i hope you like my new story! please comment! : )
Chapter One:
Clark was never afraid of anything. He never had to be; he was invincible. Nothing could harm him...there was no reason to worry about getting hurt. But as Clark read the letter in his hands, he realized being untouchable only protected him physically, not emotionally. For the first time, Clark was afraid; afraid of losing something most dear to him...Lana.
Dear Clark,
I know we haven’t spoken in a long time, but I needed to write this letter. When I left, things were in very strange, uncomfortable place, neither of us can deny that. So many things had happened between us, and they just screwed everything up. We’ve had a rough past, and a rough present, but I don’t want the future to be that way; at least we can try to make our future the way we want it, right? The last time we talked, you told me that you hoped I would find what I was looking for, and after all of this time I finally realized what I want. But I can’t tell you in a letter, Clark....there would just be too many pages. That’s why I’m coming home. I have to tell you what I found, if you’re willing to listen. See you soon, I hope.

Clark put the letter down slowly. He wasn’t sure what it all meant. Things were always confusing with Lana; words, actions, but never feelings. She could stay in Paris for years, but Clark would always feel the same way about her; that was one thing he could bet on. He decided he would listen to what Lana had to say, but he also determined it would only be fair if he told her what he had found over the summer:
After everything that’s happened, he still loves her.

Chapter Two:
For the summertime, Clark slept out in the loft; it was just too hot in the house. He even convinced his parents to allow him to hook up a tv and phone chord out there. It was like living in a dorm room all over again, minus the annoying roommate.
Clark awoke when he heard the soft ringing of the telephone in his ear...one of the flaws of having super-hearing; even if he was in the deepest sleep, he could always hear everything. He reached over and picked it up. “Hello?” he asked groggily.
“Hi, Clark. It’s Lana. Are you sleeping?”
What a stupid question, he thought. “Yes, I am.”
“Oh my god, I forgot to change my watch...I’m still in Paris time...I’m so sorry.”
“No, no. That’s ok. It’s good to hear your sweet voice.” What did I just say?!’ Clark asked himself.
Lana just laughed it off, guessing he said that because he was half asleep. “I’m sorry to bother you, I can call back...”
“No, that’s alright. Is there something you needed?”
“I just wanted to see you...if that’s ok.”
“Yeah, it’s ok. How about here, tomorrow....say 8:00?”
“Eight’s good...see you then.”
“Lana?”
“Yes?” She couldn’t hear a sound for a moment, but then Clark’s voice came back.
“It really is good to hear your voice again. I’ve missed you...”
“I’ve missed you too, Clark.” They both smiled, and even though they couldn’t see each other, they somehow knew that’s what the other person was doing. “I’ll see you at eight.”
“Bye.” Clark put the phone down and fluffed up his pillows, ready to go back to sleep. And he did, smiling.

Chapter Three:
Clark walked into the kitchen for breakfast earlier than usual, much earlier.
“Clark,” Martha said, “what are you doing up so early?”
“Oh, I just, uh, have to get a lot of stuff done before tonight.”
“And what happens tonight?”
Clark gave a huge grin. “Lana’s stopping by.”
“Lana?” Martha’s eyes grew wide. “When did she get back in town?”
“I don’t know, but she called and said she wanted to see me.”
“Really...”
“Yes, really. Now before you make anymore insinuations, I gotta go take care of some things.”
Throughout the rest of the day, Clark cleaned up the loft, bathed at least three times, and tried ten different hair styles. He also got his parents to go into town, so they wouldn’t interrupt anything. And he was going to make dinner, but he figured that would be too much like a date...which it wasn’t. Was it? There was that confusion again. He concluded dressing nice was enough. When Lana was about to arrive, he suddenly went to go change, thinking dressing nice would make her think he thought it was date, which he didn’t think. For all he knew, Lana was going to give him terrible news. But maybe it would be good, or great, or spectacular...or bad. He was thinking too much; he had never been so nervous in his life. Clark still went to change anyway, but as he got up, he was forced to stop.
He saw the most elegant being at the top of the stairs...Lana. She was even more beautiful than the last time he saw her. And like old times, he was speechless; Lana always could take his breath away effortlessly. Lana could tell Clark wasn’t sure what to say, so she broke the ice.
“Hi, Clark.”
“Hi,” he said softly. He still couldn’t come up with anything to say.
“It’s so good to see you...” She walked over to him and hugged him, and he took in her scent. That, like everything else, was beautiful.
“It’s good to see you too. It’s been a long time.”
“Yes, it has. You look wonderful.”
Clark really didn’t know how to respond to that either. “Uh, so do you.” He let out a small laugh. “I’m guessing you enjoyed Paris, considering you were away for so long.”
“Yeah, I did. It really helped me to clear my mind and think about things. Think about who I am, who I want to be, and who I want to be with...that’s actually why I wanted to see you. I wanted to talk to you about all of those things.”
“Oh, ok. Well...I’m all ears.”
“Clark, maybe we should sit.” Once they were both on the couch, Lana looked deeply into Clark’s eyes, and he did the same with her. For a moment, it was like all of the bad things that happened between them had disappeared, and all that was left was the good; all that was left was the pure, genuine love they shared. And they did still share it.
“Clark...I went to Paris to forget about the life I led here; I thought that was what would make me happy. And for a while, I did forget about Smallville, and all of the problems I left behind, and that felt good. It felt good to have a fresh start. And I did I find was looking for, though I didn’t need to go to Paris to find it. It was right here in front of me this entire time. I want you, Clark. The only thing I couldn’t forget was you. And for a good amount of time, I was angry because of that...I was angry with you, not only for everything that’s happened in the past, but because I just can’t move on from you for some reason. I could’ve easily been happy, but still I’m not. It killed me to be mad at you...I know you don’t do these things on purpose, but it’s still so frustrating. I’m so confused. I thought going to Paris would make things better. I thought having a fresh start would make things better. But I made all of the same choices, so things didn’t get better; I was so sure they would. And I tried so hard to have my feelings change, but they can’t, Clark...they won’t, and I’m tired of fighting against them. But I feel like I’m fighting a losing battle because it doesn’t matter how I feel. It doesn’t matter if I never get over you...you’re already over me, and I don’t know what to do anymore. I stay here, I’m not happy. I leave, I’m not happy. I just want to be happy...but I don’t know if that’s possible if I can’t be with you. I don’t know what else to say...”
Clark sat there, motionless. All of the words, so many words, were the ones he wanted to hear. And he had to tell her how he felt before she continued. “Lana, you don’t have to say anything else. I know exactly how you feel. For the longest time, I’ve been trying to move on from you too, because, ironically enough, that’s what I thought would make you happy. I’ve been trying really hard to forget the feelings I have for you, but I can’t. And I’m sorry that I couldn’t be the first to admit that...maybe then you wouldn’t be so confused, or wasted your time in a different country. But I guess I always needed to know how you felt first. I’m sorry for that too. But I am telling you how I feel now. I’m not happy either...because I’m not with you. The truth is, I’ve always loved you...I just never told you because I didn’t think you felt the same way; I thought you had moved on, and I didn’t want to hold you back. And I’m so sorry that I have anyway...I’m so sorry for..”
Lana interrupted him. She spoke gently. “Clark...you don’t have to be sorry. I think we’ve both made some mistakes, mainly because we keep hiding our feelings. I don’t think we should bury them anymore. Do you?”
“No...that only makes things worse.”
“Well, in that case, I love you.”
“I love you too.”

A few questions on the setting & time: How long was Lana in Paris in this story? Was it longer than the three months that happened on the show? And was Clark still sucked into oblivion by Jor-El & came back after 3 months as Kal-El, etc.????
Just want to know where we're coming from as this story begins. Thanks.

to answer your first question...Lana was in Paris for the three months she was there in the actual tv show, and she's home before school starts and everything.
to answer your second question...i kinda took the liberty to change the story a bit...Clark never became Kal-El and left and everything. hope you don't mind! : )

Chapter Four:
Smiles. Big smiles. Words. No words. That’s how it was for the first few minutes after Clark and Lana finally told one another how they felt about each other. The feelings inside of them before that moment were so dark and ugly, but in that one second when they exchanged “I love you’s,” that darkness was replaced by a vibrant light, and the ugliness was taken over by beauty. For the first time, in a long time, Clark and Lana were happy. They laid in each other’s arms.
Clark smelled Lana’s hair, and she felt his chest move up and down. “Clark, it feels so good to be in your arms again.”
“I feels so good to have you be in my arms again. So what was Paris like?”
“It was so beautiful. You wouldn’t think a city could be so amazing but it was. All of the art, and museums, even the cafes; they were all amazing. There was always something new to see, something new to love. The school was great too; the teachers and the other students were so helpful and kind. And I had a little apartment that had an incredible view...if you looked out the window, you could see the Eiffel Tower. Ah, what a way to get up in the morning, huh?”
“Sounds wonderful...”
“It was, but it would’ve been better if you were there to share it with me...I would much rather wake up to you.”
“Thanks.” Another smile. “Me too.”
“One thing I could’ve done without though was the food. I’m not really a big fan of horse.” They both laughed. “American cuisine is something I definitely missed.”
“Yeah, I don’t know what I’d do without my mom’s home cooking.”
“You know what else I’ve missed?”
“What?”
“Your kisses...”
“Really...”
“Yeah, you know, I’m kinda drawing a blank as to what they were like...”
“Well, let me refresh your memory.” Clark leaned in and kissed Lana softly on the lips. They stayed close to each other’s faces, feeling one another’s hot breath, never opening their eyes. They had forgotten how amazing it was kissing each other...kisses are always different when you really love the person you’re doing it with.
Lana tilted her head up and smiled at him. “I’d almost forgotten how good that was...”
“I could never forget that...”
“I gotta go, but I’ll be back...maybe we can spend the day together tomorrow?”
“Yeah. I’ll pick you up at 9:00?”
“Ok. 23389 Cherrybrook Lane, apartment 4.” She gave him another kiss, and headed for the stairs.
“Welcome back, Lana.”
She turned back around. “It’s good to be back...with you.”

Chapter Five:
Clark looked over to his alarm clock and saw that it was already 8:30. He super-speeded through his morning routine as quietly as he could, then drove to Lana’s new apartment. He walked up the stairs to apartment number 14, and when he saw that the door was unlocked, he just walked in and sat on the couch. ‘Gee, she unpacked pretty quickly.’ Then, from around the corner, came a little dog and it started barking. “Lana?” A women came out into the room screaming. She started hitting Clark, yelling “Get out, get out, robber, robber!”
“Ma’am, calm down. I’m so sorry, I thought my friend lived in this apartment.” He ran out as fast as he could, and she slammed the door shut behind him. ‘Maybe that was 4, not 14'. Scarred for life, he went up to apartment 4's door. Lana opened it.
“Thank God. Good morning...”
“Good morning sweetie...” They kissed each other. “What do you mean, thank God?”
“Nothing. But FYI, don’t ever go to apartment 14.”
“Um, ok...” They walked out to the car. On the way, Clark called Chloe from his cell phone to tell her to meet him at the Talon. “Hey Chlo.”
“Hey Clark. What’s up?”
“You busy right now? I was hoping you could meet me at the Talon.” He looked over at Lana. “I have a surprise for you.”
“A surprise?! Of course I’ll be there. See ya soon.”
“Alright, Chloe will be there.”
“I can’t wait to see her.” Lana said.
Clark walked into the Talon to see Chloe already sitting at a table, drinking her cappuccino. Her eyes grew wide when she saw Clark. “Clark, Clark, where’s my present???”
“Well, it’s not really something you can open. See, it’s more of a someone than something.” Lana opened the door and walked in smiling. Chloe looked at Clark as if to say is that really Lana? “Surprise!”
“OH MY GOD! You’re back.” Chloe gave her a huge hug. “It’s so good to see you. Ah, I’ve missed you.”
“I’ve missed you too! Things were pretty dull without my roomie.”
“I bet that’s not true....I mean, you were in PARIS!”
“It was a lot of fun, but I’m glad I’m back.”
“Me too. Look, I gotta go, but I definitely want to talk later, ok? I wanna hear all about it!”
“Alright, I’ll see you later.” Lana gave Chloe another hug before she left.
“Bye Lana. Oh, bye Clark!”
“Wow, she’s exactly the same.”
“Yep.” Clark and Lana laughed as they went up to the counter to get their drinks. They got their usuals and sat down. “I bet you missed this place.”
“Yeah, I did. For a long time, the Talon was my escape. But now I have you.”
“I’m not really sure what that means for me. How’s your coffee?”
“I don’t mean to brag, but I could make it better...” They both smiled and laughed. That’s all they seemed to do now, even when they weren’t with each other.
A tall, dark man walked into the Talon and searched around for someone. Clark noticed him when he started to stare at Lana. “Lana, do you know who that is?” Lana turned around and got a scared look on her face and she began to breath heavily. “Lana?”
She turned back around, looking concerned. Her eyes wandered from side to side. “Uh, no...no I don’t know who that is.”

Chapter Six:
On the way back to Lana’s new apartment, she was silent. Clark recognized her concern and thought that maybe if he kept asking questions, she’d tell him what was going on. “Lana, is everything ok?”
“Everything is fine, Clark.” She realized how defensive she sounded and apologized.
“Do you wanna talk?”
“Do I want to talk? Of course I want to talk, but I can’t. Something’s happening, but I have to handle it on my own.” She began to break down, tears flowed down her cheeks, and Clark pulled the car over.
He wiped away her tears. “Lana, I’m always here for you...you don’t have to handle anything alone. Let me help you. Talk to me.”
“I can’t, it might make things worse. I’m sorry. I know things are finally getting better between us, but I just can’t tell you what’s going on, at least not right now.”
Clark let out a sigh and leaned in to hug her. “Ok.” They pulled into the driveway and Lana kissed Clark on the cheek and said goodbye.
“You want me to come in?”
“No, no...umm...I have a lot of unpacking to do...I’ll call you later, ok?”
“Ok.” Clark watched Lana as she went inside. He couldn’t understand. Things were fine, better than fine...they were great, until that man walked into the Talon. Clark finally had a second chance to be with Lana, and he wasn’t going to let anyone ruin it.

Lana walked up the old stairs and unlocked her apartment. It wasn’t nearly as nice as the one at the Talon, but it was much more affordable. She was a senior in highschool with no job; she had to take what she could get. “Home, sweet home.” She went over to a small box to start putting it’s contents away; it was full of pictures. She put them all on the bookshelf, next to the novels she unpacked last night, arranging them by height and size. She paused for a moment when she pulled out a picture of her and Clark. She smiled a smile like the one she had in the picture, and she noticed that Clark was smiling too, but looking at her, not at the camera. “He always did go weak at the knees when he got around me...”
“Looks like you do the same with him...” Startled, Lana dropped the picture frame. It fell to the ground and shattered into tiny pieces. Suddenly the Lana in the picture was the only Lana smiling.
“What are you doing here? Why won’t you leave me alone?”
“I can’t just forget what happened with us in Paris, Lana. I could never forget that.” The man walked over to her and kissed her, but she slapped him across the face.
“You better try a little bit harder because I have. Besides, I’m with someone else now who makes me happy, and doesn’t treat me like some...some...trophy.”
“Who? Clark? How much could you really care about him? I’m mean, you left your home, your friends, everything you knew just to get away from him.”
“I love him. Not you...I don’t want to love you.”
“It doesn’t matter if you don’t, you will...” The man grabbed Lana by the arms and threw her to the ground. She tried not to cry; she didn’t want to look weak to him, but it was too late. He squeezed her arms tighter. “You better not ever see that Kent guy ever again, or there’ll be trouble. Do you understand me?” Lana didn’t answer. “Do you?!” She still didn’t respond but only because she didn’t have to.
Clark was at the door. He came back to bring Lana her leftover coffee she left in the car. “Hey, get away from her!” As he went to help Lana, the man ran out. “Are you ok?”
“Yes, I’m fine...” She only had a little cut on her arm.
Suddenly the door swung open again, and there in the doorway was the woman from apartment fourteen. “I heard some screaming, is everybody alright?” Her eyes shifted to the ground and she saw Clark next to Lana. “You again?!” Clark just smiled.

iono why Clark just smiled this Lady could cause him some problems at least for while if the lady calls the cops there going to be asking Clark quite a few questions oh well he'll get out of 'em though but who was that guy??

Yes, keep posting. It takes some of us a while to get around to reading new stories. (Just keeping up with the older ones & writng myown takes a lot of time) But when I finlally get time to read a new one, it's nice that there are several updates already. :) Nice story. Poor Clark- he'll be so misunderstood. Could the man be Jason? Hmmmm.

Chapter Seven:
“Alright, Lana. I think it’s time you ‘fess up...who was that guy?” Clark said as he put a band aid on her arm.
“His name is Jason...Jason Teague. I met him in Paris, and we dated for a little while, but I never really cared about him so I broke it off. I figured that was the best thing to do, but it ends up it wasn’t. You see, he kinda freaked on me and suddenly he become obsessive and possessive of me. I tried to get away from him in Paris, especially when I realized I loved you, and I thought I succeeded; I hadn’t spoken to him up until I left. Now he’s followed me here, and God knows what he’ll do...”
“He’s not going to do anything. I’ll make sure of that.”
“Clark, don’t do anything crazy...”
“Lana, he followed you here from Paris and then attacked you! How could I not?”
“It’ll be fine...I’ll be fine.”
“You’re right, you will be, because you’re coming home with me.”
“Clark, I can’t do that. Besides, I don’t think your parents would be too fond of that idea.”
“I’m not worried about my parents. I’m worried about you. Now, come on. Pack your things up and let’s get you where it’s safe.”
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen you so demanding...geez...”
“Well, I guess I do get a little crazy when the woman I love is in danger.”
--------At the Kent Farm--------
“Mom, Dad, you home?” Clark searched around the house for a bit and then saw a note.
Clark,
I bet you didn’t remember that it’s our anniversary today...don’t worry, we forgive you. But as a surprise, your father is taking me to Metropolis for the weekend. There’s plenty of food in the fridge, it should last until we get back. Be safe, and NO GIRLS! We love you.
Mom and Dad
“I guess my parents are gone for the weekend. See, this works out fine. You don’t have to worry about anything.”
“Uh, Clark, maybe you didn’t read the part where it says no girls...”
“They won’t know. Here, give me your bag, I’ll take it upstairs and put it in my bedroom.”
“You’re bedroom?”
“I figured sleeping in my bed would be less weird than sleeping in my parents bed.”
“Why would you think that?”
“Well, you don’t have to...”
“No, it’s fine. I will.”
“Ok, well, I’ll be right back.”
“Ok.” Lana sat on the couch. She knew this was going to be an interesting night.

Yeah, in the episode Ryan when Clark tells Lana "Well you could come stay with us its just kinda crowded right now" I always wished he would have said something like "Come stay with us, I'll sleep in the barn before I let you move to Metropolis". Damn Chloe had to ruin it all.

Chapter Eight: (PG-13 maybe, i dunno lol)
“So Lana, what do you want to do tonight?”
“We could watch some tv.”
“Ok.” Clark sat down next to her, and put on the tv as Lana scooted closer to him and rested her head on his shoulder. Clark put his arm around her and kissed her head. She hadn’t laid in his arms in a long time and she missed the warm feeling it gave her. They sat there for a little while, trying to find a good channel but failed. “There’s nothing good on. Want to do something else?”
“Um...well, I guess I’m kinda hungry. Maybe we could eat?”
“Ok, do you want to order pizza?”
“Oh, yes. I haven’t had pizza in months...”
“Ok, I’ll be right back.” While he was gone, Lana looked around to find something else for the two of them to do. She spotted some games on the bookshelf, and when she saw Twister she knew that that was the game for them. “Ok, the pizza should be here in a...” Clark stopped suddenly when he saw Lana holding the Twister box, grinning.
“Do you remember the last time we played Twister?”
“Yeah, you beat my butt, and Chloe laughed her butt off...I’m not going through that embarrassment again. We are not playing Twister.”
“Oh, come on, Clark. Chloe isn’t here to laugh at you, and I’ll be easy on you...please?” She pouted her bottom lip like a little kid.
“Oh, alright.” Lana started to set up the game as Clark took his shoes off, getting ready to play a fierce game of Twister; he was going to win this time. Lana shouted out the first moves, left foot green, and Clark slowly placed his foot in the correct position. By the time it was turn five, Clark and Lana were all twisted up and in a lot of pain. “You should just give up, you know I’m gonna beat you!”
“I don’t think so...” Lana noticed that her hand was near one of Clark’s foot. She grinned as an idea came to her, and she lifted up her hand and started tickling his foot.
“Hey!” They had fallen, and Lana was laughing hysterically on the way down. “That’s cheating.” Clark started to tickle her, and Lana kept laughing until she realized Clark wasn’t anymore. She saw that he was staring into her eyes, on top of her. Lana swallowed hard as Clark came in for kiss, but this kiss wasn’t as gentle as the other ones they shared. It seemed as if rage took over him, and he kissed her heatedly. They got up, still kissing, and Lana put her arms around Clark’s neck and her legs around his waist. He carried her up to his bedroom, and put her on the bed. After closing the door, he joined her on the bed and got on top of her again. Lana ripped off Clark’s shirt and felt his solid body as he undid her blouse. Suddenly, they heard the doorbell ring. “The pizza...”
Lana pulled him close again. “Leave it...I’m not hungry anymore...at least not for pizza...” She kissed him again, and they spent the rest of the night that way, the pizza sitting on the doorstep.

Chapter Nine:
Clark woke up to find that he was alone. Confused, he looked around, but found no one. He quickly got dressed and went downstairs into the kitchen. “Lana?”
“Good morning, Clark. Surprise!” Lana stood beside the kitchen table, next to a full course breakfast. “I got up early to make breakfast for us...I know it doesn’t beat last night but I thought I’d do it anyway.”
“No, it’s amazing.” He walked over to her and kissed her. They sat and ate their meal together.
“What would you like?”
“How about some of those eggs and pancakes. They look delicious.”
“Good choice. You’re in luck. I make the best chocolate chip pancakes in the whole town.”
“Oh, really. I think there might be someone who is a little bit better at it.”
“You do, huh? And who might that be?”
“Me!”
“Hey!” Lana picked up a piece of her pancake and threw it at Clark’s head. Then he took some eggs in his spoon and flung it at her. They laughed as they cleaned themselves up, and then continued their meal.
“Clark...I don’t mean to ruin this moment but we have to talk about last night.”
“Which part...” Clark smiled.
“The part about Jason.”
“Oh, uh...Jason...right, of course.”
“Well, I can’t stay here forever Clark, sooner or later I have to go home, and sooner or later I have to face him.”
“I know you do, I just wish that wasn’t true.”
“I know you’re worried about me but I have to go home; I have to live my life.”
“Alright, after breakfast I’ll drop you off. Let me at least stay with you though, I’d feel better that way.”
“Of course you can stay with me. Even if Jason wasn’t here, I’d want you around. I love you, Clark.”
“I love you too, Lana. More than you could imagine. I promise that I won’t let anyone hurt you.”
“I know you won’t. And I think that makes me love you even more.” She kissed him and smiled.
After breakfast, Clark cleaned up the dishes while Lana packed up her things to go home. While Lana got her things together, she couldn’t help but snoop around Clark’s room. There was a bulletin board above Clark’s desk, and Lana looked at all of the pictures on them; ones of Chloe, and Pete, and herself. Suddenly her eyes were drawn to her picture; there was a note behind it, and on the front was “What I’ll say to Lana”. She bit her lip, trying to decide whether or not to read it. She had to.

Chapter Ten:
Dear Lana,
There’s something I need to tell you...something I should’ve told you about a lot sooner than now but I was just afraid to. But telling you the truth might be the only way to keep you in my life, so I’m finally willing to take the chance of being honest. You deserve to know the truth, Lana, and I really hope you’ll understand, because I love you and I want you to continue loving me.
I have always felt the same way about you; my feelings for you have always been something I could be sure about. I know that things have been kind of strange between us lately. Let’s face it, when I broke up with you, things changed; I guess I knew they would. But I didn’t want to do it, Lana. Breaking up with you was the last thing I wanted to do. But I saw how I was hurting you by not being open with you, and I wasn’t sure when I’d be ready to open up, so I thought the only way you would be happy is if I stopped our relationship. Now I realize that that was a mistake, and that I should’ve just told you the truth from the beginning. The truth is complicated, but I owe it to you to tell you, and I’m just going to come out and say it. That’s the only way I know how to do it.
The truth is, I’m not from around here. My parents found me on the day of the first meteor shower. I came here in a spaceship. I know it sounds crazy, but it’s true. I’m from a planet called Krypton, and because I’m not from Earth, I have all of these abilities. I have super speed, super hearing, super strength, x-ray vision, heat vision, and nothing can hurt me, except for green meteor rock; red meteor makes me different, like how the nicodemus flower made you act. Having all of these gifts is how I’ve been able to save you all of those times. So that’s it, Lana. That’s the truth. That’s my secret. I hope you understand. Now I just have to tell you all of this for real.

Lana stood soundless, but she trembled; even if she wanted to read the note again it would be impossible because it shook quickly. Thoughts entered her head and began to dance around like grass in the wind. Was the note real? Was all of that really the truth? She wasn’t sure about anything; confusion had taken over her mind and she was unable to push it out of the way. She jerked when she heard Clark yell for her. Hurriedly, she folded up the note and shoved it back into it’s original position. “Coming Clark.”
When Lana came down with her bags, Clark thought she seemed a little distracted. “Lana, is everything ok?”
“Yeah...umm, everything is fine.”
Clark took Lana to her apartment, and he stayed for a while, helping her unpack a few things. He noticed that she was being especially quiet, like she had been before. “Lana is something bothering you...you’ve been really quiet.”
“I’m fine. I must just be a little worried about Jason.”
“Don’t worry about him, ok?”
“Look, Clark, the truth is, Jason isn’t what’s bothering me. I found something today, in your room, something I probably shouldn’t have seen, but I did.”
“What did you see?”
“Don’t get mad.” Clark nodded his head. “Well, I was looking at the pictures on your bulletin board, and I saw a note behind mine. And I sort of read it.”
“A note? What did it say?”
“What you were going to say to me when you were ready to tell me the truth.”
Clark’s eyes grew wide. “You saw that note?”
“Yeah.” She swallowed. “I did.”
Clark wasn’t sure what to say. “Lana, I...I don’t...”
“I know this is awkward, but I have to know. What you wrote, was that really the truth?”
Just as Clark was about to answer, there was a knock at the door. Lana went to open it.
“Chloe...”

Chapter Eleven:
“Hey guys. I hope I didn’t come at a bad time.”
Lana looked at Clark and then back at Chloe. “Umm, no. It’s a fine time...”
Clark: Actually Chloe, no offense, but it would be if you came back later.
Lana: Clark!
Clark: Well, it’s just, something is going on with Lana, and I don’t want you in any danger.
Chloe: What’s going on?
Lana: Nothing, it’s no big deal.
Clark: Lana’s old boyfriend came from Paris and he keeps threatening her.
Lana: Clark!
Chloe: It’s ok, Lana. Is there something I can do to help?
Lana: No, you don’t have to do anything. Thanks for the offer, but Clark’s right, you might be in danger if you stay here.
Chloe: Ok, well...good luck with everything. Call me.
Clark: We will. Bye Chloe.
Chloe: Bye.
Chloe walked down the stairs to the front of the apartment building, where her car was parked. As she was opening her car door, suddenly, out of no where, a hand moved over her mouth. Her eyes opened wide and she tried to get away but she couldn’t. She felt a hand on her arm, moving her towards another car, and she screamed. “Who are you?”
“Shut up!” The man threw Chloe into the car and her head hit the dashboard, and she screamed.
Inside Lana’s apartment, Clark and Lana looked at each other. “Did you hear that, Clark?”
Clark thought for moment. “Chloe!” He ran down the stairs and when he reached the outside he saw Chloe’s car door opened but no Chloe. Lana followed shortly after.
“Clark, where’s Chloe.”
“I don’t know...”

Chapter Twelve:
Clark and Lana went back into her apartment a bit shaken. “I should have walked with her. This is all my fault.”
“No, Clark, you can’t blame yourself. We’ll find her.”
“No, I’ll find her. You’re staying here where it’s safe.”
“Obviously it isn’t safe here, Clark. Stop trying to protect me from this. I’m an adult, and Chloe is my friend. I want to help.”
“Lana, please. We don’t know what he’s capable of. We don’t know what he’s going to do. I refuse to let you take the risk of getting more involved. You’re staying here.”
“And where exactly are you going to go?”
“I don’t know, but I have to help Chloe. Now don’t move, and lock the door after I leave.”
“Be careful, Clark. I know you’re invincible, but that doesn’t mean you have to be crazy.”
“What do you mean invincible?”
“Nothing, now go.” Lana kissed him on the cheek and then Clark left.
Lana locked the door as Clark had told her to. She went into the fridge, and found a tv dinner. She put it the microwave, and then went and sat down to watch tv. She wanted more than anything to leave; she hated how Clark treated her like she was so breakable. She knew that Jason was dangerous, and that going with Clark would be too, but she was tired of being the damsel in distress. But she figured it didn’t really matter what she thought; Clark was probably always going to treat her the same way. After finishing her meal, she couldn’t really enjoy the tv so she turned it off , and she moved to her bedroom to try and relax. Her mind wandered from thought to thought. The first topic of discussion was Chloe, and where she was, if she was ok, and if there was any way possible that Clark would be able to find her. Then she veered towards another train of thought; Clark. She wished that she didn’t accidently read the note he had written. It seemed so right at the time, but she was seriously starting to regret it. Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad if she actually talked to Clark about it, but god knows when she’d be able to. For now, she tried to put it in the back of her mind.
Forgetting about the note came easy when Lana heard a noise coming from the front door. She slowly walked towards the door, attempting to be as silent as she could. She jumped when she heard her name being called from the other side; she had hoped it was nothing but now she was positive something was there. “Who is it?”
“Uh, it’s Clark. Open the door.”
“Oh, Clark. You scared me.” Lana undid the lock and opened the door. “Oh my god!”
It was not Clark at the door; it was Jason. “Hello, Lana. Nice to see you again.”

Chapter Thirteen:
Lana slowly opened her eyes and once they were open she quickly tried to get up. But she was held back; ropes had been tied around her hands and ankles. She was in what seemed to be an apartment, so she looked around, searching for anything that might help her, but there was nothing of such use. Then she saw Chloe. “Chloe!”
“Lana!”
“Are you ok?”
“Yeah, yeah. I’m fine. Who is that guy?”
“That’s my old boyfriend.”
“Geez, you sure can pick ‘em.”
“Chloe, don’t joke. We’re in serious trouble.”
“I know...I know we are. Clark might not find us this time.”
“I was just thinking the same thing.” Sweat dripped down Lana’s forehead and she wanted to scream, but she contained herself when she saw Jason walk into the room.
“Jason.”
“Hello, Lana.”
“Why are you doing this? I don’t understand.”
“We were perfect together, Lana. You couldn’t see it, but I’ll make you see it. I was so happy with you. I broke up with my girlfriend, I moved closer to you...I changed my whole life for you, and you just... break up with me. How could you do that to me? YOU RUINED MY LIFE!”
“Jason, I never meant to hurt you. That’s the last thing I wanted to do...but I can’t pretend that I love you...that’s not right, and you can’t expect me to do that. We can still be friends.”
“Friends?! I don’t want to be friends! I want you to love me like I love you! You’ll see Lana, how good I am for you.”
“Why hurt Chloe? She’s done nothing to you!”
“Just for a little extra fun.”
Chloe spoke. “You’re sick.”
“Shut up!” Jason walked over to Chloe and hit her hard, causing her to become unconscious.
“NO! JASON STOP THIS! Don’t hurt her!”
“Fine, then I’ll hurt Clark.”
“What are you going to do to Clark?”
“Well, let’s just say I’d do anything for you...even kill.”
For a moment, Lana realized that maybe she didn’t have to worry about Clark’s well-being, but then she remembered she still really didn’t know the truth. “No, leave Clark out of this! Look, I’ll do anything you want me to do, just don’t hurt Clark.”
“I’m sorry, Lana, but I believe that if Clark isn’t out of your life you’ll never forget about him, and you will forget about me.” Jason walked out of the room, gun in his hand.
“Jason, NO. JASON!”

Chapter Fourteen:
Clark walked up to Lana’s apartment to find that the door was swung open; he ran in. “LANA!”
“She’s not here, Clark.”
“You. What did you do with her. Where is she!?”
“Don’t worry Clark. She’s just fine, like Chloe. I’d be more worried about yourself.” Jason ran over to Clark, and Clark went to stop him, but suddenly he dropped to his knees. He curled over and clutched his stomach, looking up to see a green light, glowing from a rock. He managed to make a confused look at Jason. “That’s right, Clark. Green meteor rock. I’m a smart one. You see, I looked you up before I came all the way across the country, and something interesting I found was the fact that you were present at almost all accidents. When I found this out, I decided to go talk to some of your old friends; some people in prison, and it seems that you couldn’t stand to be around this stuff. God knows why, and frankly, I don’t really care. What’s important is that I can kill ya now, and then Lana will be with me forever.”
“Jason...please...no.”
“I’m sorry Clark, but’s that’s just the way it has to be.” Jason put the kryptonite into Clark’s coat pocket, and dragged him down the stairs into his car. When he got to his apartment, where Lana and Chloe were tied, he dragged him in, gun to his head.
“CLARK!”
“Lana...”
“NOBODY MOVE!” Jason shouted.
“Jason, let him go. If you really loved me as much as you say you do, you won’t hurt him. Please, please keep him out of this.”
“Lana...I just...I just wanted you to love me. No one has ever made me feel the way you do, and I don’t want to lose that feeling.”
“Jason, this isn’t you. I know you don’t want to hurt anyone...so don’t.”
“Stop talking! You’re confusing me!”
“Jason, you’ll find someone else that’s right for you, I know you will. But you can’t until you move on. Don’t do it, Jason.”
While Lana was pleading with Jason, Chloe woke up, managed to untie herself and slowly crept over to Clark. “Chloe...the rock, in my pocket...get rid of it.”
“Ok, Clark.” She quietly took the kryptonite out of his pocket and threw it across the room. BIG MISTAKE. Jason heard the sound of the rock landing.
“Hey! What’s going on!” He ran over to Chloe and hit her again. She fell to the ground, and seemed to be unconscious yet again. Jason lifted the gun up and aimed it towards Clark.
“Jason, put the gun down.” Clark yelled.
“You’re just saying that cause you don’t wanna die! Well...too bad Kent. You have to!” One bullet was shot.
Lana screamed. “CLARK! NO!” She breathed intensely and tears began to run down her cheeks. She put her hand on her mouth and closed her eyes. She opened her eyes when she heard Jason.
“What the hell?”
Lana looked over to Clark on the ground, and she saw him slowly get up and run towards Jason. The note...it was the truth. Clark super-speeded to Lana and untied her, then grabbed Jason by the neck and yelled to her to call the police. She did, and a few minutes later the sheriff came and arrested Jason. As they took him away, he was screaming at them to look at Clark; that he was shot but still alive.

Chloe threw the Green to the other side of the rom, it has to be a pretty big room to have enough room to have 3 captives, and for Clark to run at Jason... hope that helps...

Chapter Fifteen:
Clark took Chloe home and wrote a note to her apologizing and explaining what had happened. Then he and Lana went back to her apartment. Lana sat on the couch, silent.
“Lana, are you ok?”
“I’m fine Clark...except...”
“What?”
“The note...it was true, wasn’t it? I saw you dodge that bullet...you’re still alive. So that has to mean everything in the note was true, right?”
“Lana...”
“Clark, just tell me the truth...”
Clark sat beside her and stared into her eyes. “I’m sorry that you had to find out about me through that note...that’s not the way it was supposed to happen, and I’m sorry that it did. I wanted to tell you the truth, not have you read about it.”
“So...it was the truth?”
“Yes, it was. Everything in that note was true and real, from my feelings for you to where I’m from.”
“Krypton?”
“Yes. That’s where I was born, and my parents sent me here on the day of the meteor shower. You see, the meteors here in Smallville came here from my planet. The green kryptonite, the red kryptonite...”
“Kryptonite?”
“That’s what I call the meteor rock. The green stuff makes me sick, almost like I’m dying. That’s the only thing that can hurt me, at least physically. The red meteor rock has more of an emotional effect on me. When I get around red kryptonite, I get a little crazy, like the way you were when you were infected by the nicodemus flower.”
“When have you been infected by it?”
“Well, do you remember that time sophomore year when I kissed you at the Talon?”
“You were then?”
“Yes.”
“So that wasn’t really you who kissed me?”
“No it was. But it wasn’t at the same time. It’s hard to explain. Red kryptonite makes me not inhibited; I’m not afraid to do the things I want, so it was me, but the things I was doing weren’t things I, my real self, would do. Does that make any sense?”
Lana looked a little confused again. She had that look on her face for a long time. “Kind of.”
“The important thing for you to know is that I always care about you and love you no matter what infects me. And I never want to hurt you; I would do anything to make sure that you’re safe.”
“I know, Clark. And you always make me safe. Is that because you have, um, abilities?”
“Yeah.”
“What kind of things can do?”
“A lot of different things. Super-hearing for one, just got that not too long ago. I’ve always known about, and maybe always had, the super-speed and super-strength...I can’t even remember the first time I got those. But I got x-ray freshman year.”
“How?”
“Uh...you know, Lana, maybe this is a lot for you to take in for one night. Maybe I should come tomorrow and talk some more...”
Lana lifted an eyebrow. “Clark...”
“Alright. I was climbing the gym rope, next to Pete, and all of a sudden I could see his bones and muscles. Then I fell, and saw you through the wall, in the locker room.”
“In the locker room...was I changing?!”
“Maybe...”
“Oh my god.”
“It’s ok, it wasn’t a big deal.” Lana was absolutely petrified. “Then, sophomore year, I got my heat vision.”
“Please tell me that didn’t involve me...”
“No, it didn’t, it actually involved our biology teacher.”
“That one that married Lex?”
“Yeah, well, when she came into the school, and she was all sweaty, I just got, well, hot and boom...heat vision.”
“Oh geez...wait a minute, the fire at the Talon that day, that was you?”
“Yeah.”
“Wait, so you were “hot” then too? Because of me?”
Clark blushed a little. “Pretty much.”
“Oh, well, thanks.”
“Your welcome.” Clark laughed a little and stared into Lana’s eyes. “Are you ok with all of this so far. I know this is a lot to handle.”
“I’m fine, Clark. I guess reading the note kind of prepared me for all of this. Even though it’s still a little hard to believe, I know you aren’t lying, not to mention it makes sense. A lot things make sense now. I want you to know that I still accept you.” She smiled. “And love you.”
“You don’t know how much that means to me. And I love you.” He smiled back, and then kissed her softly. “Why are you crying?”
“Because I finally have what I’ve always wanted. The truth...and you.”
“And I promise you’ll always have both from now on.”
wow, that was such a sweet update!!!! so glad that clark opened up and told lana his abilities!!!!

Chapter Sixteen:
Lana squinted her eyes, the sun was brighter than it had ever been. She woke up to find herself in Clark’s arms, just where she had been throughout the entire night. She smiled at the sight of him, sleeping peacefully, chest moving up and down slowly; silently. She knew why he was so peaceful, laying there; he had been so worried she wouldn’t understand the truth, but suddenly all of the pressure and worry had left him when he knew she had; a giant weight was taken off his heart. To know she still felt the same way about him made him feel so good inside, she knew it, and she felt good inside too. It really didn’t bother her much, and this surprised her at first. Then she realized that he was still the same person; the person she loved, and that’s why it didn’t matter. There was no one who made her feel the way he did, and there was no other person she’d rather be with, and that didn’t change after she found out the truth. And she knew Clark would always feel the same way about her too, no matter who he was. Things were finally the way they both wanted them. They were finally together, with nothing standing in their way.
Lana got closer to Clark, and then he shifted when he felt her breath on him. He breathed in deeply, then let out a heavy sigh. “Good morning.”
“Morning.” Lana took Clark’s hand into hers. “Last night so perfect, don’t you think?”
“Yeah, it really was. I’m glad that things only got better between us.”
“Me too. I love you so much.” She squeezed his hand and bit her lip.
“I love you too. So, how are you?”
“To tell you the truth, I don’t think I’ve ever been better...”
“Did I have something to do with that?”
“Actually, Mr. Kent, you had everything to do with that. So I think I should make you a little happy...” She kissed him deeply, and when their lips parted, the rest of them didn’t. They both sat there, close together, motionless, eyes closed, just taking in the moment.
“Well, I think it’s my turn to make breakfast for you.”
“Good luck. There’s no food to cook...”
“Then I guess we’ll just have to go to the Talon.”
“Alright, let me change my clothes.” She realized that her and Clark fell asleep before she got a chance to put night clothes on.
“What can I wear?”
“Well, you can try on some of my pink shirts, although I really don’t think they’ll look good on you, nor fit.” She smiled.
“Very funny. I guess I’ll just stay in these clothes...”
“Hehe, I’ll be right back.” Clark watched Lana as she walked towards the bathroom, starting to take her shirt off. He thought ‘She won’t mind...nothin’ I haven’t seen before...”

I like in chapter 15 when Clark tells Lana his secret, he's not afraid to tell her how 2 of his powers involved her and sex. That was great. But they all are good. Can't wait for more. Have u read mine? It's called season 5 episode 22:Reassurance. It's in the Clana section too.

Chapter Seventeen:
On the way to the Talon, Clark had one hand on the wheel, while the other one was in Lana’s hand; they never wanted to let each other go. They walked in, and after they ordered their coffee and muffins, they heard a familiar voice.
“Hey, guys.”
“Hey, Chloe.” They both said.
Clark: How are you feeling?
Chloe: Oh, I’m feeling better. My head still hurts a little, but it’s nothing a little aspirin can’t cure.
Lana: Well, I’m glad to hear it. Sorry about everything.
Clark: Yeah, we really didn’t mean to get you involved.
Chloe: It’s no big deal...I’m still alive, and that’s the important thing, right?
Clark: Right.
Chloe: Uh, Lana, can I talk to you for a second?
Lana: Sure. We’ll be right back Clark.
Clark: Ok, I’ll get us a seat.
“Chloe, is everything alright?”
“Um, I think so. Look Lana, I’m going to be completely honest with you right now.”
“Ok.”
“When Clark came to save us...I saw something....I saw him.”
“You mean, you weren’t unconscious?”
Chloe paused for a moment. “No, I wasn’t. I saw him...survive a bullet. I know you saw it too. Can you explain it?”
“Chloe, I...I don’t know what you’re talking about...I didn’t see anything.”
“Lana, please don’t lie right now.”
“I’m not...”
Chloe stared at her confusingly. “Alright,well, I guess I have figure this out for myself.”
“Chloe...”
“No, Lana, I know what I saw, and I’m gonna figure out what happened. I’ll see ya around.”
Lana walked back over to Clark. “Lana, is everything ok?”
“Clark...Chloe saw you.”
“Saw what?”
“Saw you survive that bullet Jason shot. She told me that she was going to figure out what happened, and I think she might. If she asks you about it, are you going to tell her the truth?”
Clark stood there shocked. “I’m not sure...”
OOOOOOOOOOOOO.......I WONDER HOW CHLOE'S GOING TO FIND IT OUT ON HER OWN BY CLARK OR WITHOUT.....PPMS!!!!

Chapter Eighteen:
Chloe scanned the Wall of Weird. There were a lot of stories that Clark had been involved with. She knew this was true all along, but until now she never thought much of it. She figured he was just always at the right place at the right time, but that’s not what really happened. But she was going to find out what did. She decided that she’d handle this like any other story, even if it did involve her best friend; she was going to do what ever it took to find out the truth.
Chloe sat down on her computer and got on the internet. When she went to type a search in, she didn’t know where to begin. What was she going to put, ‘Best Friend gets shot but then gets up right after and is perfectly unharmed’ stories? Searching online wasn’t going to work this time. She needed another type of source; another witness. She thought for a while “Even if Lana had seen something, she not going to talk. Why is she protecting him anyway? Does she know the truth?” Chloe decided it didn’t matter if Lana knew, she just wanted to know. She had to find someone else that saw what Clark could do, but wouldn’t be afraid to admit it; someone to reassure her that she didn’t just imagine what happened. But who?

“Clark, finally you’re home!” Mr. and Mrs. Kent had arrived back from Metropolis that morning.
“Hi Mom, Dad.”
“How are you Son? Anything happen while we were gone?”
“Oh, just a few things.”
“Care to elaborate?”
“Lana’s old boyfriend followed her here from Paris and started threatening her and I when he found out we were back together. He attacked Chloe, then Lana, and then me.”
“Where is he now?” Martha asked.
“He’s in prison...he saw me survive the bullet he shot at me, but I don’t think we have to worry about him...they think he’s crazy.”
“And Lana and Chloe?”
“What about them?”
“Did they see anything?” Jonathan asked.
Clark looked down to the ground and then his eyes came back up slowly. “Yes.”
“Which one?”
“Both...and I told Lana the truth; she’s fine with it.”
“But Chloe isn’t?” Martha asked.
“I haven’t exactly told Chloe yet. I thought she was unconscious during the whole thing, but today she talked to Lana about it, and told her that she was going to find out what happened.”
“And what exactly does that mean, Clark?”
“I don’t know, Dad, but she’s my friend...she wouldn’t do anything to hurt me.” “I think...” Clark thought.

“Right down that hall Miss Sullivan.”
“Thank you.” Chloe walked down a dark, steel hallway. It was so cold a shiver ran down her back, which made her even more nervous. What she was about to do she didn’t want to, but she had to. It was the only thing that she could do in order to find out about Clark. And who she was about to talk to was the only other person that might’ve seen what she had seen, and she needed to make sure that she wasn’t crazy. After a few slow steps, she turned and faced a prison cell.
“You look familiar...”
“I should, you practically killed me last night.”
“Oh, you’re Lana’s friend...it’s all coming back to me now, I guess I just forgot about you for a little while.”
“Well, I could never forget about you...Jason...”

“What exactly do you want?”
“I have to ask you something about Clark Kent.”
“Shoot...not literally though.”
“When the police were taking you away, I heard you scream that Clark had been shot but was unharmed and, obviously, still alive. Was that really what you saw?”
“Yes, it was.”
“What happened?”
“I don’t really know. He was pissing me off so I went to shoot him, and when I did, he didn’t fall or anything. He just ran over to Lana, untied her, and then grabbed my neck. And he did this really fast too.”
“That’s all?”
“Yes! What do you care anyway?”
“I’m just trying to figure out what happened, that’s all.”
“So you saw it too, huh?”
“Yes. Yes I did. And now, thanks to you, I know everything I saw really did happen.”

Clark sat with Lana on the dock at the lake. He sat quietly, occasionally skipping a few rocks into the water. “Clark, are you ok?”
“Yeah, I’m fine.”
“Clark...”
“I’m just worried that Chloe is going to find out about me.”
“Why does that worry you? She’s you’re friend isn’t she?”
“Yeah, my best friend, but that doesn’t mean I’m ready for her to know. I love you and you just found out. I just want her to find out by me telling her, when I’m ready, not by her prying into my life.”
“And what if she does find out by prying?”
“Then I guess I’ll have to explain a few things.”
“Look, she’s your friend, and she cares about you. That’s why she wants to know. I don’t think she’s considering you to be one of her stories.”
“I guess that makes me feel a little bit better...”

“Alright Chloe, will that be all?”
“Yes, that’s all I need thank you. Goodbye.”
“Now wait a minute...I did something for you, now you have to do something for me.”
“Like what?”
“Kill Clark.”
“Why would I do that.”
“Because he’s been lying to you.”
Chloe thought about what Jason said. It was true, he had been lying to her. He claimed that they were such good friends but he lied to her. “But he’s my friend...I care about him, and I would never, ever hurt him. Goodbye Jason.” Chloe turned and walked back down the hall.
“Chloe! Come back here! Come back!...”

Clark sat up in the loft of the barn. With everything that had been going on, he hadn’t had a moment up there in a long time; a moment just to take everything in and think, alone.
“Hi Clark. I hope I didn’t come at a bad time.”
“Chloe...uh, no. This is as good as time as any.”
“Um, I wanted to talk to you. I’m sure Lana already told you about our conversation at the Talon, and I wanted to explain.”
“You don’t have to, Chloe. But what you saw...”
“Clark, I know exactly what I saw. We all saw it. I talked with Jason and...”
“Jason?! What did you go talk to him for?!”
“Because he’d tell me the truth when you wouldn’t, Clark! I knew you wouldn’t be honest with me.”
“When I am ready, I will be. But I do NOT want you researching my life. You do this all the time, and I’m tired of it. Just trust me, Chloe, and trust that I’ll tell you everything when the time is right.”
“Does Lana know the truth?”
“What?”
“Does Lana know the truth!”
“Yes. Yes, she does. But that’s because I...” Clark stopped himself.
“Because why, Clark?”
Clark spoke softly, practically under his breath. “Because I love her.”
Chloe started to choke up and a tear ran down her cheek. “I see.”
“Chloe...”
“No, Clark, it’s alright. I’ve known that all along. When you’re ready to be honest with me, you know where to find me.” Chloe walked down the steps. Her footsteps echoed; other then those beats, the entire loft was silent.

Clark walked into the Torch to find Chloe preparing for the new school year. She looked up at him startled. “Clark.”
“Hi, Chloe.”
“What are you doing here?”
“You told me to find you when I was ready to tell you the truth. I am now. Before I start though, I want you to know that I really do care about you very much. Not telling you everything from the beginning was not because I didn’t trust you, or because I didn’t consider you a friend, but I wanted to make sure you trusted me first, I guess. And you really have to trust me to believe what I’m going to tell you.”
Chloe smiled, but tried not to act too excited. “You know, Clark, thinking about it, you really don’t have to tell me anything...I have idea already. For now, let’s just say that’ll we’ll always be friends, and we’ll always been honest with each other. Let’s leave the complicated stuff for later, deal?”
Clark gave a huge grin. “Deal.” Chloe came over to him and hugged him.

ONE MONTH LATER (at school)
“Hey Lana.”
“Hey Clark.”
“How was your day?”
“Ugh, I can’t wait to graduate...that means no more school, no more tests, no more teachers. After twelve years of this, it’s getting a little trite, don’t you think?”
“Well, I think they like punishing us as much as they can for as long as they can.”
“Yeah, well, at least we only have one more year of this torture.”
“You ready to go?”
“Yes, let’s please leave!”
“Haha, alright.”
Clark and Lana drove to her apartment. Everything was finally unpacked, and Lana even did a little painting. Well, she had Clark do a little painting; it was quicker that way.
“So Clark, do you know what today is?”
“Actually, I do.”
“And?”
“It’s our one month anniversary.”
“And...”
“The anniversary of me telling you the truth?”
“Hehe, yes.” She kissed him as a reward for being right. “This day’s pretty important, isn’t it?”
“Yeah it is. We revealed so many feelings to each other on this day...feelings that’ll never go away.”
“I know I don’t want them to.”
“Neither do I.” He smiled at her. “So, since this day is so important, what do you wanna do? Dinner? Movie?”
“Hmm, I thought we could just stick around here.” She pulled him close and kissed him passionately. “Just a little preview of what we’ll be doing...”
“Sounds good to me...”
They spent the rest of the night with each other, expressing their love for one another. They’re lives were finally the way they wanted them to be. Lana had the truth. Clark had acceptance. And they both had each other. Feelings were revealed one month ago, and more and more were being uncovered everyday.

I liked the ending, I wanted Clark to tell Chloe, but it's alright. You should right more when you get the chance.

sry for the sudden end...i just figured it was time to end it. plus, i've started writing another story, so i've been putting a lot of time into that one
