clark just sat there lost in his own thoughts. Mrs. Kent hung up the phone. "Pete will be over in a second, he just lives next door. You want me to wait on the porch with you?" she asked through tired eyes.
"No, I'll be fine." he said not sure how took take all this. Clark walked into the bathroom and turned on the fosset to the sink and splashed water in his face. As he wiped away the water droplets, for the first time, Clark releazied he was different, and more distinguished than before. He looked older and more handsome. "What's happened to me?" he thought to himself.
He walked outside and Pete was already waiting for him.
"Come on ,Clark" Pete call leaing over to the passenger side to yell through the window. Clark ran down the stairs and quickly opened the door and jumped in.
"Pete!" Clark said happily giving him a big hug.
"Haha, what was that for?" he said laughing at Clark.
"Uhh.. nothing.." Clark said realizing that his behavior was a little strange. " ..just happy to see you, that's all." He said sitting back. Pete started down the road and Clark watched him as he drove.
"So, what's wrong ,Clark? Your mom called me to drive you home, you been drinking?" Pete asked looking over at him.
"No, Pete, something's going on. The last thing I remember is I went to sleep tonight, and everything was normal and, then I woke up, and I was with Lois!" he said raising his voice getting a little anxoius. At this Pete slammed on the breaks.
"What man?.. you were with Lois again?" Pete screamed at him. "I thought you said you stopped that! Do you know how lucky you are to be with Lana?" Pete started to get angry. "You have no clue man."
"What? No, I'm not with Lois. I .. I.. just sort of woke up in her bed. But, I'm not with her. I love Lana. I don't even know what's going on Pete! I just woke up there. The last thing I remember , I was in high school, and I went to sleep, and I woke up and now, and now I'm this!" Clark yelled moving his hands to show his body. "Pete , I don't know what's going on." he said putting his head down and nodding.
"Relax man" Pete said starting to drive again. "It's gona be okay. Your a big reporter at the Dailey Planet. You just lost your head for a minute. You must have had a rough day. Just go home, back to your wife and kids and forget tonight ever happened." Pete said trying to calm Clark down.
"Right, I'll just take it easy." he said taking a deep breath. Pete slowed the car now. "Where are we ,Pete?"
"This is your house, right outside Metropolis." he said smiling. "It's pretty beautiful isn't it? Now, go on. Go. I'll see you tomorrow." Pete said as Clark stepped out of the car and closed the door leaning in through the window. And then, Pete slowly pulled away and left Clark there in front of a beautiful house he'd never seen. It had a white picket fence, with a big oak tree in the front yard with a swing. It had a big rap-around porch on the front , and the house was two stories painted white with blue shutters. There was a little pond in the corner of the yard where Clark could hear a from croaking. He took a deep breath out and opened the gate and walked up the little path to the house and opened the door.
There was a stair case right beside the door as he entered. He decided he'd go up the stairs. He tried to be suddle to not wake anyone sleeping in the house.
He went straight to the room at the end of the hall instinctively, not wanting to know what could be in the other rooms. He opened the door and there in a cream colored master bedroom lay Lana, more beautiful than Clark had ever seen her, laying in a queensize bed with wooden carved posts.
Clark took off his jacket , shirt , and shoes and slowly climbed into bed ,as not to wake her. Lana rolled over and cuddled with him, and a small smile crept across her face. She kissed him on the cheek.
"Hey hunnie." she said smiling again. "Long night?" she asked through a raspy sleepy voice.
"Yeah, really long" he said, as if she understood everything that was going on.
"Well, I'm glad your finally home." she said kissing his neck.
"Yeah.." he thought for a minute. "Me too." he said with a smile , and then they both drifted off to sleep holding each other.

Poor Clark. He doesn't know what's going on & neither do we. So keep going, so Clark (& we) can figure it out. I have 2 guesses about what might be going on, but I won't say, so as not to possibly spoil the story. You write it, & if I find out I was right, I'll let you know then - Okay? Great start. Keep posting more. :)

Excellent beginning, I'd love to know what's going on lol. It seems like Clark is in the future, but is he cheating on Lana with Lois? And if so, why have pictures of him and Lana at Lois' house. Or does Clark have two homes? :lol: I'm confused, I can't wait to read more.

okay here's the next part.. it's kinda long so, I'll post more tomorrow.

Clark felt sweet kisses all over his face and started to smile.
"This isn't so bad" he thought to himself. He slowly rolled over to hug and kiss Lana back, but as he opened his eyes and there onto of him licking his face with globs of drool, was a little boston terrior. "Uhh! Yuck!" he said as he pushed the small dog off of him. Clark woke up and realized he was still in this place, he didn't know. His own house, Pete had said. So, there he lay in a big bed confused, with some little hyper dog licking his face. He heard water running, it was coming from the bathroom connected to the master bedroom. He slowly stepped out of bed and nudged the door open a bit to find a beautiful figure moving about in the shower. She was singing and enjoying herself, Clark could tell. He smiled at this because he felt a little more at home.
But, just then the phone rang. Clark really didn't want to answer it, he really just wanted to stay and watch Lana shower, but he ran to grab the phone next to the bed.
"Hello?" Clark asked not sure what to expect anymore.
"Clark, it's me" came Lois's voice from the other end of the receiver. Clark's eyes widened and he started to panick.
"Yeah? Is there something you need?" Clark asked starting to sweat as he heard the water turn off.
"About last night.. what happened? Is everything alright?" she asked wondering if he had second guessed what they had done.
"Umm.. I really don't know right now. But, I don't even remember going to your house, actually I don't even remember you having a house." Clark said as he watched a slender leg come out of the shower.
"What? I'm not sure I understand what you mean? .... Well are you coming to work today?" she asked getting annoyed.
"Umm.. work?" he asked just then remembering what Pete had said last night about the Dailey Planet. "Uhh.. yeah.. I'll be in around nine, I guess." he said hoping that was okay.
"Okay, sure. Well, I'll see you then. Bye Clark." and then Clark heard the dial tone. He sat the phone down on the receiver and then sat on the edge of the bed.
"Hey baby, your up." said Lana coming into the bedroom with a towel wrapped around her. She smiled so wide Clark couldn't help but smile back. She walked right over to him and sat on his lap.
"Yeah, uhh.. I was really tired" Clark said eyeing her body.
"Well, I'm glad." she said smiling as she leaned and to kiss him. But, just as she pecked him, he pulled her back for more, and this time it was no peck. It was a long, deep, passionate kiss, that neither Clark nor Lana was ready to let go of . Clark layed back on the bed as they kissed and Lana layed on top of him.
"Daddy, you're home!" came an excited little voice from the doorway. Both Clark and Lana sat up , Lana wiping her mouth off.
Then, the little girl ran into the room and jumped up on the bed and hugged Clark really tightly , grinning ear to ear. "I'm so happy you're home Daddy" she said as she kissed him on the cheek, and continued to hold her arms around his neck. She finally let go and sat back. Clark smiled at the cute little girl as she did. She looked just like Lana.
"So, beautiful" he thought still smiling. "Wait! Daddy?! I'm a Daddy?!" his thoughts were screaming in his head. But, he didn't want to upset the little girl so he just smiled .
"I'm glad to be home." he said, really glad to be here with Lana.
"Hey, Brooke." Lana said to the little girl. "You need to go get ready for school hunnie" she said brushing the hair out of the little girl's eyes.
"Okay Mommy." the little girl said giving Lana a kiss on the cheek, and then running out of the room ,dragging her teddybear behind her. Clark just smiled and watched the little girl run out of the room. Then he looked back at Lana.
"She looks just like you , ya know" Clark said getting Lana another peck on the lips.
"I know. I'm so proud of our family." she said kissing him back. She got up and went over to the closet. "You need to get dressed Mr. Kent." she said throwing a suit and tie at him. He caught it and gave her a smirk.
"Why.. Mrs. Kent? Can't we just stay like this all day?" he said giving her a misgevious glare.
"Because, you have to go to work. Now, it's your week to drop the kids off at daycare, remember?" she said putting on some clean clothes.
"Uhh.. yeah.. of course." Clark said starting to put on his clothes. When they were both done he went to grab the keys he'd used last night, he realized he'd left his car at the farm. "Uhh.." he said just standing there looking at Lana. "I went to see my mom last night and I kinda left my car there." he said looking guilty.
"Hah.. it's fine. Take the mini-van." she said handing him the keys.
"The min-van?" Clark said looking down at the keys disappointed.
"And here" she said handing him a pair of glasses and some sort of uniform, "wouldn't want to forget these." she said walking into the other room to help the kids get ready.
"What is this?" Clark whispered as he inspected a blue spandex suit with a red and yellow emblem , with a big "S" in the middle. Just then Lana came back into the room.
"I got Andy ready so, you just have to wait on Brooke." She said going into the bathroom to dry her hair.
"Uhh.. okay.. Lana? What is this?" he said feeling stupid like he should know.
"Ha Ha.. very funny, Clark. What would Metropolis do without thier Superman?" she said smiling at him and coming closer to him. Then she put her hands around his waist and looked up at him grinning. "And what would I do without mine?" she said kissing him. She let go and stepped back. "Now get going, you're going to be late." she said slapping his butt. This made Clark jump , but he smiled and walked out of the room, wondering how he got to this wonderful place.

I am really enjoying this! Clark with a family, and not even knowing he is Superman! I am still dying to know what the heck happened to him.

LOIS BETTER NOT BE MESSING WITH THE CLANA! Especially if there are little supermen/supergirls running around. Do the kids have powers? That would be interesting.

This is so cute lol, I love the Clana with kids. But what's Clark doing with Lois? The word bittersweet just screams out to me as I read this story. I can't wait to see more.

Clark stood there in the hallway next to the stairs looking at the wall and all the picture frames of happy memories. The first one he recognized was the one he had at Lois's house. The one with Lana and himself behind thier children looking happy. At this Clark's eyes started to water. How could not remember these wonder moments , these wonderful, beautiful people he called family.
"Why? Why can't I remember?" he said letting a chill go up his spine. He lifted his head and then saw a picture of him and his father on a fishing trip. Clark had never liked fishing, but now he wished he had one last trip with the dad, just to say goodbye. He couldn't believe his father was really gone. He was such a good man. He had made such a difference in Clark's life. Clark never thought that one day he actually have to say goodbye.
Clark took a deep breath in trying to gather himself again. Then he moved to the next picture. It was his graduation picture, just before the meteor shower. Clark smiled remembering his high school days. But, after a second, he didn't know wether to laugh or cry. Because, just then he saw a beautiful wedding picture of himself and Lana kissing under a alter. On the silver frame below read : "You were my first love, and you'll be my last." And beneath that read: "2007, until death do us part." Clark stared at the frame for a second, and then it hit him like a big red truck, he was in the future. He had somehow missed the past eight years. It was like putting the fast forward button on his life.
"What am I doing here? How did this happen?" Clark whispered as million thoughts raced through his mind. His breathing picked up, and closed his eyes tight.
"Please, take me back! Take me back!" he screamed in his mind, but only let a light whisper escape on the outside. And for a moment, everything went silent. Clark slowly opened his eyes.
"Daddy?" came little Brooke's voice from her door way. Clark turned around quickly turned around to face the little girl, as he realized that his pathetic attempt to get back the last eight years of his life had failed.
"Yes hunnie?" he said not used to the name yet.
"What's wrong, Daddy?" she said tilting her head to the side.
"Uhh.. nothing... Brooke" he said trying to remember her name. He liked that name. He had always wanted a little girl with brown curls and green eyes. "Are you ready?" he said coming out of his thoughts and smiling at her.
"Yes, I'm ready." she said sweetly leaning against the doorway with both hands holding a little pink Barbie lunchbox. "Andy!" she suddenly yelled into the room she had just come out of. Just then a little bright-eyed boy , with dark curly hair and blue jean overalls, stomped out of the room.
"Daddy!" he yelled as he ran at Clark slobbering the whole way. Then he ran right over to Clark and wrapped his arms around his legs, and then lifted Clark off his feet. Clark's eyes widened at first, and then he smiled and starting to laugh.
"Haha.. Lana, a little help please!" he yelled into the other room at Lana ,as he couldn't control his laughter. Lana ran into the hallway.
"Now, Andrew Kent" Lana said pointing her finger at the little boy and smirking at Clark, " You put your Daddy down, right now mister." she didn't fold until she saw his head drop down , and he nodded.
"Okay, Mommy." he said setting Clark down. Lana smiled at the little boy and he smiled back.
"Now you guys need to go or you're going to bed late." she said looking at all three of them, Clark, Brooke, and Andy. Brooke and Andy ran over to Lana and hugged her legs, and Lana bent down and hugged them and kissed them goodbye. "I love you guys." She said with a smile. Then she stood up and walked over to Clark with a briefcase, taking the uniform out of his hands and shoving it in the briefcase, and then handing it to Clark. "I love you too ya know." She said kissing his lips.
"Yeah," Clark said smiling , "I love you to Lana." And then Clark picked up Andy in one arm and Brooke carried his briefcase for him so he could hold her hand. They all walked outside ,over to the red mini-van. He strapped Andy into his car seat in the back, and he let Brooke sit in the front with him. Clark closed his eyes and layed his head on the steering wheel.
"I don't know what I'm doing!" he said to himself.
"What Daddy?" asked Brooke who had heard him say something.
"Uhh.. nothing.. I said, you and Daddy are going to play a game." he said forcing a smile at her. "It's called, help Daddy get to the daycare."

I am so sorry.. I know you guys probably hate me for making you wait so long! Everything has been going wrong lately. I got really sick these past couple days, I just felt icky =/ .. anyway.. here is the post that has been long over due.

Clark backed out of the driveway slowly. But, then looked at the clock and realized he only had fifteen minutes.
"Okay, Brooke. Which way do we go first to get to your school?" he asked really hoping his daughter had super sense of direction.
"Uhh.. go left!" she said really quickly pointing right , making Clark jump. "And now, go that way" she said pointing straight. "No! That way!" she yelled pointing left. Clark quickly spun the wheel trying to turn as fast as she gave directions. "Okay, Dad, now that way." she said without pointing.
"Ahh! Brooke! Do you know where we are going or not?!" Clark said raising his voice sternly as the car came to a screeching halt on the side out the road. Brooke's bottom lips started to fold and quiver. Her eyes started to water , as she shyly looked up at Clark. "No, no, please don't cry." he said putting his hands out infront of him , as if he could make her stop with his hands. "Oh, I'm sorry. Please, please, don't cry brooke. I'm sorry." he held out his and she crawled over to him timidly , and hugged him barring her face in his sholder, leaving Clark's sholder all wet with his little girl's tears. He smiled and hugged her back. She sat back down in the seat. "I'm sorry I yelled at you." Clark said as he gave her a sincere look that he was really sorry.
"It's okay, Daddy" she said smiling as Clark leaned over and wiped the tears from her eyes.
"How old are you now Brooke?" Clark asked thinking she was extrodinarily bright.
"Four" she said holding up four fingers and flashing him a huge smile. She looked just like Lana, Clark thought to himself, so beautiful and kind.
"Well, you know something? You're pretty smart for a four year old." he said smiling. Andy started laughing in the back, pounding his hands on the front of his carseat She smiled back at him clutching her lunchbox again with two hands. "Now, let's find this school , huh?" Clark said getting back onto the road. Brooke just pointed straight ahead. "Wha.." and then Clark saw it, Jude's Daycare Center. Clark laughed to himself. "I guess you knew where you were going all along huh?" he said as he pulled up to the front of the daycare. As soon as they stopped a tired looking women came up to the car with a baby on her hip.
"Hi ,Clark" said forcing a smile. She opened Brooke's door and Brooke unblucked her seatbelt.
"Hi , Mrs. Ryan" Brooke said as her curls bounced when she jumped from the car. Then the women opened Andy's door and pulled him out of the carseat and placed him on her other hip. Then she shut the door.
"We'll see you and 5:00 then?" Mrs. Ryan said looking at Clark. He hesitated a second, not even realizing she was talking to him.
"Uhh.. yeah. Sure." he said looking over at Brooke. She crawled back into the car and gave Clark a small quiet kiss on the cheek.
"Bye Daddy, I love you" she said crawling back out of the car and shuting the door. He smiled at the sweet little girl.
"I love you too Brooke" he said pulling away watching his kids watch leave. He didn't want to leave them. Then he looked down at the clock.
"8:55!" Clark yelled outloud. He pressed on the gas and sped off to the Daily Planet.
He pulled into the parking lot with his breaks screeching. He put on his glasses and straighten his tye and hair. Then he ran his brief case and got out of the car walking cooly to the entrance. He walked up to the front desk and just stood there for a moment waiting for the women at the desk to acknowledge him.
"Hi, Clark!" said the young women at the desk. "What can I do you for you today?" she said in a playful tone. Clark felt so stupid for asking, but he had to know.
"Umm.. yeah.. Tena.." he read off her name tag. He leaned over the desk now. "Where's my office?" he said whispering.
"Hah! You're very funny Mr. Kent, but aren't you going to be late if you don't hurry?" she asked playing with her pen. Clark just stared at her. "Okay, I'll humor you. Eleventh floor , 6th door on the right, with Miss Lane." she said looking at Clark suspiciously.
"Thanks.. Tena" he read off her name tag again. He walked over to the elevator and pushed the up button. The doors opened and he stepped into the elevator .
"Mr. Kent, cutting it close again I see." came a voice from the other side of the elevator. Clark recognized the voice.
"Perry White?" Clark said astonished, raising his eyebrow.
"Yeah Perry White. What's gotten into you Clark?" Perry said press button for the seventh floor.
"Uhh.. nothing .. sir" Clark said looking down.
"All right then." Perry said stepping off the elevator. "And it's boss to you kid." Perry said turning and smiling at Clark. The doors shut and Clark was then alone.
"Man, this is so twisted." Clark thought to himself. The elevator stopped at the eleventh floor and Clark shyly stepped off. He walked down six doors on the right. He took a deep breath before opening the door. He slowly turned the knob and entered the room. There were three desks , with two big windows in the back behind them. Chloe sat one behind piled papers and a computer.
"Hey, Clark!" Chloe said smiling at him as the phone on her desk rang.
"Good morning, Chloe" Clark said happy to see that he would be working with his best friend. Then he walked over to the desk that had a little sign that read "Clark Kent" in white letters. He sat down behind a computer and a small stack of papers.
Then he noticed a picture of himself with Lana on his back kissing his cheek. They were outside in the woods it looked like. Clark was smiling wide and so was Lana as she kissed him. Clark smiled and sat the frame down. Then he picked up the one next to it with Brooke and Andy wrapped around his ankles as he tried to walk. They were all laughing and smiling.
Clark didn't know how he got to the future, but the idea of him being married to Lana and having a beautiful family and life was starting to feel wonderful. He wouldn't have wanted it any other way. He thought to himself as he smiled. But, then suddenly his thoughts were interupted.
"Clark, uhh.. can you come in here and help me with the copier." Lois's voice a door a few feet from his desk. Lois was in a small room with a computer , scanner , and a copying machine. Clark hesitated and then got up and walked into the small dim room. Lois shut the door and suddenly grabbed Clark and pinned him to the wall and started kissing him wildly. Clark was shocked and completely thrown off guard. He just stood there for a minute as she started unbuttoning his shirt, but Clark pushed her off.
"Lois! What are you doing?!" Clark said pulling away and fixing his shirt and tye.

Should be Eastern time, as her profile says she's in West Virginia - but her time is showing incorrectly in her profile.

"You're so funny Clark, you know I think you look sexy when you're angry. So are we roll playing again?" she said moving her fingers misgeviouly along the neck line of his shirt.
"Lois stop!" he yelled scaring her a bit. She backed up to the copier now. "I have a wife and children at home! Why would I ever want to hurt any of them?!" he said becoming flustered. She gave him a weird and disgusted look.
"What's gotten into you?" she said straightening her shirt hair. "It's not like last time was the first time, Clark. Why are you acting like this now? Did Lana find out?" she asked giving him a tense look of fear. Clark was so confused. Why would he ever cheat on Lana? She was the only one he had ever really loved, and she had loved him in return. He would never do this to Lana, the love of his life. He just looked down so disappointed with his future being.
"You mean, I've been cheating on Lana with you for a while now? Is that what you're telling me?" Clark asked trying to get everything straight. Now Lois just looked annoyed and hurt.
"Look ,Clark. Whatever this is, whatever you're doing here, it's really kind of scaring me. Is this some sort of joke? Because, Clark, I don't find this one bit funny. And if Lana has found out, how am I ever going to face her? I mean she's one of my best friends and I don't know if I can handle seeing her if she's that upset." Lois said completely serious.
"One of her best friends? Lois, how could you do this to her if you were friends?! You're so selfish! I can't believe you're saying this! All you care about is yourself, and I'm telling you right now, that whatever was going on between me and you, it's going to stop right here and now! There is no more! Lana doesn't know, and I intend on keeping it that way. I will never hurt her again! Lois, I love her, and I'm sorry for whatever I've done to make you think different, but I have a family, and I have Lana. I'm sorry, but this has to stop." he said calming down at the end of his speech. Lois didn't say anything, she just stood there for a minute with anger slowly spreading across her face. She was grinding her teeth and her nostrols were flaring and she was holding back her tears, but just barely. They were on the verge of slipping right down her cheeks. "I'm sorry Lois, I really am, but it has to be this way." Clark said feeling badly for her taking so hard.
"Oh, I'm fine. Don't worry about me." she said as she wiped the tears from her eyes. "I better get back to work." she said as she got up, took a deep breathe, and then opened the door and left the copy room as if nothing was wrong. Clark leaned against the wall for a minute, pondering weather he should tell Lana that he had been unfaithful. She really deserved to know, but it wasn't even his fault. Well, at least not the Clark he was. Maybe this new Clark could cheat on his wife, no problem, but the old Clark wouldn't even dream of it. He didn't understand how he could change so much within a few years.
He decided he wouldn't tell Lana. He didn't want to hurt her for the time being. And he had to figure out how to get back to his real life, and out of this crazy distorted fantasy nightmare that he was in now. What if this really what his furture would come to? Having a wonderful family, and then risking it all with Lois. Here he was a reporter at the Daily Planet , and some sort of uniform hiden in his briefcase living what seemed to be a double life. One as a nice family man, and the other as a cheating reporting. He couldn't handle all of this.
Clark walked out of the copy room and looked over at Chloe. She rolled her eyes, annoyed and a little upset. Then she just looked away and went back to work. Clark sat down at his desk and looked at the picture of him and Lana again, it was just another constant reminder that he had just one more secert that he had to hide from her. He was so ashamed.
Just then the door opened to their office and Perry came barging through to Clark's desk.
"Kent!" he said adressing as he usually did. "I need that new story on Superman on my desk by the end of the day. Got it?" Perry said leaning over Clark's desk to him. Clark just sat there with a puzzled look on his face.
"Superman?" he said raising his brow.

"Yeah" Perry said giving him a stupid look. "Superman." Perry walked away from Clark's desk and left Clark there wondering as Perry shut the door behind him. Lois looked at Clark nervously

first and then at Chloe.

"Uhh.. I'm going to go get some coffee." she said standing up from her desk and following shortly behind Mr. White. The door slammed , and it should Clark awake. Chloe shot him another look

of digust and she went back to working. It was starting to bother Clark. She couldn't possibly know about him and Lois, could she? Chloe just looked at him then has he stared in confusion at

the picture Perry had layed on his desk. It was a man in that uniform that Lana had given him. He looked a little closer at the picture.

"Hey that guy kind of reminds me of someone." he thought to himself.

"Need a little help with that Clark?" Chloe said peering around at him through her papers. Clark sat the paper down.

"Uhh.. sure Chloe." he said hesitating. Chloe got up and dragged her chair over next to Clark's desk. Clark continued to stare at the picture , concentrating hard.

"Oh my Gosh! That man looks just like me!" Clark screamed inside his head. "I'm Superman!" he said to himself in pure shock. His eyes widened as he just stared at the picture in utter

astonishment.

"Ya know, you're not fooling anyone." Chloe said from behind him. Clark froze. Did Chole know of his secret life?

"Uhh.. what do you mean?" he said trying to play it cool, but stiffened his neck.

"Ya know, the "I'm working late" excuses or " I have another meeting" thing you've got going on." Chloe said looking at him skeptically.

"Chloe, are you implying that I'm hiding something?" Clark said hoping she'd back off.

"How can you just keep lying to everyone Clark?!" Chloe bursted in a yelling tone. "She's your wife Clark! You have children! How can you hurt them like this?!" she took a long deep breathe and

looked at him with hurt eyes.

"Chloe." he started, but he didn't know what to say. "I.. I never wanted it to be this way. I don't even know what's going on! Chloe you've got to help me. I know I sound crazy , but just listen."

Clark stopped a second and looked straight into Chloe's eyes. "I think I'm in the furture." Clark finally let go. Chloe just stared at him for a minute.

"What? The future? Have you lost your mind? Where do you get this stuff?" Chloe said defensively.

"Chloe I know I sound crazy, but I swear, the last thing I remember before I got here, wherever I am, I was back at my house, and I was still in high school. Please you've got to believe me! I need

your help Chloe." he paused for a moment. "And I think you're the only one that can.”
