Prologue:

It was a quiet, uneventful afternoon in Smallville, as Lana walked along side Crator Lake. The weather was calm, the wind felt like a breeze. It was the first day of summer vacation, Chloe went to her cousins place for awhile. 'Well at least I still have Clark to be me company, She told herself as she walked to a nearby tree, for some shade.

She stood there for a moment, before sitting down beside a tall oak tree. Her back was to the tree's base and her focus was on the shimmering smooth surface of Crator Lark. She sighed as she sat there, thinking back at the things that had happened in her life. She wonder when will Clark, open up, tell her the full truth. But then again, she feared it as well.

She wonder what it could been, what was he hidding from me? She asked herself as she always did. It seemed to puzzled her, the question of what was hidden under that farm boy facade. Was it just that? Was there nothing under it or was something hidden there, waiting for the right time to come out.

Maybe, She said to herself as she sat there. Or maybe not, either way there was something about him, I couldn't my finger on it. But there's something about Clark, that seems to puzzle me as the time goes by. She paused for a moment at the thought.

It was quiet as she sat there, deep in thoughts and questions that led to more questions rather then answers. It made her feel weird though, asking herself things that didn't concern her. But then again, what did? What concerned her? The fact was almost everyone in her life had something else to do rather then talk to her.

She knew that it was normal, to have other stuff to do rather then to sit down and talk. But then again, she paused at the thought. Maybe I'm better off on my own She said to herself as she sat there looking at the leaves that blew by. 'Why stay here? A place that causes more questions rather answers,

She paused at the thought, 'Maybe, but where else can I go? There was no other place besides here. Maybe' She sighed as she sat there looking at the smooth shimmering lake. Her thoughts seem to annoy her even further, as if there were hundreds of different voices, asking different questions, agruining with each other as if she was a toy doll.

Chapter One:

Wish I could....

Lana sat there, as usually it was a slow day, not many people wanted to hang out in a small place when they could be out doing something else. 'Why am I here? She asked herself as she got to her feet. 'I could be doing something better, then waiting here for nothing to happen, yea, that's what I'll do, I'll She paused for a moment as a girl suddenly walked in followed by a tall handsome guy in a light blue shirt.

"Hi," Lana said in her usual tone as she stood there. "How may I help you?" She replied as the two sat down on two nearby stools. "Umm a small cup of coffee" the handsome guy replied in a calm tone. "I'm sure Buffy's fine," He said to the girl that sat beside him. "Yea I guess," The young girl replied as she looked at a tray of chocolate chip cookies that stood on the counter.

"Lana," came Clark's voice. Lana turned and saw Clark as he appeared from the doorway. "Lana, I need to..." He paused for a moment, thinking of what to say as he stood there. 'Should I tell her? My secrets or not? He asked himself as he stood there. "I need to talk to you, meet me later in the loft." He said in a calm tone.

Lana stood there for a moment. 'I love him, but what was he going to talk about? Maybe, She paused at the thought, pondering what could he wanted to say later that was so important. He seemed nervous. 'I love her, but why can't I tell her my secrets, maybe I'm just scared, yea that's it. I've been scared of what she might think, if she knew about me, the real me. He paused at the thought as he walked outside and down the street.

'But then again He said to himself as he walked along the main street. Maybe she'll understand why I didn't say anything, why I couldn't bring myself to telling her why I didn't tell her. But what if... He paused at the thought, the thought that maybe she won't love him anymore or be scared to even talk to him ever again.

'These worries, always seem to plaque me as I think of what if, the what ifs of this whole thing. What if I did tell her now, what if I did say something, and what if she.... He paused for a moment as he walked home. It was quiet as he walked home, his parents were away on a trip to Metropolis.

OK, I'll try to keep that in mind, actually I figured that would happen. I was surprised at first, but now I know the pattern. Most of the Smallville fans seem to never seen Buffy and Buffy fans never seemed interested in Smallville :\, anyway I'll try to keep it mostly Smallville.

Chapter Two:

I wish I could..... part II

It was quiet as he stood there, questions, worries and fears rushed through his mind as he stood there. 'What should I say, I can't just say, Lana, I'm an alien, and I really like you, no that wouldn't sound right. Hi Lana, the truth is I'm an alien, don't tell anyone else' He paused at the thought.

He stood there for a moment before pacing the loft in silence. This was the second time he told someone his secret so far. 'Pete, He said to himself as I paced the loft. 'He left because of my secret, what if she does to' He paused at the thought, the idea of not being with her was dishearting.

Lana paused for a moment, she stood there looking up at Clark as he paced the loft. She was hesitatent for a moment as she stood there beside the barn door that stood wide open. She sighed and started through them. She walked across the barn and up the stairs to Clark's loft. She knew it has that, since he was always there and that was what she liked about him. He was predictable and honest.

Or that's what she thought, but she wonder what was there underneath this so called farm boy facade. Maybe there's nothing at all. Or maybe that's just naive, to think that way, that this whole thing was so predictable and that maybe something is hidden, but what was it? What was hidden? If this was just the surface, then what was below it and why was it hidden?

"You wanted to say something," she said to him as he paced the loft. He stopped, turned and looked at her. "Yea," He said in a nervous tone as he stood there. "You could sit down, if you want." "No thanks," She replied in a calm tone as she stood there at the top of the stairway. "What was it? Is there something you want to talk about?" She asked in a calm, but somewhat nervous tone.

"Umm, it's hard to say. I'm not sure if I should tell you or not." She smiled at him as she moved a little closer. "Clark," She said in a calm, but somewhat nervous tone. "You know, that whatever it is, whatever is brothering you, you could tell me and I won't say a word to any one." She said in a slowly nervous tone as she stood there looking at him.

"I wish it was that simple," He replied in a nervous and somewhat scared tone. "But alas, it isn't, that simple, but it's not." He paused for a moment as he stood there. "I love you," She replied in a near nervous tone as she looked into his eyes. The pause slowly turn into awkward silence as they looked at each other.

Chapter Three:

New Friends......

"I'm not really," Clark paused as he felt his hear beat a little faster. "I don't know what to say, but I have to say it, I'm an alien." Lana looked at him for a moment. 'A what?' She asked herself, not sure what he was telling her. "Oh," She replied in a nervous tone as she looked at him.

It was as if they were meeting for the very first time; awkward silence, the lost of words, the awkward feelings in that seem scare both of them as they starred at each other. "I have to go," She finally said in a nervous tone. She glanced at him for a moment before turning and went down stairs.

'It was odd, I mean, I now know what he was, I now know who he was and it wasn't Clark Kent, She paused at the thought as she walked along the dirt path that went alongside the main road. 'Oh god, why do I feel weird about this, maybe it's because the predictablity is now gone It was weird though, feeling as if something was lost and replaced by something, new and awkward. Nothing seemed weirder, but was normal? Nothing seemed real, or right here in this small town.

The following day seemed calm as Lana walked along side Crator Lake. She noticed that there was someone sitting on the edge of the pier. The girl looked like the one from the prevous day. "Hi," Lana said as she sat down beside the young bruenette. "Hi," The young girl replied in a calm tone as she looked at the shimmery surface of the lake. "My names Dawn by the way." The young girl said as she sat there.

"Oh, well my names Lana, so where you from? Dawn"

"I'm from California,"

Dawn paused for a moment, she then looked at Lana.

"So is it always quiet here?"

"Not always, but this is usually it's better days. Usually there's either a twister or a meteor freak or two"

"A what? What's a meteor freak? Is it a geek with meteor obessions or what?"

"Oh, the person usually shows weird strengths and tries to either kill people and take over the world or tries to save people. That's what I meant by meteor freak."

"Oh, well this is nice. I mean, the lake looks beautiful, it's like a postcard photo, but in 3-d."

Lana smiled as she felt a little relaxed, she figured that it would be best not to worry in front of new people.

"Yea, it's way better then a photo."

Chapter Four

The evil and stuff .....

It was a quiet, cold night, the air was still and a chill was in the air. A dark figure walked alone, his face covered, hidden in the shadow of the thick shadows of the forest. Another figured appeared beside the first figure. "Is it working?" The second figure said as he stood there. "Yes," came a dark, cold and audible voice.

"Good," Replied the second figure. "So the slayer is isolated from-" "But what about Naman?" "Naman? He is a different story. I'll deal with him later. But the slayer must be isolated." "Yes, she is, but not for long." "Good," The second figure replied as he turned and walked away.

The following days seemed uneventful, Lana continued to think about that one moment, the moment when predictablity was throw out and replaced by worries and unknown certainties. What was wrong with me? She asked herself as she stood there. Maybe it's not me, maybe it's something with she paused for a moment as she stood there looking up at the ceiling, deep in thoughts and concerns that seem to consume her.

"Hello," came Dawn's voice. Lana paused and then looked at the young bruenette. "Oh hi," Lana replied as she stood there. "So what was that about? I mean the deep stare into outer space." "Oh, I got alot of things on my mine." Dawn looked carefully into Lana's eyes. "It's OK, I was just wondering why you were all zoned for about ten minutes." "Oh, yea it's just that I got stuff on my mind. That's all, so what could I help you with?"

"Oh, well not much, I just wanted to hang out with you. My friends are well busy with stuff and well I don't feel like starring at a going no where lake while the sun beats down on me." There was a pause as Lana stood there. "Oh, I'm sure your friends will..." She paused for a moment not knowing what was there to say. "well it's kinda boring here as well." "I know, I can tell from the quiet room and zoning outs that this is kinda boring. But at least we have something to talk about at least."

Hours passed by as the two talked, "So he loves you, but you don't know if it's true?" Dawn asked as she stood beside Lana. "Well, he told me his secret and well -" "He's not gay is he?" Lana laughed at the thought. "No, of course not, he's well not normal in a sense." "Oh sounds interesting, go on..." "Well, I'm not sure of anything now..." There was a pause as the two looked at each other.

"Lana, if you love Clark, then tell him even if this secret causes weird, awkward moments, moments, it's just moments, that's all we ever have. Simple and sometimes hard to grasp, but basically we only have that." She smiled at Lana as she turned and headed toward the door. "Um Lana, it's been nice, but I have to go. Bye." "Bye," Lana replied as she stood. She thought of what Dawn said and it made a lot of sense to her, she knew now what to do now.

A/N: One of the quotes will be from Buffy Season Six, I think it fits well with this chapter. So that's why I choose to put in the Tara quote.

Chapter Five:

The kiss.....

Lana stood there for a moment, thinking back at what Dawn said, '...moments, it's just moments, that's all we ever have. Simple and sometimes hard to grasp, but basically we only have that.' Lana then stood there in the doorway, she looked up into the loft, there stood Clark in his loft.

It was quiet as she walked slowly across the barn toward the stairway that led up to Clark's loft. Somethings change, somethings, for some reasons don't change at all. It was odd though, she thought that this whole perdictablity thing was thrown completely out the door, but there he was, still lingering in his secret place, the place where he could be himself.

"Lana," He said as he turned around and looked at her. "I didn't notice you..." He paused for a moment as he stood there. It became quiet as Lana stood there looking at him. She didn't know what to say, or if there was anything left to say. Her mind was racing with thoughts, worries and questions that seems to twist her heart into knots as she looked at him.

Moments, just moments Lana heard this over and over again in her mind as she tried to figure out what to say. It was so awkward, seeing him for the first time ever since he told her his secrets one day ago. "I'm sorry, I wasn't sure...." He paused for a moment. "Can we just skip it? Can you just be kissing me now?" Lana replied in a calm tone as she stood there looking into Clark's eyes. She closed her eyes and felt safe, it wasn't awkward.

"Buffy, are you OK?" Willow asked as she stood there. "Fine, how's Kansas?" "Oh, it's OK." Willow replied as she sat on the couch. "I mean, there's not alot of demonic evil, just a couple of vamps and demons that were easy yo kill, well not easy, but almost easy... to kill, so how's Vancouver, I heard it's nice this time of year."

"It's well, OK, I mean, there's been a few vamps and stuff like that and.... there were these two demons that showed up. I'm not sure where they were going, but I have a bad feeling they were heading in your direction," she paused for a moment as she looked at the map, "Umm Smallville, Kansas," "Oh, how do you...." "Know, well there was a map of Kansas and it shows Smallville, in a yellow marker and I'm not sure what it's about, but whatever it is. It's not good and well I have to go, bye" "Bye"

Chapter Six:

The Vampire Slayer...

Lana felt a relaxed as she placed her arms around his waist. A calm feeling rushed through as she stood there. It was a pleasent feeling, nothing seemed to matter as she kissed him. It wasn't bad actually, she said to herself. 'It was the first normal feeling that didn't confuse me or scared me, it was pleasent.

Dawn walked up the stairs, she paused for a moment as she looked at Clark and Lana as they stood there. Dawn just stood there, before taking two steps back. She peered through the gap in the railing and just watched as the two kissed. It was like one of those Hallmark moments Dawn said to herself as she stood there.

Dawn stood there for a moment, deep in thoughts as she watched the two kiss. too bad, I don't have a camera. Maybe I should write this in my journal, She said to herself as she started down the stairs and out the barn doors. It was a quiet, cold and dark night as Dawn walked toward the Kent household. She figured that it would be best to call Willow from there.

The following morning, Lana walked into a nearly empty Talon, besides a few people and Dawn. "So Lana," Dawn said as she sat there beside the counter. "So what?" Replied Lana as she stood there. "How was last night?" "Oh, well uneventful..." "Lana, I was there, I saw you and a certain flannel wearing farm boy kiss."

"Oh, well, in words, all I can tell you is that words can't describe how I felt." Lana replied in a excited tone. "Oh wow, so it was that good?" "Yea," Lana replied in a sleepy tone. "Oh, by the way, my older sister is coming to town in a few hours." "Oh wow, that's nice of her. So why was she gone anyway?" "Oh, she had a job in Vancouver."

Meanwhile in a dark alleyway beside the Talon. A figure stood there for a moment looking at the floor before the sounds of footsteps became audible from one end of the darken alleyway. "The plan has failed" came a dark figured from one end of the alleyway. "Yes, it has, so what do we do now?" The first figure replied in a tense tone.

"Don't worry, the plan is still a float, we just need to find a way to separate her from the othes." replied the second figure as he stood there. "Are you sure we don't need to worry about this Naman person?" The first figure replied as he looked at the second figure. "I'm sure of it, we only need to worry about the vampire slayer."

Chapter Seven:

Looking back on.....

'It was kinda weird, three months had passed since that day. wrote Willow as she sat there, her diary opened and a pen in her right hand. 'It's hard to explain in words what had happened. Sometimes I tend to want to forget rather then linger on those memories that give me grieve.

She paused for a moment, thinking back on what had happened, made her feel feelings that seemed died and forgotten for so long. "Willow" came Dawn's voice. "Hi," Willow replied as she closed her diary and got to her feet.

"Anything new with you?"

"Not much, I met a new friend."

"Oh that's nice,"

"How about you?" Dawn replied in a calm tone.

"Anything new with you?"

"Well not much, I just well feel relaxed."

'I worry about Willow,' Dawn said to herself as she looked into Willow's eyes. 'She hasn't said much for several days now and that's kinda makes me worried, when someone just decideds to be all quiet person rather then say something. I knew that she still misses Tara, I do to. She paused at the thought.

"So who's your new friend?"

"Lana, she works at the Talon."

"Oh, is she nice?"

"Yea, she's nice. I trust her and we talked for hours about life."

"That sounds nice, I wish I found someone new." Willow replied as she stood there looking at the floor. "Well, I could introduce you to Lana, if you want?" "No, I'm fine, really. I'm... OK." Willow replied as she stood there. She wasn't really up to meeting new people, not yet,

Hi, to anyone who never watched Buffy. There were will be people that sound new to you. For instance Tara, don't worry. I'll tell you about her and other characters and terms that will make some sense, in some way.

Tara is Willow's love interest who died in season six of Buffy. Her relationship with Willow was pure and honest until Willow got addicted to magics. Warren accidently shot Tara when he tried to kill Buffy. It caused Willow to go bad for at least three episodes. She killed Warren in anger and tried to destroy the world, but Xander brought Willow back from the dark place. I'll say more later, but now here's.....more of my fanfic.....

Chapter Eight:

Meeting a dead person....

Lana stood there for a moment, she wasn't sure where she was or how she got here. But she decided to wonder about, rather then stand there like an idiot. She paused for a moment at a tall blonde girl, she stood there, beside a window cell. "Hi," She said as Lana stood there. "Hi," The girl turned around and there in the left upper portion of her body, there appeared to be a gun shot wound.

The girl smiled at Lana as she noticed the shock look. "Oh that, it's not bad. Death is simple, my names Tara by the way." "What happened to you?" "I died, a few months ago. I remember it well, the moment when I lost conciscousness. I wonder why I'm standing here, we never met have we?" "No" Tara stood there for a moment before walking toward the door. "Well then I guess, this is goodbye. It's too bad we never met, you seem like a nice person." She smiled at the confused look on Lana's face.

"Maybe I should just stay," Tara said in a calm tone. "So your dead?" Tara laughed for a moment before sitting down. "Yes, I'm dead..." "But why are you..." "I'm not alive, this is just a dream. I just tried to reach Willow, but I failed. I figured since Dawn knew you, that maybe you could tell her." "How do you know who..." "who Dawn is? It's simple, I was one of her friends until well." Tara looked down at the bullet wound.

"What happened?" Lana asked as she stood there. "I died, that's all I know and remember. It was fast, my death, I mean I saw the blood splat out onto Willow's shirt. The last words I remember was Willow, your shirt and then I fell to the ground." Lana looked at Tara for a moment. "Relax, your not dead, this is just a dream."

"It's not that, I'm just wondering why me?" Lana asked as she sat beside Tara. Tara smiled at the simple question. "I'm not sure why you, all I know is that when I tried to reach Willow, I failed and then I saw you and Dawn." "How" "Simple, I'm a ghost, I could walk anywhere and not be seen. I wanted to track Dawn and there you were. I thought maybe you could help me."

"OK, with what?" "When you wake up, Dawn will introduce you to Willow. When she does, I want you to look carefully at Willow. Look at her face and then when we meet again, I want you to tell me everything you saw in her face." "Why?" "I want to know if she's OK," Tara replied as she then got to her feet. "Til we meet again. bye." "Bye" Lana replied as the room faded away slowly.

Tara loves Willow and Willow loves Tara right?(are thay both girls?)....Warren shot Tara by accidednt trying to kill Buffy(why did he/she wan to kill Buffy? are they enemies?)Willow went psycho and killed Warren and tried to take over the world?!and then Xander helped her/him out and brought her/him to the good side? or bad side? i need to consult a friend who loves buffy...

Well, here's some more answers for those who are a little confused.

Willow and Tara loved each other, yes they were both girls. Their relationship was getting a little tense, mostly got intense in season six. The problem was Willow was going too far with magics, she was addicted and Tara was scared about it. She wasn't sure how to tell Willow though, she wanted Willow to stop using so much magics.

Yes, Warren and Buffy were enemies. Warren was a leader of a geek group called the Trio (The Trio was sort of a joke rather then evil, but that was at the early parts of season six, they became more evil during the season progresses.) Warren wanted Revenage, so he shot Buffy once, fired into the air and the bullet went through the window and accidently hit Tara. He didn't even know that happened until he Willow told him and then killed him by using magics.

Willow tried to kill the other two Jonathan and Andrew, the other members of the Trio. They didn't want anyone to die, they didn't even know about the attempt on Buffy's life. Until Anya(Xander's love interest until she was killed in the very last episode of Buffy) tellaported into their jail cell to warn them about Evil Willow's plans. They some how got away and headed toward the magic shop.

While this was happening, Dawn(Buffy's young sister/the key) and Glem(A friendly, honest demon) went to find someone who might help. But found Evil Willow instead, she almost killed Dawn until Buffy came and tried to convince Willow that revenage wasn't a good way to go. Willow wasn't conviced in anyway, she then replied with a long speech while tellaporting both Dawn and Buffy to the Magic ship.

Willow tried to kill the other two, but Anya protected them by using a protection spell. She was hidden behind a book shelve that's why Willow didn't know where the spell came from or who was doing it. She powered herself up, but the two, Xander and Dawn got out of their before she tried to kill them.

Buffy and Willow had a big fight, Willow knocked out Anya and then Buffy. She thought she was all powerful until Giles (Buffy's watcher, which means he trains her and is also one of Willow's friends, but he left Sunnydale and went to England. now he returned learning that the bad vibe was from Willow and not some unknown dark force) knocks her off her feet. He then trapted her in some weird glowing light.

She managed to trick Anya into releasing her from this weird glowing light. She made a fire ball and sent it toward the others. Buffy then tried to warn the others about the danger. Willow and Giles were the only ones left in the Magic Shop. Willow tried to suck the magics from Giles and felt a rush of engry surge through her. She felt tapped into the world in a way. She also felt (I;m not sure of this) the world's pains and wanted to stop it.

She tried to raise some temple, meanwhile Dawn and Buffy were trapted inside a tunnel that was made by the fire ball. The other two Trio members got away realizing that Xander would have to focus on saving Buffy and Dawn to notice them as they escaped. Willow then mentally talked to Buffy about the world and Willow used her magics to make zombies appear to take back Buffy. She fought them trying to protect Dawn.

While they were fighting off zombies, Willow was nearly done rasing the temple but was stopped when Xander got in the way, He stood there trying to convice her to stop. He kept reminding Willow of the past. He said things like this

"First day of kindergarten you cried 'cause you broke the yellow crayon and you were too afraid to tell anyone. You've come pretty far, ending the world, not a terrific notion but the thing is, yeah. I love you. I loved crayon-breaky Willow and I love scary veiny Willow. So if I'm going out, it's here. You wanna kill the world, you start with me. I've earned that."

Evil Willow was slowly getting weak at this point. She tried to shut Xander up, but in the end, she couldn't and the temple just stood there. Willow cried on Xander's shoulder, Buffy and Dawn managed to get out of the tunnel, Giles and Anya also survived and that was the last episode of season six. Willow stared to become normal at the start of the seventh season, which was the last season.

Chapter Nine:

Forgotten memories Part I.....

Lana stood there for a moment, she wasn't sure of anything now. She fell for a alien, she met a dead person and now she's helping a dead person. She felt relaxed though, she remembered the look on Tara's face and knew what it meant. She felt the same thing about Clark as Tara did about Willow. "So are you ready?" Dawn asked as she walked into Lana's room.

"Yea," Lana replied as she stood there. "I'm ready," Dawn smiled as she turned and walked toward the door. Both Lana and Dawn were going to meet Willow and Xander at the Talon and then head over to the park and have a nice picnic. Lana inivited Clark, but he was busy with something and wasn't avaiable at the time. But hopefully he'll show up anyway.

Lana walked alongside Dawn as they headed toward the Talon. Lana wasn't sure if she should tell them what she heard and saw in her dream. It felt so real, she was in Tara's room. The vision seemed real, maybe it was. She thought about it ever since she woke up. The thought that someone, she never met came to her in a dream.

"Willow, relax, it's just a picnic..." "A picnic?" came Buffy's voice from behind. "Buffy" Willow replied as she got to her feet, "I miss you," "So your going on a picnic? Can I came?" "Sure, more the merryier" Xander replied as he got to his feet and smiled at the sight of Buffy standing there.

Lana walked in to the Talon, "Buffy" Dawn said as she walked pass by Lana. "I'm glad your here," She said in a calm tone. "This is my new friend, Lana, I told you guys about her." "Yea, sure, nice to meet you Lana" Buffy replied as she saw Lana standing by the door. "Hi," Lana replied as she looked at two girls and guy.

"So ready to go?" Willow asked as she started toward the door, carrying a small basket of food in one arm. "So what's a good place for a picnic?" Willow asked Lana as they walked outside. "Oh, there's Evan's field, it's quiet and very beautiful this year. Oh and Chandlier's field, it's also nice this time of year." "well, Evan's field sounds nice." Dawn said in a calm tone.

Chapter Ten:

Forgotten memories part II....

Lana sat there for a moment, the others seemed to have a good time talking about the past and how they met for the first time. All of them seem like family more then just friends. Xander had some of the funniest stories, Lana had ever heard in her life. It was peaceful, everything seemed normal for once.

'It was hard to explain, the feeling that this was normal, for the first time in my whole life. I'm not sure what else was there to say, I mean we all had funny stories to tell and Xander seemed like the comic type. Clark felt confident and so did I, I guess it was because he felt confident. I'm not really sure, but all in all, I felt like a ordinary teenage girl for once, not some girl that sci-fi freaks were in love with. I just felt normal, it was a weird feeling, but somewhat calming as I sat there.'

A few minutes passed by, as they talked, ate what was in the basket and shared stories about their first year in high school. Dawn was the youngest of the group and was also a freshmen in Smallville high. Lana and Clark were seniors and Buffy, Xander and Willow just finished high school a few years ago. "The whole school blew up into the ground," "So the mayor was a giant snake?" Lana asked as she took another of soda.

"Yea, he was and he ate the principal too, we all had weapons and started to fight this snake thing, but then we turned and started to fight this group of vampires." "Wow, so that's what graduation is like?" "Yep, basically that's what it's like on the Hellmouth." "Wow, well at least it won't happen here. I mean it's not like we have out weird moments, did I tell you about this one blonde girl that could tellaport to any place..." She paused for a moment as she looked at Xander.

"What's wrong?" Lana asked as she looked into Xander's eyes, trying to see what the problem might have been. "Well Anya had that sort of power and well she died. But she wasn't a meteor freak, she was more of a demon person who was afraid of bunnies." "Oh, relax, I'm sure you'll find someone," Lana replied as she tried to cheer up Xander.

Chapter 11

The unknown...

Lana was glad that Clark showed up for the picnic, he told her that a picnic was a good idea and that it won't be half bad to get outside and feel the fresh air. It would also mean get to know some friends as well. "Dawn, did you make any new friends in school?" "Oh well it's kinda summer and well I'm going to the tenth grade and these two will be seniors, isn't that right? Lana." "Yea, were Juniors last year."

"I meant, did you at least try make new friends during the school year?" "Oh yea Lana, Clark and some girl, I forgot who since she transfered to a different school. But she gave me a picture of me and her, posing. Here it is..." Dawn said as she showed them a photo of her and some Mexican girl. "Oh, she looks nice." Tara said as she stood there.

Lana turned and saw the blonde girl standing there. "They can't see me," Tara said as she stood there. "Relax, I just need to talk to you," Lana hestited before she made a descision. She got to her feet and said to the others that, she needed to talk to someone. They looked at her for a moment, before Clark started to talk about visions of the past.

Lana walked a few paces before talking to Tara, the ghost that only Lana could see. "The last time I saw a so-called ghost it tried to..." "Kill you, I know, relax, I can't touch you, see" Tara placed her hand through Lana's chest. Lana felt a cold feeling rush through from that spot.

"Oh sorry, that always happens..."

"Your a real ghost?"

"Yes, I am, but that's not the point."

She paused for a moment as she looked at the others having a fun time.

"I could see that Dawn and the others are happy,"

"Well they still talk about you and they still miss you."

"I know, but I don't want to burden them. I want them to remember me, but as long as they are OK. But that's not why I choose to visit you, something bad will come and I can't tell them, since well I'm dead. But maybe..."

"Wow, what should I tell them? That something bad is going to happen, but I'm not sure if this ghost is telling the truth or not."

Tara smiled at Lana as she stood there with a confused expression on her face.

"Relax, just tell Willow. Tell her about me and then she'll understand. I'm sure of it," Tara paused for a moment as looked at Willow. "But anyway, just tell Willow, once she's alone. I'm not sure if I'm ready to talk to Dawn yet or the others, but just tell Willow. OK?" "OK," Lana replied as she turned and walked back toward the others.

Chapter Twelve:

A ghost girl.....

Clark sat there looking at Lana, he didn't know what was going on. But he had a bad feeling, a bad feeling that something's wrong with Lana. He always went along with what he felt, even if sometimes it was wrong. He paused at the thought as he sat there looking at Lana as she talked to the air, a few paces away.
Xander was telling the others about a funny story about his cousin and puddy.

Clark half listened as he tried to figure out what Lana was talking about and who she was talking to."It won't help, Clark" said a familiar voice from behind. "Tina" Clark exclaimed. "Who's Tina" Dawn asked as he looked at Clark. "No one can see me, Clark," said Tina's voice, still from behind Clark. "Oh Tina was a weird girl who was obessed with Lana." "Oh, so why did you call out her name?" "Because I thought I heard her voice." He replied in a calm tone.

"You did" Tina replied as she stood behind him. Clark turned and saw Tina standing there. "Come on, we need to talk," she said in a calm tone. He then looked at the others, they didn't seem to notice the girl with a pipe sticking out of it, just standing behind him. Lana appeared a few minutes later, she also didn't notice the girl with a pipe sticking out of her chest, just standing behind Clark.

"Don't say anything, now, just get up and walk a few paces that way." "Why should I trust you?" Tina smiled and then walked through Clark. He felt a cold pass through him."Hello, I'm dead, how can I attack you?" She asked in a sarcastic, but somewhat serious tone. "OK," He said in a soft whisper that no one else could hear. "Well, I have to go for moment" He said in a calm tone. He wasn't sure of anything now, should he really trust her? Or not?

He got up and started to walk alongside Tina. He took about fourty or seventy paces to the north before stopping. He looked at Tina for a moment. "Why are you here?" He asked her in a almost nervous tone. "Something bad is coming to Smallville and it's not a meteor freak..." She paused for a moment. "What is it?" He asked her not knowing weather she was telling the truth or lying. This girl tried to kill him twice and what made this different.

"Whatever it is, it's not natural, it's not meteor related. There's a, I'm not sure if you'll understand, but a demon coming to Smallville and it's going to try and make a new hellmouth here, in the middle of nowhere." She paused at the look in Clark's eyes. "You have to trust me," She said in a calm tone. "I know I tried to kill you twice, but this time I'm trying to help." "Why" He replied in a nervous tone. "I'm not sure," She replied in a calm tone as she stood there.

He then turned and walked away before Tina said another word. He didn't want to hear anymore for now, he just felt weird about talking to a ghost girl that was once consider insane and now has no clue why she's back. But what was she trying to say, a demon was trying to make a mouth to hell? Is that possible, maybe, it was possible considering weird things always happen here.

Chapter Thirteen

Secrets & Thoughts....

"Someone is going to try to make a new hellmouth." Willow said in a calm, but somewhat nervous tone. She looked at Clark for a moment before sitting down. "Great, another mouth to hell." "What is a hellmouth?" Clark said in a calm tone, he thought for a moment, realizing how stupid the question was. But he had to know what it was.

"It's a opening to hell, a army of ubver vamps, a group of powerful vampires would raise from it once it is opened or remade. These vampires aren't easy to kill," Willow replied as she sat there feeling nervous. "Now what?" "We do what we did before," Buffy replied as she grabbed a crossbow and loaded. "We find this demon guy and kill him before he tries to open or start a new hellmouth. Is that possible? God I wish Giles was here."

Willow thought for a moment before looking into a old fashioned book. She paused at a page with a strange drawing, "Oh," She said in a nervous tone as she turned and looked at Dawn. "What Dawn said as she noticed Willow's glance. "Well, it says here that to start a new opening to hell, the blood of the innocent and the blood of a non-demon, non-human, must be spilt and mixed."

"Who's Naman?" Willow asked Clark as she sat there. "I'm not sure who he is," He paused for a moment as he looked at Lana. She knew who Naman was, but should they tell the others or not. Lana wouldn't, she just stood there looking at Clark. She knew he wouldn't tell them, but instead try and save the day. He also knew her, he knew that she wanted him to tell the truth rather then be the hero and just save the day.Tara stood there for a moment, looking around, "So you must be Clark?"

she said as she stood there. The others were talking about who or what Naman was. Clark wasn't sure what to say as he looked at this blonde girl. "Relax, my names Tara." The girl said in a calm tone as she stood there. "Only people who can see me, are those who I choose to see me. Just tell them, your Naman." "I'm not.." He said in a soft whisper so that no one could hear, but Tara.

"Very well, your not Naman, but you must tell them that. Tell them that this so-called Naman is actually you, Clark." Tara replied in a calm tone. She turned and disappeared into nothing as fast as she appeared. He paused for a moment looking at the empty spot for a moment as he sat there.

Meanwhile, two men stood there out side the limits of Smallville. One was covered in a coat. The other looked like a old man with a scar on the side of his face.

"The military is getting to close," The old man said in a horsed tone as he stood there.

"It doesn't matter, they are running in circles. They have no clue were here..."

"But there close,"

"Not as close as the slayer is or as Naman is..."

"Who is Naman?"

"A so-called god that was foretold to have arrived during a meteor shower that happened several years ago."

There was a long pause as the old at the coat covered figure. He thought for a moment about the plan, what was wrong about it and then a third figure appear, the figure had crimson red eyes, a scar just below the left eye and was nearly covered by a hood.

"Naman, has become weak, he has mortal feelings and that is how we'll crush him."

"But what about the key?"

"She will be easy to..."

"She will be protect by the slayer..." "Will be taken care of." Said the third figure in a low sounding tone. "Very well, but to open a new hellmouth is to destroy the vabric of reality." Said the second figure as he stood there looking at the second figure. The first figure stood there for a moment as he looked at the other figures that stood there.

Chapter Fourteen

The Old Guard....

Willow sat there for a moment looking through book after book. "Clark, did this is source of yours said anything about who was going to make the new hellmouth?" "Well, my source didn't say much. I wasn't sure how she knew or why she knew." "So it was a girl who told you? Willow said in a calm tone. "Yes, her name was Tina..." "Tina Greer? Why would she know anything about this?"

"I'm not sure" Clark said in a calm tone as he stood there. "So anyone else saw dead person? Or is that it?" "Well, I saw Tara..." "Tara?" Willow said in a nervous tone. "Yea, Tara, I wasn't sure if you wanted to hear about it or not. She appeared in a dream I had and also at the picnic..." "Tara was at the picnic?" "Yea, but she only wanted to know if you were OK." "Oh" Willow replied in a somewhat sorrowful tone.

"So what? We don't know who Naman is and why does Tina know? How would she know about the hellmouth, when she never been there." Willow was know dazzed, most of the others were as confused. Clark didn't tell them, he didn't even tell Lana. He did tell her, his secret about being an alien, but didn't tell her that he was the Naman the people were talking about.

He took a deep breath and then decided to say something. "I'm Naman" Willow paused for a moment as the room turned silent. "Your the guy were looking for and you didn't us?" Xander said in a calm, but frustrated tone. "I mean come on, we were looking and researching, now you tell us...." "Xander, relaxed, I'm sure he has a good reason for not telling us, isn't that right Clark?" Willow said as she got to her feet.

"Yea, sorta," Clark said as he stood there. "Great, now we have both the Naman and the Key, so the only question is who is going to create a opening to hell and who will open it?" Buffy said as she paced the room. Suddenly someone breaks through the door, the person looks like a guy with a knight costume, but with a real sword. He charged the living room, Buffy ducked as he tried to slash her in half. She then kicked him out of the window. But then more appeared. They all carried real swords and axes.

Willow ducked as a spear went through the shattered glass. She then stood up, she whispered a chant that caused the on coming attackers to be fling back by a strong wind. They fell onto their backs, suddenly more rushed through the shattered glass. Buffy stood there, sword at hand, as she tried to fight off this wanna be knights. "OK, well at least now we know they are" Xander said in a sarcastic tone as he tried to fend off the oncoming attackers.

Two hours passed before the attackers decided to retreat then to continue the fight. "Great," Buffy said as she looked at the damage. "Just perfect, now what?" Willow started to pick up the shattered remains of the window. The spear was stuck in one of the walls. Xander helped as he tried to fix the door. Clark stood there for a moment, wondering what was that about.

"Clark," Willow said as she sat there on her knees. "Can you do something rather then stand there." "OK," He said as he quickly picked up the remaining pieces of shattered glass and then placed it in a small box that sat beside Willow. "Thanks" Willow said as she got to her feet. "So now what? We faced a bunch of knights and still we don't know who they are?"

She paused for a moment as she looked at a shiny sword that seemed to be stuck on the bottom part of the wooden window frame. "Wait, I saw this symbol from somewhere" She said as she tried to pull out the sword. She managed with the help of Clark. Willow then took out a thick gray book and started to skim the pages until she found one page with three odd looking men.

"Aw, there they are, the Old Guard, a secret cult of demon hunters that attempted to kill of the slayer and opened the orginial hellmouth, it failed when..." She paused for a moment,"Oh, eww... the fourth slayer killed the Old Guard's boss, by cutting off his head and setting his corpse on fire." "Well at least we now know who they are, we just need to stop them." Buffy said as she grabbed a sword and then looked at the others.

Chapter 15

Where?....

Buffy stood there for a moment before going to her room. She grabbed a wooden chest and then placed it onto the wooden table. "OK, so where do we go from here?" She asked Willow as she handed the others weapons. "I'm not sure yet." Willow replied in a calm tone. "I could try a spell," "OK, do that," Dawn sat there for a moment looking at the others.

"Where do I go?" "You stay here with Lana" Buffy replied as she looked at Willow. "OK, here it is" Willow said in a calm tone after she whispered a small cahnt in a foreign langauge. "The opening is well somewhere near the Talon." Willow said as she looked at this weird looking map of a miniture Smallville in a dark blue light. "OK, so what's the plan?" Xander asked as he stood there, a axe in hand.

"OK, Lana and Clark will stay here and protect Dawn, Willow will also stay here and make sure no knights get in. Me, Xander and some potentials will stop this ritual thing from starting." Buffy replied as she stood there. "What about Giles?" Willow asked as she looked at the phone. "He's too far away to help," Buffy replied as she walked toward the door.

Meanwhile the sky turned a dark gray, the ground shook alittle as Buffy, Xander and some of three of the potential slayers started toward the Talon. Willow talked to Buffy in the tellapathic way. 'The hellmouth can be made without the blood of the Naman and the Key, but it can't be open without it.... watch out, there's four knights in the alleyway

Suddenly a knight charges Buffy, she then ducks as he ran passed her. She then swung her sword and then slashed the second knight as he tried to charge her from the dark alleyway. She then stabs the third one as he tries to attack. She then kicked the fourth one onto the floor.

"OK, lets go." She said as she walked passed the dead and knocked out bodies of the four knights. It was a big fight all the way from there. Knights rushed from all sides as Buffy, Xander and the three potentials tried to find their way to the Talon.

Meanwhile back in Buffy's house, Willow sat there whispering a chant, while Lana sat beside the window, a crossbow in hand, Clark sat beside Dawn on the couch beside the window. Spears were being hurled at the house and fell short. A large group of knights stood a few inches from the house, all of them held a sword or were hurling more spears at the invisible barrier as they try to get the key and Naman.

Chapter Sixteen

The Superman complexity....

"The barrier can't last," Willow said as she looked at the spears as they bounced off the barrier, again and again. Some of the knights started to fire flaming arrows into the barrier as they tried to burn a hole through the barrier. Most of the neighbors ran away or was killed, or hid inside their houses. "Clark" Lana said as she looked at the invisible barrier it started to waver as knights started to ram it with what looked like a large battery ram made out of solid steel.

"The barrier is down!" Yelled one of the knights as he charged the house. Lana fired her crossbow and killed the knight as he get close to the window. "Clark.... I can't hold them off much, longer, use your powers" Lana said as she reloaded her crossbow and fired aimlessly into the attacking knights. Willow knew this would happen, that's why she also placed some magical barriers if the first one failed or wavered.

Dawn stood there looking around for a weapon of some sort. She knew that Buffy wanted her to stay put, but being that Buffy was somewhere else and that staying put would make her a sitting target. Dawn then looked through the weapons chest. "Nope, what is this?" She asked looking at a strange looking sword, "No," she tossed it aside and started to look for something like a crossbow.

She paused for a moment, "Ugh uh, there it is" She said in relieve, she picks up a crossbow and then picks up a stack. She then heads over to the window and then fires into the crowd. It missed and hit a tree, she then ducks, paused and then looks at Clark as he stood there. "Come on, we really need someone to help, there's too many of them," Dawn said as she tries to reload the crossbow and fires again.

He stood there for a moment, trying to fgure out what to do, should he show them his powers or not. This seemed hopeless, they couldn't fight these guys off for long. Knights fell as both Dawn and Lana fired stakes at them. He sighed and then went super speed, he knocked down the knights as they attacked. He tossed some of them onto the ground and then started fending off the knights as they tried to figure out what it was this blur was running through their ranks.

"It's Naman!" Yelled one of the knights as he stood their swinging his sword trying to fight off this blur of color. He then to was knocked down. The other knights are confused as they swing their swords at blur of color as it knocks out more of them. "How many are there?" Dawn asked as she reloaded the crossbow and fired again into the crowd as they tried to attack the house. Clark went back to normal speed and was now just using his super strengh to fight off the attackers.

Chapter Seventeen

The Old General

One of the knights ran a few miles away, he ran toward a group of knights on horseback. "General, general" The knight yelled out as he approached them. "What is it?" "Naman, he's came, so the rumors are true." He said to the other knights on horseback. "What is taking them so long?" The old general asked the knight as he stood there. "Naman is more powerful then we thought," said one of the other horsemen.

"He is also very fast" said the knight as he stood there. There was a pause as the general looked at the distant battle. "Now what?" asked one of the other horsemen. "We are dealing with no simple mortal, Naman is, if the prohecy is right, a god. Nothing can kill a god" "Every living thing has a weakness, gods have a weakness..." replied one of the other horsemen. "We need to find out what Naman's weakness is and then we can exploit it."

Clark tried to fend off the oncoming knights. They just seem to keep coming as one fell, two would take the fallen's place. Lana ducked and then reloaded the crossbow. 'Lana, Dawn, we need to keep moving,' Willow said as she stood there. "OK, to where?" Lana asked as she fired into the swarm of knights, killing one as he tried to charge the house. 'The kitchen, I could do a spell to protect us from the on coming knights." "What about Clark?" Dawn asked as she fired into the swarm, killing one more knight as he ran toward the house.

'Clark, is strong, and besides he's this Naman god guy,' Willow replied as she stood there. Lana walked slowly toward the kitchen, followed by Dawn and then Willow. Willow dragged the chest with her as she walked into the kitchen. "How do they know about Naman?" Lana asked as she sat behind a pile of boxes, reloaded a stake onto a crossbow and started to fire into the knights as they ran into through the window and toward the kitchen door.

The general looked through a small telescope as he watched Clark fighting off his men. "How many men have we lost?" Asked one of the horsemen as he watched Clark or Naman, beat back the first wave of knights. "So far, only twenty of our men have been killed." Replied a messenager as he stood there beside the general.

Two military helicopters appeared suddenly, they flew above the ground. They were following up on a weird report that there were a swarm of knights attacking a small house. "Confirm," said one of the pilots as he looked down at the swarm of knights as he swarmed the place. Both of the helicopters circled the house twice before flying away.

"What was that?" Dawn asked as she heard the sound of helicopter blades as they moved above the house. "Don't worry about that" Lana replied as she reloaded the crossbow and fired into the window. The arrow fly through the shattered window and killed another knight as he reached the house.

Chapter 18

The military?.....

Buffy ran through the streets of Smallville, Xander and the three potentials fought off the last of the knights as they appeared. It suddenly became quiet as Buffy stood there. A noise of two helicopters became clear as she stood there. "Oh great," she said looking up at the two green helicopters. "The military decided to show up, Xander, come on" She said as she ran toward what looked like a opening in the middle of the street. It led to a under ground cavern.

Xander jumped in after Buffy, he was followed by the three potentials. The under ground cavern looked like it was the original hellmouth. "Great, we fight off knight cult guys, demons and now, if my guess is right, the army is going to come in and complicate this even further." Xander whispered to Buffy as they sneaked through the cavern. It was quiet as they sneaked slowly through the dark cavern, trying not to make a sound as they moved.

'Giles,' Willow said as she tried to use tellapathy to connect him from miles away. "We need your help, knights are going to make a new hellmouth, the military is going to try and get involve, the problem is getting worse as the minutes pass by.' "I know, but wait, why does it matter to the military?" Giles asked as he stood in his office in Manchester, Britain. 'I don't know, but a lot of people are dying, some are knight cult members and some were the neighbors.'

She paused for a moment as she sat beside Lana. Dawn reloaded as Lana fired at the knights as they tried to get inside the kitchen. "I hope they don't go through the back door." Dawn said as she fired and killed a knight as he tried to climb through the window frame. Clark picked up a sword and started to slash at knights as they tried to take capture him.

Buffy stood there for a moment, noticing that the tunnel led to a massive chamber, three figures stood in the center. All three of them were hooded and motionless as they stood there in the center of the chamber. Two circles were painted onto the floor, the circles were arranged beside each other and was beside the middle of the chamber.

Chapter 19

Stand my Ground...

Buffy walked slowly into the room as she tried to sneak up on the three hooded figures that stood there. One turned and saw her as she tried to sneak up on them, he revealed what was under the hood and it was unhuman. The face looked disturbing as she looked at him, the eyes were cold and dark as he took a glance at her. He then attacked Buffy, she kicked him onto the floor. The other two figures realized what was going on and started to attack her.

Xander threw his axe at one of them. It cut down one of them before they could help the third figure up. He then picked up the axe and started to swing it at one of the figures as he tried to attack Buffy. The one knocked to the floor, got up and started to fight them. Buffy stabbed him in the chest, the demon went to he's knees and died. More hooded figures started to appear from no where.

"Great" Xander said in a sarcastic tone as he stood there, swinging his axe around the room. The ground started to shake even more as the five stood there fighting off hooded figures. Buffy looked at one end of the chamber, there stood a small platform, on which a small aumlet was placed. "How do we make them stop?" One of the potentials asked as she killed off another hooded figure as he tried to kill her.

Meanwhile back in the house, Lana hid behind a pile of boxes, wondering weather they were going to attack from the back door. She hoped they didn't the back door or at least didn't try to break the walls of the kitchen. She reloaded the crossbow. She fired again killing another knight as he tried to get into the house. Dawn sat beside Lana as they reloaded their crossbows and continued to fire.

Clark kept fighting as the knights tried to capture him. They would attack in groups of ten or eight from different sides. He felt tensed as he stood there, swinging the sword around, stabbing knights as they tried to capture him. He felt a little tired, but knew he had to stand there fighting them off.

Suddenly three police cars appeared at the far corner of the neighborhood. They were followed by amoured trucks, the backs of the trucks opened up and a bunch of cops in SWAT gear got out. The police opened fire into the swarm and started to fight off knights as some of them turned their focus toward them and forgot about the house and Naman.

Sorry, if I confused people, oh and to explain where Chloe is, she's sick and went to the hospital. There were some Clana moments, I just forgot to make them longer then a few paragraphs. I've been trying to get to that Clana, so be patient. I can't skip things, that would led to more questions. So please be patient, I put this here for a reason and that is because it is a Clark and Lana fic, which it will be.

Chapter Twenty

Chloe returns....

Buffy started toward the platform, she picked up the aumlet and then threw it onto the ground. The hooded figures dissappeared after all an hour of fighting. Buffy, Xander and the three potentials ran out of there as fast as possible. The roof gave in suddenly as they ran out of there.

It took a few minutes to get out of the cavern into the tunnel and out to the surface road. The shaking stopped, the air was silent as Buffy stood there looking at the cloud of dust that bellowed from underneath the road. When the dust cleared, half the road was missing or collapsed in. The front Talon was collapsed in. Xander stood beside Buffy as they stood there.

Chloe felt a little better after being sick for several months. She was heading toward the Talon, when she saw it collapsed in. She stopped beside Buffy. "So what did I miss?" Chloe asked looking at the blonde girl and black haired guy that stood there beside the half wrecked road.

"Well the near end of the world" Xander replied in a sarcastic as he stood there. Chloe turned to him. "Who are you? And why does the Talon look likes been bombed in?" Buffy turned and walked away as Chloe stood there. She was surprised that something weird happened and no one told her, no one even bothered to visit her.

The knights started to run away after realizing that the fight would never end. Clark stood there, feeling exhuasted after hours of fighting off knights. Lana stood up, started to walk toward Clark as he stood there. It was quiet as they stood there. "It's over, finally" She said in a relieved tone.

OK, the following will be an attempt to write a kiss scene. I tried before and well no one read it, so I'm worried about this attempt at a Clana kiss scene, so just tell the truth about it, even if it is negative.

Chapter Twentyone

Opened my eyes and....

It was quiet as Lana stood there, looking into Clark's exhuasted and battered face. She smiled as she felt his arm around her waist. She placed her arms on his shoulder. She smiled as she looked at him, it was a peaceful and one of the happiest moments in her life. She closed her eyes, leaned, hoping for Clark to kiss her.

She felt calm and relaxed as she stood there kissing him. A pleasent feeling come over her as she kissed him. It only took a few seconds, but the pleasent feeling still lingered as she looked at him. She fell for a alien in flannel, a cute alien with a weird personality and a honest pure personality.

She felt the happiest she had ever had, for the first time, she felt like he was actually there. He seemed so distant for so long and now there he was, the real him, not some awkward farm boy who had a small crush on her and her friend. Now she saw him for who he really was.

"So" Dawn said as she stood there. "This wouldn't be a good time for bad news?" She asked as she looked at the two. "What bad news?" Lana asked as she looked at Dawn. "Well the good new is your blonde friend is good as new." Dawn said in an attempt to change the subject.

"What bad news?" Lana repeated the question as she looked at Dawn. "Umm well, nothing" Dawn said in an attempt to avoid the question. "You two were in a moment, I shouldn't tell you bad news now, maybe later." She said in a hurry as she turned and ran into the house.

Chapter twenty two

Friends and trust.....

"Well the good news is were all safe, the bad is well.. the Talon is... no more." Dawn said as she stood there. "What do you mean no more?" "Well the front is collapsed in and not sure if anything survived that small quake." Chloe walked along the street and headed toward the house where the others stood. Buffy followed close behind followed by Xander and the three potentials.

"I'm sorry for well runing your moment" Dawn said as she looked at Lana and then Clark. "It's OK," Lana said as she looked at Clark. "Well," came Chloe's voice. Lana and Clark turned and there stood Chloe. She seemed fine, she looked relaxed and didn't seem heart break. Didn't seem, but didn't seem and didn't feel are two different concepts.

Lana felt awkward as she stood there beside Clark. She loved him, but she felt awkward by the fact that Chloe also felt the same way, even if she didn't show it. It slowly became more awkward as the minutes passed. "Goodbye Lana" Chloe finally said as she turned and started to walk away.

It was painful to see her leave, but for some reason Lana wasn't sure what to say. She lost a friend, for a guy or more to say a alien. The words were trapt in her throat, a cold feeling rushed through her for a moment. She felt worried about Chloe and what might happen next.

Dawn stood there for a moment, she looked at Chloe as she started to walk away. It was weird, though, seeing that they never met, but then again what was normal? The fact of the matter was, these people were strangers to her, she didn't know what must have happened between them, but the expressions on their faces were easy to read, even to a sixteen year old.

Chapter Twentythree

The big moments...

'I was quiet,' Dawn said to herself as she looked at the pain in Lana's and in Clark's face as Chloe walked away. 'All of them were in pain, I don't know how to put it, I was watching something painful, it was like I was standing somewhere else looking into a tv screen. My feet were frozen in the ground, my arms were stuck beside me.

I didn't know them, I didn't even know what happened to them or if the pain seemed to crush their every being. But what was pain? What was real? I don't know, maybe it was because I seen alot of pain, but then again there were those small moments that, the ones that seem to comfort me even though sometimes it only lasts for seconds. I'm only sixteen, maybe that's why this seemed so painful to watch.

'It was hard, to just stand there and watch my friend go away and never come back Lana said to herself, the tears seem to form behind her eye lids. The pain was hard to explain, the facts were clear and somewhat covered as she stood there. The air was still as they stood there. Chloe was now gone, the thought of seeing her again brought with it the thoughts of more awkward silence and the fact that nothing seemed the same, everything was changing and none of them could do a thing about it.

Buffy stood there for a moment beside Dawn, she didn't know what happened. But the sense of lose lingered in the air. It was hard to explain. but somehow Buffy knew the sense, knew the feeling of lose and change. The fighting was over, but the pain lingered, the emotional pain that would slowly fade as the years go by. But now it lingered in the air, all around them.

Chapter Twenty-four

killed my pain....

It was awkward not seeing Chloe, even if it was only two days ago that she reappeared. Lana stood there looking at the sky. The thoughts of missing a friend and gaining the trust of a guy, seemed to confuse her as the days go by. It was pain, but in a way, she regretted losing a friend. It was quiet as she stood there. The air was still, the sky was blue and the wind was calm.

She wasn't sure about anything now, the pain seemed to tear through her heart as she just stood there. The annoying memory of Chloe walking away, not letting her explain why they didn't visit her. The real reason was, Chloe wasn't just sick, she was almost dying. Lana kicked the dirt, feeling sad and somewhat irrated at the thought of Chloe leaving simply because Clark loved her friend.

Irration turned to anger, she kicked the dirt and grass even harder at the idea of breaking Chloe's heart and the fact of the matter was, she had no clue why? She didn't know why Chloe really left or where she was going. But the pain, the sadness of losing a friend and the angery feelings that Chloe was the one responsible for ruining their relationship, not her.

But in a way, she thought to herself, it was her. But then again who really caused this relationship to subsided, was it really to last, hardly, the fact was, she knew that Chloe and her would never really be friends, even if they did try to. They would always be different from each other, one was out going and one was interested in the weird.

to be continued.... writers block and the fact that mom annoys me when I try to get my thoughts clear. But don't worry I'll try to update as soon as possible. I just need to lock my door and hope mom doesn't come in.

Chapter Twentyfive

Moving on.....

Lana sat there, her back leaned against a tree, she felt annoyied by the way things seemed to fall apart in her life. But for some reason this seemed familiar to her though, the fact was once she felt happiness for a moment or two, it would slowly fall apart as always. "Lana, you OK?" came a now some what familiar voice.

"I'm fine, Dawn" Lana replied as she sat there looking at the grass. "OK, well we survived, that's a good thing." Lana just sat there. "OK," There was a short pause before Lana got to her feet. "Well, I have to go" Lana said in a calm as turned and started to walk away.

"Wait up" Dawn said in a calm tone as she got to her feet and started to walk along side Lana. She didn't seem to have taken a notice toward anyone, she just walked a few paces before turning to Dawn. "So what happens now?" "I don't know, but man, yesterday was crazy, but at least no one, well expect a few hundred knights, were killed."

There was a long pause as they stood there. Neither one of them said a word as they stood there. The pause slowly turned to awkward silence. Neither one of them had a single thing to say to the other. It was just awkward silence. Buffy appeared out of the house, she stopped beside Dawn.

Twenty-six

Moving on Part 2....

Clark stood there, not knowing what else to say, no did. It was odd though, the fact was; it was just weird though, just simply weird. No one was sure what to say at this point. Dawn just sat there looking at the sky. Xander sat beside Buffy, who sat beside Lana.

'I sometimes wonder if this was just a weird dream... Buffy said to herself as she sat there looking up at the blue sky. ... as if this was just a nightmare and that nothing here was real, but it felt feel real. It was real, even I try to tell myself otherwise. She sighed as she sat there.

It was odd, Dawn said to herself as she sat there. I mean why wasn't anyone talking, was it just me or was this just the wrong time, to say anything, maybe, I'm not even sure what had happened, this seemed so weird, maybe I should just shut up or maybe this could be the quiet moment, I'm not sure.

Lana sat there looking at the sky, 'Now what? She asked herself, Everyone was quiet, I guess I'm not the only one lost for words. I mean what was left to say, I mean is this is what growing up was about? Feeling awkward, confused and worried? The thing that worried me is that I'll never see my friend again or if she'll even talk to me again

Chapter Twenty-seven

Hello life.....

The following day, Lana walked along side Clark. The following days were kinda a rush for them, they had to prepared for graduation that following Friday. It was odd, now realizing that they were going to college without Chloe, their friend. She left a few weeks ago, transferred into some different high school somewhere in Oregon. She would gradute from there rather then in Smallville.

Willow smiled at Lana as she tried on her graduation gown for the fifth time and looked at herself in the mirror for the tenth time today. "Relax, Lana" Willow said as she stood there. "You look pretty, I'm sure you'll look good in all the graduation photos" Willow said in a calm tone as she walked across the room, smiled at Lana and then turned and walked out of room.

'Great, on Friday, I'll be out of high school and saying hello to life in some sense, Lana said to herself as she tried ignore the fact that one of her friends wouldn't be here. She gave a small sigh as she looked at herself in the mirror. "You look nice" came Clark's voice from across the room.

She turned and smiled at him as he stood there in his hat and gown. "You look nice too" She replied feeling happy that one person she loved was going to be at her graduation. She gave him a hug that lasted four minutes and then looked at him, she was glad that he was there, even if it meant the lose of two friends.

"Well you two look nice" came a now familiar voice behind Clark. It was Dawn, she stood there for a moment. "So you two are graduting? Wow, well at least you two are in love that's usually a good thing," Dawn then turned and walked down the hall that went pass Willow's room and led to the second story bathroom.

Chapter twenty-eight

Hello Life part II......

Lana smiled as she looked at Clark, he looked really nice in a cap and gown. She stood there for a moment before going to seat down on the bed. "Wow, four years passed by really fast." she finally said giving the strength to let go go of all her worries. She didn't feel worried, she felt a bit disheartened by the lose of Pete and Chloe.

Even though they were still alive, the absense of them seems to trouble her more then graduting. It suddenly became quiet as they sat there. Three more days and then they were going to leave the halls of Smallville high. She didn't know what to say, she wasn't going anywhere. No, maybe, she wasn't sure if she should tell Clark that she was going to attend a university in France and not in Kansas.

She sighed as she sat there, the feeling of awkwardness rushed through her as she sat there. "I love you, " she said in a calm tone as she sat there. The minutes passed by, the long pause became to more awkward silence as they sat there. Dawn walked up and down the hall, trying to find her necklace, or that's what she told Clark and Lana as she walked down the hall for the third time.

Willow and Xander was playing chess in the newly repaired living room. Meanwhile Buffy was on the phone with Giles, who was now in Manchester, England. Willow sighed as she sat there, feeling bored, she then took a nap before beating Xander at chess for the fourth time today.

Chapter twentynine

Love is honest....

"I love you" Clark finally said as he sat there looking at Lana. She smiled at him, as he placed his arm around her. It was a pleasent feeling, a feeling that she really needed now that Pete and Chloe were gone and out of her life and his as well. She now knew why Pete left, the feeling of having a deep secret like this seems for the moment too much, but she loved Clark and always told him that even when times got rough or just plain weird.

Friday, she only worried about graduation and how it was going to turn out. She gave up the whole idea of moving to France, she found what she needed here, what would be in France anyway? It's not like she'll find someone there, fall in love with him and then, she paused for a moment at the thought. The thought of meeting someone knew was scary and always ended up with her having a weird story of how she was saved by Clark Kent for the millionth time in three months.

She felt insecure when she was a freshmen and now she sat here with someone she loved the most. She also met new friends, but lost two in the process. She gave out a small sigh as she sat there looking at him for a moment, before closing her eyes. She felt calm now that this whole weird hellmouth thing was over, for now. Now the main focus was on graduation and what college she would go to or if she'll go to the same college as Clark.

"You two OK?" Willow asked as she stood there in the doorway. "Were fine" Lana replied as she sat there. "Oh, well, I was wondering what you two were going to do after high school, what are your plans going to be?" Willow asked as she sat on the otherside of Lana. "Well, I'm not sure, but me and Clark were going to enroll in the local college."

I'm glad you guys like my story even though some of it is Buffy related. I know notice that Smallville fans never watched Buffy and Buffy fans never watched Smallville. Wow, I'm like the only Smallville and Buffy fan on this site or probably the only one uses both characters into one fanfic.

We'll since I have enough time, I'll try to explain some of the characters from the Buffy side of this fanfic. Here it goes....

Willow Rosenberg is a powerful lesbian wicca who was in love with Tara during seasons four and six. Until Tara was killed by Warren, which I already explained about. It's mentioned in several episodes that she's of Jewish orgins. In the first seasons she was a geekish red head with insecurties and worries about herself.

She is now much wiser and understanding after season six. She's the smartest of the group and is well educated. Her parents aren't mentioned much during the seven seasons. Her father doesn't appear at all, but her mother appeared in the episode known as Witch, where two children seduces the whole town to do what ever they want them to do, they tell the town to burn Buffy, Willow and Amy at the stake.

Willow was not always a lesbian or a wicca, before that she was just a shy, adorable red haired girl who was friends with Alexander 'Xander' Harris. Before Willow dated Tara, she dated like three guys who all broke her heart at different times during the first three seasons.

1. A demon who seduced her by using a chant room
2. Her best friend Alexander Xander Harris, they felt close at some points during the three first seasons. Once they kissed, but decided that it would be best to stay friends.
3. Oz, he left because he was too dangerous, the fact of the matter was, he was a werewolf and was scared that he might hurt her.

Alexander Xander Harris is a honest person and loyal friend to Buffy and Willow. He has no super powers, no super strength, but he is loyal to hs friends, no matter what the big bad was. He would try and help his friends. He is also the sarcastic type in the group. His parents aren't shown that much during the series, for good reasons. Mr Harris and Mrs. Harris agrues constantly and never agree with the other on anything.

Xander was going to marry Anya, but something made realize that he might ended up like his parents, just ending up with him hurting the one he loved. He didn't want that and that's why it hurted him to not get married. This happened in the episode known as Hells Bells, season six. Before season six, Xander and Anya were friends which slowly grew into a love relationship. Xander also had past relationships before Anya, three to be exact.

1. A Inca mummy who pretended to be a modern girl
2. Cordelia Chase, a cheerleader who joins the cast of Angel, another Joss Whedon show.
3. Willow Rosenberg, they decided to stay friends rather then try anything else

Buffy Anne Summers is the vampire slayer, which is obivous from the name. She is the leader of the group and is very strong. She has gone through several changes with her friends by her side. They had their moments, the ones where it seems like everything was going down hill and failing faster. She's been through a lot physically and emotionally as the serios progressed along.

She's fought many vampires during the seven seasons Buffy was on TV. She's also fought several big bads, some were made up and solid, some were fears that most people face every day. She's joked around, sometimes she's serious and sometimes she likes to mix the two. She died twice while the show was still on air. She died the first time when the Master (vampire) tried to drown her in a small pound and she was given mouth to mouth by Xander who found her laying there. The second time, she jumped into a vortex knowing that was the only way to stop it from growing. She also had three relationships as well....

1. Angel, he was a vampire who fell in love with the slayer
2. Riley, a soldier from some secret organization who left her in season 5
3. Spike, him and Buffy made out a few times, but just a few times.

I'll update my story later, but hopefully as soon as possible.

Chapter 31

Love is honest....

Lana looked at Clark for a moment, she wasn't sure what else to say. She was still unsure about where she was going and if it involved him. She then looked at Willow. Willow noticed the expression, it an obivous one and it was easy to understand. "Oh, well I'm sure whatever college it is, you two will be fine." She said this in a nervous, but somewhat confident tone. She turned and walked down the stair way.

Lana looked at Clark for moment, not sure what was left to say. Both of them have been honest, mostly Lana, about their relationship and so far it's gone down a long, unusual slope and now it was at the lowest point or reaching that area. She didn't know where it was going. It was like a nightmare, the one where you take a test you didn't study for or knew about until this point. She tries to say to herself, that this is normal, that this was just normal. But that just meant she was lying to herself.

She lied to herself, that was why she got over the death of parents, the absense of a parent, a mother and or father. It was odd though, she had a father, but he left her a few days after they finally met. She lied to herself, that is why she survived mentally for 18 years of her existance. She prentended to most everyone that she was fine. But now it was getting harder to keep that facade. She knew this alien for so long as someone she could trust to be normal and understanding.

But something was different, or something was changing about her life. It was hard to explain in words or in any other form of written or spoken languge. She was happy and some what scared about leaving high school without her friends Chloe and Pete. She sighed as she sat there looking down at the floor. It wasn't that graduation was two days away or the fact that this farm boy was actually an alien, it was because she had no idea this was going to end like this, four years of weird and unusual events ending in one day, or maybe not.

Lana sat there for a moment before standing up and then walking out the door. The following days were unevenful until that Friday, graduation came. Everyone Lana and Clark met from a few days ago was there to see them as they took the slip of paper saying they passed high school and was ready to go into college.

The speaker read the names off a long list as he handed each of the students a piece of paper, shaked their hand and then moved onto the next student. It was uneventful and uneventful ceremony as most of them were. It took several hours for the speaker to handed out the certifcates(Sp) to all of the graduting class.

Clark finally asks Lana to marry him. She smiles at him, takes a few minutes to think about it. "I think I should wait two more days, I need some time to think about it. OK?" Lana asked as she got to her feet and looked around for Willow, Buffy, Xander and Dawn, who decided to show up.

Lana smiles when she finally finds them in the crowd. She tells them that Clark wants them to get married and she wasn't sure what to say. "Well, I'm sure he could wait." Buffy said as she smiled at Lana. "I mean marriage is, wow, it's a giant leap and well if you know that it's also something that is permante."

Chapter 33

The wedding

Buffy smiles at Lana. Xander looks at Buffy, so does Dawn. "I'm sure you'll make a lovely couple." Buffy says in a calm and unerved voice. "Yea, I'm sure you'll be happy together." Xander assures Lana. "You think?" Lana asks nervously. "I'm sure of it." Dawn says in a friendly tone. Lana smiles at her new friends. "Thanks, I really appreatice(sp?) it." She says in a calm and some uneased tone. "So when's the wedding?" Xander asks in a calm tone. "Oh, in two days" Lana replies in a brisk tone.

Lana decideds to get married rather then wait. She knows its permante and feels that it's time to find something solid. The wedding is a exciting time for Lana and Clark. The sad part is Chloe and Pete are missing from the guest list. Lana's new friends Xander, Willow, Dawn, and Buffy at least showed for the wedding.
